___January 2006___January 31, 2006 Last day of January already. Woke up extra early today so I could watch the Oscar Nominations. It was fantastic and I will make an attempt (or like to think I will) to see some of those nominated. We had a Tops meeting today for the seniors. It was about applying and such, and well I've just done that. We got maybe 5 minutes extra for lunch since we were allowed to go. Jen and I got some pizza and then came back and tried to take a 6 minute nap, lol, but we ended up just talking and getting distracted, lol. Watched more of A Lot Like Love in 6th. Came home after school, nice change. I can't remember now. I've a headache since the time I got home, up until now even. It's terrible. I can't stand these things and I'm typing with my eyes shut because the computer screen is too bright. So I don't think I've messed up too many words doing so. Probably just my average number of mistakes. Okay, going to sleep early now. I'm saving this and then going to save Scanned and then will delete scanned tomorrow morning, so bye bye scanned. 9:34PM Quote of the day: --

January 30, 2006 Thought a lot last night before going to sleep. I couldn't stop. I hate that, but yet I completely enjoy having my mind running like that. Just not when I'm trying to sleep. I really wanted to run today, but I eventually realized I wouldn't get the chance. Had school. Fine morning, nice lunch, decent afternoon. Oh, watched the first part of A Lot Like Love in study hallz. With a z. lol. Left early during 7th to change for bowling and left. And omg, I had such a terrible eye attack driving the whole way there. Ahem, I had my left eye closed practically the whole time, and I drive by interstate. Er yeah. Painful. (Eye attack='s my name for this shooting pain I get in my eyes due to my contacts. Not sure what triggers them, but they can last from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. This one was like 7. Ouch.) I don't know what was wrong with me, but I was talking nonstop with Julie too. I was tired, but had energy, strange. I also kicked ass by bowling a 122 and won a point for the team. Too bad that I actually didn't play against someone. The other team only had 2/6 people. So I'm going to take a wild guess and say that we won. Just guessing. An educated one. lol. I left early once again and stopped at the gas station and got a Dr. Pepper, Starburst (oo some still in my purse, score!), and a little thing of Pringles. I was very hungry. I pulled up into my dance parking lot and ate. Jen arrived by her mom and she joined me in my car and she ate something from Cane's (chicken fingers basically). Jamie shows up and she eats next to us some McDonalds. That's really something how all of us showed up with food. We ate and chatted and eventually went in. We got to practice with hats for our dance. It's kinda awkward, and it kept hitting my ear which hurt like a bitch. Omg, it was painful. Hurt worse then getting the damn piercing done! After that I got some dinner and brought Jen to her boyfriends house. Came home, ate, did some work and watched 24. Awesome stuff. Vicki, tis alright! I did get the email too, very exciting! Okay thanks for letting me know, I'll stop by next chance I get. Thanks a lot! :D :D It was really nice there. 10:28PM Quote of the day: --

January 29, 2006 Small update today. I read a lot today and did more work for school. Go figure. I've also discovered a whole lot of new music which completely thrills me. It's all within the same genre basically, the rock/alternative/indie area, but lots of new bands and it's just lovely. And Grey's Anatomy = awesome and amazing. 9:51PM Quote of the day: --

January 28, 2006 I did it yay! The random pictures mostly of me, here. Had a good time writing captions. Enjoy. My actual trip, here. 11:09PM --Ended up watching the Wedding Crashers. Such a good movie, glad I did do it. Woke up today, got dressed, made some waffles. Yum. Did lots of Astronomy. Early. Shocking, I know. So I won't have to do it later this coming week. Later dad and I sat down to apply for financial aid, CSS and FAFSA, good fun. I had dinner. lol, that's my day. But I have decided that since this may be my last year to run in the Race for the Cure (a 5K), I want to run it and not stick behind with Jamie. Soo I'd like also to get a good time. I use to be able to do it in 35 minutes, and I would imagine now it would take me about 45. Ish. lol. So, starting Feb 1, I think I'm going to go run/walk 5K around the neighborhood to get ready for it. I'm going to try to do it everyday. Try. I also finally finished the Maine page. Took me long enough!! I will be soo careful to not overwrite it this time. I have a second page coming too. Will try to get it up tonight, but don't get your hopes up just yet. Think I might watch the at movie one more time tonight too. 9:36PM Quote of the day: --

January 27, 2006 Not much went on during the morning classes. Had a few tests, some good, some bad, lol. Went to Sonic with Jen, good stuff there. I've been really tired in the afternoon classes lately. Like, I just sit there not really talking, except for the odd comment or two. I just go off into space. lol. I finally went to World Lit today since I wasn't there for 2 days. They were actually worried/wondering where I was and if I had dropped the class. I thought they could have cared less! I guess that's nice. I came home and hm, I can never remember can I? As usual I had assignments in Astron due today that I had barely finished. So I've been working on them mostly since I got home. Went out to eat dinner at one point, but came home and worked more. Turned it in and now I'm debating on whether to go to sleep or watch Wedding Crashers. And Happy Birthday Rebecca, even though you shouldn't be seeing this, lol. It's a mental (or blog) note for me later in life. Here have some music. (10 songs) Ends Monday. 10:2&PM Quote of the day: --

January 26, 2006 Going to try to make this quick because I need to get back to Calc. Lunch was good today, lol, went with Jen, Jessica, Rachel, Nick, and Bryan to Arby's. Good group, decent food. Bleh, Astron, it never ends. I always have massive assignments to do and get them in just hours before they are due. Gave money to Tori and Nick, and they bought me a huge thing of Starburst. Um, yumm. After 6th, went to the office and checked out. Went home and then went with my mother to the eye doctor. Always a wonderful trip. We arrive, fill out more stuff, and finally get to the room. I always feel so stupid when I'm trying to say the letters. I know they don't have x's, but I can't lie when I know it's really a k. lol, but ah, I'm not good at the reading the screen thing, or the 3d dot card. Wow. Bad. Turns out, I'm getting a new pair of contacts, something stronger. Oh, my vision just gets worse and worse. They wanted to measure the pressure of my eyes, hm sure. So I took out the contacts and the girl put this numbing eyedrops on my eyes. It stung like a bitch. But then turns out she was poking me with this... tool, and I didn't even feel it. I wasn't aware this was the idea until after. It was very interesting. I put my contacts back in and it felt soo weird. Felt like they would just fall out on the spot. We left the place and then went to... hm, well there was a lot of traffic and oh, okay, we went to Wal-Mart. My back was hurting too, it was strange; probably a muscle thing. Bought lots of stuff we don't need, like usual. Came home, and I worked on this huge Astron thing and later watched The Office. Which I loved the ending to tonight. Loved it. Ah, touches my heart. Love that show. What's great is, mom turned to the channel to watch, even though she keeps saying it's a stupid show. I think deep down, she loves it. lol. So yeah, I think that might be it. Probably not. But too bad. 10:07PM Quote of the day: "Oh, instead of World of Warcraft, mine would be World of Laundry."

