I got up around 8 this morning and showered up. I had breakfast and then went to work from 11-8. Long long day. After I bought some insoles for my shoes since my feet hurt so badly. I went to the UMall and got my check and discovered I was put on the schedule next week to actually work, but didn't notice the hours till I got home, it's only 3.5 hrs. I drove to a place where Nick was hanging out to pick him up. Then we went to his dad's house to get his boots, but realized they are actually at the apartment. We got dinner at McDonalds, came home to do some dishes and then went to sleep. 11:17PM

I got up just before 8 today and had breafkast, got ready, all that good stuff. I went in to work from 10-6. It was a pretty long day and slow again. And my feet were killing me, ugh. They hurt. I was on call from 5-close but luckily they didn't need me. I came home afterward and Nick and I ate a chicken parm sandwich for dinner. Then we went downtown to battery park for a free concert. We sat there with his mom and her friend. It was a nice evening. We walked home after and then watched our taped Big Brother episode. It's hot and I'm kinda ready for bed at this point. 10:41PM

Today I got up when Nick left for work. I then showered up and had breakfast. I god a bunch of bills ready and then after 11 I went out to deliver them. I paid rent and then walked to the post office and mailed electricity and the sorority bill, or dues, but feels like a bill lol. It's $590 this semester, eesh. Then I walked down church street and there was huge sidewalk sale and it's actually continuing through Friday. So I went to the bank and changed some money over to Canadian. On the way back I checked out the sales and I got $80 worth of jewelry, 4 necklaces and earrings for only $26. Very good! I then had to get back and take a shower because I was covered in sweat. It was hot and sunny and I was gross. So I had a quick shower and ate some food then I was out to go to work. I was also called by TCP and asked if I wanted to come in tonight to work, but oops, the other place already got me. Sorry. Work was long and very slow. Very slow. And then it started raining. But I also got to sit down for 2.5 hrs because I did some training. Nice! I'm home and watched some tv, but now it's time for bed. 11:05PM

Worked 9-4 today. Once I got out, I went over to the other job to drop off my availability and then came home. Again, it was sooo hot. We got the electricity bill and it was like $73, $30 more than the previous month. I guess it's because we're running fans when we're home constantly. But I also was working and not sitting around watching tv all day, so I don't get it. We walked down to the banks here and it was so hot, geez. My back was soaking wet. We stopped at Starbucks because I wanted a cold treat. We came home and watched a little tv before making jambalaya for dinner. Now we've got a full night of tv. 10:00PM

I worked 9-5 today and it was a long day. Not as long as the day before, but still pretty long. And it was hot. I got home and oo it was so hot. Yuck. We went to the bank as some excitement and once we were home we ate cheeseburgers and chicken patty sandwiches. They were tasty and fully cooked for once lol. We watched Cake Boss and Weeds and then went to sleep. 9:55PM

I got up at about 7:45 and got ready for work. I opened and closed. It was a long long day, 9 hrs. I at last got home at 7 and as soon as we could we went out to get groceries. We did alright too. We got home and made dinner, hamburger meat and a pasta roni. It was decent. I liked the pasta alfredo one we made a little more. We watched a little tv and went to sleep after 11. 9:55PM

Saturday morning and I had to wake up early for work. It was a long long day of work. I got off at 5 and came home. Nick and I watched a movie and just relaxed. One of us always seems to be working now. We ate pizza too for dinner and we went home to his dads house to get some boxes. I had to finish the night by going to sleep early for more work. 10:43PM?

Today I slept in till about 10 and then showered up. I had breakfast and relaxed all morning and afternoon. I left before 4 to go to the UMall to see if I had been placed on the schedule, I was. But only 2 days of on call hours. so no real pay. So I don't know what to do about that. I then went to drop off some checks at the bank and then went over to BBB for a shift. It didn't seem too terribly busy for a Friday night, but I still had to close. During the shift I got a little fainty and had to go upstairs to buy a pepsi and some candy. I felt better after that. I got out after 10 and came home. Nick was already asleep lol. So I ate a hot dog and then went to bed, but fell asleep around 11:30. 11:41PM

My second day in a row I was off from work. I woke up, showered and stuff and then went to the laundromat. Oh, I had actually done laundry the day before at the apartment. The flooding washer had been fixed and it works great. But the dryer coin slot seems jammed, and now none of those work. So off to the laundromat I went to do the rest of my laundry. It wasn't so bad. I came home right after and ate leftover spaghetti and balls and then once Nick got home we made mac and cheese with some pork thrown in. It was pretty tasty and filled us up. We watched Big Brother and maybe something else. 11:38PM

