Tuesday. Today I attempted to do some laundry. I went to wash a big load of towels and then a light colors wash. I put the towels in the dryer and when it was done, they were still soaking wet, and after the highest setting. Grr. I put the whites in and those dried ok, so I tried drying the towels again, but still they were so damp. I let them sit over night, but they wouldn't dry. When Nick was back on a mini excursion with Colin, Nick and I ate a little dinner, some chicken nuggests, in dinosaur shapes lol. They were tasty. Then we went to Colin's apartment to transfer some beer that had been sitting around. Hilary, his girlfriend showed up too and we went out to Flatbread for some beer and a little snack. I didn't have any though. Only got an ice cream sundae that was pretty good but they took forever to make it. We came back and I watched Paris Hilton's new bff. 11:59PM

Monday! I hung around the house all day today. I watched HGTV and did my cross stitching. Once Nick got home we gave our shot at making some pork chops. We didn't have any bread crumbs so we used chicken ones lol. But it was good! They took quite a while to cook, but I was impressed. Quite yummy too. We watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 and maybe a few other tv shows. 11:59PM

Sunday. The coffee was a little much for me yesterday so I stuck with tea today. We had left over pancakes and then just hung around watching Dexter. After noon we went to the grocery store to get our goods for the week. We got some new things to try out for dinner and I'm really impressed. So hopefully we'll make something good. I'm still trying to find those dinner meals that will become a routine. I just don't have enough yet. Once it was dinner time we made chicken quesadillas. I've been craving them and have wanted to make them for a few days now, so this was nice. They turned out pretty ok. We'll need to add more flavor though in the future, like spices. Nick got a new bike, as we drove out to by one from someone on craigslist. It's good because his was suddenly falling apart rapidly, but it was like 20 years old or something. We watched a little Sunday night tv and I caught a Jon and Kate Plus 8 I hadn't seen before, I think it was the night we moved into the apartment. That was all. 6:25PM

Saturday. I slept in and then made breakfast with Nick. We had pancakes and coffee. We decided we would spend the day going on the hunt for a love seat. We stopped at one really close and found a nice one for 340, which included tax and delivery. That's the cheapest we have found, new. So we'll think about it. We don't need it like right now. We went to a few other places but they were just more expensive. We also went to Costco and got some toilet paper, 36 rolls lol. I think we also made a short stop at the Winooski to look at some beer, but didn't get any. We came home and then just hung around. We made chicken and rice a roni for dinner, mmm. Then around 8 we went over to see Amy and Darby. Colin came over too and some other random people throughout the night. I guess we left around 12:30? I'm not really sure. I stayed up for another hour from 1-2 though watching Bear Gryllis and Will Ferrel in the arctic in Men vs Wild. It was hysterical. 6:20PM

It was a tad bit cooler, but I had an interview with Aeropostale today! Big day. I got there early and then we were rounded up to go to a table. It was me and 4 other girls. 2 were young, younger than 18 and still in high school. Wowie. One had worked at the LNT up here and the other girl did not say a word the entire hour and a half chat. It was weird. It went decent though, but I could tell the lady likes the young ones that shops there, since they are like experts. We'll see what happens though. I drove home and then Nick went to see some beer friends for a few hours. It started to rain and it cooled off a lot. I opened the window and stuck the fan to blow air in. It was like a mini air conditioning unit lol. I made a pizza and then Nick and I went over to see Stephanie for a little bit, at a party. We saw her new place and stuff. We were tired and came home kinda early. 10:30PM

Today was even warmer. I spent it again just sitting around. We made rice a roni and chicken for dinner, which again made the house really hot, but we need to eat. We did nothing but relax and sweat. 10:07PM

Wow it was so hot today. It was over 80, but we have no air conditioning, and I'm not use to summers without a/c. It's not fun. I spent the day sitting around as still as possible trying not to sweat, but I did, a lot. I had to sit around in little clothes. When Nick got home we walked to City Market to get some cheese for dinner. We made burgers, but they weren't cooked enough because we had 1.2 lbs of meat, for the two of us lol. We made 4 burgers and were stuffed. And this also made the apartment really hot and unbearable. 10:03PM

