Last Friday of classes, and that was the same with Thursday and Wednesday. I went to History class and then did some reading in between classes. I went to Beer and we had a speaker who's a judge. It was interesting. After I met Sophie at Brennan's to have some lunch. We sat and talked for a long time, until 3:15ish. We were also joined by Brittany at the very end. At 3:30 we would find out which sorority would absorb us. We all waited and at last, like 15 minutes later, were told it was Kappa Alpha Theta. So that's exciting. They were disestablished a year before I came to UVM, so now they'll be back so this is good. Now hopefully we can get initiated soon. I'd like it to be next week so I can still be in school and not an alumnae just yet. But we shall see. I rode with Emily and Kristen and Avory to do some shopping because I really just wanted a ride home and had to get through that first lol. We went to Jo-Ann Fabrics and then to Michael's for some stuff. At last I got dropped off and relaxed for the rest of the night. I watched tv and cooked a pizza and went to sleep just after 12. 10:29PM

I was up earlyish for another presentation. Today it was Kappa Alpha Theta. There's blew me away. It was stronger than the day before's too. I got to stay for the whole time. I came home after that and had lunch. I looked for jobs to apply to for a while, but then worked on my webpage for a number of hours. When it was dinner time, I made spaghetti. Once it was 8 we watched tv for the rest of the night. Oh and the snow is finally gone, good. And it's beginning to warm back up a little too. 10:25PM

Believe it or not it was still snowing today. I used an umbrella to keep the snow out of my face today lol. I went up early to view the first new sorority presentation: Kappa Delta. It was good, but I had to leave after 30 minutes in order to go to my History class. I ran over to that, took my notes and once it was done I came back to the Davis Center. It finished up and then I went down to the bookstore to get my cap and gown. It's made out of recycled plastic bottles, but yet it still cost $64. I got lunch at New World Tortilla. I went back upstairs to have lunch with the Kappa Delta ladies. I got the questions I had answered and then had to rush off to Beer class. That class was fine, we talked about fermenting soy and dairy stuff. I came home and worked on my webpage for hours and hours. I've gotten a lot more done with it. I'd say I'm at like 60% perhaps. Later Nick and I made chicken quesadillas for dinner on the panini. They were very yummy, even though I essentially had the same thing for lunch earlier in the day lol. On Tuesday it snowed. Not just for a few hours, oh no. It snowed all day. I went to BSAD 191 and we went over the last case and had a little quiz. I came right afterward because I'm done with my Visual Basic project and therefore class as well. I had lunch and then began to work on my webpage project some more. I then went up for my Python class. I gave my presentation of my final project and it went smoothly. I then went with Nick to the Davis Center because I was suppose to have dinner with a bunch of sorority girls as well as our new adopt-a-cop guy, but he had to cancel last minute so I just walked home. Every time I've walked outside today the snow has blown right into my face, it's very annoying. So there isn't any snow on the sidewalks or street, but there's a definite dusting on the grass and cars and things like that. I came home and made some dinner. I worked on my project more and eventually watched some tv. 10:11PM

I started out with History and after there was no room for me to sit down to read as I always do in between classes. I found a different location and read a BSAD 191 case. Once I finished I went to the Atrium to see if they have cheese sticks. Unfortunately I find myself still looking for them lol. They didn't have any, but did have some chicken fingers. I decided to get some and they were delicious, or I was just really hungry. It was either that or some exciting crackers in my backpack. I went to Beer class and got some extra credit from the class before and did regular attendance check that day. I have to say there are so many hippies up here, we some how got on the topic of Raw Milk, which is essentially milk that hasn't been pasteurized, yuck. But it also extremely dangerous if the bad bacteria get in there. So yes, the extreme hippies like to drink this and were trying to defend it, but everyone else was like no, that's stupid, you could die, or lose a baby if you're pregnant. It's unbelievable what they eat and say sometimes. Anyway, so after class I came home and studied briefly for my CS 148 final. I went up to take that at 5:10 and thought it went pretty well. So now all I've got left to do is take 4 finals, 2 presentations, and 1 huge webpage project to do before I graduate. Not bad. After the exam I got to come home, yay! I cooked baked potatoes, but they weren't done enough since they were from the fridge. I didn't think we were having them so I hadn't taken them out. We also cooked some fish in the oven and watched tv that evening. 11:26PM

