It's a good thing I updated early yesterday too. Ended up talking on the phone from the time I got from from tennis until midnight, lol. :) Tennis was nice too though, got to hit off of a machine. And then the phone call was lovely. Today I went out to Wal-Mart to get mom some stuff since she wasn't feeling well. I picked up lunch too. I came home and took some pictures of myself for Mardi Gras, and I really like them. But I will not be posting them here. Sorry! Went out later to City Newstand and got the new American Photo magazine. Then mom wanted something from Satrbucks so I went there. I'm so nice. I came home and then I started to feel rather tired and just blah. So I hope to go to sleep soon tonight. After I wrap it up here. Which is now. 10:06PM

Did the usual of waking up and showering. In the afternoon I drove over to Payless to see if I could find some black converse shoes for hip hop. Which totally kicks ass because I've been wanting a pair for a very long time. I found some fake ones, but I wanted the real deal so I drove over to the mall. Went to Journeys and got these. I'm heart them and am wearing them now. lol. But they scream new, need to get dirty and faded you know? Quite comfortable too. The girl helping was very nice. Quote of the day. Asked me if I was ready for Mardi Gras, I said I could care less, lol she agreed. And asked about my shirt (a dance one), if I taught or danced there and said she had always wanted to. I left and got some lunch for myself and my mommy. La Madeline's, mmm, twas yummy. I brought that home and ate. And now I finally got to those pictures from Friday. You can find them here. Now I'm just waiting to go to tennis. I originally thought it was at 3:15, but luckily I texted Jamie and she said noo, from 4:30-6. Could have been bad. lol. Kate, you're rocking with these comments lately. I'm quite excited about seeing a 1 person lol. I don't know. I would think I would, but he's like an hour away which makes things difficult. That is the question of the hour for me. You see, if I think long enough about it I will, because that's usually how it works out to be. I am remaining hesitant though, because I mean I am leaving in 6 months. But that is 6 months, and still some amount of time. I think that is why I went to see ESOTSM too. For Elijah, but then I just fell in the love for the film, not for him. Yeah, give it another go. Some get confused of how it just flows as a story. Cause it's going backwards, but you'd probably catch more and might appreciate it more a second time through. 3:38PM

So!! Last night. I finished getting ready and drove over to pick an old friend up. How about some back story? So, the guy I picked up use to go to my school from grade 8 through some portion of grade 9, when he left during the school year and moved away, like an hour or so away. But away. We talked a fair amount in 9th and apparently a lot after he left. Well... turns out he liked me back then. So! I recently found him on myspace, few months ago and we've been wanting to meet back up for a night or so. Well, tonight was that night. anyway, so I picked him and drove over to Barnes & Noble and checked out the music section. Didn't stay for very long and ended up going back to my house, in the attempt of watching Wedding Crashers, but alas the dvd was being borrowed. So we watched Eternal Sunshine instead. Damn good movie. Then he wanted me to take his picture, so I did. And then we went outside and took some pictures like these. Then wanted me to try a manipulation, except with him. Did so and then it was time for him to go. Drove back to the apartment where he was staying. We had some issues getting through the gate. lol, I didn't pull up close enough and he got outside to scan the card, it opened but then it closed on me just like that. lol soo I backed back up and finally got it to work and went through the gate. We sat in the car for like .. er 30 - 40 minutes and then we said our goodbyes and then before I knew it, I was home. Had a lot on my mind. and now a major ;D to you all. lol. Think. Anyway, so I had a nice time last night and now let's see... today. Not much. Played around with the pictures from last night. Found some new music. Went out to eat dinner and oh wow, lots of good movies on tonight. Lots. Like, X2, Shawshank, Spider-Man, Robin Hood Men in tights, Swordfish, lots! Also, iPod has an iTrip that will play your music through a particular station and lately, I've been picking up on other people's music. On Friday I heard some Panic! at the Disco which was great and the yesterday I heard some Tom Jones. lol! Kate, thanks, it was careless, but I think it'll be okay. it's like my child, lol. thank you! I had to do the eyedrops again today, poor puppy still tries to not open her eye. I got some little squares and a cupcake. Not too much. oo! okay! I'm still thinking on something for you. Just so you know. 10:17PM