Today I had an interview with Abercrombie and Fitch. I had looked up online and found out what to wear, their colors and stuff. I went and there were 6 other people there. I asked if there were actual positions open, turns out no. Wonderful. We were asked only 4 questions, but it took an hour to go through since there were so many people there. I think it went fine, but if they aren't hiring, I'm not so sure. I got home and then Nick and Colin came over. We all went to Nick's house to get some things and then went back to Colin's apartment to brew some beer. It took forever, but it was interesting. But he didn't turn on his fan over the stove so this stuff was just boiling for hours and it was so hot and humid there, yuck. We got a slice of pizza to eat for dinner and then when we finally got home we watched Paris Hilton's tv show. 9:39PM

I didn't do much in the morning but my cross stitching. When Nick got home from work we went to Price Chopper for groceries. I got a good deal on yogurt, yoplait at 50 cents. When we got home we reheated some leftovers for dinner and cooked some ham. It was pretty tasty. We then watched the big Jon and Kate Plus 8. They were separated and this same day they went in to get a divorce. So sad!! I was hoping this would never happen. I don't care what people say, it's sad to me. Oh and also, I said nothing happened last Wednesday, but I totally forgot my huge laundry fiasco. I went to the basement to do two loads of laundry. When I came back the basement was flooded with water. I took out my good laundry and had to wring the rest out by hand. I did it onto the floor since the washer was still full of water. It was awful. There was a hole on the bottom of the tub that reopened so it never stopped filling and ran water for like 25 minutes. I was scared if I started the dryer I'd get electrocuted. So I dragged it to the car, wet. And drove to a laundromat. I rewashed that bad clothes and through the good ones in the dryer. It was frustrating. I liked the laundromat, but it is still more expensive to do laundry there. Fun! Oh apartment living. 9:30PM

June 21, 2009
I was woken up around 7:30 to get up and get ready. We went across the street again and ate at this little bagel place called Finagle A Bagel. It was yummy. And they had this conveyor belt that sliced and tossed the bagels down the line. It was really entertaining. We went back to the hotel and mapped out our day. We finally left I guess around 10. We were back in New Hampshire and decided to stop at a liquor store. I got a few little nips, Godiva and Absolut that were less that $5. And then I got $5 in scratch off tickets since I realized I've yet to buy lottery type tickets since turning 18. It was fun, but I lost. :( Thought I'd win like at lest $2 lol. We then drove on but once in Vermont we drove a little south to Harpoon Brewery for Nick. And then a little north on the same road to the Norwich Inn which was fancy and interesting. Reminded me of the Myrtles. But not haunted. We then stopped at Ben and Jerry's factory but because it was Father's Day they had a special going on and it was packed. So much for a tour. We just had a look around and then went up the street in Stowe to visit the Cider shop thing and then Cabot, and then Champlain Chocolates. I had been to these places like 10 years ago or so and I just wanted to go again and check it out. I mean, it was on the way so why not. We finally got back in the car and got back to the apartment, by around 5. Long day!! We had a little bit of leftovers from my spaghetti and the leftovers from the Border's Cafe. We had a fridge at the hotel, don't worry. And that was it! 9:16PM

June 20, 2009
Big day today! I got up just before 6 and got into the shower. I got ready and Nick woke up an hour after me. We had breakfast and packed up our things and left for Boston for the American Craft Beer Festival. Forty minutes later and almost to Montpelier, I asked if we had the tickets. Nope! We had to turn around and come completely back to the apartment. Luckily we had wanted to go to a beer store beforehand so we had just enough time to change our schedule around a bit. We made it into Boston, but our directions were now incorrect. We were hoping we could figure it out but the signs were awful and we ended up getting lost for about an hour. We went through the tunnel and would never find the right exit. It was awful. We finally made it to the area and got a place to park. We got in line for the thing at 1:30, thirty minutes late. But it took another 30 minutes to go through the line because it was packed and a huge line. Nick tried a fair amount of beers and I sipped a few. But it ended at 4:30 and we left around 3:50. Oh and I got a soft pretzel, mmm! We then drove to that beer store we passed up earlier and Nick got $50 worth of beer. Then we went on to the hotel in Burlington, about 20 minutes away, aka cheaper. The hotel was alright, but it was next to a big mall. We got dinner at Border's Cafe. It was a mix of tex mex and Louisiana cajun food. It was the strangest thing lol but the place was busy busy. It was alright and then we went to the mall to be occupied. We checked out all the stores, and it was very nice. I wish we had one like this in Vermont. Then we went to Crate and Barrel and tried out some furniture. It was nice but still out of our price range. I got a few cheap tea light holders, only 50 cents each. We wanted to go to a bar but decided to just get fancy drinks at the Rainforst Cafe. Yeah, the mall had this place. It was fun lol. They came in souvenir cups that flash colors. We then went back to the hotel and went to sleep before 10. lol. 9:10PM

