I woke up at 9 and got ready. I had breakfast and did a little homework, but soon had to leave to walk up to the Davis Center. From 12-4 we hada recruitment workshop. It was longgg. Luckily we got out about 30 minutes early. Once I came home, Nick and I went out to Price Chopper to get our grocceries. They were pretty busy and checking out took forever. We put our stuff away and I finished my reading. Then I called home to decide on which senior pictures to buy. I had leftover jambalaya for dinner and before I kenw it, I was driving back up to campus in order to have our weekly sorority meeting. It was a long day and people began to get catty. I came home a tad after 10 and I watched some tv before going to bed. 10:45PM

January 30, 2009
I slept in as much as I could but got up and began the day. We made pancakes for breakfast and then began our homework. I did a lot of reading for hours and hours. I nearly finished it, but had to go do laundry. We drove there and sat around for an hour. It was very busy and I was worried I wouldn't get a dryer, but everyone worked out. We stopped at Big Lots because Nick wants a new cushion for his chair. Apparently it's too hard and it's starting to hurt him lol. We didn't find anything good enough and just came home when the laundry was done. We had made jambalaya for lunch and I snacked on that a little more. We watched a whole bunch of tv that we had DVR-ed from previous nights. Eventually we did go out and met up with his friend Travis at the bar, What Ale's. But they wanted to go to places that had covers so we left. It was also another very cold night! My nostrils were frozen shut! Oh and your hair gets icicles on it from your breath! It's cool. 11:50PM

January 29, 2009
Friday was kind of a busy day for me. I got up and got ready for classes. I first had History and then grabbed a little lunch at the Atrium. I had a cheeseburger and fries. I had Beer class and then came home. Brr it sure is cold outside! I waited for Nick to come home. Once he did he dropped me off at Katy's apartment. She doesn't live conveniently close. There were some more sorority girls there. I came kinda late to this meeting, but still helped around. We were making chili for the big chili cook off that was tonight! When we were pretty much done, I left with Emily and Sophie. They wanted to run to Michael's but I said I would do anything to make sure I got a ride home lol. I saw the moon too! It was huge!!! So we stopped at Michael's and then at Harris Millis briefly. At last we were back at our apartments. I said bye to Emily and Sophie and went inside to have a little grilled cheese dinner with Nick. I hung out there with him for a few hours. Eventually it was time to ride back up to campus with Emily for the chili cook off. We arrived just in time. We split into groups and tried to recruit some women, but there weren't many interested people. But! For the second year in a row now, we won First in Woman's!!! Yay yay! By the time it was over (midnight), I met up with Nick at the Davis Center and got a ride back downtown with him and his friends. Oh, and it was one degree outside, with a wind chill of -22 all along. It was a miserable day. We hung out with Amy, Darby, and David for a little bit, but I was tired and we came home around 1. 11:22PM

January 28, 2009
I got up and got ready. I've been working on this one web design assignment any opportunities I have to work on it, and in the morning has been a prime time to do it. I did go to class at 11:30 though. I then rushed over to Votey to try and claim a computer in lab, but people were already there. Finally they were kicked out and I sat down. We did our work and it turned out kind of neat. It got a little frustrating at times though. Meanwhile outside we could see this little blizzard occuring. Luckily by the time we got out it had stopped and there was about an inch of snow on the ground after just an hour. Nick and I walked home and I did some work, but really wanted to take a nap so I did that for an hour. We had our late class and got out after we took a quiz, which I know I did well on. It was cooollldd walking home. My fingers were so cold. And it was icey. We made chicken and pasta roni and later went back down to AT&T so Nick could get his new phone. We were successful this time and were out of there in maybe 30 minutes to an hour. We came home and I watched Project Runway as he fiddled with his new gadget. 6:35PM

So I tried waking up after Nick, which I did not like. Despite the extra sleep, I felt rushed. So I will just wake up early. So today I had Hisstory and then read a book in between class in the Davis Center. I also bought a senior t-shirt that is a "Remember When..." such and such happened. It's actually kinda cute what they came up with and a lot of events happened during our freshman year! I'll post it one of these days. I came back to Rowell for beer class and got some points for being there. After I walked home and did some homework. Nick came home and we later walked up for class at night. It was a lab night and it went well. It took a while to figure things out, but I accomplished all of my work and we got to leave early. We walked home and made dinner: chicken and rice a roni. We walked downtown because Nick wants an iPhone and we found out all the information they need, but we could not complete it in one trip, go figure. So we came home and just watched Nip/Tuck. 6:31PM

