___March 2006___March 31, 2006 Today was fine. I'm kinda of headachey now, but it's not too bad. Calc was fine. Eng, took a test, and I think I did well. Stats, got new seats and alas I can't see the board but I'm back to sitting with my tennis coach which is cool. We're friends. lol, I'm serious. Photo, what did I do. Didn't print. Hm, oh, lmao, we talked about bread and buns and sandwiches. In depth conversation with the class and teacher. Had Wendy's for lunch, and McDonalds for dessert. I was driving us back to school and these cop on a motorcycle pulled out in front of me to stop, and I was like ahh wtf did I do?!! Turns out a funeral procession was beginning. So we watched and ate our dessert. We were fine and wouldn't be late because we were like 10 minutes early. But I have to say, I've never come across that before. We get to school. Read Franken in 5th. Been lovely not having to do Astron this week. But I'm sure will pick up in full force next week. 6th was spent doing work and listening/talking to Tori and hm, or was it not? I can't remember lol. Tori did drive us back to the high school. We've been watching a Lion in Winter in 7th, and I'm a little bored with that, but I do understand it so that's always a good thing .. ... lol. Anyway! I changed with Jamie. Not at once.. but we went to the bathroom to change for tennis. Left there and well went to tennis. Was in my nice group of her, me, her sister Paige, and Stormie. Had a good time coming up with stupid little games. But boy was it hot out there today. About 80º. And humid. Yuck. As I was walking back to my car I jumped when I saw this unknown and large object on the ground near my car. It was a moth!! With a wingspan the size of my hand. No kidding. So I took some pictures on my phone, since it has a camera and alll. Like most phones these days .... anyway! I did. And drove home and called Grant. He's coming into town tomorrow which was unexpected but amazing to know. Had dinner and still talking to Grant. I know, I'm behind on this site. Sorry. But life comes first. But as always, thanks for visiting and reading. 10:13PM Quote of the day: --

March 30, 2006 Calc was fine. Eng fine. Stats, ooo that test. You know, it might actually be fine. *crosses fingers, toes, eyes, etc etc* Photo, I got sad thinking about Fordham and couldn't even put my heart in my printing work. Now that's saying something there. So I went back into the classroom and listened to the iPod starring into space. Lunch was okay, McDonalds with Jen. Astron, read. 6th, tried to print again, but the last 20 minutes I just cleaned the darkroom up a bit and read a bit, while lol Tori went into the little closet in there and took a nap, lmao. 7th, left early to go to bowling. I got to play which was nice. We were losing so he put the seniors in. Whoot. I got a 116, lost against my person, but oh well. I don't really care. Came home, talked to mom on the way home. Got home, homeworkish. Ate,ish. Watched the Office. Love that show still. Hearts layout. I'm typing this in a strange way tonight huh? Well, I'm going now, to get ready for bed and to talk to Grant. I heart him. 10:07PM Quote of the day: --

March 29, 2006 Pretty fucking awful day today. The morning classes were fine. Lunch was fine. Didn't have a computer in 5th, so I got to do some much needed Frankenstein reading. Was printing in 6th when I happened to look at my phone. Two missed calls from mom. Meaning that my Fordham letter came in. I called and it did. I told her, don't tell me if it's thick or thin, I don't want to know. I asked if I could check out because I would be leaving to go to the bowling regional playoffs from school. She said okay and I went home. I need this letter to be good. I get home, go right by it and put my stuff down. Got a drink and sat down. Now or never. I see it and I want to start crying. It's thin. Dammit. So I open it and read the first few sentences saying that you did not get in, but can be put on the waiting list. Mom sat down and read the whole letter as I fucking cried. Dammit. I was so upset over it, but now I'm just angry. Somewhat depressed, but more angry. I want to know why. Was it something simple: a score wasn't high enough, did my essay suck? Or wasn't something bullshit like: I'm from fucking Louisiana. And I swear if it has to do with it, I don't know what I'd do. But arggggg! So I got myself together and left to go to bowling. Pretty damn awesome mood I was in too. Told Jamie and Jen the news and turns out I didn't get to bowl at all! Great! Glad I wasted my time there! I ended up talking to Julie's mom. And Julie had asked her boyfriend, friend, and her pastor to come. I'm like hm, and see he has a Nikon camera bag. Wait a minute. Hey Julie, I once saw this picture of you on lift for church. Yeah, he took it. NO WAY! I'm his friend on Flickr! So that was the only cool part of my day. I met him and talked a bit, and he took a picture of me and Julie. He said I'm the first person to have met from that site. So that's pretty cool. I came home and worked on Stats. I have a test tomorrow. The day just gets better and better eh? ... Jackie, whoot! The team I like usually wins, so maybe they will! They have been doing really well. And have you noticed they've known like every language to where they've gone?? 9:17PM Quote of the day: --