Ahh today I had the day off. But of course I had some stuff to do. I couldn't sleep in and got up around 8:30. I showered and had breakfast. Then I vacuumed the kitchen with the dust buster since the regular vacuum doesn't work in there. Then I cleaned the shower because it was covered in mildew. Now it looks like an entirely different tub. Very shocking, but sadly I got a little on my black shirt and now it's bleached :( I didn't know that would happen. Then I relaxed for the rest of the day since it was hot and I had enough of the fumes. They were awful. When Nick got home we walked over City Market because we were out of milk and we also got some french bread and cheese. Exciting! We snacked and later had dinner, spaghetti and balls. We cooked too much, or I threw in too much lol. So lots of leftovers but that's ok! 10:43PM

I had work again from 9-4 and I spent it doing more training. At the end I began my test but couldn't finish it in time. Afterward I drove to get some gas and then to the UMall to drop off my availability at their request. But she had already left for the day, so let's see if that'll cause a problem now. Later we made pork chops for dinner. It took a while, but it was pretty good. We had some peas too. We watched Big Brother, something else I can't recall at the moment, and then Paris's bff. 11:59PM

I had work today from 9-4. It was fine. I got to train at the customer service desk today. It's definitely a little trickier, but once you do the things a few times, it's not so bad. I came home and since we were extremely hungry we decided to go to Chili's for the three courses, two people for $20. It was a tasty and very filling dinner. Afterward we walked to Best Buy and had a look around. Then we came home and watched a little tv, but then went to bed early, around 10:30. 11:59PM

I got up around 8 today and got ready for work. Nick and I did have time to try out the new waffle maker by making a batch of waffles for breakfast. The first group was kinda over cooked, but the rest were good. We had more leftovers that we expected lol. I dropped Nick off at his house so that he could bottle cider with his dad and I went to work until close. It was a fine day. I got my 2nd comment card thus far. A good comment too. I got off around 7 and came home pretty tired. Nick had eaten so I made some chicken noodle soup for dinner. After I had finished eating we went to the grocery store. It wasn't too busy so it was a little relaxing lol. And we saved $29 this week, by spending only like $55. I think that's the best we've done so far. Especially since lately they have been pretty high, in the 80s. Later we watched Big Brother, but I was tired and tried to get into bed early. 9:599PM

I got up early early again today to go in to work at BBB. It was pretty busy and they wanted me to stay some extra hours, but I had to go home and see if I was needed at my other job. I was on call. Turns out I wasn't, but that was ok because I tired and my feet were hurting. Nick and I went to Winooski beverage to each get a free glass and then we went to the Cheese Trader. I got some pepperochini's there. We came home and then we walked downtown to get Nick some new boxers. We were on the hunt for a deal and found several at American Eagle quite on sale. So very nice! Then we went to Kiss the Cook and got a new waffle iron and then visited Homeport to see their sale. We came home and had a pizza for dinner and just hung out for the night. 10:55PM

So today I was not sure of either of my future work schedules. So I called BBB and would find out later and then I called TCP. And there, I was basically told since I did not tell her my availability by Wednesday, that she did not put me on the schedule at all next week. And hung up. Excuse me? May I also mention that last weeks schedule was made on a Friday, which is a Friday today. And she wasn't there Wednesday or Thursday. I was at least expecting she would assume I have full open availability and what's so hard about adding me onto it now. Especially since I only worked a grand total of 5.5 hrs this week. I'm pretty sure she made it today too. So anyway, I was really frustrated over this. I went into BBB work and closed from 4 to close. It was my first real day on the register and they have decided that I will train next week at the Customer Service desk, aka, this is fast. But they know I can do it, so yay! And guess what I'm now working an extra 10 hours there since of my full availability. I came home around 10:30 and stayed up till about 11:30. Nick had gone to the Burlington Beer Fest, which I couldn't go to now, because of working, but that's ok. But then I could not fall asleep for anything, not till 1:30. Grrr. I just couldn't get the above scenario out of my head. 9:25PM

I woke up feeling like crap. I just felt awful. My head hurt badly. I showered and then attempted to have breakfast, but I felt so nauseous. I just did nothing for a few hours because I felt so bad. I nearly threw up. I think it was a migraine, because one side of my head was killing me. I was on call for work today, but luckily I didn't have to go in. I'm not sure what I would have done. Finally I felt a little better by the afternoon. Nick got home and we watched some shows we had taped and then later made spaghetti for dinner. Big Brother came on too. 11:59PM

I got up early today and headed over to the UMall for my clothing job there. I got there before it opened and I was a little too early, but eventually the manager got there and I got started. I hung many many pieces of clothes and I even tried out a number of transactions on their register. It was fine, not a bad day. I came home afterward and Nick finally got home too. We made chicken parmesan and I had some wax/green beans too. We watched some tv that night but otherwise pretty uneventful. 11:59PM

