101 Facts About Me.
Now I realize that not all of them are here just yet. It's going to take me a while to come up with them, lol.
I only have 65 done now, but I will add the rest later.
1:: When I was younger, I use to cut up my banana into tiny pieces and make a smiley face with it on a plate. I would then slowly eat each piece.
2:: Also when I was younger, I would have a little pack of pudding, like a carton type one. And once I was done I use to fill it up with milk and drink from it. lol.
3:: I've lived in this current house since 1992 and only one month after we moved in, that terrible Hurricane Andrew landed in Louisiana and the eye just missed our neighborhood. We were extremely lucky to only have a few holes in our roof and just twigs and leaves in the yard. And the pond behind us flooded a lot, but luckily it come to the house. Oh yes and we didn't have power for like 3-4-5 days. Yes, we were lucky, no down trees on our house. That's lucky to not have a tree on your house, trust me. Other houses around were really damaged.
4:: On September 26, 2002 we were hit with tropical storm or hurricane Isidor and I got to miss school on my birthday! But I think we may have lost power for a while.
5:: My computer I have now was originally almost dead, like didn't work, but my dad managed to fix it with new parts and now it works. But it messes up every now and then...
6:: I took piano for 4 years to avoid having to play an instrument in band at school. I was pretty good at it, but after a while I lost interest so I quit. My mom was very upset. And now I have recently begun to play again, but only every once in a while. I like it now though.
7:: I've talked my way out of getting a pink slip back in 4th ish grade. But the person I was in trouble with was a bad person so they naturally believed what I said, plus it was the truth. So she got the pink slip instead!
8:: I've been dancing for 13 years now. I've done ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, and hip hop. And Ballet in college.
9:: I have the author, Gary Paulson's, autograph. -And a picture!
10:: I've had shin splints for a very long time now. But they've gotten better, for now.
11:: I'm a very organized person, you can tell by looking at my clothes (color cordinated, lol) books (in order of biggest to smalled, lol) and hmm what else, and really just how things are broken up.
12:: I can also tell if something is missing, or been misplaced. Say if a little oil shaped animal is facing the wrong way, I'll catch it out of the corner of my eye and fix it. (has happened)
13:: I am very touchy according to my friends Amber and Jamie. They say this because I don't like people touching my school books and binders because I think they will draw on them. Most of the time they do too!
14:: I've had the same screen name for say 4 years now. But I've used the instant messaging for like 5-6 years. But I've got a new one now.
15:: I'm a pack rat and I know this. I will save odd things because they have a 'memory' but in a years time they will eventually be thrown away after I have come to the decision that I will live without it. lol.
16:: I have a lava lamp in my bedroom that works but have only used it say 20 times in the 8ish years I've had it. heh.
17:: I had this pair of shoes that I loved, but they were totally messed up! Half the bottom of one shoe was missing so my heal was lower to the ground then should be (tennis shoes) And they have been chewed on my the dog. But yet I still wore them. They are almost 4 years old now, I can still fit in them, but haven't worn them in a while. Plus I wore them in the World Trade Center, another reason I won't get rid of them. And I've finally gotten rid of them now. They smelt soo bad from work.
18:: I tried out for my city's play production thingy, Annie. But I sucked and messed up because it was the first time I sang in front of someone so I was really nervous, so they didn't pick me, and I completely understand. I wouldn't have picked myself either. But I have to say, I did the dancing tryout muy bien!!
19:: I attempted to learn Elvish on my own, but gave up because I ran out of time. I think I still have the documents of the lessons though...
20:: I tried to learn Italian on my own, with my computer, but the program was pissing me off so I stopped, lol.
21:: When I was younger, I would always watch the movie Grease at my grandma's house becuase there wasn't anything else to do. I would sing and dance it out. And if the movie comes on now, I know the words really well!! lol. But then who doesn't.
22:: Also when I was visiting her, I would put together 3D puzzles over and over again.
23:: I say I will continue to write in a diary everyday but that never happens. But I did back in 2000. I kept it going for a few months.
