Today was a day to relax. I slept in till 9:30 again and we got breakfast at Simpson. I then read my Marketing chapter and Nick did his homework. Somehow the day went by and we watched some tv. Then we got dinner around 5 at Simpson Store. I got a turkey sandwich, with lettuce! I could barely taste the turkey there was so much lettuce lol, but at least it was healthy. Nick and I then went downtown later for some ice cream, date! And now we're watching tv, Saturday Night Live and I'm considering ordering a pizza. 11:44PM

I was too tired to blog for this day, but here it is anyway. I slept in till 9:30 and showered up. I then began my homework for the weekend and got lunch at 1 from Alice's. I finished up my homework for the day and then I met my 120 group to work on our project. After an hour I was on my way back to the dorm, but I stopped at Simpson Store for a little food. I then waited for Nick to come home. We then went to his house and it started to snow like crazy. It was strange. I hung out with his kitty and then we went to Wal-Mart. I needed some t-shirts and then we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to check out their humidifiers. I didn't find anything I liked and we came back. We stopped at the Marche for some dinner. Then back to the dorms and we hung out for a little there. Nick went to see his friends and I later met up with Brittany, Sophie, Courtney and another girl. We got a ride downtown to Pike's house. They were throwing a huge "white out party" So you wore a white t-shirt and people wrote highlighted things over you. Or mainly, my little group did lol. But it was a ton of fun. My first frat party too. I rode back to the dorms with Sophie and then their driver brought me to where Nick was. It's like a brothers against drunk driving thing they do. So that's very nice. I met with Nick and we stayed at Colin and Eddy's place for a little bit and then eventually got to the dorms later. 11:59PM

Vote above for my cousin! It's so cool of her. I hope she wins! I started my big day with 120. He has a facebook group for our class and I've made 2 comments and I think he may potentially have the wrong idea that I'm like in a feud with some other girl that's in my group. But I'm not and she's not in my group. Maybe she's in another section? I honestly have no clue but it's entertaining lol. Next was Accounting and this professor said to me, your name starts with an M, Melanie? Meridith? Who me?? Oh no lol, well kinda close. Then it was Finance and Marketing. Too many classes in a row. I took the crowded bus to the Marche and only barely got off the bus at my stop. I had some more pasta. I'm so sick of it. I did some homework and then Nick finally came over for some tv. This day I woke up, after snoozing way too much, and went to the wonderful class, Walking! Yeah. I walked two miles, but keep forgetting to watch my time to see if I'm doing it fast enough. After I came home and showered. It was snowing but not too much had fallen compared to what they had predicted. They were saying at most 14-20 inches. At the end of the day we got only about a foot. I had 173 and we did a group project, but luckily we got to pick our own. For lunch I went to the Marche for some pasta, even though I had some at home. lol. I read a chapter for Marketing and then found some food at Simpson Store. Umm I'm not sure not much else happened. 11:59PM

First I had 120, that was interesting and loud. And then Accounting we did new stuff. It's going pretty decent. And then there was Finance. That was stuff I learned last week in Accounting. And finally I had Marketing where we talked about Reebok the whole class. And then I got lunch at New World Tortilla, at 4. I sat down and lo and behold, Brittany was at the next table. When she was done with her meeting she came to sit at my table and we talked briefly. Nick got out of work to meet me. We walked home and I read a big chapter for Marketing. I made cookies and had some leftovers for dinner. Now I'm going to get to sleep as soon as possible since I'm always tired for PE. 11:11PM

I am so sick of winter. I can't even begin to tell you how dry I am. My legs are like in pain and same with like my arms chest area. But I had PE today. The previous class I couldn't find my pulse. This class I had a heart monitor on me and it said my pulse was 00. I must be dead, or as Nick said, a zombie. Afterwards I showered, and I can tell you, I do not take hot showers especially in winter. Anyway after I got out the nasty heater smell was back. And it's been so hot. I took the temperature of it with my thermometer and it's went up to 112 and couldn't go any hotter. It's awful. So I submitted a fix it for it again. And they came immediately. Good! And of course it was such a hassle. We had to pull out my bed and move all kinds of awkward stuff. They said it was really hot, tried to fix it, but I honestly don't think it did a thing. It's still very hot to the touch and my skin is paying the price. The only thing that is not hurting is my face oddly enough. I've found a good strategy for that part and that's exposed to the cold! Anyway, enough of that. I had 173 later in the day. And the stuff made sense. It was dull, but it made sense. So that's good. After I went to the Marche for some lunch and then back to the dorm to do some homework. Nick got home and we ran a few errands. I needed a money order and he wanted to go to the music store. I also needed the bank. We got home and then Sophie picked me up and we drove to Brennen's lol. It took us like 25 minutes to park. It was crazy. It only takes 10 minutes to walk haha. Courtney was with us too, sorority girls, and little freshies! Aww I feel old. Anyway so we ate and talked. Then back to the dorm and I watched some tv with Nick. Now time for bed. 11:12PM