I got up really early today to get ready and go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a day of register training. It was long but I think I've got it. We had to take a test and I think I did pretty good. I remembered a lot we had mentioned and that was not also located in our cheat sheet. I shadowed someone at the end and even tried a few transactions. It seems really close to LNT's system. Afterward I drove home and later that evening Nick and I made meatball subs. And they were soo good. We have recently found these veal balls at the grocery store and they are really quite good. They are located in the refrigerated meat section. Later I watched Big Brother and Paris's new BFF. 9:43PM

Today was my last day off for quite a while so I slept in, till just 8:15. lol. Not so good. But I got my day going anyway. I eventually went to BCBG and got a sundressy dress. Maybe more of a cocktail dress. It was originally 300. lol yeah, and I got it for less than 100. It's a very light seafoamy color and drapes in the front and has some bead work around the top. I need/want it for a sorority thing later on. I came home and wore it when Nick got home to see if he liked it. But he was mostly confused over why I was dressed up haha. Well we relaxed and then made some Pasta Roni, flavored chicken alfredo. We also added chicken and peas. And it was delicious. I was really impressed by what turned out. We'll definitely try more, but this was was good. I don't even typically like a lot of alfredo sauce, but this was good good. We ended up going to sleep at like 10:30, which was nice because I would wake up early the next day. 9:51PM

Nick went early today to pick up some beer, but I stayed and slept in. I got up after 9 and showered up. When Nick got back, we made some breakfast: eggs. Nick had trouble frying an egg lol. It turned out half scrambled lol. Then it was decided we would go with Colin and Hilary to a vineyard. Oh ok. We drove not too far to Boyden Winery. We took a tour and had a small wine tasting and we got some glasses along with the tasting. It was fine. If I'm going to drink wine, I like white. We left after a while and stopped back in Burlington at a few places. A new restaurant with some crazy food. And then we went to Shelburne Vineyard. I had had enough by this point so I just watched them try some stuff. We left and on the way home we stopped at Blimpie to get some sandwiches/wraps. They dropped me and Nick off and we never met back up with them again, and Nick had wanted to bottle some beer tonight, not necessarily go on this little wine adventure. After we ate our lunch, a very late one, we went to Price Chopper and Nick taught me how to shop quickly for groceries. It was actually pretty funny. We came home and then relaxed for the rest of the evening. We made soup for dinner, it was pretty good. 9:54PM

Today we went on an adventure. We got up after 9 and had breakfast and stuff. Then we left for some breweries, but I got Nick to visit the Sunflower farm which was fun. Took a little tour and I got some free seeds. Maybe I'll plant some near the apartment. See what happens. Then we stopped at flea market and I saw this old poloroid camera. Very cool. And then this like change holder from the early early 1900s. It held and counted your change and it featured a bank, that's no longer a bank, in Burlington. It's really cool. This building in the back left. I almost got it, but it was in bad shape. I had never seen such a thing before. I tried searching on it just now, but no such luck. I kinda wish I had gotten it, it was only like $5, and could have gotten it for less. Cool history of Burlington. Then we stopped at Dakin Farms for some stuff and then drove all the way down to the bottom of the state to Madison's brewing place. Then we quickly went on to Brattleboro, which was a dirty area, very unimpressed. And then on back up the state to Long Trail. And finally back to Burlington. Long day, 333 miles. We got home at 9 and I cooked a pizza and now here I am. 11:04PM

Today I slept in to catch up on some sleep and then decided I would do laundry today. And Nick was out of some clothes. So off I went to shove one big load in the washer. I managed that and then dried it. I came home and didn't do much for the rest of the evening. It was just a long hot day.10:27PM

I woke up early today so that I could shower, eat breakfast, and prepare my lunch and head over to my first day at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I got there just as it opened and it was me and 4 other people who went upstairs to train. We watched videos that were out of date, lol, and filled out paperwork. And we took a big tour of the store and I had to climb a ladder. Which I didn't like because it was an actual ladder and not like the Linen's N Things, that were like home depot ladders. Those felt much safer. Oh well. I got my schedule and saw I would be a cashier, so hopefully I remain up there. The day went fine though. Just long because it wasn't that exciting. I'll learn the register Tuesday. We got out like 50 minutes earlier than we thought would happen, so I went over to the Children's Place and handed over my schedule. I came home and Nick finally got home. We made jambalaya for dinner and watched the Billy Mays special along with some other tv. 10:23PM

