The Alaskan trip pictures! Today I went to an extra casting call for the movie The Reaping. My dad knows someone at work with 2 kids, a girl who will be a senior in high school this year, and a younger boy. They have made it and will be shooting for two days in like a hospital scene where everyone had to shave their heads. So the girl is going to take her senior pictures and when they need her, her head will be shaved. I could never do that for anything. But I do believe they have everyone they need for that day, so I shouldn't have to worry. lol. Dad went with me and we stood in line for probably an hour. It's not that the line was long, it just took a while to get through everyone. I'd say about 100-150 people in front of us. They gave me a form to fill out and finally I went in the room along with an 18 year old girl and 22 year old guy. There were two casting directors so I just waited for them to finish. Then they left and told me about it. I got a green piece of paper about the information I would need should they call. And should they call, it would be around October. So quite a while. So do I think I made it? Eh. Well. They said have a prepared non returnable picture, I brought one and the other two did not. They asked me if I've ever done this before, I said yes once. I don't recall them asking the others that. They were nice and happy so you got a good vibe from them, but this is the third Saturday they've been doing this. I couldn't go to the first two becuase I was on the trip. And I think they wrote down like 3 or so comments on my form compared to like 2 on the guys from what I saw. But I have no idea what it was. lol. No idea. I really don't know, but will hope for the best. So after those 5 minutes or so, we left and turns out Amber had called me. I call her back and she wants to go to Calendar's. Dad brings me over to Albertson's and I meet up with her there. We then drive to the place and eat. I got a brownie sundae, and it was very good, lol. Afterwards she dropped me off at home and I read a chapter of The Loved One, more summer reading. I had read that chapter on the plane going to Vancouver, but I can't remember. So I did that, but was tired so I took an on and off nap for 2.5 hours. Did some dishes and now here I am. I'm going to read some more and then do more dishes. Fun stuff. Yesterday I finished 3 lessons for World Geography. Very pleased with that. They were mailed off today and I should get them back I guess Wednesday or so and then I can study, and then take the final and I'm done with that semester. Yes. But I've got one more to do, but the goal was to finish before school started and I do believe it will be a success, yes. So I've got to finish this book, and still have 2 more. Eh. heh. Oh and I've still got to send off my postcards from my trip, lol. 5:37PM

It is done!! my trip to Alaska! So check it out and read and look and comment and thanks. Today I went to the mall with Amber. Well I met her there after she got off work. I didn't buy anything because I'm saving until I have more in August. Which I will. Amber got 4 things from American Eagle. And then we went to the food court and had some dinner, Cane's. It was yummy. After a while we left and each went home. It started raining and blowing and lightening like crazy so, flashback! ah. Was freaking out. And yay, the power didn't go off so I was able to finish it. I need to add videos, might get that up tonight. And then I want to take a few more pictures and make some scans, but this is good for now. 8:58PM

I'm back and no one is commenting. great. Oh well. Good news: pictures are done! I should hopefully get the page up tomorrow sometime. Everything is ready to move over here basically. Just fix the coding from a previous trip type of thing and done! Today I have just been working on that. Crazy I know. We had a nasty thunderstorm today. Lightening that was War of the Worlds style. It was one right after the other and it was so loud. Freaky. And had me and mom yelling shit and things like that. Funny at times too. Becuase you would see the lightening and it take a while for the thunder to occur so you we would be waiting for it and then bam! lol ahaha. good stuff. I had to get in the shower eventually though because I went out to dinner with Amber and Jamie to Calendar's. It was yummy and we had a nice bonding. Watched the finale to Average Joe. And that's it. 11:09PM

I finished typing the blog up yesterday. About 7 pages in 10pt font in Word. Quite a bit. Also today I got my pictures back and I am very very disappionted in them. I had high expectations and was shut down. They just look dull and dirty and blah I'm angry about it. I've scanned them all and now I'm working in photoshop trying to fix each one the way it should way. I've got about 8 done and have like 160 left. So. I have no idea when this will be done. I'm sitll shooting for Friday, but wasn't expecting that I would have to fix all of them. Yep, and that's it. 8:23PM