January 25, 2006 Thought about not updating today, but here I am. Woke up still feeling crappy, but went to school anyway. Ended up checking out after 3rd hour as I expected to do so. Went to my 3 important classes and then saw our college counsler. She called up my four colleges and each have gotten everything they need. That makes my life easier. I really really want to leave. Now I need to get financial aid done. asap too. Ooo, have a few days *breathes* Okay. I wanted a king cake so I went to Jay's before going home. Had to stand and wait for a while; it was getting decorated. Came home, ate, and tried to read Heart of Darkness, but ended up falling asleep, for the length of 8 songs. Looks to be about 35 minutes. I woke up and hmm. Well, eventually went with mom to my dance place to turn in my t-shirt order form. And I saw someone who graduated from my school last year. Surprising to see her there. We then went to Walgreens and a few more stops and then back home. I really can't remember. I have been trying to do Stats work, but I just can't grasp this stuff. So, missed a meeting today and then there was tennis I was skipping to go to another bowling match. Ah well. Next time. I've got tennis tomorrow, but can't make it either. Then there is the first match for tennis on Monday. Probably won't play, because I don't have a uniform. I need something to match the others. Bah. I'm still bitter over it, but moving on. It's what I do. Remember, scanned is closing soon, so save what you want now. I'm thinking about sending some messages to people through myspace when the date comes closer. Hm. Would much rather skip school tomorrow too. Did I already say that? I know I thought about it. Anyway. I really really want to go out somewhere and take pictures of some location. I need to find out where though. In a perfect world, I could finish this fin aid in one second and go down to the chocolate city to take pictures. (Wow. Who heard this fantastic remark? [I know it was more than a week ago.] *shakes head at all the LA government area*) Birdie, thank you :) 10:22PM Quote of the day: Immortal slive.

January 24, 2006 Hm. Not much to report on today. Average day I suppose. Didn't even have anything to do after school. It was nice too. But actually, I feel rather shitty at this current moment. Has nothing to do with my ear. I just don't feel well. So, I think I'm going to go to sleep now. Yeah, and it's only 9:10PM Quote of the day: --

January 23, 2006 Oo, I like this layout and all, but I seriously need a new one. I'm thinking something dark. Well, just darker colors. But ack, I really don't feel like making one or when I'll get around to it. Maybe in 2 weeks, I think. That's quite a while away. Jen and I arrived at school at the same time today, and as soon as I stepped out of the car, she noticed my ear. Wow! lol. That was quick, but it was only her, and then Tori who noticed. I told / showed a few people too though. Had Blimpie today which equaled yum. Oh, earlier, Jessica asked if I could bring her home 6th hour, since I had a study hall then. I said alright, so I met her in the office and we signed out. I brought her to the new house and got a tour. omg, it's beautiful, and quite large. And spiffy and neat and all the other adjectives I use. lol. I eventually went back to school and checked in, as I do have one more class. When 2:40 rolled around I left class to change and go to bowling. Our first match was today. Thrilling, and just plainly amazing. Of course. As usual, I was the first to arrive and finally others showed up. I played in the first 1 (of 3) and sucked. omg, wow. I got an 88. Crappy. I didn't play in the next or the 3rd, so I told the coaches I was leaving to go to dance. I change at the bowling place and rush over, but I made it in time, so yay. It was great tonight too. I'm not entirely sure why, but it was. Fun, and I think I actually got it! I came home and eventually watched 24 and now here I am. Vicki, I know! I'm completely excited about it! haha. I heard that that piercing is the worst for guys, but I still imagine it hurts for us. Ouch. Were you sore for quite a while? It's healing just splendidly. It really is. I'm just concerned about it getting infected, which would be very very serious. So I'm keeping it clean and everything of that sort. It was only tender and sensitive the day after, but nothing too bad. I woke up twice with crusted blood, lol. But that's about it. It's looking really good, and I can even sleep on it. 9:35PM Quote of the day: --

January 22, 2006 Woke up and got in the shower later than I wanted. Jamie called me while I was in the shower and told me when to arrive. I finished getting ready and drove to the Hole Experience, as today was the day for her tattoo. I got there about 12:25 and joined her, Amber, and Ben -Jamie's boyfriend. We sat, talked, and waited for a very long time. We waited for about an hour and a half and finally she went to do it. They set her up, and she didn't have anything to eat, not a good idea. So they supplied her with a coke. Then she was outlined and then she took a break. Went back to it, and got the purple, red, yellow, and once again black and it was done. Took about 20-30. It didn't look bad, the process and all. But she was hurting. I took pictures, but have been requested to not show them, so I won't. It is this flower though, with the above mentioned colors. And it went on her lower back. But oh, my ear turned out so well to the people working there, that I ended up in their book. Not sure if everyone does, but I did, so that's neat. But mom says it's not, because the whole ear thing is stupid, lmao. I did take a picture of it, here. {I'm top right} Cool. lol. So right, we left, I went my way and took the long out of the way to Jason's Deli and picked up some food for mom and myself. Turns out that as I was pulling ouf of the area, they were just pulling in. I beat them, yay! lol. They were stuck in traffic. So I go home and eat and then watch some taped stuff with mom and then talked to Maggie for a while and then had dinner and watched more tv and now I'm going to try to print out financial aid stuff. 10:12PM Quote of the day: --