January 26, 2009
Tuesday. I got ready and first had BSAD 191. It's interesting class, covers a lot of stuff we've already been taught but that's ok. I then ran over to Terrill to have my Visual Basic class. I like programming much better than Python. You just see your results in a pretty and simpler form. After that Nick and I went to Kalkin to fill out our intent to graduate forms. We also got our signatures from an MIS professor since our requirements are all messed up. The MIS department is lacking as of late so we have to go take more class within the Computer Science major. That's what I'm doing this semester. They would rather us stay in the BSAD school I'm sure, but I'm getting some good skills out of it so I don't mind. We then stopped over at the Arts & Sciences building for Nick to see if he has to do a similar form for his History major. That one was online. And the building was neat on the inside. First time in there! Well we walked home and did our homework. He went to class and I took an hour nap lol. I met back up with him for Python. That went by quite quickly. We came home and Nick and I made dinner: some mahi mahi. Eh, it was ok. I liked last week's fish better lol. When we were done with work we watched some tv and that was it. 11:17PM

January 25, 2009
I woke up at 8 still trying to work out a good time to wake up so I can get ready and Nick can too ithout us overlapping too much on time. This time kind of worked out, but I could sleep in an extra 40 minutes if I wanted to wait for him to get out first. Maybe I'll try that Wednesday. I first had History class and we at last had a normal class. We did get out early though. I sat down in this other room thing and did a little soduko because I didn't have any homework to work on. I also read some of my Food & Wine magazine. I also went to get some pudding as a little snack from the Atrium. Then I had my Beer class and that was good. There are so many people in there it starts to get hot and humid in the room. After I walk home and waited for my next class to roll around. I went to my CS 148, or web design class for the first time today. It was longg, 3 hours. But I did get to see Sarah, the accounting friend and I hadn't seen her yet this semester. That was nice. The class seems fine. I think it's definitely going to be one of my more challenging classes. I walked home and Nick and I had leftovers from the night before: pizza. It was tasty. We watched a tiny bit of tv after doing some homework and called it a night. 11:12PM

I finished off my ready that I had for the weekend, early in the day. When Nick was up and ready to go, we went out to Price Chopper for our weekly grocery shopping. We came home and I played some Wii. Nick and I then went to meet up with mom for an early dinner. We each got individual pizzas and they were very good. She also gave us some presents to open up later that were from Christmas time. We drove home and before I knew it I had to go up to campus for my sorority meeting. I drove. Meeting was long since it was the first one of the semester. I came home and watched some Sunday shows with Nick: Big Love and Kardashians. 11:08PM

When we were all dressed and ready, Nick and I went to my bank to deposit some things. On the way back to the apartment we stopped at Starbucks. I used up the rest of my gift card on a cold drink even though it was 5 degrees outside lol. We sat and had our drinkies. We walked back to the apartment and did some homework. We watched some tv stuffs and eventually it was time to go over to his dads house. We got some things there and visited for a little while. I brushed his kitty. We left and went back home until it was dinner time. We went out to Roque's! Nick paid :) We left very full and with a ton of leftovers. I watched the movie Be Kind Rewind and then watched tv in bed. 10:58PM

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday isn't working out so well in the morning. Nick and I get up at the same time and we're fighting over the shower and privacy time lol. I may just have to wake up 10 minutes sooner so I can get in and out first. Otherwise, if I wait until he's out, then I may run out of time. I went up for my History class. I know two sorority girls in a class of 220. I was also singled out for being the only person from the South in that class. The professor asked where I was from and why I came up here lol. That never gets old. My next class was Beer class. The professor there thought I was someone else and kept calling one me by some name and I was just like what? Oh you think that's me? Ok. Well I still knew the answer, but that was another huge class I talked in front of! After class I met up with Sophie in Brennan's to have lunch. I got some pancakes but that wasn't very filling so I ate the bacon too. I don't care for bacon all that much though. I came home around 3 to clean up the apartment because we were to have another showing, but no one ever showed up. Oh well. Fine with me. I had leftovers for dinner, called home, and watched tv and played games. 11:33PM