Hello! I'm back! The trip was really good and I have about 150 digital pictures that I've cropped and made ready. I'm getting 8 rolls of film developed, so about ... 173 pictures there. I'm currently trying to type up the 16 pages worth of written blog of what happened each day. What else, what else. Yeah it was good. I don't want to say too much because I'll have it all out on one spot. I'm getting the second group of pictures back tomorrow afternoon, say 3:30ish. I am going to scan them, which will take a long time and may run into the next day. I would imagine anyway. Then I have to crop and edit those and get those ready so maybe another day spent there. I'm going to try my hardest to get it all up for/by Friday, but we'll see. I also have some 30 second videos of random things. Well today was my last day for conditioning, which is awesome! It was easy too. Did a 60 and 20 meter timed run. Did it in 9.4 seconds, same as before, and 3.3 seconds, .1 lower, whoot. And the vertical jump recorder's battery died so couldn't do that one. And we did this other thing, and that was it. I took a 3.5 hour nap lol, and brought in film and had a late lunch at 4, so I'm still stuck on the Alaskan time zone. It's 3 hours different, earlier. So yeah, stay tuned. It might even be done sooner. I really want to get it up, so that's why you should keep coming back. lol. plug plug. 6:52PM

Had conditioning on Monday, and did some World Geo. On Tuesday I did more World Geo and today had conditioning and I almost fainted. It was strange since I never really have done it. My eyes were like getting spotted and like things looked contrasty. I came home, got ready and waited for mom to get home, when she did we went to the grocery store to get some things I needed for the trip. Then we came home and I had some chicken noodle soup. How random. But yummy. I can't really remember if anything else happened in these past few days. Well tomorrow I'm off to Alaska for mycruise. Shall be awesome. Flying into Vancouver and then flying back from Anchorage. I was hoping to get up a new layout, but that wasn't the case obviously. I have to some scanning before I leave for a fansite and still pack, have barely started. I finished a book for school too, Angela's Ashes. Was really really good. Long, but good. Read it. lol. Thanks for the comments guys! You rock. I would comment on the comment, but I may need those five minutes later lol. I'm going to sleep at 9, I hope. Waking up at 3, or earlier and bye! Maggie, take care of the site, lol. Oh, and I'm bringing 9 rolls of film, muwhaaha. 4:48PM

Sometime during the nigth lastnight, the hurricane took a turn for the north and because of this, we got practically nothing. Which is very very nice. We only got some wind, not bad at all. But that thing was strong. Wow. Today I saw Fantastic Four with my dad. Mm. It was okay. Nothing great, but it was okay. I don't know. It really didn't have too much going, but it was a nice way to pass the time. Oh, and the theater was packed with kids. I mean packed. Gah, they were kind of annoying too. Then I came home and continued to work on a lesson for World Geo that I had started before the movie. Then later I went to the movies with Jamie! lol. We saw Bewitched. Eh, that wasn't too great either. I laughed but I felt like it was over done and annoying at times. And I think Fantastic was better. I got dinner at McDonalds and dropped her off. lol Maggie, I know I should. Still want to. We'll see. Vicki! I was worried about you. I mean I'm not sure how close you are to London, but I was still like oh no! So glad you commented. :D They are using pictures from Scanned to use, mostly, in myspace to show off what they like, actors, etc. lol, thanks! 11:28PM