January 21, 2006 Woke up somewhat remotely early and got ready to go to the Juvenile Diabetes walk. Mom and I went and drove around the LSU campus looking for the place. Found it at our second idea location. We parked and walked to the walking like just in time. We walk, I don't know, maybe 3 miles, in about ... 50 minutes. I guess that's not too bad, but afterwards I was just wiped and wanted a nap. lol. The weather was gross and terrible, hot and spitting with rain. Humid, gross. After the walk, mom and I had some lunch there and sat in agony of the terrible music DJed. omg, bad, oh lol, so bad. It was about to leave, so people began to clear out and we followed. We went to this fabric place and then to the mall. In Foley's, some kid had pulled the fire alarm. So it woud beep and screach and like howl every few seconds. It was soo high, and so painful. I walked around holding my hands over my ears. If you were under it and it went off, omg it really hurt. We left that department store finally and went to the bookstore. I wanted to see if that guy was there. After sweeping the store, I saw that he was! Ah, awesome. lol. So mom ended up getting a book and he checked us out. The name is Mitch. Heh. *giddy* We moved on to Victoria's Secret since we had a coupon. I got a bra and experienced the quote of the day. We went to CC's to get a drink, and I wanted to see if Carl was there. Nope. We left and went home. Sat for a while and then went out to eat at this new restuarant in our area, The Chimes. They had alligator as an appetizer. Gross. I'm sad to say that I have tried that stuff too. Ack, gross. Did it taste like chicken? Eh yeah I guess. Can't quite remember, but I tried it to say I've had it. The food was alright, but the chick who sat us was either really stupid or completely out of it. We walked around most of the place because she forgot where our table was located, so I think she just sat us down in the end. So we left andd hm. I guess went home. Yeah. I'm quite bored right now. I am watching X2 on tv now which is fantastic, but I'm still bored. And could go for some ice cream right about now. The ear is doing fantastic, and that's not sarcastic. I am amazed by how well it's doing. 8:58PM Quote of the day: I don't care what a bra looks like. I just need it to hold my boobs in place. -chick in Victoria's Secret

January 20, 2006 Hello all! Had a nice snack in Stats today. I love it when that happens. Had this critique in Photo today, I liked it. Jen checked out because she's sick, so I went with Jamie, Amber, and Nick to Sonic. And: here is our journey. Came back. Took a test in Aston. Finished homework in study hall, fantastic. Read some of the Inferno in World Lit, fascinating too actually. I chatted Jamie up before going home today. I came home. Sat for a bit and then drove to Amber's house. Jamie got there too. Amber went into her car and I followed Jamie to the bank, and then to The Hole Experience. Last Friday, Amber got her belly button pierced and Jamie went with her. Jamie was offered a free one, and she's been wanting one for a while. (As have I) So she would go back at another time. (Today) We three went, Amber to see it done, Jamie well to get it done, and myself to see it and also get my left upper ear pierced. As I've been wanting that done too. One big party. lol. I signed up and went first. The girls followed me to the chair and Jamie filmed it on her camera. lmao. So, I got it done! And me, someone who has a low pain tolerance, found that it really didn't hurt that bad at all. It was nothing. I felt pressure, and could actually feel it going through my ear, but didn't freak out. It was an odd, but very cool experience. I watched the film after and it looks so much worse seeing it than getting it done. Turns out, Jamie will have to go back at a later time, but I hope to go support / watch her when she gets it done. I wanted to get a tattoo too, but mom wouldn't have it. So bring her in slowly. lol. Infact, when I came home she took a look at it and said, Looks terrible. lmao. I could care less and it only just makes me laugh. I'm pleased. Amber was jealous because it didn't hurt me hardly at all, compared to her belly button one, where had she'd known what it was going to be like - she wouldn't have done it. Here's a picture Jamie took of me in the chair right after. I look very funny, but neat. 9:38PM Quote of the day: --

January 19, 2006 Getting ready this morning I remember that yesterday I should have bought some Chex Mix to bring to school for this thing that was to happen later tonight (but I couldn't make). So crap... Much less tension though in Stats. At the end of class, she even asked me if I was going to tennis practice after school. I had my stuff because I hadn't decided yet. I said, I don't know. I then asked her how many matches are there in a season. She thought about 16. (... Woo, thought there might be more than that.) Then asked how many would I play in, like 2? She answered (not the 2 answer, that was my guess) and we continued to talk about it. Sooo after talking and thinking: I'm going to keep doing it. lol. I may not play very often, but I can at least get better so that I can play years down the road. You know? And it gives me something to do. But takes up a lot of time, but I still want to. Went to Photo, after much 'thinking' in that class, I finally got to working on a project. We're making this photo album book thing. I'm going to have chapters (haha, normally you wouldn't) because I have like 6 pictures of Amber in there, and then maybe another 6 from my night-themed roll of film. So chapters I shall have. So! For lunch I went with Jen to Wal-Mart. Got some Wal-Mart chicken and before leaving I picked up a bag of Chex Mix. Yay! Went back to school and left it in the car so I went back out to get it. Brought it to the room and went to Aston. Called mom during study hall for a while. Mmm. Changed out of pants into shorts for tennis and Julia was riding with me there. We arrived and well had practice. It went fine. My serves have begun to suck though. It's either too short or too far. Annoying. Really annoying. I came home, but later went out to get some dinner. Took Lexi with me. The dog just wanted to be in my lap it was annoying. The whole way there she had her front feet on the armrest in front looking at me. lol, it was cute. I was in this huge line for the place I was at so I let her come over to me. She was happy and I got my food and drove home with her still there. Somewhat difficult, but I've done it in the rain before and at the same time I maybe only had a license for a few months. hehehe. I would like to give a big I'm sorry to Nicola, you guessed correctly, I've just been terrible and haven't told you what's what. I'll send something out right now. [later, Well, Nicola, the email failed. But you guess correctly. If you care to get the graphic leave a comment or something.] Well, off to try to get an Astron assignment done tonight. Hopefully. 10:36PM Quote of the day: I feel like a lactating dog. (having 4 tennis balls in 2 pockets in my jacket. lol.