24:: I've seen 13 Broadway plays. Cats (twice), Phantom of the Opera (three), Footloose, Grease, The Sound of Music, Man of La Mancha, Phantom, Titanic, Stomp, Chicago, and I think that maybe it. In some of those plays was Barry Willams from The Brady Bunch, uh, Cindy Willams & Eddie Mekka from Laverne & Shirley, um and that chick in Chicago who I believe is married to Antonio Bandaras. I think that's it. 5 out of those 13 were actually on Broadway.
25:: I have this thing where I do not like to get in bed with dirty feet. They have to be clean or I'm very uncomfortable. (Over this as I take showers in the morning now).
26:: I've been at the same school since I was in Kindergarten and plan to stay till I graduate. There are currently 7-8 other people who are the same way. -in the same grade. And I did stay there!
27:: I've done the sports: Basketball, baseball, volleyball, bowling, and soccer. I've always wanted to do track, but my school didn't have it. Plus my shin splints would prevent me from it anyway.
28:: I write my homework for that night on my hand. It's in a code too. Say I have math that night and I need everything(book and binder) it will say 'me' for 'math' and 'everything' if I need a binder it's 'bi' and the subject before it. For book it's 'bo'. lol. A guy in my class use to read it everyday. lol, it twas Adam. tehe! Rachel knows who I'm talking about, case you don't he left this year! lol - I actually no longer do this.
29:: My emotions can change extremely quickly on occasion. I can be furious one moment and then laughing the next. -I'm more tame now, but it could happen if you trigger it.
30:: If my hands are on the keyboard I will keep them only on the correct position. I don't like it if they aren't in the right place either. lol.
31:: I use to run 5K's (3.2 or 3.1 miles) My best time was 33 minutes and 33 seconds. Go me! But I haven't done it a while. It was called the corporate cup.
32:: I've also ran in the 'reindeer run' at Christmas - 5K. And the 'Race for the Cure' for Breast Cancer -5K. I've volunteered there too with my mom.
33:: One time I was chewing this stick of gum and it dissolved on me and I had to spit it out. I will never have that kind ever again. It was soo nasty. It just became water!!
34:: I have two of those American Girl dolls. Samantha and Josephine? I think so. I want to get rid of them though. They are in really good condition too. Except for the fact that they are covered in dust. -And we've sold them now. Yay.
35:: I once had this glass table in my closet. But it's gone now because I complained about it. I also have my mom's maternity clothes in mine too. But they are way off to the side so you can't even tell.
36:: I use to wear glasses so on my dance performances I couldn't wear them because I was afraid they would fall off. Therefore I couldn't see clearly, but still did fine.
37:: At the Centroplex, where my dance performances were, it's like a big stage where they hold plays and such. I saw 4 shows there, the Broadway ones. Anyway this fact is: I know the backstage like the back of my hand and I feel cool like that. lol. It's really pretty niftty!!
38:: I know my school like the back of my other hand, lol.
39:: I have pencil lead in my hand, or rather graphite. I think I've told this story. But for those who haven't heard: They said back in 2nd grade to hold your pencil with the tip of it in your hand, or palm, so you wouldn't stab anybody. So I was doing that, someone ran into me or something and it stabbed me. I opened my hand and the pencil was sticking up. So I pulled it out and the pencil tip broke and I still have it in. My mom tried to get it out later but the pool of blood kept appearing, it was too deep and too painful for me to sit through. And so now you can still see it in my hand! It's on my right hand.
40:: I've never broken a bone or been stung by a bee, etc. *knocks on wood!!!!*
41:: lol, I have this huge sock like thingy, lol, that's filled with rice that I heat up in the microwave that keeps me warm. And the point is, is that I call it 'Mr. Bean' when it doesn't have any beans in it! lol.
42:: I also have a smaller sock filled with rice and it's called 'Mr. Bean Junior' lmao. (My god I'm so weird. lol.)
43:: I've named a bird 'Moe' because it was a morning bird, dove, mocking bird, I can't remember. lol, but I named it that and it was fat and cute. It later had a girl, well I said it was a girl, with him later and named her ... crap I forgot!! 'Joe' maybe, lol.
44:: I never wanted a pony when I was little, just never did.
45:: I use to watch the channel Nickelodeon alllll the time! But one day I said 'no more' and that was that. I haven't watched it since.
46:: I have successfully broken a habit. Instead of biting my fingernails off I peal them with my other fingers, lol. So I have stopped that and now I have really long nails that people think are fake. Or gross. lol.