Friday. I returned my applications downtown and then talked to a few people, but one store totally was rude to me and was letting me wait around wasting my time as they kept an eye on me. Then made some bullshit response to me when I was already overhearing them talk about their hiring process. That pissed me off. I then went to the UMall and turned in the applications I didn't hand in when I got hired a bit ago. I came home and got a call from Aeropostale so I'm having a group interview with them next week. I made some spaghetti for dinner and went to sleep early for the big day tomorrow.

So I went out today to get more applications from the downtown mall. Probably about 5 or so more. But 2 aren't hiring until till about August. But I filled out 3 and will return them tomorrow. This evening Nick and I ate some pizza and it was yummy. Oh and I'll be going to an Abercrombie and Fitch group interview Tuesday. 10:28PM

Tuesday! I had an interview with Macy's at 2. When I was there 2 other people showed up with the same interview time, which I think is a little frustrating. I just happened to arrive first and they took me first. But they couldn't find the application I filled out online, but the interview was short and we'll see what happens. I'm not getting my hopes up. She said there would be a second round of interviews, eventually. Hm. Anyway I came home and it was such a nice day out I talked Nick into going to play miniature golf that evening. We went to an outdoors one, but no one was working the booth and there were like zero workers available so we left and went to this crappy indoors one. It cost 2.50 each lol and we were the only ones there. It was a b ad course, but it was just fun to go through it and have a little date. I also played a few old school games, back when I was little. A lot of coin ones. Where you shoot it down a ramp or up into the air, or it falls on a bunch of other coins and maybe they'll be knocked down and you get a lot of tickets. And it helped me get a little bit of a gambling, slotty's, fix. haha. I had accumulated 86 tickets! Woo. So I picked out 2 tattoos, 2 blow pops that I had been craving, and a sticking/slap snake. The arcade stuff was fun. On the way home we stopped at Price Chopper for some bread and shampoo. I think we ended up finishing up the hot dogs for dinner. Exciting. 8:24PM

So today I had to go in to work and fill out paperwork at 2:30. I showed up and she brought me to the back and we did it electronically. It's neat, and safer since there's no actually paperwork in the store. So she says. They all have trade offs. I was out of there sometime after 3 I guess. So I went to Home Depot to look at some things before Nick got home. I left and it was rainy, ugly day. I got home and I have no clue what we made for dinner. Oh well. I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 along with a lot of Dexter. Oh so I found the hours I could be working at this new job so I decided I need to go out and try to find a second job. So it's back to filling out a ton of paperwork and expecting to hear back from like only 5-10% of them. 8:18PM

I slept in till about 9. I heard a cat meowing outside on the porch. So we went outside to pet it. It was very cute and full of fur. I came back inside and showered. I made omelet's for breakfast again and then we cleaned up. Then we got into the car to go to Nick's house, but we had forgotten this little table thing Nick's dad had wanted back. So we turned around and grabbed it. We got to his house and I played with his kitty. His dad told us that there was a farm where you could pick strawberries. We drove out there but the lady working there siad they weren't ready yet. That's sad! So we came back to Burlington and stopped at the grocery store. We unloaded back home and then decided we would go to this furniture store near Costco because it was liquidating. They had some nice couches, but they cost wayyy to much. Oh well. We stopped at Costco to see if they had any by chance, nope. So we got a lot of samples and then went to Shaw's because Nick figured out he needed some cheese for dinner tonight. We at last were home and when it was dinner time, Nick made enchiladas. They were good, but a little much for me. I liked the ones at Roque's better lol. I'm pretty sure we watched tv or Dexter episodes and that was it. 8:15PM