January 18, 2006 Anyone else really really tired these days? I know I am. Extremely so. I didn't get the right moment to ask my coach/teacher about the tennis issue. But ohhh was there tension between us. I acted like normal, as it's what I do, but ah tension. lol. In Photo, Amber and I discussed that same topic of tennis. I'm leaning towards the quitting decision. I mean, I stopped soccer this year, because tennis would be a sport this year, not a club like last year. So no soccer, so I could play tennis. I wanted to compete. Now, I can't even do that. Arg, it's always like this. I actually got really angry about it this morning that I kinda sorta hit my bathroom door. And ouch. I am stupid. oh lol. But the dog too was driving me insane by barking constantly for 20 minutes. I can only last 18.72 minutes. I mean, come on! I rushed home for lunch to let out the dog and then went back to school for a meeting. I was the only one there in 7th hour today. But left 15 min early to go to bowling. Woohoo. Infact, I did terrible. Probably because my hand was acheing. I scored a 104 and then the last game we ran out of time, but on the 8th frame I had maybe an 80. ahaha. I drove home, but made a stop at Sonic. Came home, did some things. oh! I got a letter package deal from the college Northland today. I was considering them at one point, but they ended up not having my major, so no. But the date on the letter inside said September 6th, 2005. And I got it today. I also got another from dated December 15th, 2005. Got it also today. lol, our mail sucks since Katrina. Makes me worry about my Fordham and UVM stuff. Vicki, Yeah, it really does. I love tennis though, just really really wish I ccould have gotten the uniform. I wanted to do soccer badly this year, so I gave it up for this. Grr. I really do bet at least something happened in the decision. I also wanted to try tennis because this is my last year (in high school) to try something, sport wise, you know? Most likely, I won't be doing much in college. lmao, the rash comment made me crack up!! But thanks, it has and I didn't cover it up today. 1) wasn't bad, but 2) I didn't care anymore lol. Wasn't burning like yesterday. So that's good news! 10:17PM Quote of the day: I will consume your flesh.

January 17, 2006 Right, so I've got a fantastic rash looking thing on my neck. It's gross, but I can't decide if it's good when people are acting concerned about it. Is it, omg wtf is on your neck? and then the: you should go see the nurse. Well, I'll just *cover neck by sweatshirt* lol. I did wear one today. Rain wasn't too bad last night, but crap after all my hard work on cleaning my windows the other day, they were ruined by the rain and it's pollution and dirt mixed with it. Back to being dirty. I just can't win. For lunch, I went with Jamie and Amber to McDonalds and then we rushed back to school for our tennis meeting. We were to find out the ten girls out of 14 who get uniforms. I felt pretty damn good about making it. So she calls out the names. I don't hear mine called. ... Biggest let down in such a while, omg let me tell you. So I'm stuck on fucking JV. And they won't get uniforms for the 4 of us so we can just stick with a t-shirt. So chances are I will barely even will play. I was shocked and people later came up to me saying that didn't believe I didn't make the uniform list. Amber didn't make it either, she didn't care as much as I did, but she hates the fact at some kids who made the team who don't even deserve or are good enough to make it. I'm going to ask her why tomorrow as our coach is also my Stats teacher, who happens to sit next me. I just want to know what factors hurt me. I don't even want to be switched with someone if it's even remotely possible. So I've got the decision to make on if I should stick with it, hardly, rarely play, and only play for playing it. Or just plainly quit. I went to every practice, while another girl was only there for the 2 mandatory ones and made it. I was soo angry afterwards. I wanted to punch a locker. But not my property. lol. Really, just furious. So went to the afternoon classes. Not much happened. Saw my poor windows. Waited for people to leave because someone decided to park in a bad spot blocking certain people. Started to go home, but ah crap, I had to go do some things. Do so, get some french fries because at lunch I never got mine. Bad day! lol. Came home, I don't know what happened. Did work, watched tv. Oh, I got the website all figured out and paid for. And now scanned has opened back up again, lol. But final decision: on Feb 1, scanned will be closed and deleted and no more. Don't have the heart, time, and yeah. So, okay, night. 11:04PM Quote of the day: The playground is a death trap.

January 16, 2006 Ah my face is burning due to this new face wash but ahh it hurts and it's giving me this rash thing on my neck. Gross. Woke up, got dressed, and went to the dentist. It was a fantastic visit as you might imagine. I then went to la Madeleine for some lunch. But I made the stupid mistake to show up at about 12:10. Lunch hour, hello Marielle. So I parked a mile away, but ended up not waiting that long despite the place being packed! I came home, ate, and began working on homework that I had decided to leave to the last minute. But ah! I stumbled upon E! coverage of the Golden Globes so that somewhat distracted me. I later went to dance. Only 6 of us were there so that was nice. Small class, and lately we've ended up just standing around waiting for the teacher to come up with something. I like to do stuff, but once again I was feeling so well and then my face was on fire. It's weird. I talk to Jamie a little bit afterwards and then go home. I watch the Golden Globes while working on Astronomy. Had dinner and now I've got one more Astronomy thing to do. Hopefully it won't be too bad. But crap, I was suppose to read a lot for World Lit, but it might not happen. I'll try tomorrow though. What else. Well, go Steve Carell for winning his award for The Office! I was very excited to see that. I love that show, and last weeks episode was so very very funny. We're suppose to get a nasty thunderstorm tonight too. Ehhh. Hope it's not too bad. And! Guess what people, scanned is being renamed for the time being. And won't be available for the rest of the month. 10:04PM Quote of the day: --

