Oh Gustav. Well, I now get to move in 2 days earlier than I was allowed to. So now, Friday. Because dad has to get home in order to prepare for the hurricane that's coming. It's weakened a little, but it'll cause some trouble one it gets into the Gulf. I did laundry today and did my packing. I talked to Nick all day and I can't wait to see him tomorrow. Mom went to Wal-Mart and they are already out of water and are running low on non-perishable items already. I'm sure Lowes and Home Depot are out of generator and low on wood and other things like that. And gas will go soon and New Orleans will probably evacuate. They can't afford to mess up again. Not much has been going on. Yesterday I watched Lexi. I didn't leave the house lol. I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 and talked to Nick a lot. Today I did a lot of the same. Except I got gas because Gustav is coming to attack and gas will go up and we'll run out. Mom got some jugs of water at Wal-Mart and Lexi is healing very very nicely. Slowly but surely. She keeps trying to escape from her basket. I made brownies and I watched Big Brother. Only 45 hours till I see Nick again! 11:15PM

Well I slept in till just after 8. A little bit better. It was rainy so the room was a bit darker and that helped. That's because Tropical Storm/Depression Fay was attacking us today. It rained all day. The pond flooded, but nothing serious. I watched Lexi for most of the day too. So I sat in the kitchen and then I brought in my laptop. She didn't want to eat today but once mom got home she put tiny dabs of peanut butter on each piece. Whatever it takes. I met Jamie and Amber at Olive Garden for dinner. We had fun. Our waitress sucked though. She forgot everything we ordered, we didn't have silverware and they forgot food items we asked for. And then when every table was getting a filled bowl of salad, we got only half. Disappointing. I got home and some chick was blocking my driveway. I honked at her 4 times, but she still didn't move. Real quick. Well I got up at 6 for work at 8. It was a pretty normal Saturday. At the end I said bye to people since it was my last day. I grabbed some food on the way home. Mom and dad were picking up Lexi from the far away vet. I talked to Nick on the phone, but then rested afterwards because I had another headache. Well, they finally got home and ooo poor puppy! She's all shaved and looks so sad and pathetic. The poor thing. Well we watched her the rest of the night and it sure took some effort. We have to carry her everywhere and trying to get her to go to the bathroom was quite a task. Hopefully she'll sleep through the night. 10:05PM

I am unable to sleep in anymore. I woke up around 7:30 but got up at 8. I showered but as I was in it, I remembered I didn't want to wash my hair. Oh well. That's because I was getting my haircut. Well I made breakfast and talked to Nick for a while. Then I went to get my haircut. I tried to get what I wanted but I don't want to mean lol. It's not too bad I guess. A little punky again, but when it's up it looks ok. I've got a week for it to grow out a tiny bit lol. I then went to the bank and then came home. I waited for mom to get ready so we could go do some errands. Dad got my car inspected, woot. First we stopped at Chick Fil A. I don't know why I wanted it, but I did. I haven't had it in years. It was tasty. Then we went to Kohl's because I thought I liked some shoes, but didn't once I saw them in person. Then we went back to Chick Fil A area to go to Petco. We needed a little play pen for Lexi to heal and live in. We got it but wasn't entirely satisfied so we decided to go to Petsmart, back where Kohl's is. We stopped at Target to see if they had anything though. Then we went to Petsmart and found the same thing for 50 bucks cheaper! So we got that and then drove back to Petco lol and returned the first thing. We finally came home and got some dinner later on. I played with some pictures in Photoshop tonight and then I watched tv. I'm going to bed pretty soon since I've got to get up early early for work. My last day! 10:09PM

I didn't really have much to report on yesterday. I just worked and it was fine. I came home and that was alright too lol. I watched Project Runway and that was quite fantastic. I forced mom to watch it too. Oh Lexi went to the far away vet yesterday too. Today I had work again and it was good too. People weren't too bad today. Lexi had surgery and she did good. Yay! But she'll stay there for a few more days. They did both back legs. Poor puppy, but she's getting some new legs for her birthday lol. We're going to buy her a little pin to live in for the next five weeks. We'll have to like fence her in in the kitchen. We could never close her off because she would be so bored and lonely and throw a fit the entire time. Five weeks, will be hard enough when she's still in the center of action. I came home and traffic wasn't too bad. I watched Big Brother and had to entertain myself since Nick wasn't online lol. We talked earlier on the phone though. And now I'm off tomorrow and I've got some errands to run! 10:36PM