So the heat is still hot hot. I'm giving up for good at this point. They just want to waste more money on heat. Anyway.. I got breakfast at Simpson and then Nick and I needed to go to Price Chopper. I needed some shampoo. We also looked for a winter hat for him because he lost his. All the winter stuff is gone by this point so we just went to his house to find one. I played with his kitty in the meantime. We got back and I stayed to finish my 173 homework as he went downtown to see Colin. I made dinner at 5:30 and it was wayyy too much spaghetti. I ate up and was off to my sorority meeting. It went for like 2 hours, but that's alright. I came home and finally just relaxed with Nick. Now I've got to go to bed because I've got Walking in the morning. 11:19PM

I'm not sure if my heat was fixed but it doesn't smell anymore. It's still coming out way too much for being in the off position, but it's always been that way. Oh well. Good enough. So today I got up around 10:30 and showered up. We went to Simpson for some cold breakfast. I had french toast and it actually wasn't bad. We came back and then I went with Nick to make a trade of an old laptop for a guitar. Then we came home and I did my homework, finishing Accounting and doing some 173. Then we got some dinner some hours later at the Marche. Brr. It was cold cold cold today. In fact, it's -8 right now. Not wind chill, real temp. And only yesterday it felt so good out. It was 38!! It was wonderful. Anyway tonight we drove around and Nick went to see Max as I stayed in. So here I am, getting tired. I played some Lego Star Wars. W00t. 11:42PM

I didn't have classes but I sure was busy! I woke up around 9:30. I showered and then I finished my Accounting. But then my heat began to act funny. It's on the snowflake, which is suppose to the off position, but it is just blasting. And it smells. Kind of gas like or burning dust. But it hasn't gone away yet. So I put in a fix it and then I tried to contact the office manager to speed things up. It was unbearable. I then got out and went to the Marche for some lunch. I tried doing some homework when I got back though. At 3:30 I went to see Brittany and then we cooked the chili for tonight. It was crazy. Some other girls came and went but we were in charge. I came back to the room and I don't think anyone came. Nothing was disrupted and it was still smelly and hot. Great. So I saw Nick for a little bit and then I had to go back to see Birttany and crew and we drove over to the Davis Center. Tonight was the start to recruitment. But I don't think we're participating exactly, but we got to do this part. And so we got a lot of girls' info! And our chili won 3rd overall and 1st in woman's! Yay!! That's so good. Nick came buy and we got a free half sandwich from Feel Good. Then he helped carry my twin basket back to the dorm. Now I'm pretty tired and I'm hoping to go to sleep soonish. 1159PM

Ok so today I had my giant load of classes. I somehow managed to get to 120 decently early. I thought class was canceled or something because only Stephanie was there lol. But class was fine. We did some assessment testy things. Then I had Accounting and we did the usual. That's a pretty routine class. Then I had 180 and that was also getting into a routine. And finally Marketing where I got extremely tired. After I went to the Davis Center for some New World Tortilla. I called home and then Nick met me there. I got a milkshake from Ben and Jerry's to split as we left. I worked on homework for the rest of the night, Marketing and Accounting. I watched maybe an hour of tv too. I stayed up late because I don't have classes tomorrow and so now I guess I'll just go to sleep since I don't feel like working anymore today. 11:59PM

I got a solid 8 hours and felt almost better in the morning. I had PE first and had a very tough time trying to find my pulse for today's work. Then I came back and showered. And my cell phone came!! Ahh! I was so excited. I activated it and then I had to run to class. Ooo 173 was so long. After I took the bus to the Marche for some lunch. Then walked back to the dorm and did some homework. But then I needed a 15 minute nap. Nick woke me up and I met him at the Marche for dinner. Then it was the big Lost premiere but that show is just getting too crazy. It hardly makes sense now. It was such a long day today. I had 120 first and we had a pop quiz but we didn't turn it in. I'm kind of confused about it. Then it was Accounting where we worked through more problems. I don't understand how to use the financial calculator. But since we're doing the exact same thing in Finance I finally did. By then I was starving and had a headache. I went on to Marketing and it was brutal to sit through. I just wanted to get out and eat. 4 classes in a row for 6 hours is too much. Three is perfect. But I had no choice since they only seem to offer these classes on the same day. Finally we got out and I went to return a book. I then got lunch/dinner at Brennans. Nick met me there after he got off work. We walked home and I tried to read but felt awful. I've got a killer headache and I'm going to sleep early tonight. 9:52PM

