Last day in Baton Rouge for me! Today I woke up around 8 and just got up. I did the usual and got dressed. I probably tried to do some packing, but I was to meet at Olive Garden with Amber and Jamie for a final visit. I showed up first and since it was busy, put in a request for a table. I sat down and finally Jamie showed up. Amber did at last too. We had a good time and became very very full. Afterwards I said goodbye to Amber in the parking lot and Jamie and I drove over to Target. We both had to do some shopping there! So she began her search and I went to get my mascara and brownie mix and vegetable oil. I met back up with her and said my goodbye to her. I checked out and then drove to the mall. I went in to Dillard's and on to MAC. I got some eyeshadow I needed very badly. I left soon after and came home. I was still very very full and was not in the mood for anything. So I sat down and worked on my laptop. The music is now up to date on both computers and it's ready to go! So I began to pull final things I think I need. I really have no idea. I can't remember what I came home with and what I want to bring back. I made some piles and I've got those packed up, but I really can't decide on the rest lol. So I was busy with that for pretty much for the rest of the day. But a little after 4 dad and I were to drop the dog off at the Jail place for her. lol. First we went to the bank and she got a biscuit which made her calm down lol. Then it was time to drop her off. At least she ate a full meal today, because she really doesn't eat a thing there. Poor puppy! Dad and I came home and I went back to work. We had dinner, I watched tv for an hour or two and then it was to finish up for the night. I had tons of stuff on my bed, so I had to at least clear that off to sleep in it lol. I filled up 3 suitcases completely, and under 50 lbs. Go me. And I've got my last one here to pack tomorrow after I wake up. I tried to start on toiletries things, but it's a little overwhelming and I'd like to just do it all in the morning. So I shall! If I can't fit the toiletry things, I'll have to put it in moms or something. That's all that I'm worried about. I didn't think I'd get done, but I guess I kinda am. If you look around my room there's still tons of stuff in it though haha. So what else is new! 10:05PM

I couldn't help it but I woke up at 7 today. So I got up and had my breakfast and took my shower. I got on the computer and once again kinda found random things to keep me busy throughout the day. I drew, I edited pictures from last night, I watched tv, and at one point went to Academy and Target to return some things with my mom. And we got dog food. Very exciting. I got to talk to Nick today. Maybe for 5 minutes, but yesterday I didn't at all really. I really can't wait to get back. I'm trying to update my computers now by making the files the same. Like make sure I have the same pictures on each, that type of thing. Well, my last minute packing, aka everything else! I have left for tomorrow. Oh and I got a haircut today. Wow, how'd I forget that? Today has felt like forever. It's alright. Shorter, but I like to style it myself. Tomorrow I will also have a final visit with Amber and Jamie. We're going to Olive Garden for lunch. I'm hungry for it now! 10:33PM

I woke up around 7 and was not feeling so fantastic. I really didn't do too much today. I took a bath and shower and kinda just wasted the day away. I had lunch and I watched tv. I decided my hair looked greasy so I took another shower lol. I got ready and looked nice and went off to Julie's house. Oh and I made her a card beforehand. So I drove over and got there a little early, but that's ok, Lauren was already there. And then Jessica showed up. That was nice, haven't seen her for a while. I think she stopped by LNT at one point when I was working there this year or holidays. Then lots of other showed up, some I didn't know. One apparently knew Grant from this year. So we had a really interesting and good conversation about him. Catching up and stuff. Jessica and I caught up and that was real good. Some cooked, but I was talking with those girls so we just decorated the cake lol. We ate around 7:30 I guess and had dessert and stuff. It was pretty nice and then we all payed a number of rounds of Spoons. The card game. I took a lot of pictures and we all just had a good time. I came home because I was tired and people were beginning to leave as well. Time for bed soon! 10:15PM

A very long day today! I woke up at 8:30 so I could get my bike ride in. Before I was walking out, Lexi ran up to me. She's never done that before so I decided to take her on a little walk. We went half way down the road when I saw some big dogs. I came home, but I think she had fun. I did the bike ride and got ready. The family and myself was to drive to Jamie's camp for the day. It was really nice. We got there and I went swimming with Jamie and Amber. We took a lot of pictures too. Had lunch and at one point it started raining. Amber and I helped Jamie pack up her car and when the rain ended, Jamie's dad took us out tubing. That was fun, but I'm really tired now. We ended up leaving a little after 5 and got home around 6. I just relaxed, watched Big Brother, and had dinner. Good day. Well, seems like I'll be going to bed somewhat shortly. 8:35PM