I got up around the regular time on Sunday and got ready to go to some grocery shopping. We went over to Price Chopper and the parking lot was totally packed, but somehow I found an incredibly close spot. We did our shopping and then came home. I went up to campus to get in my study hours and ended up covering someone's proctoring shift because they didn't feel like going. Pshh. Terrible. I didn't stay the whole time, because I said I couldn't, but was there long enough. The whole time I was there I worked on my webpage project and only got a single page done. But it's a very detailed page and is very important. I came home and then watched tv with Nick. I cooked a pizza and ate that. Eventually it was time for me to go back up for our sorority meeting. I did just that and found out the awards we won at Relay. Apparently we were in first place when the cut off donations occured, so we raised the most money, yay! We raised $5,225.01. The .01 was thanks to me, because, if it was a tie, I wanted to make sure we'd be in the lead, lol. We also got best costume, I think, because our shirts had a big question mark on it since we don't know who we will be absorbed by. I think that was it. Meeting ended on time and I came home around 10. I went to bed sometime after 11. 11:40PM

Big day Saturday! I first got up around 9 and got dressed. I had breakfast and then drove over to the bank to deposit some money. I went by Nick's bank for him. We came home, I grabbed laundry and went over to my favorite place. Laundry wasn't too bad, but it took nearly 2 hours all in all. After I got lunch at McDonalds and brought it home. I unpacked everything and ate my lunch while watching tv. I got all caught up on Desperate Housewives completely too. I finished a magazine and eventually got ready or Relay For Life. That's tonight and unlike last year where I had to be there for 12 hours, I only need to be there for a scheduled 4 hour shift. Yay. I packed up some snacks and jackets and then got into some warmer clothes. Nick dropped me at the location on campus and I waited for it to begin at 6pm. We took some pictures and then began some walking around the track. I walked a fair amount of the time, tried to do a lot since I wasn't being there for that long, and especially since it wasn't in the middle of the night. I still got tired and when it was time for me to go, I was happy. It was getting cold, in the 40s, so I guess I was lucky. Nick picked me up and before we left we went over to pet this baby cow, or as we say, moo katie. It was only like 30 days old lol and it was cute! Eventually we left and came home. I was tired just from those 4.5 hours that I just went to sleep. 11:36PM

Friday! I had History and we watched a new documentary called Eyes on the Prize about civil rights. After I did some reading in between classes. I went to Beer class and got my latest test back. I got an 87, yay. I came home a little early and ate the rest of the ravioli for lunch. I watched Project Runway from the night before and then relaxed for the rest of the day. I made mac and cheese for dinner. I watched many episodes of Desperate Housewives and I'm nearly caught up now. I went over to Eddy's, Amy's, etc's place with Nick for a little bit too. 11:13PM

Happy Birthday to Nick!! I tried to tell him at midnight, but we both fell asleep lol. I had BSAD 191 and turned in my last paper, yay! I then went to my Visual Basic lab and finished my final project. I submitted it as well, so I guess that means I don't need to go to that class for the rest of the semester, neat! I walked home with Nick and had some leftover ravioli for lunch. Later Nick and I went up briefly for the Python lab. We came home after a bit, since we're both done and then left to go out to eat for his birthday dinner. We drove out near Stowe and had dinner at a Pub called the Alchemist. I've been there once before, but there's this beer on tap that he loves so that's why we came. Dinner was ok, I wasn't too impressed. We finally left after a long time and came home. We watched some Thursday night tv and that was it! He was born at 9 so I gave him his present then, a glass to drink out of that he wanted. 11:09PM

In History, we continued to watch our movie Fog of War. After I did some reading in between classes. I went to Beer class and found out we'll be having our final exam in the format of a take home exam. Awesome! Originally it was planned that it would be on the very last day, a Friday, of exams. But as it turns out, the professors wife made some plans and he can't be there now. So that's cool. It wasn't an exam I was worried about or anything, but it's one less thing. After class I came home and made a grilled cheese sandwich and a poptart lol. I then worked more on my BSAD paper and finished it. I was the only person that went to the Python lab tonight haha. I finished my portfolio for good and submitted it. I came home, had dinner: ravioli. I watched the taped Dancing With the Stars and sadly Kate left. Nick came home from getting some beer downtown and we watched more stuff we had DVR-ed since Sunday for the rest of the night. 10:55PM