And today we had no classes! I slept in till 8. I showered and had breakfast. Then Nick and I went to go ice skate! Yeah! From like 10:20 to just after 11 we skated. It took a lot out of me but it was fun. I tried to prevent blisters, but no such luck. After we came back to school but got some coffee at the Marche. I spilled it one me. A little bit. Then I read and read and read and read. All day. I finished 173. I finished 155. And I got very far into 120. I've still got 3 chapters left though. Not bad. I had to take a nap. I was tired from the skating. For dinner Nick and I made jambalaya! It wasn't bad either. We'll probably make it one of typical meals once we move into the apartment. Now I must go to sleep. 11:37PM

First last night. We got to the cell phone store and waited 2 hours to find out I couldn't get the phone right then and there. There were some issues that the person couldn't bypass, but maybe it'll work online. Great!!! I fwas so annoyed. After all the waiting. Nick then dropped me off at Stephanie's. She fed me some beef stew of hers and then we and Claire went to see Bride Wars. The movie was cute. It's been a while since I've seen a movie in the theaters. Afterwards they dropped me off at Colin and Eddy's. And then today, I started out my day by getting cleaned up. Nick came over and we went to the Marche to get some breakfast. Well. I got some coffee and lasagna. For breakfast, around 11. lol. Then I called home and ordered my cell phone!! It worked! Then I read and finished the Lord of the Flies book. Then Nick and I went to the Verizon store so he could check out some phones. We got back and I grabbed my sorority basket and went to the meeting. We were locked out of the room but the police came and let us in. We exchanged baskets and I got a good one but it was so heavy they had to drive it back. But she never texted me to get it soo maybe tomorrow I guess. 11:24PM

And today, Saturday. I slept in till 10ish. I showered and then had breakfast at Simpson. The pancakes were hard. Yuck. So sick of this food. Then we came back to the room and I got Stephanie's glue gun from Jordan. I got my sorority basket that I had shipped to myself, but something inside broke and I needed to fix it. Then I read Lord of the Flies for a long time. I'm not done and still have around 60 pages to go. But that's alright. I have Monday off too. At 5 Nick and I will be going back to the Unicel/AT&T store to get that phone for me. Yay! Maybe an iPhone for him. He's still deciding. 4:45PM

This is my first time to not have any classes on Friday. In the business school classes run either on a Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thursday. Since I'm in 5 business classes, I get Friday off. I slept in only till 9:30 though lol. And it was -15 outside. Awful. I got dressed and did a lot of reading. Then I met Nick at the Davis Center for 2:30. We had lunch and Ben and Jerry's for dessert. We walked back in the cold cold. He wanted to read for a while so I read some more too. At last we left to do our errands. We went to the bank for me and then to Winooski and then to Staples. I need a financial calculator for Accounting and Finance. I tried ordering it online, but the people I ordered it from are out of stock and so I just canceled it and got this one. I was running out of time waiting for it. Next on the list was to go to the Unicell/AT&T store. They have the Eternity phone I so desperately want. So hopefully I'll be able to get that in the near future. Then we went to Nick's house where one of my 4 books arrived. One then was canceled even when I asked them to send it to the correct address. Hopefully the other 2 will make it. Then we went to Price Chopper and got some much needed food. I was so out of things in my room. We got back to the dorms and brought it all in and got settled. We stayed in for the rest of the night. 11:59PM

I slept in till 8 and got ready for my big day of classes. I started out with 120, not HR but actually Management. lol oh well. We formed into groups of 6 and started working on our group project. Already. I hate group projects and we've got 6 people. Wonderful. Our teacher named everybody off before we left and that was impressive. Then I went to Accounting where the professor actually taught us how to do things. It could be a good semester for Accounting. We'll see though when a test comes. Then I had Finance and that professor got his PhD at LSU. That totally blew me off guard. And finally I had Marketing Comm. The book is dull but I'm still figuring out the class. I sit all by myself, lol. After I took the bus back to the Marche in order to have lunch. I got a meatball sub and ate there. Can't carry it back in this cold weather. I missed two buses on the way back to the dorms, so sad. I tried to do homework but I think I ended up taking another little nap. I did some reading though. I watched The Office later. 11:59PM