January 15, 2006 Ack, you guys are killing my bandwidth this month. I hope I can make it through, because I have no idea how much I'm allotted per month. I'm amazed by how many people visit scanned a day. It's getting insane, and I'm still torn on if I should shut it down or not. But let me say, if it reaches the 4000 megabytes mark, which could easily happen in 2-3 days, I will make scanned unavailable until the start of February. I mentioned yesterday that I might go to an auction today. Decided against it, so we didn't go. It would have been on photography stuff, but I had no idea what would have been sold. Didn't seem organized very well, so no thanks! I did have tennis. It was okay, was having eye problems and didn't feel so well. I did get some food afterwards which was lovely lol. Healthy too. For the most part anyway, lol. What's strange is that my toe was bleeding during tennis again today. It did the same thing last Tuesday and now it's done it again! I have no idea why. I mean I could make the guess that it's because I cut the nail too short. When I'm angry or frustrated, I tend to hit my toes on the ground, in a quick motion. I do it mostly at bowling, and my bowling shoes allow me to do this because it's got some hard material there at my toes. But oohh, not my sneakers, lol. Pure toe there. (lol, odd topic to discuss) I forget this and end up whacking my foot against the ground, and ooo it hurts. I did it hard on Tuesday and ouch. But I don't recall doing it today, which leaves me confused. That's it for my day. I should have done lots of stuff today, but nope, putting it off until tomorrow. Big mistake; I know it. Now I have loads to do tomorrow, grr. Not looking forward to it. No school though. But still a busy day awaits me. So, I might make the attempt to go to sleep early. An attempt. 11:10PM Quote of the day: --

January 14, 2006 Woke up. Got dressed. Went with dad to see where this photo auction will be tomorrow. Then we went to Best Buy to exchange my cell phone for another one. Same type, just different actual phone. It took forever bleh. Then we got some food and came home. I took some pictures, the manip kind of course! [one] [two] I then had some dinner and then tried another set of pictures that I could manip. It involved my sitting in my car and it was not easy. Because I had problems with the lighting like you wouldn't believe. And it's pretty bleh. But here it is. Looks stupid, lol. Now I'm watching Saturday Night Live for some Death Cab for Cutie goodness. Vicki, you take your time, I understand. *blushes* aw, wow thank you. that's so kind of you. Thank you! I'm proud of that card. lol, oh hardly, you can't even see my directly, but technically I'm in it. ahah, that would be cool! 11:41PM Quote of the day: --

January 13, 2006 (laterx3) I am awesome. More pictures for you to see of myself. 10:33PM (laterx2) Ahaaa, here is it. Enjoy. And of course, since I had the camera out, I took pictures of myself in the mirror, so I'm going to mess with those right now. Maybe I'll have some more links tonight. 9:14PM (later) Well look at that, the site still works past the expiration date. That's good then. Happy Friday the 13th, nothing went wrong for me! *knocks on wood, still not over. lol.* Morning classes were fine. Lunch was yummy and bad for my heart. Oh! There were only 3 of us in Study Hall today. I was amazing and very quiet and it was just wonderful. I could concentrate and hear myself think. The younger kids were on a field tirp, it was so great lol. Chatted Jen up before we left school. That's what we do now. Just stand around and talk or comment on things. We use to try to leave right away, but when you do, you end up waiting in the traffic so we not wait for everyone to clear out. It's not too bad these days since a lot of people stick around for sports practice, but it is easy our way too. I came home and mom wanted some food, so out we went to Jambalaya Shoppe. Came home, ate, I renewed the domain name and then worked on the assignment that was due today in Astronomy. My room is looking, bigger too. lol, looks bigger because you can see more doors and walls and just less clutter. Actually, I find my closet doors to be very wide now, lol. It's strange. I'm thinking about taking my last part of 'The Wall' off. The last poster has pictures of myself and Jamie and other people who were all a part of our fantastic version fo the fellowship of the ring. Good memories with that, but it may just have to come down. It's been up for a good ... 4 years? Wow, maybe. No way, I was 14? Summer of ... 2002. Wow. 14 seems like forever ago. lol, oh such good memories with it. It'll stay up a little bit longer. That might mean a few days, but I love those pictures. It's too bad Jamie lost the movie on her computer. We had bloopers and everything. Oh hell, I'm going to take a picture of it now and explain the pictures. It might even be on the site now, but I'm going to do it anyway. lol. 8:43PM --There is a chance this website may not be accesible past the time of 7:40PM, or maybe even 6:40PM central time (mine). Soo, should that happen. It's because I didn't renew my domain, but I am currently trying to. The situation is just slightly different because I transfered and stuff, lol, just a long while ago. So, just so you know. :) 5:57PM ZERO Days Until Glory Road!