July 8, 2005
Well exciting day for me. Woke up early and went to conditioning. Functioning on 4 hours of sleep I was very tired and complained a lot lol. And it was soo hot, omg. I went home, did a few dailies and then looked over some maps and then I left to go to LSU to take my test. I get there and get a parking pass. Walk back to my car to put it in. Then I got to the course place and sign in and I get the test. Sign it to agree and then I'm shown where to take it. There were like 6 others kids there, surprised me actually. So I have two hours to take this thing, but I finished in like 20 minutes, ahahaha. It was that easy. And I turn it in and leave. Turns out I got an A, and on only 4 hours of sleep. Booyah! lol. I then drive to Barnes and Noble to get the Elle Girl magazine because Justin is in it! Bought that and then I got some food at McDonalds. I came home and ate it and later I left to go to my hair appointment. My person was runnng late, but what can you do? So I wait. Finally we start. In the end she put highlights in and gave it a trim. Looks good. :D But, omg, it cost ... $95!!!! *passes out* How crazy!! I don't know if it's worth that much, but oh well. So shocked over that price! Oh, so while I was there I was looking out the window since that was the way I was facing and it starts to storm. Man, I was getting nervous with the wind and such. That storm a week ago did a number on me. Speaking of storms: Dennis. My gosh, that thing got up to 150 mph today!! Just 5 away from being a cat 5!! But it went down to 115, a little better. So I'm hoping it's still going to miss us, still do believe--- wait... Just saw a projected path, not very comforting. I'll get you a link. here. I'm in the boot or 'L', if you don't know where Louisiana is for some reason. lol. Just in case. Okay, if you're out of the country. This thing is huge though, I'm still scared. The Gulf has warm water so I imagine it will probably bring the winds up to ... 125-130 before it hits the US. So anyway after I got home I got back on my computer and Amber calls me up. She wants to go have dinner. I say okay and she picks me up. So she has to go to the bank so we do that and then we are going to Calendar's. We begin to move over into the turning lane and this chick comes flying past us on the left to get there first. Which isn't allowed because it's the yellow lines repeated together. So she hits us!! She clips Amber's front left bumper and we are like omg what just happened! It was so fast. So the chick gets out of the car and mouths are you okay? and we just say yes. And she goes to look at her car. So we're still like what just happened. So the light turns and she pulls into a gas station and we follow her. She's asks something and we get out and she takes a look at Amber's car. It's not bad, a scrape on the bumper and a tiny dent above the tire. But Amber doesn't car that much because her car is olddd. So the chick goes in to do whatever she needs to do. Obviously her plan was for us to not follow her, she had to go there. So we leave, but I write down her license plate and describe the vehicle. She wasn't affected in the least bit and Amber was like oh well. It's an old car, who car. Now if it was my car I would be pissed becuase it's not that old and yeah, I would have gotten the information and such. So we leave and get back on the road and immediately at the stop light these guys next to us are like looking and laughing and gah! Not now, lol, we were just put in to some form of shock! So they are trying to get next to us and then this other truck down the way does the same thing!! What are the odds?? So we pull into Calendar's, not without both cars waving bye, lol, and we park. So we go in and eat, cheesesticks, lol. Amber decides to tell her mom, because it's okay no real damage and it wasn't her fault. Well turns out her mom was pissed. But hey, least we got a license plate. Amber will say, everyone I've hit I've known so they always said no big deal. lol, oh Amber. We leave and go out to her car and Amber is going to try to get rid of the scrape by rubbing ice on it, lmao. Hence the quote of the day. lol. She drops me off and that's it. Oh and what is exciting is that someone requested a scan from me! No one has done that before, so yay! lol. Exciting, and if you view this, I will hopefully be emailing you tonight. 9:32PM

If you were visiting this site last year you may remember The Unofficial Day to Stay Up All Night. Well, it's getting close again Aug 2 and so if you want to participate, then join! And if you could, spread the word. Thanks. So Dennis is now a category 4. Gah, now I hope it misses us. I still think it will, but mom is worried. I think it's going to go to the Alabama/Mississippi border. Poor people, they really don't need this. They are going to be completely ruined now. They are saying it's the first 4 in July ever. Crazy. I studied my World Geo because I will be taking that exam tomorrow. Only chance I will get because on Monday a hurricane will be near, effects may continue into Tuesday, and Wednesday I need to pack. What else. Oh. Big Brother 6 started tonight. It was okay, it's the same old shoe every episode but I still watch it, lol. The house is new and looks cool. That's about it with that, lol. So pimp Aug 2 please! lol. 10:01PM

I blogged yesterday but forgot to talk about what I did that same day. So here it is now: I went to the dentist. And the lady flossed the crap out of my mouth. Ouch. My teeth were hurting like I had something done with braces. Then I met mom at LaMadelines and then we got gas. Saw some hottie there, lol. And then went to Halmark. Came home and ... hm that's it. Oh. Yeah. Right so Cindy hit LA yesterday too. And we barely missed getting anything from her. I thought we got rain, but maybe not. Just wind, and still wind today. So yeah, only a few miles away people were getting drenched. But, Dennis is making it's nasty face towards the gulf and should hit land sometime on Monday or so. It looked like that one was going to get us, but maybe not anymore. Of course it's still far away and could do some freaky thing and slam into us, lol. It's only a tropical storm now, but I imagine it will go up to a category 2 or 3 hurricane when it hits the Gulf of Mexico. lol. But what do I know. But this is a big one, so who knows. I had conditioning this morning, went for 30 minutes but left because I felt terrible. I came home and eventually took a 4 hour nap. lol, that's not even a nap anymore is it? But I updated scanned, with now 2286 images. Use it. Please! 4:01PM