March 28, 2006 So as of yesterday, we are completely done learning new things in Calc. That's pretty awesome. And makes us go wow. That's it with our high school math. Crazy. Had some delicious jambalaya with Jen today. Oh, no astronomy to do this week. I'm pretty excited about that. Tried to read Frankenstein in 6th. Watched a movie ini 7th. Came home after school. Mom and I drove separately to the altering place. But shit, we, not I as she likes to blame, forgot to bring my shoes to try on the dress with. I drove back home and got the shoes. Got back and met back up with her at the place. Put on the dress, and it was lovely. Now I'm completely excited about prom. Mom took the dress home as I went to Jamie's house. Her place finally sold so I went to say bye to it. And take some pictures. Had a nice time. Good pictures too. lol. Funny stuff. So I got home and that's really about it. Watching some tv now. It rocks. Amazing Race. I love the orange pants group. They are my favorite. 9:22PM Quote of the day: --

March 27, 2006 Had a lovely time with Jen, Rachel, and Bryan at lunch. Our main talk, does the easter bunny chocolate bunny taste 'hollow'? Yes, hollow as a flavor. Almost. lol. Rachel thinks so. I don't. We had a fire drill today in 5th. I was concerned for my face getting too much sun. It was fine though. The face too. The chin and cheeks are almost done peeling, but tonight I've noticed that the forehead has begun to peel. Caught up with Tori in 6th. Left 7th hour to go to tennis. I didn't really want to play, but I ended up play8ing with Stormie in this practice set thing. We lost, but oh well, we were just like ah who cares. I left with Jamie and went to her grandma's place. As her house has finally sold and she will be out by Thursday. It's so sad. I'll miss that house. We left there and went to dance. I signed up to take pictures for Saturday. Dance was fine, geting a little worried with the fact that we still have a fair amount to learn before the recital. Came home, had some food, now I'm watching 24. I got three college letters today. One from UVM, saying some stuff. The other from Virgina Tech, I got in. Yay. ish. I got another from Northeastern. ... :( Out of 27,000 applications, they can only fill 2,800 spots. So! I wasn't accepted, but I could be put on the waiting list. Which might as well be a no. Because, I have to sacrifice by saying no to the other colleges hoping that I can get in to Northeastern. Which is a chance I'm not willing to take (Would have to, due to the way the dates fall). So that's kinda sad. Northeastern was my 2nd choice. Such is life. So the last one I'm waiting on is Fordham, my first choice. How about that situation eh?! The one I want the most, is taking the longest. Well, should get it in a few days. Oh please, let me get in. 8:17PM Quote of the day: --

March 26, 2006 So I got almost 12 full hours of sleep last night. How amazing is that?! I was pretty excited. Crap, I didn't get one thing done on this website. I suck. And to the person that guess at the song, you got it right. I just have to get my ass in gear and send you the little oo congrats you guessed correctly email. I did however read about 40 pages in Tale of Two Cities today. I'm pretty proud of that. But discovered before dinner that I need to get 92 pages finished in Frankenstein by Friday. ... Ehh.h. You know what, that is it. Been listening to Andrew Bird all day. It's great. Mom doesn't like it, but I do. So you should listen. lol. Oh my face, right that update. It's gross. It's peeling like a sunburn and is tempting to touch. And I'm hoping a lot falls off when I'm sleeping tonight. Then I'll be fine to show my face at school. I've still got that dark area beneath my left eye, and I'm getting a little attached to it. lol. I do that sometimes. Know what's not that bad at all, and once again mom hates: Jolly Rancher jelly beans. Yeah. So I'm going to go finish that bag and read Frankenstein. Would much rather watch Young Frankenstein. I mean, it is the same thing. lol. (I put the 'lol' there so you know I'm kidding. Man, I hope. lol (but not there) I'll put a smile now: :D ) 9:20PM Quote of the day: --

March 25, 2006 Woke up somewhat early today. Went down to LSU for the Heart Walk. We parked and walked over to the area. Waited around our tent and mom and I then walked to the start/finish point of the race. I brought my camera today and ended up taking a few hundred pictures, lol. Quite a bit. It started and turns out it was a 5K walk. ... Opps, thought it was 2, so a little more than expected. But we got through it. Headed over to the food tables because we got screwed over at the Race for the Cure. Got some jambalaya, then a coke, then some more jambalaya, but it was soo gross so we tossed it. Then I got a subway sandwich was kinda gross but I ate it. And a little smoothie. That's always good. Then we just stood around and I took more pictures. I also was trying my best to not allow my face to get too much sun, because that would be pretty bad. The condition today is, quite peely. It's gross. Feels like dry spit all over my face. And when I laugh, talk, eat, it cracks more. It's getting nasty, but doing everything right so whatever. lol. We finally left and then went to the mall. I returned a pair of possible prom shoes, and then got 3 sets of possible jewelry to go with my dress. I'll try it all out when we get the dress back Tuesday. We got a drink at CC's and maybe made a few more stops, can't remember fully. We did make a stop at Wal-Mart. Then came home. And I've been fixing those pictures since. Well finished now and had dinner, but I want to do more with them. But maybe tomorrow. But crap, I've got a lot of chapters to read tomorrow. Bleh. Oh, lmao, it was a week with the boyfriend yesterday, but neither of us mentioned it. We forgot. haha. 8:06PM Quote of the day: --