Ah my final day at work for this summer came today. And it was incredibly busy!! So crazy! But I got out super early at 3. People said, see you in a few months/for the holidays lol. It makes me feel good whether they were for real or not haha. I came home and didn't know what to do with myself. So I hovered around mom and that drove her crazy. But I got her to vacuum out my suitcases and I began to fill them. I got one big one about 95% full and another smaller one pretty full too. So that's some good work tonight! 10:01PM

Let's see. I was off today so I still got up somewhat early in order to go bike ride. I did pretty well. Ohh.. I just realized that I left my watch on my bike, hmm. Better remember for work! I did decent with the biking too. Around the same length of time. I showered afterwards and watched tv. I wasn't allowed on to my computer because dad was fixing my laptop. I didn't really watch one thing, but would flip between many shows. I was just bored and before I knew it, it was was 1:30. I felt like I wasted the day. But mom and I then left to do some shopping. We went to Academy. I was to look for some sneakers, but I didn't have very good luck. I wanted pretty much the exact type of shoe I already have, but I didn't find it. Go figure of course. We then went to the mall. Nick called as I was going in so I talked for a bit with him and that was nice. It seems like forever since I really have. After that mom and I went into Hollister and I got two pairs of pants a shirt. Then went to Victoria's Secret with no success. Then to Bebe and to Express. I found another 2 pairs of pants there. And for an awesome deal! We got $50 off. Very good indeed. I had to factor in me gaining more weight and them shrinking to determine which size to get lol. When we finished there it was after 7 so we called up dad to meet us for dinner. I saw someone I use to work with and dinner was fine. Came home and watched tv. I really love House Hunters. It's a very fun show on HGTV. Everyone should watch it. lol. But ahh hopefully Dean won't run into us here. I must get back to VT! But poor puppy will be stranded here and alone :( Right now, the direction all depends on a Low over Florida now. So more watching. 10:11PM

Woke up early once again for work. It went pretty swell, but I was tired and ready to go when I got out. I came home and the skies looked bad. I was afraid there would be another really bad storm. But luckily, it wasn't the case. I relaxed and got on the computer and watched tv. We had dinner and I watched Big Brother and then flipped between 3 shows after that. I've talked to Nick a little, but we really just haven't talked lately. He's been super busy and then does something every night. So I've been bored then lol. Oh well. 7 days left to go. I was worried that Hurricane Dean might mess things up and prevent me from leaving LA, but it looks like it could potentially miss us and go to Texas, but poor puppy has to stay behind in jail. 9:20PM

Well yesterday was a crazy day. I woke up at 8 in order to go bike riding early in the morning before it got too hot. I did 3 miles in 17 minutes. About the same as when I was doing it earlier in the summer. Then I ate breakfast and showered and stuff. I got jambalaya so I could have a lunch for work the next few days. I also went to see old high school friend Lauren at her house and Julie was there. Jessica was suppose to show up but didn't. We had a slip n slide in the back yard. It was pretty fun but I'm sore today. We took a lot of pictures too. After I began my way home, but uh oh the weather ahead didn't look too good. When I was about 5-6 minutes away from home on a normal day it would soon take double that. As soon as I enter the neighborhoods it starts blowing soo much. Apparently it was up to 60mph and sustained 40. Wow! And raining as hard as it could be. Lightning everywhere. I nearly turned around but I wanted to get home. I called to see if I was literally heading in to a tornado or something. So I'm getting closer and theres a huge tree branch/limb across the street, so I barrel through on the opening on the side and then something slams into my car. Luckily this tree limb hit my frame above the driver side because I really feel if I was going a hair faster or slower it would have cracked either my left window or windshield for sure. So I'm no longer calm now. I turn on to another road and as I'm about to pass this tall to tree, it gets struck my lightning! I've never been so close and actually seen it!! So I'm praying that I can just get home now! A porta potty was tipped over so were garbage cans and balls were in the street. Crazy! Finally I got home and ran inside. After it calmed down I went to look at my car. It got dented where that tree branch hit it. I mean, it was a good size, for what I saw of it happening. So that's wonderful. Dad and I drove around and we saw some damage to this one house. Crazy weather! So we also lost power around 6, right before I got home. I had a sad peanut butter sandwich for dinner and some snacks. We decided to hook up the generator to save our stuff in the fridge. That way we also watched Big Brother. When that was over I watched the traffic drive by out my window. ..yeah. And went to bed around 10. The power came on at 10:20 and went out again 3 minutes later. No! But it came on for good 20 minutes later. I woke up really early this morning for work. I went over and it was calm day except for a moments. But pretty good. I came home after and relaxed but I've had a headache since so I haven't been up to doing much of anything. I'm only staying up now to hopefully talk to Nick because I really haven't talked to him in a long time. Maybe a good amount since last Friday. Very sad. He's been really busy with RA stuff. Well, that's about it. 9:33PM

