I am in on a Friday night bored out of my mind and my roommate just walked in. Ugh! I was suppose to be alone! Ugh. Well last night, thanks to medicine, I finally slept really well. Little drooling and a pretty much solid night's sleep. I got up, easily again, and got ready for classes. I had Renaissance. We met at Flemming Museum and walked up and down stairs. It was ok, made the class go by quickly, and we got out late so I had to rush to India. Well not rush, but get there as fast as I could manage. It was ok there. Went by fast enough. I went back to my dorm and got relaxed a bit. After some time I went to get lunch at Alice's, just a bagel. I came back and ate. I decided to go with Alison on a few errands around campus, and we drove. Whoot. And we came back quickly and I did some note copying from her. It was grand. I went over to Nick's at 4 and we watched Nip/Tuck and I played Wii and we had a good time! I wasn't too sick so we could finally enjoy each other. I left after 9 and came back to my room. I got a pizza and I began to watch some tv online. Then frickin Mir Mir came in. Ugh I'm ready for this dorm-living-year to be done with. 11:02PM

So real good reason why I didn't blog. I was extremely sick for the past two days. And now I shall get you up to speed. The Monday night I had a sore throat and then it grew into body aches and chills. The next morning I couldn't even sit up right. It was worse and now I had a fever that was up to 101 degrees. Needless to say, I missed classes. I couldn't get out of bed. It was devastating how hard this hit me. Mom thought I had the flu. So I slept and stayed in bed all day. I took my Motrin every 6 hours, but it would take an hour to kick in and an hour to wear off. During that time I was in a terrible state. I felt so miserable. I drank tons of water and Nick visited me in the morning to turn in some homework for me. Then he came back after BSAD and stayed with me for a while. I barely ate, but did what I could on cold things. I didn't sleep well at all Tuesday night. I constantly had spit flowing out of my mouth and my ears were hurting. Wednesday was even worse. I thought maybe I could tough it out and go to classes, but absolutely no way once it was morning. I felt terrible again and my fever was up to 102 now! The highest it got was 102.4. Very scary. I couldn't sleep during the day because Miriam was so damn annoying on the phone and just making so much damn noise. But I had no strength to do anything. It was on and off hits of fever and aches and chills. Nick visited again just as the medicine was wearing off and I was a mess. I decided I would go to the doctor in the morning and hopefully they would help me even though they haven't been so successful in the past. I call today and they are completely booked and can't fit me in today. No! I need to go in, my throat is so painful and it hurts so bad to swallow and to drink. I was really upset. But I was put on the list for cancellations. My fever was gone though so I decided to try out going to classes. Without the fever I felt so much better. It was nuts. Today was the first I was able to get up out of bed instantly. I showered and went to Stats. It was a long long class but still no call. I went to the Davis Center to get a small lunch and went to Nick's room while he worked, so I wouldn't have to walk to my dorm and back for class. But at 1:30 I got a call saying that a cancellation occurred and I could go at 1:45. I had class at 2, but whatever I want to get better. I went down since I was pretty close and waited. They asked the first set of questions and I was saying to like all of them lol, didn't seem good. Then this intern ish guy came in. Pretty smart, I liked him. But he thought I had mono. Oh hellz no. I don't want that!! But that can't be right, can it? So he brought in this more experienced older guy and they tried a few tests on me. Looking into my eyes cause the pinkeye symptoms still happen at night, but only at night when I'm sleeping. And then my intense sore throat. Just weird combinations for them. They did a light test on my sinuses which was cool. I want to try it one day lol. Then they decided to test for strep and mono, even though mono wouldn't show up for another 4 days correctly. Why not. So swabbed, yuck, and stuck with a needle. Results came quickly and both were negative. However my white blood cell count was very interesting among the three types of them. So I have some kinda bacterial thing. No idea what, but not mono since that's viral. Yay! I got 3 perscriptions and one for the eye, but that's only if it doesn't get cleared up with the 3. Finally some results!! Sadly I didn't have my insurance card with me so I had to go all the way back to my room to get it. A really far walk and I tried calling Alison to drive me back and forth, but she was like oo I'm going to get coffee with my friend. I'm sorry that could have waited just a little bit, I just needed a quick ride. I was pissed. But I had no choice, I had to get this damn medicine filled. I walked up sat down for a bit. Tried to eat, but failed since it hurt so so so badly. I went to Nick's since he was out of BSAD and rested more. I was feeling bad then and he went down with me to the place. I got it filled in 20 minutes and then we walked back up. I took it and called mom. We watched One Tree Hill as I had another fever, or maybe it was just a hotflash. I don't know. It was gone by the time I got back home. After he walked me back to make sure I made it and I had dinner and did some much needed homework. I watched Lost and I feel incredibly better. It's nuts! This was what I needed really. I'm so glad I'm getting better. Well I'll go to bed soon, so yay to getting better! 10:43PM