March 24, 2006 Saw that my face was a little bit better today. Redness had gone down but this left eye looks like a black eye. I did go to school because I could cover it fairly well. Still there, but a whole lot better. Not much happened in the morning. Or lunch. Or afternoon. We had a sub 7th hour so I got a lot of work done which is nice and now I won't be bothered with it this weekend. After school I came home and got mom. We went downtown so I could show her the photography show. The winners, so one of mine, were already taken down to be moved to another gallery. Exciting, but I wanted her to see it. We left and came home. I guess I sat around for a bit, but then went out to Wal-Mart to get something and buy a CD. But the CD wasn't there, so I felt the strong urge to go to Barnes & Noble. Went in there and resisted from getting the book Tis. Went to the music section and bought a CD by Coldplay and Andrew Bird. Pretty nice. I left and picked up some dinner for myself. Came home, ate, and now the night is almost over. I've got an early deal tomorrow morning, another race, except I won't be running, because it's a walk, lol. Anyway. Bye for now. Maybe I'll update the site this weekend. 9:14PM Quote of the day: --

March 23, 2006 Interesting day today. Painful too. Anyway. Finally after 3 days, our Calc test finished. Printed one picture in Photo and helped out my teacher with some things. As she says I'm her assistant. lolol. Left at lunch and picked up some lunch at Burger King. I came home, ate, and rushed out the door to go to the derma doctor. I asked what could be done about one thing and next thing I know I'm getting a chemical peel. And holy shit!! did it hurt! Oh it stung soo badly that I couldn't breathe and thought I might pass out. I was given a fan and that helped. It made my face extremely red. I looked awful. Was quite embarrassed with it too. I came home, with the air going at a fast pace. And since I've been sitting near a fan. Because it feels good and helps me. The redness is down, but under my left eye it looks like I got punched. Fantastic. If I continue to look shitty tomorrow, I really don't want to go to school. It sucks. But I won't care unless it works out and helps me. Watching the Office now. That helps too. lol. Kate, great, and sent one back already! 8:44PM Quote of the day: --

March 22, 2006 Hmmm I'm tired. Found out this one photo contest wasn't going to be announced today, but instead on April 5th. More waiting! It's the worst part. So ehhh, 2 more weeks. Man. Drove myself, Rachel, and Julie through a drive thru at Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. We went back to school for a NHS meeting. I got stuck with making these templetes for ... a card or the announcement of a teacher breakfast. Since I'm savvy with computers and all. lol. Yay. Okay, had to put the dog out just then. I've lost track. Oh: I hate Astronomy. Not that you didn't know that already. lol. Printed in 6th today. An 8x10. It rocks. Okay. lol. Skipped out on tennis and came home. Did lots of homework stuff. I watched Lost. I don't know. Somehome it's after 9. Where did the time go today? 9:25PM Quote of the day: --

March 21, 2006 Quickly: Our road is fully paved. Exciting! Came home for lunch. Printed in 4th and 6th. This time like 3-4-5 pictures or so. I'm happy. Came home after school, and went to get my dress altered. Looks fine. And now I'm going. 9:57PM Quote of the day: --

March 20, 2006 Back in the darkroom during Photo, printed 2 pretty pictures. Ate with the big group at lunch. Oh, Astron sucks because she wants us to visit websites and answer questions. Thing is, the websites are can not be displayed. Grrr. Printed in 6th, four pictures this time. I love working in the darkroom so much. Didn't do much in 7th. Jamie came and visited my class of 2 (including me lol). Came home after school. Oh, I got nominated or something like that by UVM to get a scholarship that would be used as $8,000 over a period 4 years. That's pretty cool. Yet to hear from the other three. I had dance tonight and we got our costumes for hip hop. Mom thinks it's ugly. I think they kick ass. Here is a picture. It rocks. We'll also have a black hat with pink. A pink bowtie and my shoelaces will be pink. I love it. That's about it. Kate, okay, I'll probably send another one soon. Jackie, lol thanks! :D I'm actually ready for these days to be over. heh. Oh yes, I agree! 9:00PM Quote of the day: --