January 12, 2006 It was a decent day for me today. Hope yours was grand. It was Amber's birthday today, so before we went off to 4th hour, I brought her to my car and gave her my gift. She said she liked it, so yay. They were earrings. Had a nice time in Photo today, concerning the fun with a drill. Wanted to drill a hole into the table, but our teacher wasn't letting us. Worth a shot to ask, lol. So instead this large block of wood got one hole into it, was then covered by gold paper and made into a kick ass necklace lol. Jen and I took Amber with us to Sonic. We had a nice time and the food was delicious. Came back, and on my way to Astron: someone knocked into me, so in turn was pushed against the stairwell. On the frame of it, and it got my shoulder, and ouch that was painful. Had forgotten about it until I happened to touch my shoulder and it hurt, hello. Then to get to my classroom for Astron, you go through one room, and then through this tiny room with a washing machine in it and as far as I know a light is never on. May not even have one. So as I was walking through it, in the dark (was trying to get to the other door, which goes to the room), Sean all of a sudden comes out from the washing machine directions, grabs my shoulders and says boo. Ah it was scary. And then he did it to another girl, which was funnier (her reaction). In Study Hall, I attempted to do work but kept thinking off on, crap I have soo much to do and not enough hours in the day to do it. When in the first place, I could be working on it there *shakes head* oh lol. Victoria got me a Dr. Pepper during World Lit which was very nice. After school I chatted with Jen and Julie some, but then came home. Oh and it was foggy driving to school this morning. It makes it nice and different. I like that sorta change. Call me weird, but really. I've also changed my room around slightly these past few days, late at night. Trying to clean it up / adult-ify the room, lol. Make it less cluttered and filled with crap. It's a nice change I have to say. The major part is, my small bureau went from having a tacky boombox and stuffed animals to holding my large picture frames and along with my camera equipment which I don't find showing off, lol. I like the way it looks now. Still have a long way to go. Did lots of work today too. Well, got things that have to be done anyway. But oh no!! I need to renew this domain now. So I shall go do that. If this site goes down for the next fews, it's due to the fact that I forgot the due date was approaching and am attempting to renew. Thanks. 9:25PM ONE Day Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 11, 2006 Power blinked twice today at school. We were all hoping it would stay off, then it might give us the chance to go home, lol. Strange, and it also happened at home too. Burnt my tongue (lol I'm getting so random) on some instant coffee flavored hazelnut that was actually pretty good, all in Photo. Ah, who cares if it's hot outside lol. We had a class meeting today, so Jen and I hurried to Burger King only to sit and wait for a long while. Hurried back and went to the room. We decided on a senior class t-shirt. Breakfast Club related since a whole of people in the grade love that movie. I'm not one of them, but whatever I'll buy it. We were trying to decide on the color of the shirt, and there are a few kids in the grade who have a color as their last name. So say, hey, exmaple: like Tom Green. We don't have someone by that name, but something along those lines. It was funny. Anywho. I worked on an Astron assignment and then in World Lit, we had our grand total of 4 again, as it was just 2 on Monday and Tues. I am soo exhausted these days too. Wow. So hard to wake up, but I'm a night person so I always think ahh, who cares, I'll stay up a few hours more because I feel fine now and soo it shouldn't be too tomorrow. ... er no. You'd think I would know this by now. I use my alarm clock to go off about 40 minutes before I actually get out of bed, because I only end up hearing it after the 3rd time or so it goes off. And then recently I've been using my cell phone as an alarm clock too. That's working well, but makes me confused when it goes off. lol. Right, so instead of going to bowling after school. Which by the way, we got our shirts. First time they are actually close to fitting. But the color, oh lol, instead of a royal blue, it's navy blue and they resemble a janitor's uniform or something. And of course, we've got our names. Oh yeah. Good try though. Thought maybe this would be our year to get a good uniform shirt (3rd try now, ahem... ) Right, so no bowling and I went to the mall instead. To search for a little something for Amber. It's her birthday tomorrow. Returning the favor of her paying, with Jamie, for my dinner for my bday. I got myself a new shirt, which I lurve. [here] Yay. I'll wear that tomorrow or the next. Went over to the bookstore in the mall to see if that guy was there. Nope. But I got the American Photo magazine. Good magazine. I came home, traffic wasn't too bad today. Heavy, but still not too bad. Right, came home, had a snack, then had dinner, worked on my Astronomy PowerPoint which kicks a lot of ass. Would you like to visit Mercury? I think you would!! Ohyes. That took forever. But Lost was awesome tonight. And so was Project Runway. Hey, I like that show. And I've still got a lot of work to do, of course, so off I go! 10:32PM TWO Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 10, 2006 Alright. I know what's wrong with me. I've managed to catch Senioritis. I just want to stop now and leave. ...lol. Ah, I have no energy left for this anymore. high school stuff. Bleh. It never ends. How about I complain about the weather some more eh? Well, it was disgusting today. Humid, and gross. Went to the Jambalaya Shoppe today with Jen and Amber came along too. I was craving it, and it was so good. Wow. It was good. haha. Today felt very long too. A lot of people checked out today to go to the memorial service they were holding for the guy I mentioned yesterday. I really don't want to get too into, especially here on the internet. I will say that I didn't go because I didn't feel like it was my place to go. I didn't know him personally, but I could have gone for his younger brother, who was in my grade and I knew fairly well. But, I didn't really want to be put in that situation again to be honest. Still shocking to think of, he was only 18, but a first year at LSU. It's too bad. I first found out on Sunday, and that reason I heard is what might have been the major cause. They are saying the papers that it was a virus, involving his heart. Maybe? I'm not even really sure. I've heard several things. Sure that could have been it, but eh from what I've heard you know. The family really is getting a lot of support which is great to see and hear. And I knew of soo many people going to the service today and a lot of people weren't sure how many could fit. I'm sure they had a big turnout. Well, not related now, I had tennis and was frustrated with it. I didn't have my partner, Jamie, because she went to the service. I was paired up with another girl I can't stand, and then somewhere during the practice I hurt a toe, my ankel and another part on my leg. Yeah, I have no idea how. Came home and then I went out on an errand for my mother. Well, I need to get going now, I've got an Astronomy assignment due tomorrow. And whoot to the fact that my college was mailed off! Vicki, I haven't seen it either, but I've been meaning to and I heard it's good. See above.