Well yesterday morning I filled up some water balloons and in a short time later I drove to Jamie's Camp, or her house on False River. I only made one wrong turn, yay. And it wasn't bad really, because I passed and was like oh, I was suppose to turn there, lol. So I park and go to see them. And eventually everyone is there, myself, Amber, Jamie, Amanda, Mallory, Ben, Carl, Tommy, Ause, and Jamie's cousin Reid. We ate first since we were told it was ready. Afterwards we went in the water and really just floated around lol. Then it was time for the boat parade. Boats drive around the docks and people on the boats throw water balloons at the people on the docks and same the other way. We had lots of balloons, lots. lol. But gah, some people throw too hard. Jamie got hit in the chest, Amber in the back of the head and I got hit on the back. One of the adult guys got hit on the stomach and it left a huge red mark that was still there for hours to come. Ouch. So then most of us waited while Ben mostly, and Reid and Ause sat in the tubes, as he tried to tie knots that would connect the tubes to the boat. Lost train of thought on sentence lol. Um. So some time later it was done and then we had to find 10 life jackets. Not an easy task, but we got them and headed out. There were two tubes and people had to 'survive' to stay on and go again type of thing. It was very funny. I went and you would try to knock the others off. I went against Tommy, but fell off pretty hard lol. Oh well, just got some water in the nose, but it was fun. When we came back in some had cake since it was Reid's birthday. Everyone was tired so people left and I did too. I drove home without any problems. I got home and took a shower and took a nap because I had a baadd headache. Later I ate and watched the neighbors shoot off fireworks. Then I went out back and took some pictures of me with sparklers. I was trying to do some like this, but it is very hard to do. omg. And those are awesome. Well mine are here. So check that out and it will have a few pictures taken by Jamie at her place. Vicki, awe thanks. That made me feel good. Nah, 50-60 probably wouldn't lift you, or knock you off your feet. I would have to say ... 80-100+ would do it. lol. I saw it once on tv, but I can't remember. You would probably have to lean into the wind for sure. oo that's cool. I was wondering if you were going to go actually. 10:24PM

When my dad got home yesterday, I told him the story, and he LAUGHED! How dare he. He wouldn't have if the house had blown away damnit. Earlier yesterday I was turning ont he toilet/tub room light and burnt out and when it did it, it like exploded you know. Even more than usual. And it scared me half to death. That's one adrenaline rush. Number 2, the damn false tornado incident. 3, When my dad was coming inside the house I saw a flash of lighting, out the corner of my eye. And so this thing had to be very low to the ground, hitting a tree or something. And no thunder rang out so I went to the window and then BOOM!!! The window looked like water rippleing(like on the matrix where the helicopter crashes into the building), and it was soo loud, omg scared adrenaline more! lol. So I felt tired and washed out by the end of the day. No wonder they say stay away from windows during storms. lol. Turns out the big storm had wind gusts up to 50-60mph!!! OMG. It was so scary. Today I went on the hunt to find two magazines that had Justin Chatwin in them. Teen Vogue and Elle. It was quite a battle to find them. Wow. I went to Barnes and Noble, didn't have it, only the newer mags. And I ended up getting Filter with Coldplay on the cover, lol, and they were playign the cd in the store! Too cool. Then I went to the smaller Wal-Mart. Found Elle! Nut no Teen Vogue. Went to another but biggg Wal-Mart. Nothing of either. Then went to City Newstand, sure to have it. But no! Then went to Albertson's, nothing. Well damn. Okay, one more stop. I went to Rite Aid. Aha! Found it! I was so happy. Then I went home and that's it. Not too long ago though I went to the big Wal-Mart and got some water balloons to be blown up here/at Jamie's camp for tomorrow. 9:37PM