Updating now because I may not be able to later. I've posted everday so far in 2006 and I want to keep it up. So today, woke up, got dressed and went out to Gambino's. Tis a bakery. I got some goods there and because it was just pouring rain I went home. I was going to go to Kadair's to get chemicals and a pack of paper, but I didn't feel like driving through that and dad didn't want me to buy it yet. Although I just might later this week. I did pick up lunch though, and got soaked at the drive-thru lol. Came home and then did some speed cleaning. Basically, the spots you'd see dust, like glass and on wood. lol. I've also been taking care of Lexi all day. Gave her two pills at 8 this morning, and one set of eye drops. She's so bad and fights you the entire time. You're suppose to pull down the bottom eyelid, but she just won't let you. Then I woke up again and gave her another set of eyedrops at 9. Then went back to sleep and woke up at 11:30 lol. Been doing the first set of eyedrops every four hours, so at 12, 4, and then dad or mom will have to do it at 8. of shit, have to go, finish this later. 6:05PM

Had a much better day today. Good. In Calc we made a mobile, and what hung down were these spirals. My groups' mobile turned out fantastic. We have the country Cuba hanging in the center. Why you ask? Well, Ben asked for a shape out loud and was answered by Cuba (a poster of it was on the wall) So he set to do it, yet it didn't turn out too well. So Ryan made it and it looks awesome. I made some pretty spirals that Ben can't compete with. As I told him so. lol. Eng wasn't too bad. Stats, arg, we did work. No Photo today because we had pep rally today. Or crunk rally, if you will. It was alright. It had this Mardi Gras theme and they threw some beads which ended up being dangerous at times lol, but I got some at the end and wore them for the rest of the day. They also called out the bowling and tennis team, so I was recognized. Whoot. Sure... Hm. Had 10 extra minutes for lunch and went to Burger King. Amber came along. Since I had my camera today (thought some good stuff might happen since it's the last day), I told Jen to take pictures on the way back to school. She did a fine job. I'll post them tomorrow. We got back to school and we were joined by Skylar and Michael. Then I went to Astron, it sucked. 6th hour was spent making more matte boards. This time two for Rachel and then I fixed my picture that was almost ruined yesterday. By Amber actually. Mmm yeah. Anyway. In 7th we went to the study hall, so I just sat and listened to the iPod and texted Jen, but she wouldn't answer me. Alas. It was raining so I sat in my car after school and then got home and did some more Astron as usual. What else what else. So I have to take care of Lexi tomorrow. I hope I don't throw up looking at her eye. It's so nasty. Busy day though tomorrow. But yay! I'm now off from school for a whole week. Thank you Mardi Gras! So in a perfect world, I'd like to go to New Orleans for a parade or go to any parade and take some pictures. 11:13PM

February 23, 2006
Warning, this may not be the nicest of posts because I was angry for a good portion of the day. Okay, so my Calc test part 1 was fantastic yesterday, but today it completely sucked and put me in a bad mood. Ugh, okay, Photo. ... We have this approaching deadline for the gallery show and I'm still trying to get my stuff in order and because I have to be such a damn nice person I've got more than I need to do. So a few days ago Jamie told me that someone sprayed this glass cleaning stuff and it got on her pictures and hurt/ruined it, but she had to run to put it back in the water. So I've been very careful since. But!!! I'm trying to do a matte for Amber and Amber is over by my stuff cleaning some glass. I hear Tori say, hey you got it on someone's picture. ... Oh lord let it not be mine. I look over at Amber and she gives me this look like opps, sorry. ... WTF! I mean seriously that's just carelessness and could have been prevented. She's normally not even over in that direction. Ever. And of course she does end up there, spraying the glass instead of being smart and spraying the paper towel. Because if you did it that way, it wouldn't get everywhere and have the chance to potentially fucking ruin someone's hard effort to get a fucking print perfect. So I ran over to it and knocked on the door waiting for Bryan to open it up. I got in and threw it in the water because I swear if that thing gets worse than it is. I will beat the shit out of something. Last thing I feel like doing right now. So I scrub it and will come back. And Amber metioned that my picture, it belonging to me, was the worst one to get on (knowing that I would flip out). Somehow, by some grace, I didn't flip out. I don't know how. But I've been very angry since. I had to fix that photo because it had spots and it being wet, sets me a fucking day back. My last chance is tomorrow. So if it gets bent or stuck to another photo on it's drying off period I will scream. Omg, makes me furious. I had to clean my matte too and gahh. I came to the picture in 6th hour to check on it. It's alright. But! One edge is almost pealing up for some strange odd reason. Haven't seen that before, so, great. And it does look like it got stratched somehow so more spots to fix tomorrow. It's drying now, and I hope it's alright. So, still angry, I still made a fucking awesome matte board for her. Why? I have no clue. Doesn't even deserve it now. Should have just given it to Rachel who also asked me to do one also. Carelessness. Idiot. Anyway, soo that was basically my thought on the day. My mind was just going on and on about the picture. If it was alright. I came home. Lexi's eye is so gross looking. Eh. Yuck. It's just... gross. Poor thing. *still angry over incident* She just doesn't care about that class. Her camera isn't even a proper camera, and doesn't write down the info after making a print and then it comes out bad and has to do it again. You'd think she'd learn. AH 9:34PM