I got up today at 8 and got ready for work. Traffic was fine and normal today. Good! Work was fine. I got blamed at for wasting water from the water sprinklers outside. And it was all my fault. I tried to explain that the mall has control over all the happenings in the parking lot from trash to sprinkler systems, but she wouldn't have it and went on to say that wasting water is illegal in California. I've traveled out west, I am very well aware about that. It didn't matter though because she refused to listen to me. I have no control over an automatic sprinkler system. People. Well work was fine though. I even stay an extra hour. Then I picked up some McDonald's on the way home. It was very rainy this evening which was nice. I got home and then went online. I talked to Nick and watched Big Brother. Lexi goes to the far away vet tomorrow and will have surgery either tomorrow or the next day. Poor puppy! 9:52PM

Ok I woke up at 6 today and was very tired for the rest of the day. I got ready for work and even left 5 minutes early. However it made no difference and I was stuck in horrible horrible traffic for 50 minutes. And I arrived 10 minutes late and that was my first time ever. It wasn't a big deal though. Work was fine, I did something different. I was tired. I came home and traffic finally was good. I had a snack and then took a nap. Then I made dinner for dad and I, a pizza. I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 and I also packed up 5 boxes to ship out tomorrow. Now I feel like I'm leaving in a few days, but I still have over a week left here! Also I'm stuck wearing my old clothes that I don't bring because everything else is all packed up. 10:23PM

I ended up staying up till 1 last night because I was watching Storm Chasers on the Discovery Channel. It was so good. I got up today around 9:30 and showered up. I had breakfast and then I kinda relaxed around. I then went to Marshall's to return that flatware I got yesterday. Then I went to the mall and went to Express. I got a shirt and clutch bag. I paid 39, it would have been 77. Not bad lol. I then went to Kohl's because I had a coupon but I only found one shirt I liked but I needed a larger size and they didn't have it. Oh well. I came home and had some lunch. Then I kinda did random things throughout the day. I was bored and Nick was helping Colin move in. I'm tired and have an early start tomorrow, so I'm off to bed. 10:24PM

I was up around 6 this morning and then I got back to sleep after an hour. Then I got up when I heard puppy trying to walk around. She should be resting! So I carried her outside and she didn't want to go to the bathroom, for a full day now. Brought her in and I made breakfast. Then she finally did, so don't worry lol. I showered and mom and I went to Marshall's. I was trying to match Nick's flatware that he had gotten, but they didn't have it. I got something, but I'll return it since I found something better. It was Cuisinart. Oh we also stopped at the Post Office. Then we went to Wal-Mart and I saw some people I knew. And then I got some Oneida flatware there. It's pretty nice. I'm happy with it. So I guess we'll use Nick's next year, it's only 20 pieces. And then we can switch, and still use both but have a completely full set of 43, for 8 people. It kinda drives me crazy though that they don't match, but he doesn't want to return it lol. We came home and had lunch. Then we went back out to Linens N Things. I returned something and then got an umbrella for mom as I turned in some things. Then we went to Sam's. I saw my archenemy and then mom insisted that she needed more Propel since they were out. So these workers had to get it from the top shelf and it was at the bottom of the stack that reached the ceiling. Yeah. A bit embarrassing. But after 20 minutes she got the other one lol. We came home and that was it. Had dinner, watched the Olympics. Good stuff on tonight. I talked to Nick a lot and that's about it. 10:54PM

It was very cloudy and ugly today. But it never rained. Oh, last night Lexi hurt herself very badly. She couldn't even walk. So mom took her in today and it turns out she has a torn ligament over her knee. Poor puppy! She's in so much pain and she'll need surgery once the swelling goes down. Poor poor puppy. We all took care of her today, like once I got home. And then we got dinner and I talked to Nick a lot with the video chat. I also watched the Olympics and I just remember I forgot to watch Say Yes to the Dress. 10:35PM

Lexi kept me up for an hour last night because she couldn't sleep with the rain and thunder. I got up today at 8 for work. Today I worked in the back and it was so peaceful. I needed that to like recharge lol. I got a lot done, the place looks so neat and clean now. I came home and traffic was great. Barely any really. I got home pretty quickly for rush hour. I then talked to Nick a little and we had dinner. I watched Project Runway and then some of the Olympics. Nick got some flatware tonight at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and he picked out some nice stuff! I'm so proud. Good job baby. 10:07PM

I was extremely tired when I woke up today. I couldn't shake it for a few hours. Work was fine though. Typical. I came home and talked to Nick. Mom brought home some Jambalaya and I watched Big Brother and more of the Olympics. I wanted to sell some of my books, but I figured out some can be brought back to my bookstore, so I'll do that at the end of the semester. Otherwise, I'll just donate it. And I gave up on reading Catch 22. I just didn't like it. I got like 100 pages in I guess, but I couldn't force myself to continue on. 9:52PM