(later)Oh my God, I have never ever been so scared as I just was in my whole life. Wow. Okay, I was working in Photoshop for scanned and the tv was on the Live 8 concert and then this Severe Thunderstorm Warning pops up. So I'm like okay, great, no big thing anyway. We get them a few times a month. So I go to this local weather channel and I watch the animation and there is this huge line of storms coming straight to my area. And I'm home along then and like, this storm line shocked me, it was just moving so fast and scary. So I go back to my computer, because really how bad could it be? So I hear this thunder noise, but it keeps going and wouldn't end, and I'm like oh god, does that sound like a train? I thought pretty close and joggedish to the living room so I could look outside and I'm all bug eyed because there are little twirls outside the window and debris flying everywhere!! Twigs, dust, leaves, just stuff! So I think oh my god, this is it, a tornado could be coming. So I scream the loudest I've ever screamed for Lexi. I run to grab her leash and she is confused and comes to where I'm running. I grab my purse and throw this in my bathtub, my bathroom doesn't have any windows, and center, and perfect shelter. So I'm still yelling for Lexi to come here and she is just outside the bathroom door, I have 2 doors, one on the hallway to the sink area and then another between the sink area and the tub/toilet area. She's in the hallway. So I point at the ground saying here, since that's how I do it. And she walks slowly, but I'm thinking there's no time, get your ass over here. So I run to her and begins to run away, but I grab her by the fur and she bites me and cries, but I grab her and I guess toss her in the tub somehow. Then I ran back out to the living room, which has huge winodws along a wall and then on the other side, more windows that open into another room. Or reverse that. So I grab three couch pillows and run back to the bathroom. And omg, I could still see things flying around and the wind was blowing through the doors, so it makes this eerie sound and through the chimney. So scary. Like I said, I somehow grab this, no idea now how I did. Get to the tub and Lexi is like what's going on, and I throw the pillows in and jump in, close the shower door slide and get to the bottom of the tub, and put the pillows over us. And I put Lexi's leash on the collar and I can hear all this noise. Scary. I was sooo just waiting for the windows to break apart and the house to just be blown away. Seriously. So scary. So I'm just listening, adrenaline all going and I'm like, oh no! I don't have shoes and I think screw the shoes!! I am not getting out. So this tear comes out my eye and never felt this scared ever before and so I get my cell phone out of my purse and call mom at work. Some other person answered the phone and I ask for her and it seems to take forever to get her on the phone, omg! So I tell her, my voice is breaking and Lexi is panting because she's hot. So mom goes to look at the weather channel to tell me the update. She does that and she'll call me back in a few minutes, and she does that. And I've calmed down a little. And I first started doing all this around 5:45 and finally got out of the tub around 6:08. I was stiff, but damn I was not getting out! So I took Lexi out, but kept her on the leash still and I walked around to look outside and tree limbs are all over the front yard and on our driveway. And Lexi's carpet outside in the back porch moved completely and that thing never picks up. Well it turned over and was off the spot. And so I watched the local weather channel for some more minutes and then a new severe thunderstorm warming comes, and I think omg not again! But, it wasn't for us. And the guy said the storm was moving at 40 mph, which is crazy fast. And he also said there were some gustnadoes, which is like winds in swirls but not tornadoes, so that's probably what I saw. But they pick up debris and are really windy. Or maybe, not even, just some crazy strong wind was what I got. So that was my experience, so scary. 6:56PM
--Went to the mal yesterday with my mom. Got a bathing suit, but gah, hate trying to find one. Took some time, and those changing rooms are always locked. It's annoying. And then you can't find someone to open it! Frustrating. I also got some stockings for ze cruise and mom got some socks. Exciting huh? Mom got some LaMadeline's and I got Jason's Deli. Yum. Er what else. Went home and I got a headache, but we still had to go to Wal-Mart, so we did that and I just wanted to leave. Oh and I ran into the corner of the hallway the night before becuase I was trying to play with Lexi. Well, I didn't move far away from the corner to hide, so I hit my ass on the corner, and omg did it hurt! I screamed and fell to the ground and Lexi came over and licked my face, lmao. Hurt soo bad, but I have this awesome bruise coloration going on. I'm strange. Anywho, it still hurt even today. Right now I've just gotten out of bed and I still have the worst headache in the world. And I got early, lol,k before 11 so I can watch the Live 8 concert. They've only showed one song performed by Coldplay, hope they show more man. Right now Madonna is on. I'd like to be at the London show, that'd be cool. And Jen if you read this, you did guess correctly on the movie challenge, but I've yet to make the graphic. I plan to get to that sometime this weekend. 1:22PM