March 19, 2006 (later)Here is my dress. Ignore the crap in the background says my mother. It fits perfectly, so shows the curves nicely. And red is my favorite color. I heart it so. 8:27PM -- :D :D First off, we're dating now. As of Friday night! !!! Super excited. I also got to see him yesterday. Which was wonderful as always. Picked him up at 1:30. We went downtown to make sure the Arts Council was really closed on Sunday. It was :( I showed him where prom will take place. Then we went to the mall. He went along with me to return the New Orleans dress and then the skirt I got with Lauren last week. He was hungry, as I already ate before heh, so we went to the food court and I got a drink while he ate some food. Got some cookies afterwards and went back to the car to go to the other dress store. Just to see if anything compares to the red dress I liked a lot earlier. Nothing did compare, at two different stores. So we were to meet my mom at the place to buy it. So I put it back on and showed it to him. He liked it a lot. :D Good! And so did mom too when she got there. We bought it and mom took it home as we weren't sure what to do now. I had been wanting him to watch Wedding Crashers since like the first time he came here, but it was never here to watch it. We finally got it back and so we went to my house and well watched it. Yes, actually watched it. As both parents were home. Well. Yeah. We did. And he liked it. Hilarious movie. We were hungry so we left the house and went to find some place to eat. Decided on Chili's. It was good and we had a very nice time. It was 8 by the time we left and he needed to get back to his dad, to visit him too you know. So I drove back over there and we ended up staying in the car until after 10. lol. ;D lol. Said bye and I came home. Today I watched Wedding Crashers again and worked on homework. Then mom got off early from work and I met her at the mall to find some shoes for the dress. We found some, yay! In fact, two pairs. I couldn't decide so I'll try it all on with the dress. We went on a search for a clutch, but couldn't find one. Oh well. We stopped at Olive Garden on the way back and had dinner. MMmm it was so good. So now I'm going to finish up homework and watch the new Grey's Anatomy and then talk to Grant and such. *quite happy* 7:17PM Quote of the day: --

March 18, 2006 Right quick: Woke up. Got dressed. Drove to a dress/bridal shop and searched for a prom dress. I found this beautiful pink one, but problem was the train. It was just so long, and it would be problematic you know. So we found a red one, and omg I love it. So yay! Should buy it later today. Grant's coming in soon and he'll have to come with me. And yeah. Excitement. Okay, bye. 12:46PM Quote of the day: --

March 16, 2006 So as a prize for getting 3rd in the show, I got some film, type speed 100 tMax, pretty nice. Been pretty tired these days even though I've been getting more sleep than usual. After school I went to Kadair's and picked up my negatives and CD. They turned out well, and were found, so yay! I then picked up some food on the way home, of course lol. I have a headache now, but I'm also watching Death to Smoochy since I'm running out of time before the due date. And I'm doing some fabulous Astronomy. Been pretty busy lately, may not seem like it, but oh I am. Some have submitted things to me, I've got them, but I'm going to have to put it on hold for now. The Office comes on tonight, I'm ready for that. Kate, thanks a lot! Jackie, lol, thanks awesome. Oh, lots going on with me these days! Okay! 7:50PM Quote of the day: --

March 15, 2006 Good day today! Well, I did have a Stats test which was.... eh. lol. OH! This morning, (our road is getting torn up and put under construction, repairing it. Always fantastic.) they were working on the road and they more or less blocked my driveway so I couldn't get out. So a moment of high stress, because I could either drive through the grass, or get picked up by Jen. But I wanted my car. I got help from the neighbor which was nice and I finally got out. Anyway, after school and came home. Had just a small problem trying to get back to the driveway, nothing too terrible though. So I talked with mom for a bit and the rushed into the shower. I got ready pretty quickly, I was amazed and left the house. I got downtown and parked at about ... 5:10 and saw Julie and Tori in the parking lot. Went upstairs to place, which oddly enough was the place where I tried out for Annie a long time ago in 9th grade. So it turns out I got 3rd for one of my pictures!! I'm pretty happy about that. Finally it comes off as being worth it. I don't agree with first place at all though. I'm not being bitter, I just can't stand that picture. I did enjoy watching people react to my work. I hope some will sell. That would be fantastic. I also talked to a professional there about my work. That gave me an ego boost to be frank lol. I left and came home, called Grant during it. Saw the house, and the garage door was down so I passed up the house and went to find a good location to take a picture of the moon. It is massive tonight!! But not many came out that are fine enough to show. Oh well. So, yay! I'm pleased. 9:18PM Quote of the day: --

Will enter with two pictures and whoot didn't have to reprint them. Ate with the large group at lunch. Actually pretty boring day at school. I came home and didn't go to bowling. I'm kinda worried about this Stats test tomorrow. Really hope it doesn't kick me ass too badly. Meh. I am excited about the reception tomorrow for the photo show. Quite excited. Okay, back to my stuff. Kate, thank you! For once I don't really care about not winning, and I'm very pleased with how I did in the end. thanks again! And I need your email pleaseee. You can email be it. Yeah, lol. 9:13PM Quote of the day: --