I got up and got ready for class at 11:30. We were in a new room and it was much better. I'm more familiar with the new location. Once class got out I met up with Nick for our next lab in Votey. Our lab didn't last long because we are awesome and went all out on our little project lol. We left after about 25 minutes and walked home. I did my reading and then later went back up for our nightish class. It was a regular class, for 21. She doesn't want us to follow along on our computers which is kind of annoying. Because I normally would and it allows me to learn it better. But they don't want to see a computer in sight, and this is computer science after all! Nick and I walked home together and made meatball subs for dinner. We did a little more reading and then watched our Thursday night tv. 11:28PM

Second first day of classes was today. I got up at 8:15. I slept much better. I tried to just relax and before I got into bed I stretched my muscles out a little. I got ready and I first went up to campus for History. Nick has had this professor before and he never teaches on the first day. And that was the case this time as well. That's cool and all, but I walked 15-20 minutes up in snow and ice to sit down, receive a syllabus, and then leave. Since I got out early, I had nearly two hours that I had to waste sitting around. Luckily I did bring a book with me to read. I got some lunch when I finished reading at the Atrium. Then I went to Beer class. I knew what to expect because I went to this very same class last semester, but then I dropped it to alter my schedule around. But I'm back in it this semester to take it the whole semester. It was the exact same. I left and came home. I did some reading, but felt tired so I took a little nap. Nick woke me up when it was time to go back up to campus for our night class. These night classes suck. When I come home in the afternoon I don't get these sense of completion, or that my day is done. Because I know I have to turn around and go right back up for some more. Tonight was our 21, Python, lab. It was a little chaotic because there were more kids then computers. We eventually worked it out and got to work doing an assignment that was easy and only took an hour. Nick and I left to walk home. We made pizza and then did more reading. I've caught up and finished my homework so here I am. We'll watch a little tv, but then it's off to bed. 8:46PM

Last first day of classes! Sort of. I've got different classes everyday. Well after my terrible night of sleep I woke up at 9. I felt a little tired, but not as bad as I had expected. I got into the shower and had breakfast. The mail came and my package came. Dad had ordered a new camera for me since mine broke back in Las Vegas. It's tiny. A lot smaller than I expected. But I can tell it takes some nice pictures, so I'm pleased. I had to go to class though. First I had BSAD 191, strategy and competition. It was a building I had never been in before: Perkins and the classroom sucked. I knew some people in the room, but no real friends. He said we would only be there for a little bit, but we were there for almost an hour lol. The class was eh, ok. The professor tried to be cool by comparing business to sex, or something to sex, I don't know. I always think that's unnecessary. They just try to keep kids' attention. I got out and bought a book at the bookstore. I ran into Nick, yay! We had to go all the way to the 4th floor of the Davis Center in order to find a place to sit and eat lunch. I relaxed because I was exhausted from all the stair climbing lol. Then we went to our next class, CS 014, visual basic. It seemed a little interesting, but I think it's going to be a really easy class. I'm not complaining though. We got out a little early. So I convinced Nick to come home for a few hours. I had some lunch and we did some reading. Later I walked back up for my final class, a night class. It's CS 021, python. Like the earlier one, it's a programming class. It's an intro class so there's a lot of young-in's / freshman, so she really dumbed it down for us. She wants us to bring calendars to class and see our work and print out all of the documents and info. As Seniors, Nick and I certainly don't need to do this and it'd be a waste of paper. We already have a system that works for us and that has been working. But I can see why she would say that to the young boys who are nerdy and seriously need to start maturing or they will be in trouble. I think it will be a fairly easy course as well. I walked home with Nick and I made dinner: spaghetti and veal balls. I did some more reading I had and now we're about to watch some American Idol auditions and our taped Cake Boss. 9:18PM

Today is a school holiday so I slept in. Nick and I didn't leave the apartment today. We watched some movies and tv that he had gotten for Christmas. I had cereal for breakfast and a grilled cheese for lunch. They were yummy. Later we made fish for dinner. Yep, that's right. We had a hot and spicy crab cake, which I didn't like. But I tried it!! And we had a Cajun spiced tilapia fillet, which I did like. We had some Monday night shows: Heroes, Cake Boss, Hoarders. However, when it was time to go to sleep. I couldn't. It was absolutely awful. My left calf muscle was feeling strange and I was worried it was going to go into a spasm. That's what kept me awake, trying to find a comfortable position for it. I got into bed at 11. I finally fell asleep around 1:30/2. And then woke back up at 3. I didn't fall back asleep until 4. It was awful. 9:07PM