January 9, 2006 Like before, I still have a lot to do, so I'll make this quick. A fair amount of my classes today were a lot smaller due to the Physics AP class on a trip to Orlando, yes for Physics, and they will hit up the theme parks. I do wish to be doing that then being here. Ah well. Hmm, what else what else. Well. During Study Hall, I went with Tori to the gas station and she got a bottled water for Nick and Starburst for herself. Came back. The class was going to try to watch the 40 Year Old Virgin, but the teacher wouldn't let us. I wonder why.... lol. Not much really going on today. Well sorta, but nevermind. Well. A guy I knew died a few days ago, for reasons that no one really seems to know. There are a lot of ideas going around right now. It's sad. I didn't know him personally, but still knew of him and it's shocking to hear. He was in the grade above me, but his younger brother use to be in my grade. (They both transfered to another school years ago). But wow. I had dance tonight too. Eh, it was not so great on account I could not remember the dance at all. I feel so stupid in there sometimes. I came home and watched this Making Of on Glory Road, it was awesome. I taped it and will try to pause it to see I'm in there. They showed perfect clips, and mostly from the scene I saw. I'm completely excited about the whole thing, as you should be able to tell. haha. Right, well that's fine enough for now. Maybe something better tomorrow. Rose, Ah I love tennis now. It comes first on my sports. Well, other than bowling and dance, lol. Oh I've done my fair share of sports too, along with clubs. So I know where you are coming from!! Wow, didn't know that about you. That's cool! thanks for sharing that :) . Ack, noo, I feel immensely bad back pain coming on again. Gahh. Curse you strenuous activities such as tennis and hip hop. :( Not again. Crap, I've got tennis tomorrow. 8:57PM FOUR Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 8, 2006 Let's see... Woke. Showered. I must have done something, but my head is killing me right now and I just can't think. Either way, I had a mandatory tennis practice today. This, and the one next week, depending on we each do, will be the deciding factors on who makes the team. Now I say that very loosely. There are 10 uniforms available and those will be the main players and well, if you aren't one of the 10, you just don't get a uniform but you can still play. oh lmao. We don't cut at our school. But this will be as close as it gets. There were 14 girls there today. I feel like my chances are pretty high, to make it and all. I was paired up with Jamie again today and we played against the two girls we played a long while ago. This time they won, but it was very close: 7-9. It was intense. And fun. I love tennis now. Had a nice time and came home. Applied online to VA Tech State Univ and Northeastern. So yay!! All done with that!! But well not completely true. I need to follow up with my schools college person tomorrow. So I shall do that, but now I have to apply for financial aid. It never ends, lol. I was going to do some Calc this weekend, but I don't want to now and my head hurts, as I've already said. But I need to do some Stats, dammit really don't want to. Bleh. Vicki, :D thank you! That one is my fav, hence it's placement of desktop on my computer. :) Bastiaan, thanks too! Yes, I am in a movie, but you won't see me ... directly. hahaa. I was an extra for Glory Road and you can read about it here. 10:11PM FIVE Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 7, 2006 (later) Site related. I'm going to try to do a small update in Scanned tonight. Not much, I'm talking like maybe 10 pictures, lol. I have some original scans on my computer, I have to crop, edit, upload, and html it all. Which can take a long while. (cancel that. I'm sorry, it can't happen. What I do have on my computer are pictures that are already on scanned and they were only scanned again to fix them and to be bigger.) If you're interested, I updated the past layout section along with adding a my desktop picture down to the left there. It's a picture of myself I took on new years. And I realize I've been holding out on you guys and I never posted the best of those pictures so here: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] 10:47PM (later) Woke up this morning to a phone call saying to drive down to the car place because they need it after all. Dad wanted originally to just the tire and he would come home, where then I would put the new on. So I would learn. But, they needed the car to put 2 new ones on. So got up and drove over there. I then went to run errands with him. Except, I just ended up sitting in the car mostly. All of it actually. Came home, took a shower, and made some lunch. Went later to pick up my car. I then made another trip out to buy Glory Road tickets. Came home, waiting for the time to pass. I worked on the Northeastern things, and it'll be ready to be completed once I get 1 bit of information. Finally, dad and I left. It was packed and it was a good thing we got tickets earlier. I heard someone I knew, and then saw someone else. lol. Dad got a drink and we went to our theatre room. It was packed already and we were there earlier than usual. We luckily find a good seat and wait for it to start. The whole room was full. And I am willing to bet that most, and like ourselves, were in the movie one way or another. So it starts and was a little upset at the fact that the first five minutes were pretty much from the trailer. So you knew it all. But that quickly changed after that. Finally the scene I was in came. I was soo waiting for it, lol. I'm pretty sure I saw my dad at one point, and dad is pretty sure he saw himself at another point. Slightly blurry, but hey!! Better than me. No hope for Amber, who did it with me, but she was up high, where as I moved lower. I saw my general area at the end of the scene, so we'll just have to get the DVD and check every frame lol. And they cut my favorite part of the scene! The coach grabs the basketball after the team gives it to him and he like pumps it up in the air. That had soo much feeling even when they were shooting it and was really hoping to see it on the screen. But yeah, I thought it was good. Your classic inspiration story, but then again I found it to be quite different from Remember the Titans. It was good. Feel good movie. When it was over, dad and I made a few more stops and got some food. And now here I am. If you want to read my Glory Road experience, you can go here. 10:21PM --Even though it is 6 days until the film Glory Road comes out, I'm going with my dad to the prescreening tonight. I am excited and I really really hope I see myself up there. That would be major kick ass. Although, I'm leaning more towards no, not going to happen. But still wanting it! lol. And!! My cell phone still sucks, the new one. I tried sending a text message to myself from my moms cell phone, and the thing didn't go to mine. So who knows what the deal is with that. Sure some don't get through, but it's making me angry. And now I'll put a lol. Anyway. Er, going to leave soon soo, I'll bbl talking about it I'm sure. *crosses fingers* 6:11PM SIX Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 6, 2006 I really can't get up on time these days to make it on time to school. Bleh. As I was walking to Calc, first hour, I happened to look at my car and thought hm, my tire looks rather odd. So I go upstairs to drop off my things and went back down to see it. I grab Jessica who has just arrived and have her take a look. We both agree that it looks flat. ... Joy. lol. So great, now what am I going to do!? I go to class and then at the end I grab my manual from my car to read up on how to change the tire. As I have a spare and all the equipment I need. So I read up at the end of second hour and think hmm, maybe I should just get a guy to do it. Ashley tips me on that Ryan could do it. So I plan out to go to the office at the beginning of 4th hour to ask him. But I had told Amber before 2nd hour that she shall assist me in changing it. Or rather she would just sit and watch. lol. Imagine us trying to. Ah, that brings up a funny story. (So real quick on that, her keys wouldn't go into the ignition one day so she called me before I left her behind and I went back to see what was the matter. Couldn't figure it out so she happened to have some oil in car so we put some in. lmao. Still wouldn't work. So we look around under the hood, and decide it's useless as we don't know what we're looking for, so we call her mom and she drives to us and fixes the problem by just getting the car out of reverse [it was parked that way]. ahahahaha!! oh wow.) So yeah, I think we would be more successful this time around, but I had never done a tire change, so why not get someone else to do it. So I wait for her at the beginning of 4th hour and she says that she knows Bryan can change one. This would be better as we all have class right now together, so I ask him and yay he'll do it! We 3 go out to the car and I open the trunk to get everything out and Amber and I watch him how to do it. I think it was the smart thing to do lol. So now I have the lovely spare on it. And omg, I'm completely excited about it. I have no idea why. Gah, I'm such a dork. So yeah. Turns out there was a screw and a nail in it. And since they are both in the same location, dad thinks someone put it underneath my tire. Hm. I wouldn't think that, but hmm gets me thinking now. So. We get back to class and turns out a guy, Sam, saw I had a flat yesterday as I was leaving school, but didn't say anything because he thought I would respond with I know!! like in an angry manner. But um no. I didn't know. So that's nice. I actually thought my front drivers side tire was rather low yesterday. But didn't notice the back drivers side one, the bad one. So yeah. We did this glueing thing in Photo with black paper and it got allll over my hands, and for the rest of the day. Jen was worried for lunch as she knew about my tire and she didn't have her truck today, so she thought we were screwed, lol. Oh wow, no pun intended lol. But it was fine, so we went to lunch. Came back, and read more of 1984 in Astronomy. Study Hall, I did Jamie's photo thing since she had to go and I enjoyed spraying the glue out of the spray paint type can, but I only ended up getting more crap on my hands. Had a hilarious time today in World Lit and then school ended. It was a fast week, 4 days, but fast. Came home and worked on two applications that will be mailed off tomorrow: Fordham and UVM. That's exciting. So I filled everything out, wrote the essays out nicely and now I'm good on those! That's very cool. And that's it. Something interesting today! yay! Who knows, maybe I'll get a response out of this: When was the last time you've had car trouble? (flat tire, battery dead, etc) 10:46PM SEVEN Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 5, 2006 So it was a painful drive going to school today. Going the speed limit and all. lol, it just wasn't the same. And everyone else was clearly doing the same. haha. Let's see... I'm going to try to bring the camera tomorrow as I forgot it today. I'm always rushing out the door and just can't leave at my usual time because I wake up too late. Or too lazy to get out of bed. And!! Let me mention the fact that it dropped in temperature and it permitted in me wearing a long sleeve shirt. I'm excited. So what if it was like 60-70, it's better! And, I may even just have to wear a coat tomorrow. I know, crazy right? lol. Right. I began reading 1984 today during my Astronomy hour. Pretty good start despite on my only 10 pages read so far lol. Fun day in Study Hall today actually, or funny, either really. I came home after school on to realize that dammit I forgot some stuff at school. So sometime after 4 I went back and got what I needed. Came home and worked on lots. And guess what, the main college essay is finally finished! Very very pleased with that. It was quite a struggle there at the end, between my mother and myself. Then turns out, I've messed my phone up a few days ago by making all incoming calls to it go to my voicemail without ringing or anything. Finally fixed it, and you know, sure enough probably 985 people were trying to call me. Of course lol. Ah, okay well I'm going to try to get some sleep now. Getting an average of 4 hours a night, yay. Crap, forgotten something. Bye. 10:38PM EIGHT Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 4, 2006 Hello all. Feeling and doing much better today. Days come along like that every so often. My new thing is, I can't sleep at night! I've had lots of trouble for a few days now. It's more annoying than anything else! Haha, so in Stats today, we had an experiment and our class might as well be known for our odd ones at that (gummy bear launcher, etc) and this time we were timed on threading a needle. It was a question in the book and we got on the subject of oh I could beat you even though I've never done it before, lol. So today we did it! I got mine in 10 seconds, and to tell you the truth, I'm slightly ashamed, lol. I've done it so many times and got caught up, lol. Really. They have these 2 new deer crossing signs near our school and I've never seen them near that road so now every time I pass them for lunch, it just cracks me up. I want to take a picture of it's plain out of place ness. And Astronomy doesn't start until next week so that's been rather nice. World Lit is going alright so far. Talked a while after school, then came home. Was extra careful because I heard of there being lots of cops around the neighborhood this particular day. It's been a while, but saw a fair few! And I know someone who got caught on a road that I didn't think was possible, so eh, scary now. Did more work and college stuff. It should hopefully be winding up in a day or two. Rose, hi!! Always happy to see you again :) Vicki, oh yes quite! that would be soo kick ass, but thing is I don't see myself making a trip near you, but then you again you never know what could happen! 10:09PM NINE Days Until Glory Road Quote of the day: --