March 13, 2006 Good day today. Got a B in Calc though, so crap so Honor Roll for me. Stats, lol, that's another story. Who knows what that'll turn out to be. Not good, I'll tell you that much. Talked with Tori about our weekends in Photo, lovely. Went home for lunch. Omg. I have another bitch load of work to do this week in Astron. I can't believe it. It's like we're combining two weeks worth of work into one. Didn't go to 7th hour because I was changing for tennis. When I got back from lunch, I got word from my coach that I would be playing today!!! Exciting! This would be my first match since I was screwed over with the uniform situation/moment. So I drove to the park. All courts were taken up so I had to wait. Finally I started, and was partners with Marie, a ... 10th grader? Not sure, lol, heh. We lost the first set 1-6. Started on the second set and won 6-2. Whoot! so tiebreaker, except we just decided to do a 3rd set. We lost 1-6. Aw, but I'm proud of myself. lol. Really. I was just terrible in the beginning with my serves. Couldn't get one. But once we got to the 2nd set, I was getting them all. But wooo was it hot outside. Anyway, I had fun and I'm pleased that I got to play because this might be my only chance to play. So yay! lol I then was very late for dance, by ... 15-20 minutes. I did get to dance, and caught up and it was really good. Got dinner and came home. Ate. mm. Called Grant. What else. Doing homework and watching 24 right now. Intense. OH1!!! How could I have forgottten!!!! I GOT INTO UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT!!! I'M LEAVING LOUISIANA AND NEVER COMING BACK!!! I'm so happy. Mom wanted to cry, lol. 8:32PM Quote of the day: --

March 12, 2006 Okay, amazing night last night. Whoa. It was awesome, had lots of fun and everything. Wow. lol. I left he house just 15ish minutes after yesterdays blog. I rushed to get gas and rushed to Barnes and Noble. As I said, I was worried I would be late. I got there, and went inside to wait. I ended up finding the book Tis by Frank McCourt and was one page away from finishing chapter one when I got the call that they were there. Went outside to wait and there he was. And his mother, ah this was it! As normal I freak out about stuff that ends up not being that bad at all. So it was short, but went fine. As far as know. ... Hm. lol. Still waiting on that actually. Anyway! So we visited his dad, and well met him too, and that was fine. We got the keys and went to his dads apartment. omg shut up, we were alone. Got the okay from my parents so yay. We went to Blockbuster to rent the movie Death to Smoochy. Left and went to his apartment. Went inside to watch it and discovered that he doesn't have a DVD player. Well crap lol. We could either buy one or watch it on the computer, so I dropped the idea that we could drive to my house and I'd pick up the portable one and we could hook it up to his tv. Did do just that and finally made it back to the apartment. Started to watch the movie and well, you know. lol. ;) Did pay attention to the end and it was twisted and so overdramatic, but good. It wasn't bad, but now I'm considering watching the whole movie some time before I have to bring it back. Aren't I nice to do so. Anyway so we were hungry so we go to McDonalds. The drive-thru. Like lunch, except at night lol. Got food and went back and had the tv going while we ate. Then we popped in Garden State. I brought that movie. Got to part where Large meets Sam for the first time, and that was it. lol. Actually, near the end, or almost near the end, we lol we both feel asleep. Well. That was sweet. And remind you, I woke up at 4 that morning, so I was surprised I was awake as I was. Yeah, anyway. So got the word that his dad was coming home and then we said bye to his dad. lol, then went out to my car and just sat and listened ot music. For the majority of the time. lol. Then I had to byeee. Oh, it was so hard to do. Didn't want it to end at all. Got home right at 12:30 :( Went to sleep. Today I woke up and didn't do much. Did homework, did some picture business with the ones I took yesterday at the Race for the Cure. Turns out I was 13 seconds slower than I was last year. :( That's too bad. Oh well. So now I need to do a little bit more, then it's time for Grey's Anatomy and well Desperate Housewives before that. And then hopefully a phone call. Ah, it was good. lol. Astraea, oh yes. Yes. 6:30PM Quote of the day: --