I woke up in the middle of the night with my right eye crusted shut. I thought great I have pinkeye. I made an appointment this morning to go get it looked at. But after I woke up in the morning, my eye looked back to normal, so I have no clue what happened to me. I had Renaissance and Nick walked in thinking he was in the correct room and then he walked out. It was pretty funny. I then had India class and I was just so tired in it. I then went down to the health center. They were not very helpful, as usual. I didn't get any medicine and I'm just going to let it go away on it's own. Even if it's a mild case of pinkeye. I got a bagel on the way back and then did some homework. I was really tired so I took a two hour hap. I also talked to Jamie and my mom. I woke up after 5 and did more homework and ate my leftovers from Olive Garden. It was so good. I did more reading and now I think I'm getting sick. My throat hurts and go figure, Nick has been feeling the same way for 2 days now too. Crap. 9:08PM

Maggie was around two hours later, so before she arrived I went to Nick's and we watched a little Nip/Tuck. I got her call and ran over to meet her. It was very exciting. We went to the Davis Center so that she could eat, it was around 11 after all. There was a loud band, but we talked anyway. Then we went to my room and hung out. After maybe 2 hours we went to Nick's to finish off the night. It was good and we walked back to my dorm around 2:30. Went to sleep and tried to sleep in the next day. I guess we got up around 11 and got ready for the day. We went downtown and I showed her around. We walked down to the waterfront. I wanted to take digital pictures, but the batteries got drained by the cold weather. So I used the Holga instead. We got lunch and then walked back up with nothing else to do. We sat down for maybe 20 minutes and then met with Nick. All 3 of us went downtown again for the Mardi Gras parade. It was better than last year but still not very good. There were some drunken kids there that were climbing the trees. It was a little annoying. After the parade we killed time by going into Pure Pop and Rite Aid. Then at 5 we saw Be Kind Rewind. It was hysterical and I really enjoyed it. Then we went back up. Maggie and I had dinner in my room and stayed in for the rest of the night. We watched Forrest Gump and afterwards visited Alison in her room. We went to bed at 12 or 1 I guess. I don't know. After much effort, I convinced Alison to take us to the bus depot for Maggie. We got her there around 7 and then we went back to campus. I went to Nick's to sleep in and we got up around 9 and watched tv. We got breakfast around 12 and then I went back to my room. I showered and then realized the homework I had, I actually didn't have to do. So! I cleaned up the room from the weekend. Then I got lunch at Brennan's with Alison. It was ok. I came back and went through my pictures. Good stuff. Then I went to Nick's for the evening. We got Olive Garden for dinner, it was delivered. And then we watched Big Brother and the Oscars. 11:50PM

Bug class was good but Alison was pissed off at me for some unknown reason the entire time. I went to Nick's and watched the rest of Big Brother and Reno 911. The next day we had Stats and got I got a B on my exam. I'll take it. Then I came back to shower and did some homework. We had BSAD and that was ok. We had a little quiz and then I went with Nick to his room. I took a nap for almost 2 hours and then helped bring some packages to the shipping center at the Davis Center. I went to my room and finished my homework. I went to Nick's for Lost and ended up spending the night. I got up early and came back to my dorm to shower before class. Alison, ok with me know,and I went to the Renaissance class. And then I had discussion in India. I grabbed a bagel after class and then vacuumed the room. Then I read 20 pages for Renaissance and took a nap for an hour. Mom called and woke me up, but that was ok since I wanted to get up then anyway. I read another 20 pages and then went to Nick's room. We took the bus downtown and went to the bank. While waiting for the bus to take us back up, he knocked me into the snow. Not nice lol. We stopped in his room and then went to the other bus stop to go to the UMall. But because of traffic the buses were so behind and he left to walk there. I didn't want to walk. I'm now back in the room and waiting for Maggie to arrive. She just texted me saying they are really backed up so they'll be late. That sucks, but oh well, I don't except much happening tonight anyway. 5:59PM

