As I said, up at 8 and I showered. We started the day, by getting lunch at Friendly's but they took forever. It was unbelievable. We finally got our food after 1 and ate up quickly. Then mom, dad, and I went to Kohl's to look for some bedding. After searching and looking, I finally decided upon something. Then we went to Wal-Mart and I got a bunch of random kitcheny things and cleaning supplies. Meanwhile Nick was moving out someone else's things, I can't remember where we went next. I think possibly Bed, Bath, and Beyond. And then went to Big Lots to see about a couch, but it wouldn't work out for many reasons. And then I guess on to Lowe's and then we drove around and decided to eat at Junior's for dinner. It was good and then my parents dropped me off to see Nick for a few hours. He finished up laundry and packed a lot of stuff, moving things to the living room for the next day. He drove me back and again I had a horrible time of sleeping. I got to sleep around 2 and woke up at 5:30. Fun! 9:24PM

I woke up at 7 this day to shower, get ready, and pack. I didn't do anything the night before except laundry. I did it all in the morning. I was a little pressed for time, but I had a suitcase weight issue. My stuff was too heavy. So I didn't get to put in nearly the amount I had hoped for. Oh wells, next time. We got in the car and drove the airport. We checked in and went through security. I bought Cosmopolitan and a little pizza. We waited at the gate and at last we left around 11 I think. Maybe 12. We flew to Atlanta and then had about a 3 hour layover. It was too bad I guess. I walked around a lot with mom, got lunch at Popeye's and took a little nap. We then flew on to Burlington and arrived just before 8. It took forever to get our luggage, as always. We then went on to get the rental car and before checking in at the hotel, drove by the new apartment. Nick came to the hotel and we all went out to eat at Friendly's for dinner. It was tasty, but they were out of popcorn chicken :( I was exhausted and had a headache, so I said bye to Nick and then could not sleep. I finally fell asleep around 3 and woke up at 5, was up for an hour, fell back asleep around 6 and was up at 8. Not fun. 9:12PM

Lexi got trapped in the backside of the house this morning so she came to whine at me to free her lol. So I was woken up by the puppy again. It wasn't too early, but I was trying to get in as much sleep as possible. I got up and showered and had breakfast. I did a load of laundry and I helped brush Lexi's fur. She had so many knots in them, it was such a struggle. But now she is pretty and neat! I cross stitched some more, talked to Nick a bit, and watched I Am Legend. A little scary and the dog's death was the worst part. I'll be going to sleep pretty shortly. 10:28PM

I woke up at 7:30 and got ready. I had a little breakfast and then went to the dentist. The lady scraped at my teeth incredibly hard. It's never been that rough. It was awful. Ouch. I was bleeding all over the place. After an hour I was finally out of there and on my way home. I relaxed for a little bit and then mom and I went out to the mall, to BJ's, to have lunch with Jamie and her mom. We had a nice time and were there for quite a while. When that was over, mom and I went to Dillards to buy some pants and then went early to my eye doctor. We were there for forever! And the whole check up took maybe 10 minutes, at the most. It was crazy. But I am a ok. Mom and I then went to Target to return something and I thought I saw an old co-worker, but I think I may have been wrong. They looked very similar. We made one more stop and then came home. I cooked up some leftover ravioli and jambalaya. I talked to Nick for a little bit and then watched the latest Mummy movie. I actually thought it was pretty good. I had low hopes, but it wasn't so bad. 10:37PM

Woke up at like 7:45 today! Yikes. I stayed in bed till a little after 8 but got up once I knew I wouldn't fall back asleep. Today I packed 2 boxes up. They weigh a lot, but I need the stuff in them. I took out all I could of what I don't. I took a little nap later in the day after watching tv. Again, not so eventful, but tomorrow I'll very busy. 10:17PM

Lexi woke me up this morning with her whining. She always seems to wake me up in the morning. I did my normal day things. I did go get a haircut though. It's a tiny bit shorter. After I picked up some boxes at UPS and then I had jambalaya leftovers at home for lunch and I did a lot of cross stitching. It's looking good, the three colors on it lol. In 4 months I will be 22. Today I finally got to Hobby Lobby and I got a big cross stitch thing to work on. It's a puppy sleeping on a rug. Very cute. So I worked a lot on that today. I also made dinner: jambalaya. I was kind of winging it and really thought it wouldn't turn out ok, but it was fine! And I watched the premiere of Jon and Kate Plus 8. Jon and Kate aren't looking too good and that's very sad for me. I hope they can manage to work something out. 10:14PM