First we went out to get groceries. I had a donut when I got home. Then we went downtown to do some belt shopping. We first stopped at Banana Republic, but it wasn't what he was looking for. We went in and out of a few stores but eventually ended up in Macy's. He wanted a belt that would allow the belt buckle to be removed, but we couldn't find anything. Instead he got a reversible belt that is both black and brown. Which is probably more what he needs haha. Two belts in one. We came home and then watched some tv. We made chicken rice a roni and I began to watch the Golden Globes. We went over to our friend's place for the night, and came home a bit after midnight. Tomorrow we have the day off, but we begin school on Tuesday. 9:50PM

We slept in, and got started late. We had breakfast and got ready. We went out to do some laundry in the afternoon. It took quite a while. Afterward we went to McDonalds for a big snacky. Oh and Nick's car door got stuck so he had to climb in and out through the passenger side lol. We came home and watched the Tenacious D Documentary and concert he got for Christmas. It was a good night. We just stayed in and watched new things. 9:44PM

I slept in until about 10:30. I had breakfast and stuff. I called mom and then played some Mario Wii. I looked up a ton of apartments online and found that's really awesome, but it's got a bad start date, so we'll see if we can work something out. But I searched for apartments for hours today. I later made some mac and cheese for dinner and watched Dollhouse and that was it. 11:59PM

I didn't do much today while Nick was at work. I mostly played Mario on Wii for hours. When Nick did get home we went to Staples to get some school supplies like folders and notebooks. Then we went to Best Buy because Nick had a fee $5 to spend, so he got a blu-ray movie. We then went to his dads house to drop some stuff off. I brushed his kitty. He has such a thick and big fur coat for winter this year. We soon left and we went to his bank and then just came home. We made dinner: pork chops and salad. Since it was Thursday we watched Community, Parks, and the premiere of Project Runway was on! And we finally get it in HD which is exciting. 11:57PM

I slept in till about the same time. I got up and got ready. I watched a movie Nick wanted me to watch. Then I played my new Mario Wii game. I began to lose so I quit that and made some lunch. Then a book came for me. And then I watched what Nick had DVRed for me, Nip/Tuck and Big Love. Nick came home and we went out on a date! We first went to Outback and had dinner. It was yummy. We also got a brownie sundae and it was amazing. Probably the best I've had up here. We left and then went to the movie theater in Essex to see Sherlock Holmes. It was pretty good. I liked it. We came home just in time for Nip/Tuck. It was a fun night. 11:35PM

I got up after Nick left for work. I cleaned up, had some breakfast and then did some cleaning/organizing/tidying around the apartment. I put all kinds of receipts away and then I vacuumed, which was a huge task, but the place looks so much better now. One of my books arrived by mail. When Nick got home we waited until about 4:40 and we left to go view an apartment complex. It was nicer than I expected and will definitely be a contender. It had a dishwasher, two underground parking spots, central air and heat, which are included in rent. Nice. It looks like we'll more than likely stay in Burlington next year. Something else could come along, but I highly doubt it now. We left and then went to the grocery store. We got our food and then got some gas. We came home, unloaded the groceries and then made dinner. And two more of my books showed up by UPS. We tried to compare that apartment complex to our landlords complex we saw a month or so ago, but they are practically the exact same, with features and cost, so it may come down to what's available. I woke up at 4 to get ready to fly back to Burlington. I showered, had breakfast, and then began to pack. When we were about to go, puppy was throwing a fit and really wanted to come with us. She wanted to ride in the car lol. We got to the airport and then mom and I checked myself in. I then went up to security and said bye and went on through. I went to the souvenir type store they have up there and bought Nick some hot sauce with an alligator claw on it. He had asked for another. I stuffed it into my backpack and then waited for my plane to arrive. It did and we loaded on. They actually de-iced us here, how strange. I didn't think they even had the equipment to do it lol. Some seats were empty. The sky was totally clear so I watched as we flew to Houston. I saw a lot! We landed and I went to my next gate. I went to the bathroom and when I came out it was time to board. That flight was full. We left late because there was some kind of weight issue and the meter wasn't working. I don't know, something weird like that. And the older lady next to me was really annoyed I had the cold air on me, and she was cold. But I was hot and kept complaining to her son in front of her. I kept it on though, I mean, it was blowing on me. We at last landed and I walked down to the next gate. It was snowing in Cleveland and I was worried I wouldn't get out. But we boarded anyway and the de-icing took forever!! First they did a pink spray, which I see all the time, and then the next spray was green on the wings. That was interesting. Anyway we took off and landed in Burlington a hour later. Yay! I made it! I met up with Nick once I was out of the terminal and we went to wait for my luggage. Twenty minutes later (probably a record, for shortest amount of time) we left to go to the car. Earlier, he had an interview at UVM and it went well so I said we should go celebrate by going to Friendly's haha. Pretty no one was there, but they still took a while to bring us our food. It was yummy though. We eventually left and came back to the apartment. We can't park in our spot because there's this like giant 3 foot icicle hanging right above the hood, but it's 2 stories up. We go inside and I unpack all of my goodies. I give Nick some present and he gives me some too. We watch some tv and then call it a night. 11:57PM