March 11, 2006 Doing this now because I won't later. I woke up very early, at 4am and got ready. I arrived downtown with my mother at about 5:40. We help set up for the Race for the Cure. I separated some registration forms and then took a seat with mom and helped people sign them out. Quite quite busy the whole time. Then I got ready because it would be time for me to run my race. The 5K. oooo. The goal was to beat 40 minutes. Now at home, it took me like 43 or so. So it started and I ran the whole first mile! I was so proud! Did it in 11 min and 30 sec. Not too bad. I walked a lot of the 2nd because I felt very sick. Go figure. Then I at the end I pushed really hard to get under 40 and I did! It was close though. At 39 min and 5 seconds. I'm thrilled. It was so hot though. I sweating a lot, but luckily the mint gum in my mouth and the iPod helped me get through it. I found mom afterwards and we walked around trying to find food or water, but it was all gone. They really underestimated the turnout this year. Which is good, but not good for us personally lol. We did sit down eventually and just watched. I relaxed as I felt quite drained. We did leave and oh lol, I had picked a huge chunk of skin off during the end of the race and I was bleeding a lot so I had to change shirts. Just did it right in the parking lot. Do what you gotta do lol. We left, but before we left the area I drove around trying to find the Arts Council building. We did and found out where to park for Wednesday. Then we stopped to get some lunch. Mom finished hers before mine even arrived. That wasn't cool and turns out they killed the sandwich something awful and it was just wrong and bad. Very disappointed after that wait. We then went to Kadair's to pick up my negatives/CD, but of course, it is lost. They searched the place for probably about 30 minutes though. So we're hoping that it was accidently sent back to the 2nd location. I sure hope so. Left there and went to Fashion House Boutique to find a skirt I liked on Monday. Tried it on, lovely lovely. But I needed a shirt and ended up getting one, and some earrings. For $200. Heh. It was expensive but I will totally where it again. I finally got home and popped into the shower. Now I'm just about ready. I will be meeting Grant (that's his name as I've now said it finally lol) at 5 at Barnes and Noble and then spend the rest of the nigth with him, until I have to go. But I'm excited. But nervous, meeting his mom. Nervous. woo. Okay. So time to finish up, leave, get gas, arrive early and wait! 4:01PM Quote of the day: --

March 10, 2006 Woke up. Got a text from the guy. Made me smile. Had a pop quiz in Calc. Watched a flick on Jack the Ripper in English. Stats sucked. In photo, hm, oh well I found out about another contest, specifically nature, which is perfect. Went to Blimpie for lunch, but it was closed. Tori and Julie pulled in behind us. We each went to Subway and ordered there. They told us that their group was eating at McDonalds so we all went there to actually eat. lol. But I got a desert there, so didn't feel too bad walking in with Subway. haha, left Study Hall with Tori, and the school, and went to Blockbuster to get a movie. She bought Lost in Translation. We got back and the teacher didn't let us watch it. Damn. We went to the next class. It was only Graham and me, and the teacher too. So we just watched another movie there. Left school and went to the mall. lol, I got stuck in the middle of the intersection. I was cursing in my car and I got evil looks from the people that were trying to get by. Oh well. I don't care. I got to the mall. Went pee. Went into Gadzooks and ran into Lauren! Completely unexpected. I explained my situation to her and she said she had time to kill so would help me out. I needed a skirt, or anything for Wednesday. We went to a few stores and didn't really come up with anything. I did end up getting something, in the hopes that it would work out. But I got home, and nooo. Crapola! So I have this shirt, but need a skirt so I'm going back to Fashion House Boutique, where I went with Jamie on Monday. Anyway. Traffic was an absolute bitch all afternoon. But I did get home, eat dinner, and then come online. I'm so excited about tomorrow evening!!! He's coming back into town and all mine. :D 9:33PM Quote of the day: --

March 9, 2006 I want to give out a big hoorah to the fact that after working on Astronomy for 4 long days, I have finally finished all assignments!!! I am thrilled that I am done. But alas, will have more by Monday. lol, it never ends! Anyway so odd weather today. We were suppose to get this terrible storm in the afternoon, but until that moment it was windy, very very windy, the whole day. It was ridiculous. The dust got picked up and was blowing all over the place. It was so weird. But I do know that I have so much dust and dirt in my eyes and nose and throat that it is just gross. My eyes are dry and hurting. It really picked up during photo and I was starting to freak out and would look out the window in this trance like look. I hate that it worries me, but it still does. My photo teacher came up to me also today and said she had an extra frame and if I wanted to add more to the show. !!! Of course! So the one I wanted to add originally was put back in! I'm so excited now. So now, a grand total of 6 pictures, with the total price of $300, but I could make (at a max) of $240. I'm excited. lol. I'm also featured on one of the flyers. Too cool! I came home for lunch. oh!! I was helping Tori clean up in 6th and as I was walking towards my next class I see the fire drll light going off and was like hm. I hope I'm just seeing things. But I ran into Jamie and sure enough it was a fire drill. I hand't even gotten to my class so I had to find them. Wasn't too bad, but caused a slight panic of ahhh what do i dooo?? And let me remind you that this storm was coming, and it was still very very windy. We were out standing on the softball field and the dirt kept picking up and getting at us. lol, it was miserable. I'm laughing now, but we were all whining earlier lol. And then it started to rain!!! but luckily it stopped shortly. We were out there for abour 20-25 minutes. That was an experience. The wind was awful. The clouds were moving quickly though. It reminded me of a small Katrina or somehting. Which, we got a new senior today, Scott and he's from N.O.. So after school I came home and went to work on Astron just hoping the power wouldn't go out. That would be quite bad. I did manage to finish the last 3 assignments. So happy I'm done. I've got a test in it tomorrow, but right now I can tell you anything on the evolution of stars, it's disgusting lol. I had to repeat myself so many times. It was awful. Anyway! I want to get undusted so I'm heading to get ready for bed. 9:45PM Quote of the day: --