Woke up early for work today. It went very smoothly and no headaches today. After I clocked out I bought some nice towels for a good price. I'll be using them in my dorm this year. I intended to keep the towels I used last year, but these were so nice and matched my bed set. What I learned from last year, color is cool and it makes a dull room bright and cheerful. While I liked my set last year, a cream and forest green color. It just didn't look very lively. I also stocked up on the usual chocolate fest lol. I came home and was so very tired. I took an hour ish nap and woke up. I did some random things and had dinner. I finally got in the mood to pack a little. My goal was to fill one box. I began to wash my new towels. Hopefully they will turn ok.. haha. And now I'm washing one set of sheets that are bright pink. I'll be done with that tonight. I did fill one box and I also washed my unbreakable cups and plates. Oh and I got some of those smell nice packets for drawers from work too. I love that stuff! I've also created a pile of things to bring back to VT. It's tiny, which is good I guess. But I still have a ton of stuff that I'm leaving behind. Obviously because I don't need it, but I just have so much stuff. To my right there's a neat pile of school things from last semester. Oh I need my statistic stuff.. CDs and plenty of pictures that I don't know where else to put. Well. That's it and I better go check on my laundry now. I have to say, I miss the simple buttons and countdown on the ones at school though lol. 10:09PM

Woke up and did the usual. Went to work for the middle of the day. It wasn't too busy, but I had still had a lot to do. I got out on time and came home. I immediately changed and went out to eat with my parents at a tex mex place. It was alright. I had a salad and apple pie lol. We came home and I watched Big Brother and now we've ordered my books for school. 12 of them. Somehow, I think it might be less then last semester. About a bazillion for History and then a standard 1 or 2 for the other classes. Well, not surprisingly I have a headache and want to go to bed somewhat soon. I've got to wake up early anyway. 10:06PM

Well my first night in my new bed didn't go so well. At 3:19am I woke up with an awful charlie horse and I blame it on the fact that this bed positioned my foot in a different way since it's got like a pillow top and therefore it happened lol. But it hurt and I was not happy and could only sleep in one position for the rest of the night. At 7 I woke up and couldn't walk so I went out to mom in absolute agony for her to help me. I had breakfast and we put a ThermaCare pad thing on it. That was nice and I went back to sleep at 8 and woke up at 11. I had to get ready now for work. I did just that and when it was time I left. What a long night! My feet hurt, but luckily we got out of there pretty quickly. The hot air balloon festival is going on this weekend so at one point all of these balloons came up over the buildings. It was neat. And there were fireworks too. It was so so so hot today, and tomorrow it's suppose to be 100. I can't wait to leave this. 12 more days tomorrow! Nick actually gets to move in tomorrow since he's a cool RA. Woke up at a pretty good time today. I got ready to work and it was good. It seemed to last for a very long time, but it was good. After I went to McDonalds for dinner and came home to watch Big Brother. Those people constantly argue it seems. Then I watched some more tv. Now I'm about to supervise my parents putting together my bed since the mattresses arrived today. Should be interesting. 10:07PM

I constantly have very strange dreams. At leas Nick has a role in many of them lol. I had work early today. It was a long day but it went pretty well too. After I came home and did nothing. I snacked and later had dinner. I was just very tired. I'm nearly done with the updating process in iTunes. It's looking really good. Almost 2 weeks until I go back! I feel like I should start packing, but I don't want to yet lol. 9:36PM

Ah what a long day it was! I actually didn't know what to do with myself today. I got up around 9:30 and had breakfast and then went into the shower. I then wandered around the house for a while trying to figure out what to do lol. I decided to work a bit on my laptop. I still needed to fix some iTunes things on there so that's pretty much what I did all day. I got a lot done though! Around 1 I went to Wal-Mart and got 2 things and then to the Jambalaya Shoppe so I can have a decent lunch for work. I came home, ate some of it and went back to my computer. Nick called while I was out and Julie did too, but I missed her call. I called her back and we were to meet up, and with a few other girls to take pictures of them. The plans changed a few times, but at like 6:15 I was to meet them. Had to turn around and stuff, but finally got there. We went to some location and began taking pictures. These girls were in like dresses. And it's about a bazillion degrees outside. I know I was drenched in sweat! My batteries died too. I got home before Big Brother and so I watched that and did more iTunes things and talked to Nick. I'll be getting ready for bed after this because I've got another early and long day tomorrow. It'll be worth it at the end though. Night! 9:51PM