I got up pretty early because I went at 8 to Sears Auto center to get Nick's car's wheels aligned. I was like the first in line, so it took like no time. I was going to go shopping since it's at the UMall, but there was a window to watch what was going on, so I decided to stay and watch. It went pretty quick and I noticed a reverse light bulb was out so I told them and they brought a part over, but turns out there's an electrical problem on the left side and the reverse bulb and the fog light doesn't work. Oh well. I came home and then walked down to Dunkin Donuts. It was alright. I finally finished my cross stitching and an orchid flower bloomed today. Cool! Nick at last got home and we stayed in because I had another bad headache. I took a nap and made ravioli for dinner. 10:07PM

I woke up around 9 today and got dressed. I picked up Amy and drove her to the bus station since I was available today. I came home and then once I got my things together I went out to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to turn in my application. I was then interviewed on the spot by two managers and it went really well. I then went to the flower shop that I was at a few days ago and got my little orchids. They are so pretty and I got a good deal for the number of flowers that can bloom. At last I got a phone call from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and I got the job. I'd start Thursday in an orientation. It started pouring ran and it even started hailing!! And of course Nick was due to come home any moment on his bike. I had warned him and would have picked him up. But Nick came screaming/hollering down the road on his bike lol. I heard him inside and he was soaked. lol. Nick came home, but I wasn't feeling so wonderful, a headache. We went to Magic Hat and over to Williston to look at phones for Nick. We came home and some mexican food for dinner. It was ok lol. 9:54PM

Monday. I woke up at 9 today because today was my first day of work!! Ahhhh. Finally lol. I started at 11. And it was a surprise when I showed up. And 2 other new people were starting at the same time, all surprises. So we got a little tour, but we mostly just folded or hung the clothes. It was fine though. I just feel stupid because I don't know how to do everything yet. I had lunch at McDonalds and then got out at 5. I came home and Nick made some steak for dinner. It was pretty good. I had to zap mine in the microwave for a little bit, but it was good. We watched a little tv, but that was it. 9:36PM

Sunday. I slept in till like 12 today. Very late! But it felt great. We were going to make waffles, but discovered our waffle maker was broken! The handle/turning thing was broken. So sad. So we had omelets instead. Once we were full and dressed, we went to the Christmas Tree Shop to return it. Then we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to see if they had any, but they only had 3 in stock and none were very good. Or were too much money. I also grabbed an application since they were hiring now. Then we went to the flower store that was nearby because I really want a flowery plant to take care of. I found some really pretty orchids, but they are kind of expensive and Nick talked me out of it lol. We came home and I did a little research on them, this particular kind is fairly simple to take care of. Yay! So I'll think about it. Then we went down to Church Street to walk around. We stopped in MAC because I needed a new brush and then got a frappachino at Starbucks, mmm. Eventually we came back and picked up a few to go menu's at little restaurants. We later made some chicken nuggets and french fries for dinner. And it was a pretty hot day too, so the apartment was hot. 9:25PM

We slept in again and for breakfast we had some english muffins. We watched some more Californication and in the early afternoon we went to Price Chopper for our groceries. We then got gas and saved 70 cents on every gallon. It was really sweet. We came home and still just relaxed for the rest of the day. We also watched two movies. Friday! Nick was off work today. I made some pancakes for breakfast and we watched Californication. It was rainy all day today. If it wasn't raining, it was really cloudy. Colin came over and we watched tv and hung out. They went to the store and then they got back and Darby showed up too. We were waiting for 9 to hit. We left the apartment and walked downtown to the waterfront almost. At 9:30 the fireworks started over the lake. It was pretty. And extremely long. It was about 40 minutes, wow. We were standing out in the rain though, so that part sucked. We rushed home and stayed up for a while longer. 8:51PM

Today was Nick's last day of work before his 3 day weekend. We didn't really do anything though. We stayed in since it was raining and watched Californication. Also the day before we watched Big Stan which was kinda bad and American Psycho which was really weird. We made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and it was really really tasty. Wednesday. After the failed attempt at trying to dry the towels overnight I decided to go to the laundromat to finish the towels and might as well finish off the laundry with the dark wash. With Nick's added laundry, it never ends. First I cashed a check into quarters and then went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to buy a new shower curtain because our bathroom grows mildew constantly 24/7. It's gross. So I'm trying one of those mildew repellent type ones. Hopefully it'll last. I also got a can opener, an electric. Because I suck at trying to use the manual one. It normally takes me like 10 minutes lol. I then went to the laundromat and finished drying my towels in the dryer. I also did the dark wash and then I was out of there and off to McDonalds. I got a fry and milkshake, mmm. Then I came home and for dinner Nick and I tried this frozen pasta meal that's new. It had shrimp in it. And I ate it! Living on your own has made me want to eat better since I can't depend on healthy food entering the house on it's own lol. So I'm trying new things. The meal was ok, but it wasn't enough. Nick had to eat 2 additional hot dogs to feel full. That's ok though. We watched some tv and called it a night. 11:59PM