March 8, 2006 Today was just fine. Helped Tori in Photo 2 and fixed a little bit on my pictures, like name and price tags type of thing. Some jackass honked at me while at lunch, apparently he thought I was pulling out in his lane. I know for a fact that I wasn't. Idiot. Worked hard in Astron. Did homework in 6th. Left early for bowling in the next hour. Found out it was our last game, and that it was turned into Senior night. (or afternoon whatever lol). Coaches had forgotten so I expected nothing really. but Jen (another one) and Bethany went out and bought these embarrassing fairy wings we were to wear. And some streamers, well they weren't technically streamers, but I'm calling them that. I had called my mom up earlier so that she could get over and watch me play one last time (unless we make it to playoffs.) So I put the stuff in my hair and we (the girls team) was called into a room, strange... And they gave us a rose. aw... you know what, it touched me a lot. :) took some pictures and I went to the practice lanes for the first game, lol. Bonded with Julie and then I got to play in the 2nd and 3rd, yay! I got a 98 and then a 122. Beat my person in the last one, and omg was it close. I got a spare and if I hadn't I would have lost. It was exciting. No one was against me in the first game I did. So mom followed me home. Oh! I saw someone get pulled over on the interstate right behind me. It was scary. That could have been me, but luckily this scary truck carrying smashed pound-type cars was next to me and all of this stuff was flying off, so I had slowed down to the speed limit. That's luck. Been working on Astron since and I'm still not done. This isn't good at all. I'm doing Stats hw now and when that is finished it's back to Astron. What is cool though is that it turns out I bowl the exact same way as my mother. Too neat! She does a little hop at the end and I do too. You really can't miss me and I've been/asked about it since the time I started. And I never even knew that she did it. Weird huh? Maybe it's because I wear her old bowling shoes, lol nahhh. Kate, the one in charge of the gallery seems to think that all (or most) will sell. So I'm very excited! But keeping a clear mind just in case it doesn't work out. I'm not too upset over the tests. It sucks, but I can't do very much about it now and can only hope for the best in the final grade result. Things are pretty damn awesome with this beau I keep mentioning. Oh believe me, if I don't have an explanation, you can count on tons of pictures (and of course I'll have an explanation, I was just saying lol). Aw thanks a lot!! Maybe I'll use them next year then! 9:56PM Quote of the day: --

March 7, 2006 Today in Photo I finally finished my framing and cleaning and prepping of my pictures. I also priced them at $50. Thing is, we have to give 20% to the gallery, so that would leave me with $40. And if I am quite lucky, and my five pictures sell, that's $200. Nice. I hope I am lucky lol. It's too bad we lose 20%, but I shouldn't complain lol. Went to Jen's house for lunch and we watched some of the Ring 2 ...looked weird. lol. The first one freaked me out, but this looked stupid. Anyway. The kids in my online class are sooo damn annoying. I try to block them out with the iPod. Doesn't always work. Went on a trekking adventure with Tori in 6th. We looked up this girl she was to take pictures of and we 3 went out to the woods behind the baseball field. Crossed a ditch and went in and took the pictures and then went back. I was her assistant, held her film canister, lol. Um. Hm. Yeah, that's it for school. I came home and slaved over homework and Astronomy since I've got a 60pt and 100pt thing due. Finished the 60pt one and have only 15/100pts done of the other ... Won't finish tonight, but I haven't turned anything in late for quite some time. So hopefully it won't be that bad. Anyway, so I somehow managed to watch the new show: Sons & Daughters. Too many people in the cast at first, and then hey, that main guy reminds me (and mom and dad) of Michael Scott from The Office.... hey now. Watch it guys. Have Amazing Race going on now and doing more Astron. I have to do this chart that makes no sense and she didn't give any directions on what I'm suppose to be doing it. Gr. Anyway! My eyes are dry. Random. And how about some more: The roof of my mouth is like burnt, it's weird and feels weird. ... Oh wait I was tagged by Kate.
Book You’d Use for Tinder: My Astronomy notebook. I loathe that class.
So Weird It’s Good: I Heart Huckabees.
Food for the Soul: Something from Starbucks. Hmm I had something from there today...
A Never-Ending Journey: This blog. muwhaha.
Supreme Overlord: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
I tag the people that favorite my site, lol. Thanks guys.
Kate, lol you know that doesn't make much sense to me. But, I'm glad it worked out! ooo you've got a lot to catch up on! I wish you luck. And that of course, you enjoy it. 9:53PM Quote of the day: --