I slept in till 10 and it was so nice. Nick woke me up with a phone call, but it was nice and we caught up. He's been in Maine for his friends wedding. I showered and then went with dad to Wal-Mart for a few things. We also stopped at Jay's Donuts for some tasty donuts. I ate them when we got home. I then started two big loads of laundry. Mom came home early. She made spaghetti and balls for dinner. We watched some tv and then I packed. I tried to go to sleep early, but I couldn't do it. I had too much on my mind. 9:50PM

I only managed to sleep in until about 8:30. I got up and showered. I had breakfast and did some random things. I was going to help pick up the dog, but time ran out and I had to be leaving in order to meet Jamie, Amber, and Jen for lunch. I left around 11:30 and got to LaMadeliene's at noon. Jen had forgotten and arrived late lol. But we had a good lunch and caught up on some stuff. Then Jamie suggested we walk around the corner to Charming Charlie's which is an accessory store. I had never been there. They had some cute things, but I didn't need any of it. Jamie and Amber got some headbands. I'm not really a headband person lol. We took a picture and then said bye. Oh and I checked out Jamie's new car that she had gotten like 4 months ago, maybe more than that. I then went to Best Buy to check out digital cameras in person. I had tried to operate on my camera last night, but there was no luck. I couldn't figure it out and don't want to put in money to fix it. Especially since the camera was totally flaking out on me the entire trip. For months it took two tries to get it to turn on. And then it froze while I was trying to take pictures and couldn't be fixed until I took out the battery. And yesterday was truly the first time I had dropped it. So I don't know what it's deal was earlier to yesterday. Anyway I got a good idea what I wanted. I'm going back to Canon, the one I had was a little Kodak, but I like Canon much more. That's the brand I'm loyal too. Anyway I came home after that. I relaxed around the house for the rest of the day and even took a little nap. We had Outback for dinner and I was the Kardashian show I had missed on Sunday and I watched the new Dollhouse. That was it! 11:06PM

I woke up at 6 in order to get ready for our flight. I did just that and packed up the rest of my things. I was trying to take a picture of Moo Katie since it's our new thing to take her everywhere and get a picture of her in a different location. Anyway, as I was trying to get one of her with Las Vegas in the background, I dropped my camera lens first onto a glass table. Well the lense kinda snapped and came out of place. I got it to shut, but it wouldn't come back out. So I broke my camera and I'm really upset. I took the picture with my cell phone and left. We left the room and checked out around 8:30 and took a taxi to the airport. We checked in smoothly and went through security fairly quickly as well. Then we had a lot of time to pass so mom and I wandered around in the shops and decided to get breakfast at this diner. We went back to dad to get him and we all ate at the diner. I had french toast, yum. I decided to play the slots one last time and tried the lovely 5 cent wheel of fortune. I walked away with two extra dollars! haha. We boarded the plane and left relatively on time back to Houston. It got bumpy occasionally on the flight and I was freaking out as usual. It was a 2.5 hr flight, much better coming back then going to Las Vegas time-wise. We walked to the next gate when we landed and waited for a little while. At last we walked down the long hallway and got to our plane. It only took 40 minutes, which was nice. But as we came over the river it was very very bumpy and I was so scared. We made it though, yay! Mom and I went down to get the luggage as dad got the car. The luggage came out very quickly, probably the fastest ever. Then I went outside to look for dad. He came and we began to drive home. We picked up some dinner as dad grabbed a few items at Wal-Mart. We came home, ate, and unpacked. I had a lot of email to catch up on! 90! I feel special when I have that much lol. I'm glad to be home even though Las Vegas was a lot of fun. 10:56PM