Oh it's hard to wake up for these 8:30 classes. Once I managed to get up, I got ready I bundled wayyyy up because it was like -1 out felt like -15. I got to the gym and do my PE. It was good. We walked a lot today. I thought I'd get even more sore, but looks like I'll be ok this time. Then I walked back and showered. I did my Marketing reading and then finally went to POM class. We had to do a stupid group case. I don't like anything that has to do with groups. After I got lunch at New World Tortilla. For some reason it was packed and I barely found a place to sit down and eat. I don't know what I would have done. I can't walk back because my food would freeze! Once I was done I came back and tried to read my Marketing some more. I've got a ton. But I was just so tired I had to take a nap. I messed up setting my clock so I slept for an hour instead of just 30 minutes. It felt good though. I got up and did another chapter of Marketing. Now I'm reviewing a movie we watched in HR the other day. We'll probably be quizzed on it or something and he seems really into detail. More than he should. 9:14PM

I woke up at 8 and got ready. I still had a headache from yesterday but luckily it went away as the day got started. I first started off with 120, or HR, with Stephanie. We watched a film to start off the class. Then it was Accounting. I can't tell how these classes will be on the first day though. Whether it will be tough or kind of easy, or tolerable. Then I had some time to waste so I went to the Atrium for a very quick lunch. Then it was 180, or Finance, aka hardest class ever. So we'll see how that goes. I had more time to waste so I went with Nick to get his lunch. And finally I had my Marketing Communications and that was class was soo empty. But it seemed good. We watched ads. I took the bus back to the dorm to get my credit card and then back to the bookstore to buy a $200 book. Waste of money. Then it was time to read and read. We got dinner at 6 and then back to reading until 10. Now Nip/Tuck is on! 10:04PM

Happy Birthday to Amber today! And my day involved going to my first day's of classes. I woke up at 6:30 and took a shower. I then went to my PE class, Walking for Fitness. Hellz yeah. And actually, I'm sore! We had to do crunches, push ups, lunges, yikes. I'm definitely in it though. I came back and didn't feel like showering. I mean I didn't sweat really. I relaxed and then I took the bus to Alice's. I got a bagel and then went to class after I saw the bookstore line was gigantic. I had 173, or Operations Management. It was not that thrilling. I luckily knew some of my group from my Marketing class, so that was good. I walked to the bookstore and got close to $500 in books. I'll return them once the others get delievered to Nick's house. My problem is, the one I have homework in, is sealed soo I don't know if I should open it or just wait. Because if I open it I can't return it. So I guess I'll wait. I got a headache after carrying all of those books back and so I tried to take a nap. Nick brought up my mail, I had a lot! And he did homework as I rested. He came with me to get dinner at the Marche and then we watched a little tv. I got to paint his toe nails! hehe. 10:59PM

And today we got up at a nice time and had breakfast. When it was time we finally went to the dorm. I had a lovely surprise in the fridge. Mold and grossness. I never have a problem, I don't get what happened. Oh well. It's clean and doesn't smell now lol. I unpacked and then Nick and I watched a movie for several hours. Then we went downtown so I could exchange a shirt for a bigger size. Then we saw Colin and his roommate crew for a few hours. I got a sandwich at KKD and then back up to the dorms we went. We watched a little tv and now I'm glad it's time for bed! Classes start tomorrow. Ahhh! I hate trying to find classes on the first day. And due to a huge mishap with shipping my books, I don't have any yet! Ack! So I need to buy some other tomorrow anyway. 11:22PM

Alrighty. So this day I got up at like 10, because I didn't have to worry about rushing to an airport! My times changed so I got to take my time. But right at the end, I was rushing. Mom drove me there and I checked in fine. We said bye and I went to my gate. I also bought a magazine. I flew to Atlanta and got there a little early. So I went to my next gate and waited and waited. I was hoping to get in because there was snow, but I made it just before! I landed right before 9 in Burlington and got all of my luggage! What luck! Delta and Atlanta! Wowie. Nick picked me up and I got some dinner at Burger King because McDonalds was packed. We stopped at Colin's for a tiny bit and then I was exhausted so we went to his house. 11:08PM