Today we got up around 9:30ish. I cleaned up and for 12 we went out to the Switchback brewery. Nick is a member to Beer Advocate online and there was a meetup there for a free tour and then a beer tasting and lunch after for a few hours. The tour was very interesting. Again, I like just coming along for ride, I don't care for these strong flavorful beers that much. If anything, I'll sometimes like a wheat one. So the tour was over after an hour and then we drove next door to the lunch and tasting. They had some sandwiches which were a little gross and I kept track of what Nick tried and I talked to a few people. But after 2 hours I had had enough and wanted to leave. It took us an hour and half to leave lol. Nick kept talking and trying more. Finally I got him out of there and we stopped to get gas on the way home. I brought us home and Nick feel right to sleep, it was only 4:30 lol. I made a pizza and ate half of it and saved the rest for Nick later. He ended up sleeping the rest of the night. I took a little nap around 6. Finally he got up before I went to sleep, after 12. I had watched a lot of tv and movies. I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Mean Girls, and the Sweetest Thing, all on tv. Then, that was it. 9:22PM

Today was more exciting. I slept in to the regular time now of about 10:30. I get up, have breakfast and do a little cross stitching, watch HGTV. I was ready when Nick got home from work. Colin and Amy came over and we got into the car and went on a little road trip. We first drove into Stowe to visit The Shed, it's a brewery. There's quite a number of breweries in VT, and you can visit 18 and get like a set of gifts. 10, you get a t-shirt. So Nick's been trying to visit all of these, but we were going to hit a nice cluster today. So the Shed was nice, but we had to move on and catch another location. We drove for about an hour and a half and made it to Lyndonville to visit Trout River. It was a nice little pizza place with beer. I've been sipping on it,. I don't really for it, but I like coming along for the ride. We stayed there for probably an hour and then drove for an hour to see Stoncecutters in Barre, but it was closed down for some reason. But we didn't know that! Luckily it's on the way back to Burlington and wasn't a big deal. We then stopped at The Alchemist to finish the night. I think that was in Montpelier. Or at least pretty much just out of it, like 30 minutes from the previous place. Then we came back to Burlington and picked up Darby. They stayed over for maybe 30 or so minutes but left. I was pretty tired so I got into bed. Colin kept talking and talking and we couldn't get him to leave. At last he left and the night was over. 9:17PM

Today I hung around the house waiting for a phone call from work. It never came so I called them and the manager wasn't even in today. I decided when I would come in to fill out paper work. I also made brownies for Nick today. They are very tasty. I made some macaroni and cheese for dinner since we each weren't too too hungry. That was pretty much all my day. 9:08PM

Today I decided I should go out to Kohl's and buy some clothes that I needed at the Children's Place, for their dress code. It's too bad because they want you to wear black shirts, and I've got a ton of white shirts I wore for LNT. I found 3 shirts, a cheap pair of toe covered black shoes that aren't sneakers, lol, and some black socks that came with some free white pairs. Sweet. I also changed out some $20 for quarters. I had discovered the laundry the night before and it's $1.25 for the washer and dryer each. Which are very very tiny machines. I can't fit what I nearly use to put in at the dorms. It really sucks. And strange enough, the washer takes like 25 minutes to clean the clothes. It's weird. Oh well. I don't think I'll be doing laundry on just any day. I'll do it when Nick runs out of boxers, as that is a good way for me to tell when to do it. And I guess I'll alternate between darks and whites. I'm building up a big red one so I'm still holding out on that. Laundry sucks so much though. I have to haul it to the opposite side of the house and door is really hard to open too. Anyway Nick and I went down to Church Street once he and I were both home and we looked around at Love Seats but they are too much money. Oh well. We decided to go to Roque's for some dinner and that was really good. We came back home and watched some tv, Probably not anything special. 11:59PM