47:: I think in 4th or 5th grade I was in that normal math for like a quarter then my teacher switched me to an upper math class because I was doing really well, and I've been in the upper since. Along with other people though, but the point is, is that I switched in the middle of the year.
48:: One science fair project, myself, Jamie, and Rachel did a project on bubbles. And we set up our booth under the basketball goal. There we had 3 or 4 ropes go into it, so that people could stand on a stool and we could raise the tied hula hoop above them, *takes breath* which mean the person was surrounded by a huge bubble. And now, Jamie, myself, I'm not too sure about Rachel, but I think she may agree, will never touch bubbles again. Well you know what I mean. Those little children do not listen when you say 'wait I need to hold the stool or you will slip on it and splash the bubbles everywhere' And they stepped on it, making me covered in bubbles. Oh a grand ole time. lol, but it was fun, I think our was the best!! People have copied our idea to this day too. Muwhahah1!!
49:: For my social studies fair projects I've done the Brooklyn Bridge and the 1912 San Francisco Earthquake. Heh, couldn't really tell you what happened with either except their location, lol. I made each 'visual aid' out of legos and they turned out awesome!! Also, I had these little cars on the Bridge one and I was getting board when we were standing by our projects so I cat on the table and my friend Jamie was behind me and we would roll the cars back and forth to each other. They would crash and we just found it hilarious. We were lucky to be behind each other again the next year so we did the same thing, even though the cars weren't needed for the earthquake project.
50:: I've been on tv before!! lol on ABC's Good Morning America. I want to go back and say something like 'I was here 5 years ago!!' on a poster, lol. Or now I guess 10.
51:: I have lots of scars on my knees and elbows from falling. I also have one on my nose when I flew over my bike and landed on my nose, ouch! lol.
52:: My mom claims me to being a baby about everything, I don't think so, so she is amazed that I can pull out my teeth sooo easily. I would sit in front of the mirror when it was almost ready to come out. I would then move my tooth, or rather twist so the roots would snap and then twist more and more so it had moved in a few circles then pull and it's out!! lol.
53:: I sleep with a stuffed animal, Doby a beanie baby, and my pink blanket that I've had since I was an infact. Doby was the 3rd beanie baby I'd ever had. (Hello, I've grown up now.)
54:: But that hobby of beanie babies grew to an enormous one! lol, I was in the phase with everyone else. I had like 130+ ones! But almost all have been sold except the 'rare' ones when are on top of my desk. You can prob see in the pictures of my room.
55:: Oh since I couldn't see in the dance performances, I learned how to recognize by there shape, height, their obvious body parts type yeahhh. lol. I can recognize who they are by just how they stand or what shoes or something they are wearing. Or the noise of how they walk.
56:: Also I can easily tell if they a person is mad, happy, excited, etc just by how they stand, talk, type, act, etc.
57:: I love the 70's and can't wait for the 80's to strike back!!! lol
58:: I have a photographic memory.
59:: I like to listen to my music loud at home and in the car. But my mom doesn't like it loud in the car so we are constantly turning it up and down. lol. (But now I can drive and do what ever! Yep, but still a loser.)
60:: Back in '98 I sent a little drawing of a band aid for a contest. It was a Curad Bandage Design Contest. And the winner would have their design made. And I got Honorable Mention!! This is what the certificate thingy says: 1998 Honorable Mention. With great pleasure, we certify that Marielle lastname is an excellent bandage designer with an impeccable sense of color and style who also possesses a gifted imagination. and then the signature of the president of the company. Whoohoo! lol, prob all the people who tried got that. But I did see something close to mine a few years later! lol. It was smiley faces (yellow) with a blue background either with or without stars, can't remember.
61:: I don't go out shouting my website address, so if you know me personally (that means I've seen you in real life) keep the address to yourself. It's a privilege, don't abuse it.
62:: Although, on several instances on planes. I've left the address on random pages in magazines. Odds of looking for it are slim, but if you found it, cool!
63:: I'm third generation to go to the University of Vermont, and I feel so cool for saying it.
64:: Wasn't there a tv channel called the Box or something? Played a lot of music videos back in the early 90s. I remember it being awesome.
65:: I've finally been paid for my photography and have been published in a magazine. I can retire lol.