I slept in as late as I possibly could. I was sleeping on and off from about 6-8:30. But that was certainly better than previous mornings. I got up, showered, had some coffee and went downstairs to play for a little bit. My ticket didn't want to come out and dad was stuck trying to find someone to help out. This took forever, but finally I managed to pry the thing out myself. I wasn't doing too well so we just went up to wait for mom. At last we left the room to begin the day. First we walked over to Caesar's Forum Shops because I wanted to do a little shopping. We wandered around and went into a few stores here and there. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, nothing special, but it was a good enough lunch. We continued to shop and look around. I tried on some pants and they offered free altering and promised to have them back by 5. And it was maybe noonish. That's pretty good. So I ended up getting them. We eventually left that mall area and went across the street to the Flamingo since I won 6000 pennies there last year. That machine was gone and I didn't do too well there this time. We left and went to Bally's. There was some kind of like bang or shot that went off near mom and I and this attendant guy came over to me because he thought I did it. I was caught off guard and was like noo I didn't do it. I didn't like that guy. Made my angry that he was trying to blame me. Noo. I didn't do too well there either. Well we left and went out front of the Bellagio to watch the fountains go off at 4. It was cool and I taped it with my camera. We went in and got some gelato as a snack and I talked to Nick. He received my packages. I also got the call that my pants were ready so mom and I walked back over to the store to pick them up. I tried them on one last time and was quite satisfied. Back at the hotel we looked around in some of their shops. I got some souvenirs and we went back up to the room to relax for a little while. Eventually we came back down and played some more for the last night. Around 8 or 9ish we had dinner at Cafe Bellagio and that was very yummy. I had a club that was pretty large and covered in delicious fries. Mmm! We went back up to the room after that and called it a night. 10:51PM

Sadly I was up again at 6. I really wanted to sleep in because I was exhausted from walking around. I had a coffee and got ready. I played a little downstairs as mom got ready. We left and walked in the other direction. We took the tram to the new CityCenter. We landed in Crystals, the new and big shopping area. It seemed cool, but all of it's lines, angles, and shapes within the architecture gave me vertigo and made me dizzy. We walked out of there and went to Aria, their casino. It was nice and new, but nothing special. I didn't do that well. I was low, but won kind of a big bonus on Jackpot Party, another new favorite game of mine. We left though and got some drinks at a CVS. We walked more and took a little tram from outside of Excalibur's to Mandalay Bay, but didn't get off. At last it turned around we got off at Luxor for some lunch. We ate at the same spot we ate at last year. I got cheese sticks and pancakes and nearly ate it all. I was so so so full. I played, but lost. I don't care for Luxor's casino, it's too open and not all that updated to me. We left and took the tram back to the corner of the intersection in order to pass Tropicana and go to MGM. I talked to Nick for a little bit in there and then began to play. I wasn't doing all that well. Then I played my lovely Wheel of Fortune game and got my money back at up! We stayed there for quite a while I believe. Eventually we left because we were just done and tired and hungry. We began our walk back and stopped at the M&M store. I got an expensive bag of M&M's and then walked back over to Aria hoping to find some dinner. We wandered that huge place and found nothing. It was either too much or too little in options for food. As in too fancy or didn't have anything we really wanted to eat. It's a nice place, but it's just huge and you could wander that place for days and still not see it all. It's too big I think. We took the tram back to the Bellagio and unloaded our goods (M&M's). We sat down for a little bit and then went back downstairs to eat dinner. We settled for sandwiches at the little Gelato place. They were fine, filled me up. We played for a little more but called it a night at 9:30 lol. Overall, I had lost a little more, but really not bad at all, maybe around $60. 11:59PM