Nick woke me up with a phone call today. He wanted to let me know the water tower on capus had been painted and look amazing. Lol thank you very much. I got up after that and had breakfast. I then jumped into the shower and got ready. I finally got the reply email from my roommate. She seems pleasant enough, but we'll see how it all works out. I went in to work and it was pretty good. I did a number of things today that I don't normally do, so that was neat. I got Burger King after work since I worked up such an appetite and wow does that place still have issues. I asked for two 8 piece tenders and they gave me two 4 piece. I said I want more and so they try to ring me up for two 8 pieces again and I'm like no, I already paid for the first, let's do the 2nd only. So finally got it and went home. So now I've had dinner and am now relaxing at the computer. I have the day off tomorrow. Finally! I've been working these past 6 days! I don't know when I'll go to bed, but maybe I'll get ready and watch some HGTV for a while. 9:35PM

What a long day at work! Very busy again. After I came home and relaxed!! I needed to after all that. I talked to Nick and the parents brought home some food for me. I began watching Angels in the Outfield in the middle of it. Dad put it on and I use to watch it like all time. That's a sad movie! Good, but like made me sad too! I guess I'll go to sleep now too. My roommate still hasn't decided to talk to me yet. Mom thinks she doesn't know yet, but I mean come on! Aren't you checking your email because you want to know this sorta thing?? I knew about her since the 2nd now! 9:56PM

Hello. Another extremely busy day at work with the whole no 4% tax going on. It went pretty smoothly though. Just a very big constant flow of people. Afterwards I went to Wal-Mart and got some food. Not much, but I needed it for work. I came home and had my own dinner and snacked out. I talked to Nick for a bit and now I'll be going to bed kinda early to get as much sleep as possible. I'm pretty tired and have to wake up tomorrow at an early time. I can't believe I've got 2 more weeks of work. It seems like I wishing for the summer to finish up not that long ago. 9:36PM

Woke up early for work and it was quite a day. In Baton Rouge for today and tomorrow it's free sales tax. Or really, instead of having 9% it's 5%. So you don't really save that much. But that did not stop the people from coming out to the stores today. So it was busy! And when my working day was over I was to meet up with my mom and contribute to the buying lol. I went to Kadair's first, which happened to be the first time I could get to there was today, but I saved too. Shit no I didn't!! Damn. Oh well. I don't care that much. Only would have been 72 cents. And then I went to Burger King since I was starving. I met up with my mom at Kohl's. I actually didn't find much to try on and ended up getting only one thing. It was on sale and the tax deal, so I saved 12.20. My shirt was only 5.24! Oh yeah! lol. With full tax, t would be at 5.44. So see, not much. Afterwards, we drove home and went soon back out to get dinner. We went to an Italian place close to us. Last time, it was great and decent speed. Tonight it was horrible and we were there for two hours. Two! Most of it was waiting to order, get the food and pay. And they did the whole thing wrong! It was just awful. I don't really want to go back there. They gave us something free to snack on since it was taking so long, and we ended up getting charged for it! We got it straightened out, but come on! Well my Holga pictures looks great. I am really really pleased with them this time. I talked to Nick tonight too. 20 days! lol. And now I'm off to bed! 10:33PM

Let's see, I did the normal morning thing and then went to work. I got paid, very exciting indeed. After I was on my own for dinner and so I picked up Cane's. I wasn't in to doing much for the rest of the night because I had another fun headache. I did watch Big Brother and talked to Nick for some time. I also found out who my roommate is going to be today. I've looked her up and once again, was first to send out the first email to one another. So we'll see how we manage next year. Mom's watching her recorded show now so hopefully I'll get to bed somewhat early. I get my pictures tomorrow! 10:12PM

Well I woke up before 10 today and showered. I had breakfast and stayed online for quite some time. I didn't do much other then that. Before I went to work I made a stop at Kadair's and dropped off a roll of film from my trip with Nick. It should be a pretty good roll. I'm very excited about it. I can't, well I suppose I could get it tomorrow. But I'll definitely pick it up on Friday. Oh no, it wouldn't be ready in the morning. So Friday after work it is. After work tonight I was pretty hungry so I fixed myself a bowl of cheerios and now I'm watching American Inventor. 11:06PM