So I like this layout and all, but I need a new one. I have something in mind and shall work on it next week when I'm off. My morning classes were brutal because they were all so humid and muggy and sticky. It distracts me so. Do you guys have to deal with this too? Probably not at all. You lucky people. Had 5 people in the darkroom, so the more people the longer it takes to get stuff done. I had to redo the glass bottle one because my best is, of course, stuck to another. So I redid it today. Had a class meeting and yeahh. I'm distracted, watching tv. Where was I? schooollll. Hey, like ... 41 days until I graduate. I'm ready. So ready. Matted again in 6th. Left 7th early to go to bowling. I ended up in the practice lanes for the first 2 matches, but went to sit and watch half way through the first. I almost fell asleep because I was doing the classic nod of half awake half asleep lol. Then someone came up to me and said, hey you're going in. 'Huh? What? Alright. ... *bowls a strike* lol.. Well. Alright, I'll take that. Ended up getting a 125, didn't beat my person though. Ah well. Got stuck in some nasty traffic and stopped at Sonic. Got home around 6 and checked up on my puppy. Lexi has surgery today, on her eye. Poor thing. Dogs apparently have 3 eye lids, layers. And one is sutured shut. It looks very gross. Poor thing has to be in dark room for 5 days and has to have all of these eye drops and medicines. My puppy. How'd it happen? Well some people out there can't control their fucking dogs and let them roam the neighborhood. We don't have a back fence and they come in all the time when Lexi is outside. Which makes me adrenaline go way up as I have to rescue her. She's an Australian Terrier. And for some reason dad thought this chocolate lab might want to play with her. ...... NO! Never let her around any dog, they will kill her. Done and done. Come on! So that's where we all think she got the scratch from. That damn dog got too close. Where as I ran from my room because I heard her bark outside and mom said no dad's out there, watching. Shit, just bring her in. Ugh, and now this. So it's either that or maybe she was scratching and got her eye. And it's Wednesday, so headache day. I've got one. What's the deal? Wednesday is just the day for me to have headaches. 3 weeks now it's done this. Gar. 10:40PM

Early update tonight because I need to do some Calc and that's it I think. Anyway. In Photo I got one picture of mine for a gallery in a frame and ready to go. It's lovely. Went to Jambalaya Shoppe with Jen and Jessica, in her new car. It was exciting. Then in 6th, Tori printed this massive 11x14 or so, maybe larger, picture. It looked so professional, and it was so big!! lol. I got 2 more frames/pictures ready and now have only 3 left to do. We are suppose to have from 3-5, but I have 6 and really don't want to make a cut. lol. So our stuff will be displayed and then the person who owns the place will pick some number that will go to be judged elsewhere. It's exciting. We can also put a price on our work too. Awesome! Went to tennis today. I rocked and kicked much ass. But ahh, my back hurts now. My poor puppy won't open her left eye. She looks like she is hurting a lot. I tried to pry it open, not as harsh as that sounds, but to get near it anyway. She wouldn't have it. Keeps rubbing it though. Poor thing. Looks like she's going in now. 9:08PM

Soo, I had this Stats test today. It was a beast. I feel ready and then it slaps me in the face. Oh that class. Printed in 6th, I think my last 8x10 lol. Decided to not go to tennis because it was too cold for my tastes. And Jamie's too. lol. Went home and then later when to hip hop and omg, it was amazing tonight. Learned some new stuff and my partner is Jamie, and we do some crazy things! It was hilarious too. So we squat down to the floor, I go back up and and slides backwards on her butt under my legs that are now apart. I help her up as I fall to the ground and do some things down there and then wrap my leg around hers and we each do this snake move on a count off from each ot her. but oo it was so funny to do. and it's fun!! And I was tagged by the darling Kate. But first in my response to her, Kate, thank you! I'm decent, but still it's never perfect in my eyes. Thank you!!! Glad you like. :D I'm not entirely sure if I am down or not. Which might not make sense, but I don't know. I'm feeling pretty kick ass at this current moment and thanks, you make me smile. <3
Current time: 10:30pm
What are you wearing? these clothy grey pants I wore for dance, a red school shirt and my pink jacket. and sock and underwear lol.
Name something out of the ordinary on your desk: i have these two plastic circles that are made to go in a flashlight. they are extras, but i don't need them yet so they have been sitting there. for like 3-4 years lol.
Current favorite song: you can't be serious... choose something? Would You Come With Me - The Elected. and. He War - Cat Power.
Last thing consumed: just had some kiwi and strawberry propel, think I might get some more.
Last phone call you received: Mom cell.
Current annoyance: sure.. Stats lol. our effed up weather too. and having to wait to see if i got into any universities.
What are your plans for the day: well tomorrow: wake up, get ready, go to school, have lunch, finish school, maybe go to tennis, come home and go through my large list dailies, and then homework, and then dinner, and then a few more things, sleep!
Last movie you saw: Glory Road, in the theaters, only one I've seen so far this year. unbelievable. but, I watched some Eternal Sunshine last night. I would tag you Kate, because you're the only one who ever comments lol, but you've done it. So anyone out there reading this now. Do it for yourself even if you don't have a site. 10:35PM