I got up around 9 today. I got a pretty solid sleep since I went to bed early with a headache. I still had the headache when I woke up, but it went away later on. I made breakfast and then I decided to go to the mall to Express to get a price adjustment and then I'd go to the mens store and get Nick some things. This lady didn't want to take my coupons, I read right through her and she just played dumb. She knows what she can and cannot or doesn't want to do. I still saved, but I expected to pay around $35, but I did pay $59 and yet it could have been another $134. I got him 2 polos and 3 boxers. Yay. Very nice. I then came home and it rained and rained. I watched tv and then dad came home with some Popeyes for me. I'm watching the Olympics and then I talked to Nick on the phone and online today. Yay. Uh oh! Something is brewing in the Atlantic? But, will it have time to get here before I leave? I'm not sure. 10:10PM

I got up after 8 and then I went to the mall when I was ready. I shopped at Express since I had a whole bunch of coupons. I got $150 worth of stuff, but I only ended up paying $57. And they didn't charge me correctly on one time, so that'll be $5.50 cheaper! I was so excited about all the money I saved! That's four shirts I got for 50 bucks. Awesome. I came home, had some oatmeal and literally did nothing for the rest of the day lol. I watched tv and talked to Nick on and off. I'm about to go to bed though. I guess. 10:00PM

It rained pretty hard at one part during the night and poor Lexi got scared! But I got up today at 9 and then got ready for work. I did lots of stuff today. And it was a manager's birthday and we tricked her out of the building while others came in to set up. Then she came back and we surprised her! It was so good and nice. Fun too. I got home in the evening and then dad got us dinner. We ate and I watched the Opening Ceremonies. I like this part. I also got to video chat with Nick for an hour. 10:38PM

I had work yet again today. And I'm tired of people yelling at me for no apparent reason and taking it out on me since I'm the last person they deal with before leaving. It happens every single day. People complain how workers at all retail stores don't get much help and individual attention anymore, but what about how they treat the workers? They always think they are so high and mighty. I can't stand it and I get all flustered afterwards. I personally can't just move past it. I came home and traffic wasn't too bad for once. Mom got Outback for us and I watched Big Brother. I wrote a letter to Nick and now I'm going to bed. 9:29PM

Back to sleeping in till 8. Very nice. I was so tired. I worked again today and it was pretty fine. Busier than I expected for a Wednesday. I came home and traffic was bad going both ways today. In the morning and coming home. There was another accident in the way as the fire truck was blocking two lanes so we'd go around it. Looked bad. I got home and I did my laundry. Then I went to Wal-Mart in order to have a pizza tonight. Dad and I ate that and I watched Project Runway. I totally called the challenge to Nick lol. And I wrote him a letter, yay. I woke up at 5 today ahh. We did the truck and it was my first time and I am exhausted. I left at 2 and went to Pottery Barn to return some flatware. It kinda rained once I got home. I talked to Nick, did a tiny bit of cleaning, and did a little gluing with my car. And puppy got groomed today and she looks wonderful now! So cute! She had a little bow but she got it off lol. We had dinner and I watched Big Brother but now I'm looking forward to going to sleep. 9:15PM

Woke up early for work, at 6. I went to work and it went by pretty quickly. I was gong to return something at Pottery Barn but it looked like it was about to rain so I just went home. I had another headache, sinus. I later had dinner, watched John and Kate Plus 8 and talked to Nick! Today and yesterday was the Osheaga concert that I went to last year in Montreal. Oh that music festival was soo much fun. I wish it would have been later and not a month earlier like this year. Maybe next year? 9:35PM

I slept in till 10. Yay! It was so wonderful. I made breakfast and then I showered up. I worked on my model car but I talked to Nick all day and that was nice. I also decided to go through all the cards the Rachel sent to me back in 2000 and 2001. I read 250 of them and I'm almost done, lol, they go to about 285 or something. I'm keeping the good ones, but getting rid of these will give me another drawer to put things in. Which is always good. I made mac and cheese for lunch and then we had a frozen pizza for dinner. I think that'll be a regular thing since it saves money compared to going to get one. I watched Big Brother too. And uh oh! There is the strange named Edouard in the Gulf! Will it attack us? Maybe get little swip of it, but probably not too much. 10:02PM

So yesterday I couldn't log in for some reason. Yesterday I barely got any sleep cause I had such a horrible headache. I got up at 7:30 and took some medicine. I got ready and began to feel better. Then mom and I went to the mall. I got 2 pairs of jeans from Express and then a few undie and a sweatshirt at that new Aerie place. And finally we checked out the new Pottery Barn. I got some flatware but I'll return it. Then we drove to La Madeline's and they took forever to give me my food. I ate it in the car and we went to Wal-Mart and just got home before the rain. Then I talked to Nick and didn't do too much else for the day and night. Today I got up early and went to work for a very long time. It was busy. I came home and we had dinner. I was pretty tired for the rest of the night though. Nick and I tried watching a movie together online, but it was long, Jerry Maguire so we're just going to go to sleep now.