Long days Wednesday. Well Alison wanted to leave sooner for class in order to stop at the library for latte's, which we do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but she also wanted to pick from more chairs in class. Ugh, I'd rather sleep an extra 10 minutes. We had class and turned in our papers. Then it was India time and we put in our papers too. I got a bagel and hot dog for lunch and went to my room for homework. I did Renaissance, finished India, and did BSAD. I'm working on some homework to be ahead for the weekend now. But now I've got to pack to spend the night at Nick's. At 4:30 Alison and I shall go eat dinner at New World Tortilla and then we're off to Bug class. Then Nick's for Big Brother and Reno 911. Real quick because I have a bad headache. I had Stat and we didn't get our exams back. Damn. I came back and did a lot of reading. I got lunch at the Marche and did more reading. I went to BSAD with Nick and we got our exams back there. I got an 86.5! Ohh yeah. And the highest grade was a 90.5. Oh yeah. I'm happy. And I might get 2 points back and then a curve, whoot. I came back to my room to finish my papers, they look good. I did more reading and worked on a Bug assignment with Alison. I also went to Nick's for Big Brother and Nip/Tuck. The finale was crazy crazy! Now I'm home and off to bed. Asap. 11:22PM

I gave up writing my paper and went to Alison's room. We decided to order Olive Garden. Wonderful idea! We picked up the delicious food and I ate alllll of mine: salad, 2 breadsticks, spaghetti and meat sauce. And then we got ice cream. I was so incredibly full!! We watched Get Over It! And some other tv shows as well. I went over to Nick's around 11 even though he was duty and played the Wii. Then we watched an episode of Nip/Tuck and called it a night. Today I got up at 9:30 and came back to my dorm. I did laundry and showered. Alison and I went to Starbucks. It was 51 degrees outside today! I wore only one thin jacket! I couldn't believe it! I nearly finished writing my India paper. I've got my conclusion left but I'm so tired of studying and writing that I had to quit before it got worse. I went to Nick's and we did the usual. Got dinner at Brennan's and I came back before he had his RA meeting. I watched some tv with Alison and now I'm going to bed! And, our room stinks!! And it's not because of me. 11:11PM

I'm rarely in my room on the weekend. And if I am, I'm doing homework and don't think about blogging. But here is Friday: I had Renaissance and was glad she didn't single me out for having visited her with my terrible paper. Then I had India and it was a discussion day. I got a crappy lunch at the Marche and ate in my room. I did some homework and then went to Nick's. He went out with Max since Max had just broken up with Jackie. They had some nice guy time and I played Wii and watched tv. Nick came back just after 12 so that was nice. On Saturday we got up and had breakfast at the Marche. I went to my dorm, showered up and tried to finish my Renaissance paper. It was not successful since Alison kept coming into my room to talk to me. Frustrating. But I nearly finished it anyway. I gave up and went to Nick's for the night. We watched that new National Treasure movie and some Nip/Tuck. We got a pizza because it has been 2 weeks since the last time I got one! It was very tasty. Today we did the same morning routine after I helped him with some Accounting homework. I finished my Renaissance paper after an hour and began to do a little research for the India one. But now some obnoxious girl on the other side of my wall is blasting awful music. I'm going to get dinner with Alison and then watch a movie with her and then go see Nick. No school tomorrow, yay for President's. It was super windy today too. Our windows have been squealing nonstop. 5:54PM

Happy Valentine's Day! Yay! I'm excited. No snow days today, things will go as planned. So yesterday at the Bug class he only used one of my Top 5's I had submitted. And now even a real funny one. Ah well. I still got some extra credit. I also got a 93 on our mini exam. Very good. Afterwards I went to Nick's and we watched Big Brother and later Reno 911. I played some wii too. Today we got up and took the Stats exam. I don't know if I feel confident in it. The 4th page was really tough for me, but I think I might have gotten the answers right afterall. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I've come back to my room and showered up. Hopefully we get the BSAD exam back today. Then Nick and I will go downtown to shop for some glasses at Homeport and then we'll go to Roque's for an early dinner! I'm thrilled. Oh no, I need to make him a card! 11:49PM