Hm hm hm. I'm not sure of myself at this current. Guess we'll see what plays out over the next few days. I fixed a little bit on the picture of myself. The scanner alters the color of it. Makes some of the parts appear white because of its shinyness. Like my eyes/eyelashes. That area. I wish I had more to say, but I don't. Watched my classic 3 shows tonight. All lovely. Ah! As we were driving to lunch this past Friday, Bryan mentioned that the deer crossing sign actually has a purpose because one crossed his path one night! I saw another sign on a different road yesterday while I was driving home. I think that location has a great photo opportunity to it. If there was some fog, it'd be perfect. 10:47PM

Woke up and such and went out to Jay's to buy a king cake. Stuck it in the car and went to Kadair's. It was raining the whole time so my car hopefully had all the shit on it washed off. Hopefully. Anyway, at Kadair's I got some 5x7 protector sheets. Came home and organized my binder. Looks a whole lot better now. Had lunch and then I'm not sure. I took some pictures of myself. Maybe will post those in some minutes after this post. But the idea was to take on of those image and to do a self portrait, pencil style. Here's how it went. And here are the pictures I could choose from. That was my day. Oh, Winter Formal happened tonight. I didn't go clearly. Didn't really care to. And not many were going. And my head hurts. lol. 10:53PM

We played Scrabble in Stats today. It was wonderful. I won the first game with an amazing score of 160. whoot! Instead of Photo, the ring ceremony was happening. It was funny at times, but ours was better. lol. Got to lunch earlier. Jessica went with Jen to pick up lunch they ordered from George's and I drove myself, Lauren, Julie, and Bryan to Wendy's. The other two eventually met us there. Got back to school and did my usual in Astron. I made up for the missed 4th hour printing session in 6th and printed 3 different 8x10s. I like them a lot. Yay! I got to 7th, and well I was on the only one there. Only 3 people in the class, one left because they are a junior (ring ceremony) and the other just was absent. So I checked out. Not before retreiving Julie's purse from my car and getting doubted by Jamie that I could check out. But I could, muwhahaa. Without any problems. Excellent. I came home. I finished up Astron and then tonight I went outside and did what else but take awesome pictures. I'm serious. They are cool. And of course you can check them out here. 11:43PM

I spoke too soon and now the weather sucks being all hot and humid again. A high of almost 80º today. Yuck. Surprise surpise, I printed again in Photo. Had 3 other people in the room which slows me down, but still got 2 things done. Went to Sonic and ate with Lauren, Jessica, and Julie. And of course my lunch partner Jen was there too. Had the darkroom to myself in 6th and did more. I couldn't go to tennis today because I just had (and still have) way too much work to do. Still trying to work through the beast of a subject: Astronomy. Random astron fact for you today: There are some stars many many light years away that are the size of our galaxy. Whoaaa. I know. Insane. Have to get back to it now. 9:32PM

Dressed to impress today for Calc as we had a presentation. I think my group which included Bryan, Evan, and myself did a wonderful job. Sure some of our stuff was unanswered, heh, but I think we'll turn out alright. I changed out of my black pants before 2nd hour and ... I forgot a belt for my pants. I was in agony the rest of the day. I must have 3-4 inches of extra fabric around my waist and it was soo annoying. I had to hold them up sitting and standing. It was such a pain. I can't believe that. I should just keep a belt in my car now because of that. It was terrible. Printed in Photo. Went out to lunch but came back with Jen so she could study for her math. I swear, some people are just rather annoying in Astron some days. They were just laughing, it would break in and then stop. It must have gone on for like 30 minutes. I tried turning the iPod up, but no still heard it. Printed 2 more pictures in 6th but had to leave early because I had to change for a match that I wouldn't play in. Got on the bus and sat next to Jamie again and we arrived. We were way there and I feared for traffic on the journey back. lol. It's Wednesday which also means it's time for my weekly headache. Ouch. I think it might had something to do with the bus, being on it or something. Who knows. It hurt. The wind was also blowing the entire time, annoying. My ass hurts from sitting on the concrete for 2 and a half hours. Man, this blog is just a bunch of bitching and complaining. I apologize. So like I said I was worried about the traffic but somehow it wasn't that bad. It was amazing. I got back to school maybe around 6:15 and got gas because I had no other choice lol. Came home and tried to do work while having the said headache along with watching Lost and Project Runway. Which by the way, I'm glad the final 3 for PR turned out as they did. That's who I wanted from the beginning. Oh yeah, and got a Valentinie card / paper from Bryan today because 'I've been evading him' lol. So 3 this year. I can live with that nunber. 10:44PM