I had decided not to go with the internship so I instead went to the UMall to apply to some jobs. I grabbed another 10 applications and filled them out there. As I was dropping them off one place stopped me, The Children's Place. The manager had worked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, actually with Nick a long time ago, and so she knew what I was capable of, due to Linens N Things. And so she hired me on the spot. Wow! After all this time, 41 applications, 9 callbacks, and 4 interviews. I'm getting paid a little more then before at LNT and will be on schedule soonish. I came home and Nick and I made some dinner, rice a roni with chicken. This was yummy. With peas and salad too. But much better than the night before lol. 11:59PM

Today I woke up kind of late and just hung around the house. at 3:45 I had a meeting with a guy about an internship at a coffee spot. I met him there and got a smoothie. We talked about it and it sounded alright but it wasn't what I wanted to be spending my time and it wasn't paid. And by this point, I was just applying to anything because people mostly just never contacted you back again. I came home and Nick and I went to Price Chopper to get some more food. I had found some recipes to try out and needed some ingredients and we were out of some other things. We came home and started cooking some dijon chicken and pasta. It was a pretty healthy meal, but wasn't that fabulous lol. Filled us up though lol. We watched some Jon and Kate Plus 8 and some Cake Boss for tv. 11:59PM

Nick had to work today, Sunday, and once I got up I put together my new nightstand. I had a headache so I was just laying around by the time Nick got back from work. My headache cleared up a little so I cleaned out and set up the coffee pot and we had just a relaxing night in and made jambalaya that was quite yummy. 11:59PM

Saturday. We slept in and hung around the apartment waiting for mom dad to get back from their little rendezvous to New Hampshire. They came back in the afternoon and when they were ready, came over to pick us up. Mom came in and saw the finished look and we all left for a little errands. We went to Sears and then Kohl's to compare items and eventually ended up with a coffee pot and some drapes for the bedroom. We also went to Wal-Mart for some ice trays that were very hard to find. Pretty much everyone else didn't carry them. We went on to Dick's briefly and then to Christmas Tree Shop to get me a little nightstand because Nick's dad needs back what I had been using. But that's alright. I found something else. We finished off the day by eating at Ninety Nine. I got some turkey meal that was pretty yummy. Then we dropped off their rental van before 8 and drove them back to the hotel. We all said goodbye and Nick and I went back to the apartment. We hung around there for a while but eventually ended up going over to Colin's to see his new place. And finally stopping back at our apartment briefly and then going to Amy and Darby's for the rest of the night. 11:59PM

Friday! I've got the whole sleeping in while Nick is getting ready in the morning covered now. So I woke up late and once I did get started on my day I went to the bank to change out $60 into Canadian. My bank had no fee, which was a nice surprise! On the way back to the apartment I went to Kiss the Cook to buy a broiling pan. Then I waited for Nick to get off work. Once he came home we grabbed a few things and were off to Montreal for a beer festival. We got there maybe around 6. And I had to pee so bad. We found parking that was close for $15. Expensive, but we saw some for $20. And it was safe because the owner was sitting in the lot the entire time. No broken windows, no stolen things. lol. Which have happened before. We went to the festival and Nick got some tickets. You bought tickets, and the tickets could buy a sample of beer that was worth somewhere between 1-6. We walked around maybe for 2 hours and he tried a lot. He finished up the tickets and I had collected a ton of those cardboard coasters of all the places. We found the parking lot and then walked up to St. Catherine's street to find a quick little place for dinner and to fill Nick's stomach for the ride home. It was Mr. Steer, lol. We got little burgers and split some fries. Then we got back into the car and I drove us home. We had to make a stop to potty at a Canadian Wal-Mart like store. And then we stopped at the border's duty free shop. We were there for a while too! I got some new perfume, Escada's Ocean Lounge and I got a handle of Absolut for pretty cheap. Nick got some whiskey and then it was time to go across the border. It was one of the easiest times we have had! hahaha. He asked why we were there, a beer festival. And if we made any purchases, yep, liquor lol. And he was like ....ok. And on we went lol. Very shocking. I drove us the rest of the way home. It was maybe after 10 by the time we got home and we walked over to see Amy's apartment. I was tired later and finally managed to drag Nick out of there to go home. 11:59PM