I missed yesterday's blogging because I was too anxious to get to bed. Yesterday I got up and got ready for Stats. It was the typical stats and I found out our exam will be open book/notes. Phew! I came back to my room and read some of Burmese Days. I got lunch at Alice's: soup and a bagel with butter. Then I studied more for Accounting. At last I went to Nick's and then we went to take our BSAD exam. I was a little nervous but I really just wanted to get it over with. It went pretty well I think. One question I was unsure of and maybe one multiple choice. Otherwise, pretty good I think. We got out early from the test and played a little Wii. I wanted a Ben and Jerry's milkshake so we got one of those too lol. I went back to my dorm to do some homework and I finished my paper. I went to Nick's since I was done for the day. We eventually got dinner at the Davis Center and watched a lot of Nip/Tuck and the premiere of Big Brother. I came back and it had just begun to snow. We were suppose to get 6-10 inches, but by this morning when I was going to the Renaissance class, I'd say we only had 3 or 4 inches more. It's been snowing on and off throughout the day though. At one point I was getting rain on me, but that's the only time I've seen it like that. I had the India class and found out that I can't make any of the movies we are suppose to go to because I am in a class at the time. The Bug one, it runs late and that's when the movie is. Ugh. So I'll have to watch them on my own time and do a write up on it in addition. It sucks. Our Renaissance paper got extended and I am soo happy about that. I went to talk to our professor when I was done with classes about my paper. It didn't go so well. Well, my facts were good, but the setup of the debate I was trying to talk about sucked lol. So, I have work to do this weekend. I came back to my room after I had gotten lunch at Alice's. Oh, yesterday I picked up a breakfast basket from the Marche that my parents got for me, for Valentine's Day. I had two muffins, a croissant, some other bready thing, 2 packs of coffee, box of tea, and a single packet of hot chocolate. Oh and a single serving of add-milk-oatmeal, and cereal. Pretty nice. Anyway, I did a lot of homework today trying to get ahead of myself since I won't want to do any of it tomorrow since Nick and I have plans this Valentine's Day. It's not suppose to snow unlike last year when we got 2.5-3 feet of snow! The place shut down. Sucky. But after class we'll go eat at Roque's and have a good night. Oh yeah, it's snowing now. I finished Burmese Days. It was really good, but a sad ending!! And now I'm going to go bother Alison before we leave for dinner and then the Bug class. We have a Top 5 every class and I submitted 5 ideas so I hope I get chosen!! 4:17PM

Finally got to bed around 12 and I got up today early for Renaissance class. It was action packed. Actually no, not really. I had India and that was nice. I like that professor a lot. I came back to my dorm and did laundry and did homework. I got lunch and did more homework. Lots of reading and homework. Then I wrote about 85% of my Renaissance paper. I'm really glad to have started on that. So I'll finish it tomorrow. Getting that paper out of the way was such a stress reliever. I was worried it would just be horrible, but I'm pretty thrilled with it. Good! I got dinner with Alison because Nick couldn't get to the Marche in time. Alison built me a paper crane and it's cute. Now I'm going to go to bed. By the way, it was 2 degrees outside with a wind chill of -17! It was just as miserable as it sounds. And tomorrow when I'm going to class it will be 0 with a wind chill of -7! Wonderful. 10:52PM

Oh I'm very behind. I'll try my best to recap. We ended up getting about 16 inches with the past snowstorm. It was a lot more then they expected. On Friday I had Renaissance and India and those were the usual. I got lunch at Brennan's to go and had it back in my room as I read some homework. I took an hour nap and finally went to see Nick. We watched some shows and played Wii and then went downtown for a few stops. After grabbing dinner at City Market we walked back up. I "cooked" the dinner in the microwave. He had two burritos and I had one. Mine was potato and corn. Spicy too, but actually pretty good. We ended up staying in for the night but we still had a good time. The next day I got up at 10 and went back to my dorm. I got ready and waited to go to the library with Alison. But she ran late, grr. Instead of at 12, we went at 1. Ah well. And Meghan came too. We did our work and it was good. I was studying for my big time accounting final. After we came back to the dorm. I went to Nick's for dinner and came back to my room at 7. I hung out with Alison and Meghan for the night. We had a lotta fun and Matt came to visit too. I went over to Nick's for the night. I got up today and came back to the dorm. Showered and went to the library with Alison again around 1. Meghan was already there. And some girl had yelled at her for making noise with her hiccups. How ridiculous! I left the library at 5 and went to Nick's. We had dinner at Brennan's and then I came back to my room. I continued my studying and we had a floor meeting. I finally finished my accounting and I read some of Burmese Days for my India class. I like it a lot. Now I'm going to bed because it's going to be a very busy week. 11:06PM