I started out with BSAD 191 and then went to a lab for Visual Basic. We began to work on our final project for the class. It's about setting up an interface to buy a cell phone plan and phone. Mine looks cool. I only set up the features, but will need to do the actual programming on Thursday. After class, Nick and I walked home. I then began to work on my last BSAD 191 paper, yay! The 4th and final one. I got about half way and then had to go up for Python class. One third of the class gave demonstrations/a presentation of their final portfolio. Nick went. It was good. I was keeping track of everyone's pieces before the professor decided to score us by setting a bell curve to how many points/effort we put in. Judging by yesterday, I should get an A lol. People pretty much only put in the minimum lol. After class I came home, dropped my things off and then drove up to campus. I had an Academic Banquet with the sorority, and since I didn't do anything drastic last semester, I got the fake award of Business Woman of the Year haha. Since I'm in the business school, and I'm the only one. After an hour, I came back home to have dinner and I also had an hour to kill. I drove back up for a Visions, this time it was on alcohol and the badness of it. We watched another video and were done when it finished up. I didn't leave again for the rest of the night. 10:44PM

I first has History so I turned in my paper and we watched a movie, or well started it. It's The Fog of War. We got about 45 minutes in and left once class was up. I then read a case for BSAD 191 that I need to soon write a paper for. I then went to Beer class and we talked about hard cider, interesting. I came home and still no news about graduate school, bleh. I had lunch, a grilled cheese, called home, and then did some homework before my three hour class later. We stayed the whole time too. I came home and Nick was making some shake n bake chicken. They were yummy and I watched tv for the rest of the night. These Monday's are just long days. 11:33PM

I woke up at 9 and then showered. I had some tea and then went with Nick to the grocery store. We were in and out fairly fast, and because we did the self check out because the lines were too long. We came home, unloaded and I waited until it was time for me to go up to campus. I drove up to the Davis Center to have standards board, but only one other person showed up. That's odd. So we begin texting and calling other people and finally, like one other person responds and says it was canceled. Oooo not cool. Can't believe no one told us and made us come up all this way for nothing. So we were a little angry, but left to go to the library. I had to proctor study hours anyway, so I went over and just started them ahead of time. That was good because some were even there early! I was at the library from 12:50-6. I only managed to survive that long because I worked on my webpage final project. I could not have read a book that long lol. I also reedited my History paper and added more to it. I accomplished a lot so I can't complain that much lol. I was however extremely happy to leave and left promptly at 6. I came home and made 2 grilled cheeses for dinner and watched tv with Nick. Oh, and earlier today when I was home we put in new light bulbs! A few had burnt out, but we finally got some new ones to replace them. And at a higher watt, so it's nice and bright in here again. I'm excited. Nick thinks it's too bright, but I told him that's how normal people live lol. Anyway, I drove back up to campus for our sorority meeting that night at 8:30. We had a round table and talked about all kinds of issues. We got out just after 11, yikes. I came home and pretty much just went to sleep. 11:29PM

I woke up around 9ish. I got dressed and had breakfast. I cut my bangs a little because we were goign to take our composite today for the sorority. And I haven't had a haircut in far too long, like since December/January. So I made my bangs have nice ends. I drove up at 12:40 and went to the Davis Center. There was a bit of a room issue so the photographer went to the wrong place. He then took forever to set up his stuff in the new, correct place. We finally got started just before 2. I was the fourth person to get their picture taken and I was not very pleased with it. He was just like rushing through it to make up for time lost. Oh well, what can you do. I drove home and Nick and I went out to lunch to Friendly's. It was so yummy. I got cheese sticks and popcorn chicken. Yum. After we went to Creative Habitat so that Nick could buy a picture frame for a new poster he got this morning. We then came home and I wrote my History paper. I finished just after 6 I believe. I watched some DVR-ed stuff and relaxed for the rest of the night with Nick. 11:15PM