June 4, 2009
Thursday. So I was up early to wait for the cable guy to set up our apartment. Which June 4th, may seem late, but others are waiting like 2-3 weeks before they get theirs! We called way ahead of time. So the guy came and had some trouble setting it up because they are going "paperless" and he didn't know how to use this new machine scanner thing. At last it was set up and I got my internet working on my laptop. I had missed a lot of stuff and I was emailed about an internship that wanted to meet the day before. Uh oh! So I contacted him back and we would meet up on Monday. I got into the shower and then went back down to Church Street to hand some applications in. And I filled out more, Charlotte Rouse, The Body Shop and Macy's. I also went to the bank to put in a check and then I went home. I don't think we did too much this evening, probably just enjoyed the tv now that it was hooked up. And I think we may have gone to see Darby's apartment. She's a friend of Nick's who met her and Amy through Eddy, which was Colin's roommate last year. So we've all hung out a number of times now. Anyway. That was all! We just did not want to go shopping, and wanted to stay put. And I think we made hot dogs lol. 11:59PM

June 3, 2009
Wednesday. Yesterday I had missed my packages so I decided to stay in the apartment and wait for them arrive. I didn't want to miss them again. In the meantime I was putting desk things away and getting more organized. At 2 they came and I quickly put the 2 boxes away, in under an hour. I didn't want Nick to see how much more stuff I brought up here lol. So it would just seem all blended in and he wouldn't know the difference. I told him this too and he said that was a good idea ahahaha. He's noticed a few extra things here and there that have seemed to come out of nowhere, but still doesn't really know lol. Anyway! Once that was settled I then walked to Church Street to find some jobs! I got 10 applications to: Urban Outfitters, Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, William-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Victoria's Secret, and J. Crew. I took them home to fill them out, but then Nick got home. So we went out to get some more things ourselves! We first stopped at Staples to get a bookcase. And I found a really nice 3 hole puncher and it was only 6.99. For some reason I expected a good one to be like 20 bucks. So I was pumped, and it's really nice. Then we went to the Christmas Tree Shop and got some little tables for Nick's speakers and we found a commercial Belgium waffle maker, that was $50, by Waring Pro. And we found out later, regular household ones for consumers cost $80! So yay! Then we went to TJ Maxx because Nick had a little gift card and we ended up getting a cheap little blanket for the bed that's alright. Because it's cold at night believe it or not! And then we went to Price Chopper for a few other food items we needed. We came home and hmmm maybe we made a pizza this night and ate with my parents last night. I really can't remember where it was, but I think that may be right instead. Oh well. Pizza I guess this night and that was all. Still no cable or internet to entertain us. 11:59PM

June 2, 2009
A Tuesday. I got up when Nick woke up, because I'm still trying to get use to sleeping in while he is wandering around. I started putting together my desk that we had bought the night before. And there were just so many pieces! And it came with a tiny little screwdriver that made my hand and fingers so sore. I worked on it for hours and was barely half way when I needed to get into the shower. Around 2 I had a group interview with 6 other people at Old Navy for a logistics position. I felt I had some really good answers, but they also asked a bunch of stupid questions that I just suck at. For instance, if you were a key on a keyboard what would you be and why? And I kept having to go first so I didn't want to seem stupid and take five minutes to think of an answer, so I would just blurt out something lol. Like M! For Marielle lol. And what actor/actress would play you in your life movie? And because while I was at the eye doctor, one lady said I looked like Kristen Stewart, so I chose her lol. So I left, oh well. Mom and dad came over and we grabbed lunch at Vermont Pub and Brewery. The burger was alright. Then we killed time by looking around in City Market, I wanted them to check it out. We drove to the apartment and Nick was finally back from work. Then we went to Cost-co for some big items. And the parents wanted to check that place out too. Then we went on to Shaw's across the street for regular smaller items. Now we were pretty much stocked up on food. I said bye to my parents and then Nick and I made a pizza for dinner. Keeping it simple for now. lol. And I put more of my desk together and Nick went ahead and did my chair. And my desk area was setup! But stuff now put away yet. 11:59PM