We got loads more snow in the night. I saw that we got 16 inches by noon today, so probably another inch or so this afternoon and evening. I think it has finally stopped now. We had Stats and it was fine. I went home and showered and did some homework and had lunch. I met with Nick and we had BSAD. That class is just not working for me. It gets so confusing sometimes. Things on the board are wrong, people are saying the wrong thing. It's just bad. After I stayed with Nick for a little while and we watched the latest One Tree Hill. Then we got dinner at the Marche and I came back to do my Stat homework and read for India. I watched Lost with Alison and Meghan and now it smells very strongly of incense in the hall and it's seeping into our rooms. Bleh, real strong. Well, I'm looking to go to bed now. 10:30PM

I woke up to it snowing. There were several inches and it has been snowing still all day. I'd say we have 5 or 6 inches and we'll get more. I had Renaissance and we're still chatting about the plague. India was fine. We got assigned a paper. Then I came back to the dorm and fought the snow the entire way. I did my homework for both histories, just a lot of reading. I had my lunch, leftover pizza and now I'm studying for my Bug mini exam. I'm not sure what to expect. We have a lot of notes but it's only worth like 10 points of our final grade, so I don't know. Alison and I will go eat and study around 4:30 and then go to class. I know we'll watch a movie for an hour and a half or so. Then I'll go to Nick's for the rest of the night as we're buried in snow. 2:49PM

Today has been a long day. It feels like I've done so much today. I got up and got ready and went to Stats with Nick. Long class. Then I went home to shower and have lunch. I did my homework and then met with Nick for BSAD. We have an exam coming up in there and I feel so unprepared. She might know her stuff, but it's not coming out clear and is not working for a majority of this. I feel like I'm being screwed over and I need this so badly. So I've got to teach all of this managerial accounting to myself. Nick and I tried to work on that homework but we couldn't get anywhere because it wasn't explained how to approach it in different situations. Ugh. He napped and I relaxed. We got dinner and then went to my dorm. I got my Christmas lights and my India book. We went back to his room and he read as I put up the Christmas lights in his room. It looks awesome. Then I read another chapter in my book and I took a nap for like 30 minutes. Then we watched House and Nip/Tuck. Now I'm back and going to bed as soon as possible. 11:24PM

We got lunch at New World Tortillia and then went to his room. I bet we watched Nip/Tuck or played some wii. We did watch some regular tv and just stayed in for the night. The next day we got up and had breakfast at Cook. I stayed for a little bit, but then went home. I showered quickly and went right back to Nick's. We went downtown to his bank and then to Rite Aid. I got a few needed things and then we went to Quizno's for dinner. It was pretty good even though they gave me bacon when I didn't ask for it. That's ok. We walked back up the hill having a good time. We watched some discovery channel and then Max came over. We rode with him to a few stops and then to his friend's house. They joined us and we were off to another house for a party. We then walked to this other party, but it was packed and looked lame so Nick and I went to KKD for some snacks. We took it back up the hill and ate in his room. Then we were off to sleep. Sunday we got up and ate some of his birthday cake that his dad brought over. His birthday is really in April, but it was on sale now. hahaha. I went back to my room, showered and then did my homework. I talked to Maggie which was wonderful. Seems like she will be coming up to visit for one weekend. We are very excited! I got food at one point but went over to Nick's for the super bowl. I wanted the Giants to win, and they did. Yay! I got a pizza during it too and we watched it with his complex and especially with Max and Jackie. Afterwards they left and we went to watch House. He walked me back to my dorm. Today I had Renaissance and India. We had a map quiz and I saw I made a mistake when I completely kenw it. Very upsetting. I came back after classes and did laundry, got lunch, and did my homework. I took a 3 hour nap and now I feel great! Except my face feels a little greasy, but I'm all rested! Now I'm waiting for Nick to get out of class and we'll go eat dinner. 4:58PM

I got up, had Renaissance class. We watched a documentary on the black death in there. Very interesting, but my left contact got loose and fell down into the sides of my eye. I didn't want to get up and go to the bathroom to fix it so I spent about 30 minutes trying to get it in the right spot again. I did, but I bet I looked very funny while doing it lol. Then I had my India class. It was a discussion session and it went better then the previous one. I got my map quiz back and I got a 100. Whoot! I walked back to my dorm in a blizzard. It's all snowy and in tiny pieces and it's blowing everywhere. We're suppose to get 6 inches today through the night. I talked to mom and cleaned the rug in the room. Miriam is gone for the weekend and I shall enjoy it! Now I'm just waiting for Nick and we'll eat lunch and then hang out for the rest of the day. 12:27PM