I was headache free today, yay! It was raining, bleh. I walked up to campus with Nick since he had a class canceled earlier. I went to History and my friend Anna, gave me a flower she picked lol. That was nice, but I had to hang on to it for the rest of the day. After History I read some of that book in between classes, and then got a strange craving for cheese sticks. I went to the Atrium to see if they had some, but only one dish of onion rings instead. :( I came back to where I was sitting and read some more. I decided to check one more time before I went to class, but no such luck. No cheese sticks, and only 3 or 4 dishes of onion rings. I went to Beer class and we watched a video. I hadn't printed out the questions because it was for our Monday class that had been canceled. But I saw one person who had the questions and wrote down everything the video was saying as he wrote something down. Later I filled it out at home, and my strategy worked very well! So after Beer I came home in the rain. Nick decided he wanted to go to the DMV to get his license renewed. It was pouring when we got there. It was also packed. We waited for forty minutes and then when we were finally called to the desk, he didn't have all the proof of identity he needed. So Nick stormed out, lol, and we went to his house. We got some things, and dropped some other things off. It was still raining. We drove back home and I got gas. I saved a $1.10 on each of my gallons, for an overall savings of $15. And I only paid $24! Very good. We came home and I made dinner at like 4:30. I missed out on lunch since I went on the adventure with Nick. I made spaghetti and meatballs. It was yummy yummy. I played video games, watched some tv, read a magazine, and even worked on some homework. I also had an ice cream sundae. 11:31PM

I woke up at 7 today to get ready for a long day. Sadly I had a killer headache and felt bad. I walked up to the Davis Center at 9 and went to a little session at the conference they were having. It was Dismantling Rape Culture, and it counted as one of our required visions. So I went to this art session, and it was interesting. I left after an hour and a half and went to class, BSAD 191. We got out like 20-25 minutes early and that was so wonderful. My head was killing me and I felt awful and I feel like I really don't recall what happened in class. I also felt like the room was spinning. I went to the Davis Center to see Nick and relax for a little bit. I just like closed my eyes and relaxed. I would have gone home, but I have 2 tests/quizzes today, so I really couldn't skip class. I felt better after resting and we went to our Visual Basic class. I took the test and was out of there in 20 minutes. It was easy, I was satisfied with it. I then met Sophie for lunch at Brennan's. I was finally beginning to feel better. I had lunch, and I think that helped. We talked for a while, and that was nice. I haven't had lunch with her for a while. I came home before 3 and began to study for my other quiz I would have later. I walked up for Python, took that quiz and then went down to the lab to work on my portfolio. Nick has finished, so he went home. He also has to present a week before I do. So I worked on it, nearly finishing it. At 6:40 I went to Billings for a charity dinner we were hosting with a fraternity. We brought in the food and people came in. If you donated $3 you got to eat a lot. I did, so that was my dinner. I had a big chunk of barbecue chicken, some salad, and a gigantic piece of chocolate cake. It was good. We raised like over $200. I got permission to leave early and Nick picked me up and we drove home. I didn't do anything for the rest of the night and just watched tv for like an hour or so. 11:21PM

So today I woke up at 7:30 to finish my flash card I started the day before. I got almost it all done, but will need to bring my computer with me to finish it. I go to History class and then I get my chance after class to finish the note card. I go to Beer class and thought the exam went pretty well. I thought it would be hard, but it wasn't too bad. I came home, had leftover jambalaya for dinner, called mom, and then did some homework. I went back up for my Python lab. We didn't stay the entire 2 hours because our last assignment, a portfolio which we will present in front of the class, is practically done. Nick and I left after an hour and came home to make some pork chops. They were filling, but I also made brownies. Now I'm even more stuffed. Well I read some more, but now I'll probably relax for the rest of the night. 9:23PM

I had BSAD 191 first and we talked about a baseball case. I walked over to my Visual Basic class and we reviewed for our exam. We got out early, so Nick and I came home. I had a little turkey sandwich lunch and did some homework. I later went up for Python class. We came home on time and made dinner: jambalaya. It was yummy. I drove back up to camps to go to a visions requirement. Basically we have to go to certain seminars per year, about of them on different topics. And this one was on hazing. And they're typically crammed in at the end of the year. I've missed 2 so far because of class.So we watched a documentary for an hour and a half and then came home. I did some flashcard making for Beer and then watched tv with Nick for the rest of the night. 9:19PM