Right quick. Or attempting to. Woke up early today because I forgot to do 2 things last night. Turns out I only did 1, of course. Got to school, wearing my new kick ass Threadless shirt!!! Which is red and turns out well. Calc was fine in the computer lab. During Eng, the power went out again and was wonderful. Hoping maybe there would be the chance for us to go home. Slim chance, but hoped. Power came back on by the end of class. pshh. Left 4th hour early to help set up for the NHS bake sale, but it was already done, so I sat with our main lady in charge and at one point got napkins out of the library. Someone took my job and I went out to Burger King quickly to get some lunch, came back to the sale and ate there. Printed 4!!!! pictures in Study Hall. That's quite a feat people. It is. In about 45 minutes. Yes it is. lol. I had tennis after school and I'm happy to say that it went reasonably well. I did better than the last time. I then hmm, yeah, came home and oh right. I fell asleep on the ground. I'm just so tired again lately. Well, past 2 days, anyway. Woke up, later than I even wanted to begin with and went to work on homework that I had been putting off and now the deadline was tomorrow. I've decided an hour ago that math hates me and likes to kick my ass everyday. lol. I'm just bitter because it is Valentine's Day. Happy VDay to all of you out there. All in all, Julie and Rachel gave me a little card and it made my happy. lol. Got lots of candy at various times of the day. What I really wanted to do was watch Eternal Sunshine, but I've run out of time. But dammit I don't care and will watch it anyway. Most I hope. Have it playing now, they are meeting on the train/subway. What else, what else. Looks like I'm staying up to 12 again tonight. Yay. 10:23PM

I love the current weather. It's just so cold and wonderful. I printed in Photo today and proved to have many issues with my roll of film. Turns out I have to have a very strange (well different from what I normally use) aperature. Had to be exposed a lot. Which does get annoying. Tori was having issues too, so she left lol. We both came back to the darkroom at 6th and printed with less issues. Yay! I got 2 pictures done. More to come I'm sure. Left school early to go to bowling. I was put on the practice lanes and while I was bowling (with Julie too, whoot) my foot did a funny thing and buckled out on me twice. Great. So went to the coach and said, yeahhh no chance in hell for me to be able to bowl. So I just sat with Julie, as she didn't have her uniform to play. I left early and went to dance. But I couldn't dance since I hurt, so I stood there in place and would attempt a few things, but I sucked basically lol. Got dinner and came home. Just finished watching 24. I would like to take something for Valentine's Day tomorrow (a photo that is), but I have no idea. Well, I mean I have a few, but er not sure what I could do. I added a new section to the Me section of the site. Not that interesting, but a little tidbit. I also got my new Threadless t-shirt in the mail today. I'm wearing it tomorrow. I'm excited. Jack's Mannequin is playing tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, I want everyone to either watch it or tape it TiVo it. Just catch it!! Kate, it's a fantastic show! I love Lost too, but lately Grey's Anatomy has captured my interest more. Oh, it is soo still disgusting. In Astronomy (only 7 people in there including the teacher watcher overer, lol) And ... maybe 3-4 were coughing and sneezing the entire time. Not to mention that the classroom is the size of a closest. I wanted a mask. lol. Everyone there is coughing up a lung constantly. It's just gross. I'm doing my best to resist from touching my eyes. 9:15PM

Not a bad day at all today. At 2 I went to school to see the final production of the Music Man. I thought they did another good job too. Better today than the other day. It's sad even for me to see it come to an end. Talked even longer afterwards with many people. Finally left and came back home and did some work. Also, might I add, Grey's Anatomy was incredible tonight!! I cried, I lauged, I was scared. I absolutely love that show. At first I thought the theme was going to be with life (the baby being born) comes death (husband, bomb guy or Meredith would die, or even someone else, who knew!) Thought they then made a clean sweep and everything would be okay, but no!! The bomb went off and those bomb squad guys died. I think it was a good move for that to happen. Good good show. Now, I'm hitting up Celebrity Fit Club, right on par. ...lmao. No. Let me check to see what the severe weather we're under tonight. Whoa! None! Coldest night tonight and nothing! Ah New Orleans is though. Can't see what it says though. Ah well. I've also just listened to the song Build Me Up Buttercup and I know I've heard that song play after a movie or tv show, but I can't remember. Can any of you out there recall where it's from? It would be at the direct end, where there are credits rolling. 10:51PM