January 3, 2006 Early blog tonight. And I shall be making this short on account I feel terrible. I'm not sick, and I really don't think I am getting sick. But I do feel like I could throw up on the spot right this very second. Which makes no sense I know, but it's how I feel. So bleh, I'm all hot and shakey. Yuck. Anyway. Right, real quick. Back to school it was for me. Found out some grades, I find them to be good enough. Gah I can't think right now. Ehh. I went to the office to get college things straightened out. Instead of Chem Lab this semester, I have World Lit, and there are only 4 of us in the class. 3 were from my Chem class, including myself. Um, I'm going to call that to be it, and go work on some things now. Blehh. Thank you Bastiaan, ah lucky and a happy new year to you too! 6:59PM Quote of the day: "Marielle has glorious pictures of Maine = Yankee." - Tori

January 2, 2006 I don't really need to blog today on account of not much happening. Had one last late sleeping in. School resumes tomorrow. Bleh, wish I had just a few more days. Fixed my essays, fixed lots of pictures, and read today. The Turn of the Screw was to be read by my English class for tomorrow. Yet, I only read about 5 pages of it at the airport and now I'm doing the rest today, and now tonight. I've got about 27 pages left, so maybe I'll be done in about two hours. It's going to be a beast to try to get back on the school (reasonable) sleeping schedule. Not looking forward to that. As I've been going to bed from 1, then 2, and now past 3 last night. Heh. Off to finish the book! 11:15PM Quote of the day: --

January 1, 2006 ooo start of the new year! The I finally get to leave! I can't tell you how long I've waited for this moment. I at one point was counting down the days until I graduate high school. And well, the days left were like 1500. Yeah. lol. Quite day for me today. Worked a lot more on college stuff and right now I'm trying to finish up my World Geo class. I have this last lesson, then I need to get this one and the previous back from LSU and then I can take the final, and pass hopefully, probably, and I'll be done! Yay. I've also came to the final decision, to not to apply to BC, and I'll stick to my 4. Same status on the Maine page. Hope about some resolutions: ... 1) Blog even more than last year. 2) Meet Maggie or any other online person that I know! I feel like this will be the year, lol. 3) Eat healthier. Yes, so far two are the same as last year. Shut up. 4) Get out of the house and take more pictures. 5) Be frickin happy. That's good for now lol. I also have 10 free music downloads, so what I would like you to do (you're reading this, you might as well): comment below telling me a song, or two, that I should download. Include name and artist. Please. 10:29PM Quote of the day: --