I had History first, and it's kind of chilly this week. It's going to be in the 50's mostly. Little cold! History was good, but I forgot to bring my copy of the notes that I use to copy everything done, but I was able to catch up with what was on the projector. My beer class had been canceled so I came home immediately after history. Awesome. I went to the bank to deposit a check I had received from the old sorority, a refund for our pin. I came home, had lunch - 2 pieces of bread for a turkey sandwich, and 2 more pieces of bread with butter on them. I was stuffed. I watched the Amazing Race as I ate. I then finished my Dear America book that's for History. Before I knew it, I had to go back up to campus for my 3 hour class. I thought we'd get out early tonight, but nope. I came home later, made mac and cheese. One of our burners has been on the fritz lately, but looks like it has finally given up completely. I'll turn it on high, and it doesn't get red or get that hot. I watched House and then some tv we had taped from the night before. 10:41PM

Sunday and I slept in until about 10. I finally got up and got dressed. We went to the grocery store. Once I got home, I got ready to go up to campus to the library to get in my study hours. I was there for four hours and 10 minutes. I need to make up 2 hours, but only could stand to stay there for an additional 10 minutes lol. I was getting anxious after being there that long lol. I came home and relaxed! I had read over 100 pages so that's good good. I had leftover pizza for dinner and went to Waterman for Big/Little reveal. It was fun and then we talked about what's going on with the extension process. I came home around 9:30 and watched some tv for the rest of the night. 10:37PM

I slept in until 9 which was nice. I got my day started and went with Nick to do some laundry. I went to the farther away place because I had a lot to do and I wanted it to be cheaper. We went to Big Lots and killed some time there. We got the stuff out of the dryer and got a little snack at McDonalds, mmmm! We came home and I drove up to campus for a visit to the Fleming Museum with the sorority to enlighten ourselves. It was good, not there for too long. I went over to the Davis Center to check out Tri Delta's denim drive. They had designer jeans at a reduced price, but I decided I still shouldn't buy anything just yet. I came home and watched tv/movies with Nick for the rest of the day. We made a pizza and watched the movie Blow and called it a night fairly early lol. 10:33PM

Woke up at the normal time today. I went to History and we had a long lecture. Once I got out, I went with this girl Anna, who I sit with and is in the sorority, over to the Davis Center to look at some sorority packets. They were fancy and neat. I left to check my email before class and went on to Beer class. We learned some new stuff and then got out on time. I came home in some rain. I did some reading and relaxed for the rest of the evening and had leftovers for dinner. 10:28PM

I woke up at 6:30 to get ready for class, but also to finish writing my paper. I did in time and went up for that class. I then went on to my next class Visual Basic lab. I completed that lab assignment/homework just before class ended. I came home and felt relieved to be done with most of my work for the week. I did some reading until my next class at 5:30. I worked more on my final portfolio project for Python and came home with Nick at 6:30. I made some pasta roni for dinner and ate it quickly. I drove up to campus for a sisterhood even thing. We made cupcakes and decorated them. I came home by 9:30 and watched some tv for the rest of the night. 10:23PM

Let me see I've been super busy this week that's why I'm so behind on blogging. More so than usual. I had History class and after I worked a tiny bit more on my website. I couldn't solve anything though. I then went to beer class and after I came home. I worked a little bit more on the thing, but submitted it before 3. I then began to write my paper for BSAD 191 that sadly, is due tomorrow. I got about half of it done before my class at 5:10. I had Python lab for two hours, and nearly finished my homework. I just have to submit it another day. I walked home with Nick, had a quick dinner of spaghetti and worked more on my paper. 10:19PM

Happy Birthday Aunt Sue! I went to BSAD 191 and we talking about new stuff. I then walked over for Visual Basic in the rain. Even though it was super warm this weekend, it has dropped to the 50's and rainy all week. Yuck. That class was good and I came home. I had lunch and worked more on my website. I have one issue left and it's google maps, as always. I work on it for the rest of the day and just can't figure it out, oh well. It's the only thing that's wrong. I later have my CS 21 class and we learn about "classes" which was kind of confusing. We came home, had chicken rice a roni for dinner and I went back to the website. I didn't watch tv so I could work on it, but still didn't fix my google maps issue. 10:20PM