I didn't they would turn out as well as they did because the subject just bores me. I'm really pleased. Won't keep you waiting so here is the link. Hope you like. Hello there. Worked with M&Ms again today in Stats, proved to be yummy. Ah, it was rather rainy today. Not bad though at all. Just, I stepped in this rather large puddle and my pants took the rest of the day to finally dry out. lol. Study Hall was fantastic and hilarious. I helped Tori print and well, lots of laughs took place. At one point one her iPod's ear plug fell into the developer. ... lol wtf. But it did and still continued to work! I said the quote of the day. So these pictures can't exactly dry at school because of the subject matter so the goal was to get it to her car. But how? Well, we got some boards and carried them above everyone's heads and turns out tnow that the fix was bad so they are going to change colors and be ruined. It's a shame, loss of time and effort. I arrived to 7th hour almost 20 minutes late, heh, it was alright though. I made one stop before I came home and then let's see. Well, the Olympics started again. It was a nice ceremony. Had some neat moments, but I've seen better, sorry. Watching things like this makes me want to be a part of something that big. Made me really want to be there and perform in front of all of those people. Even watching it live would be cool. 11:15PM

You know, I'm kind of irritated with that fact that Valentine's Day is coming up. I just... am. lol. Really. But today was fine. Let's see. Oo right, had an M&M project in Stats. That was nice and delicious lol. I checked out yet again at I left for lunch. I picked up some Burger King and came home. Ate and then went out, followed mom to my doctor. It was a nice and quick visit. She went her way and I went to Kadair's and finally dropped off my roll of film. Getting it processed since I don't want to do it and they are going to put the pictures on a CD. Hope this all turns out okay and they don't scratch my negatives. I will be pissed if it happens. Whoa. Yeah. I came home and then took a short nap and worked on Astron found out some more interesting facts on the Sun. (slightly sarcastic/slight serious) Waited and waited for The Office to come on. Switched over to it at 8:30 and loved it as usual. Such a good show. Kate, thanks, it's grossing me out. Thank you for the comment on the new layout! :D 9:52PM

So there is a whole bunch of crap going around school these. Lots of flu, mono apparently, and then maybe even pink eye. As I know someone who has it. In both eyes. Poor thing. They just had it too, last year I guess, but still. Again? Woo. So I've become fairly anal by not wanting to touch things. So in Calc we went to the little computer lab where I also have Astron class. A guy sat at my computer. He's sick. He was coughing and sniffing, and I cringed at the thought that I would use that computer later. Really really would like to stay healthy during this 'season' of sickness going around. Went to a younger kid art class today because our Photo teacher wasn't there for the first few minutes, but we ended up staying. Brought me back to my art class days, lol. Anyway. Came home for lunch. Left 6th early to change, psh, for tennis and I felt prety stupid being the only one not in uniform. BS. BS. We get on the bus, I sit with Jamie, we look at pictures. We arrive, I watch people play and take pictures with Jamie's and mine own camera. But I stop because my head was hurting. It never seems to end. Jamie finally finishes and we walk around a bit, but go back to sitting down. We're pretty hungry and see the other team has food just on top of the picnic table. No one is around so Jamie hovers near to scope it out. lol. She takes a sandwich smoothly and then I later go get some too. lol. It was okay. Because the food had been offered to the other team for a long time now and no one else were coming to get it. So yeah, lol. It was funny. We load back up on the bus finally and we go back. But crap, we passed our exit. And then the next most logical one to take. And we keep going, and wtf is going on?? He can't possibly be thinking of going to the 10-12 split and getting stuck in parking lot esque traffic can he??? Well. That's exactly what we did. I'm not sure why, but it made me angry because one, these kids can be loud and obnoxious and two, my head was hurting dammit and that was the last place I wanted to be. You have to understand but this was completely out of the wayyy. Gah. I just wanted to go home. I finally get home at 6:30 and I'm done for the day. I lay down and watch tv and almost fall asleep a few times. Have dinner and try to watch Lost and Project Runway. I did, but ah, distraction. So now I'm going to go to sleep now. 11:40PM