Move in day! I was up at 5:30 to shower first. I got a muffin and waited to leave. We drove to Uhaul to pick up a truck and then mom and I went downtown to the apratment to get the key. Nick and his mom decided to do a load on their own, so my dad was driving to Nick's house without anyone there. An abrupt change in plans, but it helped anyway. Nick and I got the keys and brought in his car load. He and his mom went back to his house and then mom and I unloaded what was in our van. We drove to the house too. By the time we got there the uhaul was pretty much full. We got what was left over into our van and Nick, me and mom went to the apartment first so we could unload. Then dad would leave after us. We have only one parking spot, so it was really tricky trying to maneuver. And they were towing like crazy this day too. So once the van was unloaded we parked in the garage a few blocks away and then unloaded the uhaul once it came. Everything was in the apartment I believe around 11. Now it was time to put everything away. A huge task! This went on for several hours. The bed finally arrived and we put that together. Eventually Nick's mom left with Nick. Once Nick got back we left to do a few errands and get dinner. We went to Staples and got some desks and chairs. Then we ate at Chili's and it was delicious. I got my usual chicken crispers. Mmm. We stopped at Home Depot, Hannaford's for some milk and Bed, Bath and Beyond for something, lol. Nick and I were dropped off and he put his desk together as I watched and put a few things away lol. I was very tired. At last, I fell asleep at 12, when I got into bed, and slept till about 7 when Nick woke up for work. The bed was very comfortable. So nice to have some room. 9:56PM

As I said, up at 8 and I showered. We started the day, by getting lunch at Friendly's but they took forever. It was unbelievable. We finally got our food after 1 and ate up quickly. Then mom, dad, and I went to Kohl's to look for some bedding. After searching and looking, I finally decided upon something. Then we went to Wal-Mart and I got a bunch of random kitcheny things and cleaning supplies. Meanwhile Nick was moving out someone else's things, I can't remember where we went next. I think possibly Bed, Bath, and Beyond. And then went to Big Lots to see about a couch, but it wouldn't work out for many reasons. And then I guess on to Lowe's and then we drove around and decided to eat at Junior's for dinner. It was good and then my parents dropped me off to see Nick for a few hours. He finished up laundry and packed a lot of stuff, moving things to the living room for the next day. He drove me back and again I had a horrible time of sleeping. I got to sleep around 2 and woke up at 5:30. Fun! 9:24PM

I woke up at 7 this day to shower, get ready, and pack. I didn't do anything the night before except laundry. I did it all in the morning. I was a little pressed for time, but I had a suitcase weight issue. My stuff was too heavy. So I didn't get to put in nearly the amount I had hoped for. Oh wells, next time. We got in the car and drove the airport. We checked in and went through security. I bought Cosmopolitan and a little pizza. We waited at the gate and at last we left around 11 I think. Maybe 12. We flew to Atlanta and then had about a 3 hour layover. It was too bad I guess. I walked around a lot with mom, got lunch at Popeye's and took a little nap. We then flew on to Burlington and arrived just before 8. It took forever to get our luggage, as always. We then went on to get the rental car and before checking in at the hotel, drove by the new apartment. Nick came to the hotel and we all went out to eat at Friendly's for dinner. It was tasty, but they were out of popcorn chicken :( I was exhausted and had a headache, so I said bye to Nick and then could not sleep. I finally fell asleep around 3 and woke up at 5, was up for an hour, fell back asleep around 6 and was up at 8. Not fun. 9:12PM

Lexi got trapped in the backside of the house this morning so she came to whine at me to free her lol. So I was woken up by the puppy again. It wasn't too early, but I was trying to get in as much sleep as possible. I got up and showered and had breakfast. I did a load of laundry and I helped brush Lexi's fur. She had so many knots in them, it was such a struggle. But now she is pretty and neat! I cross stitched some more, talked to Nick a bit, and watched I Am Legend. A little scary and the dog's death was the worst part. I'll be going to sleep pretty shortly. 10:28PM