I got up and went to History class. After I met with my Little, Rachel, to have lunch with her. We ate at the Atrium and I got a grilled cheese. We talked for an hour and then I went to Beer class. I came home and worked on my website more. I had a brief lunch and went back up to campus for office hours. I got some help, but didn't get as much accomplished as I hoped. I went to that class after and felt as though I still have a big chunk to complete and it's due Wednesday, great. We got out early and I saw Nick walking home at the exact same point so we walked together. We made panini's for dinner and leftover mashed potatoes. Yum. The packet deadline for extension was today and overall three came in, Kappa Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Delta Phi Epsilon. So we'll see what happens! I watched a tiny tiny amount of tv, but otherwise worked on my website for the rest of the night. 10:17PM

Happy Easter! After getting out of the shower, I had an Easter egg hunt. It was lots of fun. Nick hid 20 eggs for me. I then had tea and we went to the grocery store for our stuff. The place was pretty empty, as far as promotions and employees go. Probably because it's Easter, as a result, I didn't get my typical Sunday donut today :( We finished our shopping and left. I decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts to get my Sunday donut fix, but it was not as good. I knew that would happen, but I thought maybe this time it'd be different. We came home and I began my homework for the day. I did a lot more reading and worked on my website for CS 148. I've got another one due this week. I need some help at office hours, but feel as though I'm pretty close. In the middle of the day I had Nick go on a scavenger egg hunt lol. That was fun to watch too. I did not have a sorority meeting tonight so I got to relax, have dinner on time. We had ham and mashed potatoes. Very yummy. We watched a lot of Sunday tv too. 10:14PM

I slept in until about 9:30/10 and then got the day started. I had some tea and toast for breakfast and did a lot of reading. I did homework for most of the day. It also got just above 80 degrees yesterday and it was incredibly hot inside. I really had forgotten how brutal last summer was in the this apartment and we're going to go through it again. It's only bad because we don't have AC, but remember we found a free AC unit in August/September so hopefully it will help this summer. I only wonder what it will do to the electricity bill lol. So we were hot inside and made pizza for dinner. We watched some movies: Nell, Sweet Home Alabama, and Father of the Bride. That really was it! 11:02PM

After all of these colds months I tend to brace myself for a slap of cold after opening the front door. But today when I first went outside it was like 65 and that didn't happen! It was strange. I went up to campus for History and we watched a video the entire time. I read a history chapter in between and then went to beer class. Maybe 1/3, or even just 1/4, of the class was there. By now it was almost 80 degrees and no one came to class lol. So I got some extra credit for being there, yay! I walked home afterward and waved to Nick from a far distance lol. I came home, had a little lunch and then called mom. I did some homework and then joined Nick outside to sit on the front porch. Everyone I knew wanted to go to North Beach, but on this first really warm day, and the fact that it's a Friday, meant it would be totally packed and that's not fun. Not to mention, where would you park? We stayed at home. I cut and painted my toenails outside lol. We decided we'd go out to eat, for an early Easter dinner. We went to Roque's because it meant we could walk and enjoy being outside. We got fancy margarita drinks and mom, I will pay you back for that lol, I know the rules. It was good dinner and I brought home leftovers. We walked back home, and Church Street was incredibly crowded. You really wonder where all of these people came from lol. We came home and watched a little tv. Eventually went over to Amy, Eddy and Darby's place for a little bit and came home early. 10:59PM

No huge pranks were played on me today since it was April Fools. Nick tried about 20 in a span of 5 minutes lol. I had BSAD 191 and we had a quiz. Then I had Visual Basic lab and I did the whole assignment there. I came home with Nick and it was nice out. It's steadily getting warmer here. I did some homework and had lunch. I went back up for our Python lab. I stayed there for an hour and a half instead of the hour, because I was so close to completely a program, but needed to get home. I threw in some potatoes in the oven once I got home and baked them. Nick came home from a group project meeting and we used a panini press to make sandwiches. They were pretty good and the press worked nicely as well. We worked on homework afterward for a little bit and then just watched LA Ink at 10. 10:54PM