(later) So yeah, new layout. I have to say that I am completely attracted to the two main guys in the video. The singer, and then the groom. Whoa. lol. Whoa. I'm not sure why, but the video ended and I had to replay it again. Who knows, maybe it's the eyes or attitude or even the eyeliner. I'm not sure. But whoa. *stares at the pictures on the layout* I do love dark hair, I do know that. Always works out that way. Anyway! It's a great video, so I suggest you check it out. I'll get you a link since you probably wouldn't search it for yourself. Here. Right. So I forgot to mention yesterday that I took a spin out on my new contacts yesterday. A new pair. Normally I can see the difference, but ah no, not this time. They are stronger, but I can't really tell the difference. The only difference I do see, is that the right one has a black dot on it, marking it's right. So once it rubs off, I can't mix it up, lol. Although one time they were in the wrong eye and it made me soo dizzy. Wasn't sure why my vision was all messed up, but ah hah, that was it! It was also really windy last night which made it wonderfully cool today. Lovely. Ate with a big group at lunch today. Oh, our power went out during 7th hour today too. It was nice, in a different sort of way. Out of routine is what I mean. When it did come back on, a lot of classes turned their lights out again, lol. So did we. Jamie was without a car so I brought her to the car place after school. Dropped her off and I came home. That's it so far, and I imagine that will be it for today. 6:41PM

Watched Hal Sparks this morning on Good Morning America. That was lovely. I know, if the person is still visiting: I know I've yet to make that wallpaper. I'm trying to think what happened today, but nothing is coming up. Darnnn. Hm. I think the music I'm playing is distracting me lol. I can't help but sing with it. Happens a lot. Okay. Left school early to go to bowling. I kicked major ass today by scoring a 140. Hellz yeah. But then, I was kept in because hello, good score, and then got an 88. ... lmao. That's terrible. The coach wouldn't let me leave early *angry* so I was frickin late for dance. Oh, I was angry and then some jackass pulls out into my lane I'm trying to hurry down, so I have to pass him. Oh Louisisana drivers!! I did get to dance and jumped in and tried to catch up. I leave and go pick up dinner, but this place takes forever. Forever = 30 minutes tonight. Stupid. Finally get home at 7! Man! Eat, watch 24 eventually, and omg, worked in Photoshop and I heart what I did soo soo much. I'd like to show it tomorrow. Hopefully. Going to work on it a little bit more now. 10:36PM

Woke up a little bit later than what I would have liked, but ah well. Got in the shower and once I was ready I went over to the Bluebonnet Park / Swamp area and walked up to the place and paid my $2 and then walked along the trail taking pictures of Louisiana-ness. I was there 3 years ago doing the same thing and I found this tree I took a picture of then and so I did the same again. I could tell the difference and once I get the actual new picture, I'll compare them for you. I could see a difference in it. So I left once my roll was finished and went to drop it off since I don't feel like processing it. But the place was closed so I made a quick u-turn and came back towards home. Got lunch first though, lol, even though it was almost 3. Came home, worked, watched the Super Bowl for the commercials only and did lots of Astronomy again. Finally Grey's Anatomy and it was just brilliant. Excellent idea all the way through. Kudos to the writers for thinking up this one. I'm amazed. Love that show. Kate, it is true. Scary. Ah crap, forgot to watch it. It was a film on the flight that crashed in the Pennsylvania field. It was touching. Me too, me too. I know that day soo well. I made sure I would remember it too. I was only in 8th grade then, but it feels like yesterday. Thank you, those two are some of my favorites. lol thanks. 10:39PM

Slow day today. I couldn't remember where this location was where I wanted to go take pictures and my dad got home too late (as in the sun was casting a bad shadow) so I'll go tomorrow. Plus, I know where it is now. ...For the most part, lol. I did watch that A&E movie Flight 93. That was sad. Whoa. Sad. But good. Sad, watch it, noon tomorrow (check your local listings) I missed the first 30 minutes or so, so I'll try to pick that up tomorrow. We're also coming up on the 5 year 9.11 anniversary, hard to believe. Even still. Because I mean, I was in those buildings just 15 months earlier. I'm still amazed. And the sun shall die out and explode and turn the Earth into ashes in... a billion and a half (ish) years. Sure I won't be around, but I still find that depressing. Going to watch Steve Martin tonight on SNL, I hope he can made it good. As he is teh awesome. Babette, oh yes :) 10:11PM