We woke up at 6. I was anxious to get the day started and play more slotties. I eventually got into the shower to get ready. The light was burnt out in the shower, but it was ok to me. We got ready and then left for the day. I had played with dad a little as mom was getting ready. But anyway, we went to Caesar's in order to get some lunch, but they didn't open until 11. So we played and lost, because I don't like the games there. Dad and I got pizza and mom couldn't get her sandwich, but got a salad instead. Then we walked outside to get to the Mirage. I was doing pretty well, as in getting bonuses on the slots and winning a little bit of money, but everyone else wanted to leave. How sad. We took the tram next door to Treasure Island. I hadn't been there before. I sat down at this Gold Fish game and it was a lot of fun. Tons of bonuses! There was this other lady next to me at a similar gold fish machine and she was doing well too. Well I had kinda lost my $20 after a while, but I wanted to try to win it back so I took my chance at a dollar machine and bet max and got 2 free spins on this bonus round! And it first landed on 70 and then on 45! So I cashed out with $119! That was my best win and I was pumped. We left and went down to the Wynn and I didn't do well. I didn't like those machines either. And people began asking for my ID which was getting annoying. We walked on to the Palazzo/Venetian and didn't do well either and again I was continuously bothered with my ID. At last we left those bad spots and got some drinks at a Walgreens. Then we stopped briefly at Harrah's since I hadn't been there before, but it was yucky. Then we stopped at Margarittaville for dinner. I was happy with my burger and fries. So we continued on after that and back home. We took a short breather and then went down to play for a little bit more, but called it a night at a reasonable time. Mom and I checked out some of the shops, but my knees were sore from constantly standing and sitting all day. With my big win from earlier, I was only down like $34 overall. Yay! 11:59PM

I woke up around 7 today and jumped into the shower. I had breakfast and finished packing my luggage, because today was the day I was off to Las Vegas! We left the house and got to the airport. We checked in easily and then went through security quickly. I bought some snacks and a water to get me through the flight. We first flew to Houston. The plane took forever to arrive but we got out pretty much on time and landed early. We went to our next gate and sat around for a little bit. Then we boarded and were on a 3 hour flight to Las Vegas. At last we landed and we went down to collect our luggage. It took quite a while for it to show up and I was getting worried. Next we grabbed a taxi and went to the hotel: the Bellagio. It's definitely my favorite hotel there. Great games and it's a nice place to stay. Upon arriving I call Nick as mom and dad check in. I hang up and check out the floor as we go up to our room. The place seems exactly the same to me. As if I just left it. I do notice my favorite game, wheel of fortune has disappeared :( How sad. I notice some other changes in slot games as well. We go to the room and get settled. We're hungry so we go down to the Player's Club area and get our goods. Then we go have dinner at the Buffet. We got to skip everyone in line, woohoo! We got a table pretty quickly and were off to get our food. I got turkey, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, a salad, some bread, a coke, and soft serve for dessert. Mmm! Maybe something else thrown in there too. Then we went out to play the slotties! We played for hours and took a long time to walk through the entire floor. By the end of the day I was down $84 lol. But I had fun! We went to sleep at a regular time, but it was much later back at home. 11:53PM

I woke up and had to look after Lexi. Mom thinks she threw up outside and then began to eat grass. I think she did that because her tummy was upset. I think other animals do that too. I had breakfast and dad and I brought Lexi into the vet. I then came home and waited for the mail to arrive. I want my check! But alas, it's still not here. I went to the bank before it closed to cash a check. I then drove over to Ulta to buy some goodies. I got some nail polish because it was on sale. In the end I saved 7.75 and only paid 10. Woohoo! I came home and had some leftovers for lunch. For hours today I did a 16x16 sudoku and I finally beat it. When I was nearly done I thought I had messed it up, but I figured my issue out. I went with mom to get some dinner and now here I am blogging. I also decided to renew this website for another year. I almost didn't do it again, but it might be interesting to potentially document a new job, as I continue my hunt or if I stay in school, etc etc. So here it is for at least another year! And it's now in it's 7th year! That's cool. 7:47PM

Happy New Years Day!!! I can't believe it's 2010. It's the year I graduate. Didn't think it would ever come. I guess I slept in today. I was pretty lazy otherwise. Nothing was open so I stayed in the house. I talked to Nick. I played with puppy. And I cleaned up my room a tiny bit, but mostly got my things organized. I made rolls and I made rice a roni for lunch. I watched some tv too. 7:43PM