March 6, 2006 I'm going to make this as quick as possible. Back to school for me. Got a 76 C on my Calc test. Got a 61 D on my Stats test. Math officially hates me and all my effort. I told Jen of this new boy in my life at lunch, lol. Found out that I've got two massive assignments in Astron due tomorrow. oh shit! Yeah. Um. I definately read them as being due this Friday, not tomorrow. So crap! Caught up with Tori in Study Hall. Left 7th early to go to tennis. Didn't play, but did my homework there. Left with Jamie and we met at this Fashion House Boutique store, clothes. I tried on a shirt that was on sale, but alas too small. She got a shirt. We went to Cane's, I got a drink and she ate, we chatted. Went to dance finally and had an amazing time. It's just sooo much fun. Such a good group and the dance is awesome. But boy, it was quite a workout tonight. Sweat a lot. lol. I bet you're all happy to know that. I picked up dinner, and called the guy I keep mentioning on here on the way home and found out some fantastic knews. So we had the issue that our prom nights were on the same night. .. And he already had a date, but he talked to the date today and she said that he should go with me and so she got another date and someone will buy the tickets from him and so now he is going with me to mine!! That was a runon sentence lol. But I'm so so so so so happy and excited. Wow! I get to see him again on Saturday and the day can't arrive here any quicker. So now 24 was awesome and that poor guy at the end :( Such an intense show and now I'm off to work on more Astronomy and to call my now date guy later! Despite my shitty morning, I'd say the day has ended pretty damn well. 9:44PM Quote of the day: --

March 5, 2006 (later) Well, I enjoyed the Oscars this year. Jon Stewart did a fine job. Humor was the theme, clearly. And lots of montages. It was all good. Some surprise results there at times actually. New layout. Kinda unfinished, but I need something bright lol. Finished up homework and now I'm watching some Oscar stuff! Maybe another update later. 5:09PM Quote of the day: --

March 4, 2006 Got up early and went downtown with dad to take pictures of this market happening. Happens every Saturday. I was driving and feared that I would have to parallel park (because I can't!!) but luckily I was just able to pull in behind someone. Yay. So we walked over to it. Made a trip through it. Eh. Walked off elsewhere and I began to take pictures. Did a lot and some people out there stole my ideas with a sign and such. In face I must have seen like ... 15-20 different photographers. Apparently it's the hot spot lol. I finished a black and white roll and took 117 digital. I'll post the best or some, at another time. Maybe tomorrow, lol. We drove home, but first stopped at Sonic. Came home. ... hm. Oh, worked on those pictures for a very long time. Did Stats and read only a chapter of Frankenstein. That's okay though. ;D 9:17PM Quote of the day: --

March 3, 2006 (later) Wow, so happy these days. All smiles. 11:56PM So I might just have to get in the habit of blogging in the evening, because I'm too distracted by the night, lol. So! Not too much today. I did go get my hair cut and dyed/low lighted, ish. I got red ones again. But she also dyed the bottom/underneath of my hair a bit darker because the color it was made it look thin. It looks natural, don't worry. Spent almost 2 hours getting that done. Insane. I'm always amused by salons anyway. The talk going on in them. I'm not one for it, but will listen. Afterwards I stopped by Walgreens. Then came home and soon after went back out to Tropical Cafe to pick up some lunch. Came back, ate, and then I don't know. I've got a small headache. I finally got around to doing some homework. Finished Calc and about to read some of my 10 required chapters of Frankenstein. I've also decided to, "what the hell, I'll add them," the pictures I did on Mardi Gras. I am not naked, so don't even bother. [one] [two] [three] [four] Once again, not naked, just bleached out. I like them. A lot. Anyway. lol. That's it for now. I have a layout sorta ready, but I feel like I should do more with it. But not sure what. So what I may end up doing is just put up what I have. 6:08PM Quote of the day: --

March 2, 2006 Better do this now, or I might not get the chance later. So yeah, yesterday was good. I've been full of :D and more :D since and during. I was out of gas so before I went to bowling I stopped to get some gas. Duh! Then made it perfectly on time to bowling. I am awesome. I bowled a 120, 122, 98, 104? I can't quite remember now. I left early though to go to tennis. We had a great time. I was so very loud and cracking jokes, I don't know what gets into me. But as long as people are laughing, then it's all good. We didn't have the spitting ball machine, but we played Jail, and I don't feel like explaining it, but it was awesome. Had a great time. I came home and then watched Lost and Project Runway. And then ended up talking on the phone for almost 2 hours *sigh* lol. Today! I had bowling. Which went well. I got a 130, 98, 125, 112, and a 124. Not bad. We ordered some pizza too. I stopped at Sonic on the way home. Later watched the Office. Not as good as an episode as past ones. But still lovely. And now I'm going to finish this up, ending my AIM convos to move to a phone, lol. Night! 10:45PM Quote of the day: --