I could not move very well today. My legs were so stiff from running yesterday arg ouch. And what do you know, I was there for a whole day today too. I printed in Photo, felt great to be back in the darkroom actually. I haven't been in there for a very long time and I swear there were some new things placed in there because I kept tripping on them. I know that room well in the dark. So I printed one picture and then it was time to go to lunch. I went back in the darkroom during Study Hall and tried one print, but the negative really was bad like I expected. So I moved on to another picture. Got 2 out of that and went to my final picture. Got 2, maybe 3, hm, out of that one and cleaned up. After school I changed for tennis and talked with Jen. Went to tennis and completely sucked at my serves, but my group had a good time. Or at least I think, they were laughing at me, or with, whatever, probably at. Especially when, lmao, I was trying to serve, but I missed the ball and it instead bounced off my head. I then, naturally, fell to the ground with laughter. It was too perfect ahaha. Was told it looked planned, awesome then! I left early and came home. Showered and went to school with mom to see our school's production of Music Man. You know, it was better than I expected. Before, during, and one again afterwards I said hello to people and told them good job: some younger kids, Rachel, Matt, Amber, Jen, and others, and oh yes Adam too, and yeah. It was just a sea of people out in the lobby. We managed to get outside and picked up some dinner at Burger King. Now here I am. The plan was to wake up tomorrow and go running, but I really don't want to, plus I'm stiff, soo looks like a no. What I would like to do is go take pictures. I can't decide if it should be film or digital or maybe even bring both cameras. Although I would like to keep track of only one. 11:45PM

February 2, 2006
Another wonderful day at school: (no, no sarcasm there): Went to my 3 AP classes and checked out! No I was not ill or complaining about one thing or another, but I checked out to come home. I had lunch. I studied for World Geo. Then drove to LSU to take my World Geography correspondence final. I parked, got my parking pass for the day. Went inside and took the test. Went well and I came home. Got gas first though. I, lol okay, I came home and changed and went out for my 3 mile run. OMG It was sooo hot out there. 80º and there are what, 6 more weeks of winter? I haven't even had winter yet this year. The. temperature. was. brutal. Brutal. So I did this: (Turns out, I'm very very out of shape) Walk 5 minutes, run 5 minutes, walk 5.5 min, run 4.5, walk 6 min, run 4, walk 6.5 min, run 3.5, walk 7, run 3. And it was on the three that I finally made it back home. lol, soo bad. So the total time it took me is 47.02 minutes. haha, woww. I said I use to get 35 or so, but I actually think I've gotten 33. That's when I had loads of energy of course. So I drank 2 glasses of water and turns out I sweated out 2 lbs worh of fluid. Grosss. But I'll take it. I was going to give up on one of the running times and walk, but some guys drove by and shouted so.. gave me some inspiration and motivation to keep going. Ahaha. That's always nice. Even if I'm dripping with sweat. It was so hot, I can't make that clear enough I guess. So I was just exhausted after this thing and took a nap for just less than an hour. I am completely done in now too. I feel so drained. Oh well, I shall continue this. Next chance I get is Saturday and will have to do it in the morning. Not when the sun is brutal. But oh, last night was terrifying. I was watching some late shows at 11, and this odd looking icon pops up on the screen. I couldn't make it out, so I sat up and saw there was a tornado watch going on. ... omgomgomg. So I go to channel 18, our local weather channel and this huge band is making its way towards me. A bunch of scary colors going from green, to yellow, to red, to even purple. Purple = worst. It's bad enough during the day, but at night, omg, hell. So I attempt to get some sleep and end up waking up at 12, 1, and finally again at 2 to check this thing out. Not much rain, but the lightening, and thunder, and the wind, was terrible. I was scared out of my mind. I hate it. Turns out the New Orleans airport got hit by a tornado (an hour away, but still!), that caused worse damage than the damage received by Katrina. ..wow then. That was not fun. But The Office was amazing tonight as usual. Love love love that show. 10:17PM

February 1, 2006
First off: Happy Birthday Forever-Veiled.net!!! It has been open for TWO years now! That's pretty exciting! I hope to keep it going for a long time. Yet, Scanned has also officially closed now. For good. I'm bracing myself for all of the error logs. lol. And a huge decrease in visits, pageviews, and bandwidth. Should be interesting. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the original pictures, I have them in a nice pile and then I have the ones that were waiting to be scanned. Oh well! Today now: So my headached last all the way through the night and into the morning. It was okay, hurt a lot, but felt like I could go to school. Half way during 1st hour I was just in agony. I had to hold my head, etc. Went to 2nd hour to tell my teacher I was checking out, and I just couldn't keep it in anymore and practically started crying. Practically because tears weren't going down my face, I caught them, heh. I hate it when the happens: I try to explain what's wrong, but get all choked up. Told someone to get notes for me in Stats, I'm worried the most about missing that. I went to the office and saw the nurse and I couldn't get in contact with anyone. My mom had a class, and my dad couldn't be reached at work, so we called my emergency contact, and got permission. lol, I just wanted to leave! I finally got to and arrived at home around 9:30, and slept for about 3.5 hours, I got 5 damn phone calls. 2 checking up, but the other 3, grr. It's 98% gone now, very very happy with that. But I missed out on the first tennis match. Wouldn't have played, but was planning on sitting with Jamie on the bus and watching. I'm not so sure I could have made it through. And they were taking the bus so now way on me just being able to leave on my own. 6:26PM