I've got a lot to catch up on. I've been away in Las Vegas as a late birthday trip. It was a lot of fun. So on Sunday the 4th, we got up pretty early and went to the airport. My name was spelled wrong on the ticket so I had to go through extra security. But everything was fine. The first plane was late, but we still had enough time to get to our next plane in Dallas. We took off on our next long flight and that was fine. We finally landed in Las Vegas. Now hopefully our luggage made it. Yay, it did! We found the taxi area and went to the hotel, at the Bellagio. We checked in and got our bags delivered. Then we went down to play. It was hours and hours that went by before they carded me. Overall I ended up losing around 6 dollars of my budget for the day, out of 80. So not bad. I played a lot, that's just how it came out. We also had some dinner at the Snacks restauranty place. The next day, Monday the 5th we woke up at like 5:30am. We were still stuck on Baton Rouge time. Dad and I went down to have breakfast at the buffet. It was pretty good. You get pretty dehydrated there. I had never experienced anything like it. So I had to really drink up during food times. Once mom was ready we set out to see some other casino's. We walked to Caesars Palace and had lunch. Then we played for a tiny bit. We looked at the shops, but I didn't want to do any shopping, sadly I would never get a real chance to do it. We then walked to the Mirage and explored that casino. I had some success but lost it all lol. We had enough of that and went to Ballys. I didn't do well there either and eventually we just walked back to our hotel. We played a lot more there and then had dinner at the buffet place. And played some more after that. Tuesday, the 6th we got up around 7. We weren't too hungry because of last night and so we just went out to a casino. We went to the other direction this time. We stopped at New York New York and then went to Excalibur briefly. We were hungry so we just moved on to the Luxor. We had some lunch and it was pretty decent. We played there and then went to the Tropicana. I had some success there finally and then we went to MGM where I kinda did ok. On the way back we stopped at M&M World and I got some M&Ms. It was neat. We walked all the way back and stopped to watch the fountains. It was something you just had to do, so we did it. It was pretty neat, but I later would realize that they have several different songs the water dances too. For some reason I thought it would be just 1. Soon it was time to go to our first show. We saw Bette Midler and it was good. Expensive drinks, so I only got a water. She was funny and after we went back to the hotel to gamble for a little bit. The next day, Wednesday the 7th we woke up around the same time again. Dad and I went to eat breakfast and then we went to Paris. I didn't do so great. Next was the Flamingo and while I was playing penny slots, I won $60! It took 20 minutes for the machine to count it, so slow. It was 6000 pennies after all. Then we went to the Venetian and had some lunch. We played a little bit but then we took the bus downtown. We played at the Golden Nugget and I had some success there. My favorite machines are the ones that have bonuses and progressive. I actually got a $23 progressive, so that was exciting. We took the bus back up with the creepy bus. We got out and went back inside. Then Dad and I had to go to our show, David Copperfield. It was really neat. I tried to figure it out, but no luck. We took the bus back to the hotel and mom and I played a little bit before it was time to go to sleep. The next day, Thursday the 8th, we had to wake up early to get to the airport. We left 15 minutes late but made it up in the air. We landed in Dallas and went to the next gate. That left on time and soon we were in Baton Rouge. We drove home and then mom and I went back out to get some groceries and dinner. I was exhausted and went to bed kind of early. Today I had to wake up early again because I had a dentist appointment. I feel like my gums just bled the whole time. Ouchies. Then I rushed to the eye doctor. I'm thinking about getting the lasik procedure done while I still can. It'd be a world of a difference, but I need to time it with some breaks. I then went to another doctor and then to Wal-Mart. Finally I got some lunch at McDonalds and was extremely tired. I ate when I got home, but we then needed to pick up Lexi from jail. I also needed to mail my sorority basket that I had been working on. Once back at the house I rested by watching some taped tv and then I fell asleep for about an hour and a half. I needed that. Then we had dinner and now here I am. I need to pack now though because I'm off to Vermont tomorrow. Hopefully the snow won't stop me. 8:31PM

I did quite a bit today. I got up and showered. Then dad and I brought puppy to jail for a while. We went to the library and then home. I then had to go meet Jamie and Amber for lunch at Chili's. We had a nice time and I got my usual chicken crispers. I came home and then began to pack. I watched a movie and talked to Nick a lot. I got this website thing all straightened out, yay! And now I hope I can talk to Nick before I go to sleep early tonight. I'll be on a short hiatus in the mean time. 8:39PM

Alrighty. So I accomplished a number of things today too. In the morning I went to Office Depot and Home Depot. I then washed clothes. I finally cleaned up and scaled back this website. It turns out I had about 1 GB of spam email. Which is quite annoying because I deleted more than I needed. Oh well. I could put it back without a problem if I wanted to though. I wrote come cover letters and I finished sewing, stuffing and painting the pillow. It looks really awesome. I'm very pleased. 10:28PM

Yesterday I got up, did some random things, and then Mom and I went to a hair place and then to Michael's. I got basket supplies and then we ate at LaMadeliee's and then to the mall. I got some nail polish there. We picked up a pizza on the way home. I decorated my basket, it's cute. Today I made cupcakes, backed up the website and watched a movie. I saw Jamie and Amber for just over an hour. I came home for dinner and then had a date night with Nick. We webcamed and had fun. 10:03PM