I decided that a good project for the remaining week would be to do some cross stitching. So I went on a search to look around the house for one I knew I never finished. But I couldn't find it. I went to Wal-Mart to see if they had any, but they didn't. I tried Hobby Lobby, but it was closed as I suspected. Then dad and I went out to Best Buy and then I checked out Target since they were next door. Nope, nothing there. So I'm going to go Tuesday, maybe. I figure Hobby Lobby won't be open tomorrow. So much for my idea! I watched Into the Wild and talked to Nick a lot today. And that was pretty much my day. And watching a lot of Jon and Kate Plus 8 reruns. 11:17PM

I had a rough time sleeping last night. I was up for an hour or so from 5-6, and I felt restless. Very odd. I gave up and got up around 9:40 and cleaned up. Normal morning thing and then I decided to watch one episode of Big Love since I'm pretty much done. I'm trying to stretch it now. And I also watched the latest James Bond movie and Man on Wire. Bond, ehhh, not so fantastic. Man on Wire was really neat and good. I talked to Nick a little throughout the day and I had some lasagna for dinner. Otherwise, pretty uneventful. I am off all my eye drop medicines. Now it's just regular refreshing type eye drops. I'm tired due to last night so I'm going to get in bed earlier tonight. 10:46PM

Let me see, I did the typical morning routine here, shower, breakfast, paper's sudoku, and then I drove to LaMadeliene's for lunch to meet Jamie and Amber. We all got stuck in traffic on the way there. As we were waiting for Amber I explained to Jamie about my LASIK and she would like to get it done, possibly, one day. Amber finally arrived and we ordered our food. The place was packed, it was almost 1 though. We found a secret room and sat down to eat. Very yummy lunch and we talked all the while. Once we were done, we said bye and would perhaps meet up one more time before I return to Vermont. I then went on to Kohl's to return some shorts that I didn't want or need. And then I decided to stop at Big Lots. I had heard from someone that one of my managers from Linens N Things might be working there. So I went in and looked around, but I didn't see a soul, not even one person to ask. I left and came home. I watched a little Jon and Kate Plus 8 reruns, but I had a headache so I mostly just laid around in bed. We ordered Outback for dinner and my burger was not cooked all the way. Oh well. I cleaned out some drawers a tiny bit and then went to sleep pretty late. 10:43PM

I did not do anything too special today. I did sleep without my goggles. Big deal! I didn't pole myself in the eyeball, so that's great! I feel like I taught myself to never really rub my eyes when my contacts were in, that's in bed or in the shower, so now that it seems I have permanent contacts, I feel the same way. At one point I picked up my pants that I had dropped off a week before to get trimmed. They look ok. I also made cupcakes and one little cake since I ran out of those paper cupcake holder things. And then I cooked a pizza for dinner. Watched a lot of Curb Your Enthusiasm, finally done with it too. And that is all! I drove today too, it was fine. lol. 10:10PM

Anyway, I did the same thing today, relaxed, talked to Nick, apply to more jobs/internships and watched Curb Your Enthusiasm. Had some strange dreams last night. But today I got up at 9:30, cleaned up and had breakfast. I watched more Big Love and I had my Olive Garden leftovers for lunch. Then out we went to the mall to do more shopping. I did good good. A delia's just opened up so I got some much needed little tank tops. Mine currently are too small / too short. And I liked one of their jeans, so I got some of that. Stores wears I'm a larger size make me feel old in them, like this store. I had to get a 7/8. Maybe a 5/6 would have worked, but I'm saving for shrinking room since it seems like everything shrinks. And Hollister, feel too old for that store too because I'm in a 7 there. We went on to some other stores. I got a free undie at Victoria's Secret and then went to Express to use my coupons. I got 4 shirts that would have cost 103, I got them all for 27. Woohoo!! I get the best deals there. Well then we came home and I talked to Nick. We had dinner and then Nick and I had a date, a webcam date lol. Then I watched that new show Glee and here I am. I think I'm done shopping for a little while. 9:55PM

Today I did leave the house. I started off the same way but once mom was ready we went over to Perkins Rowe and did a little shopping. I got a black dress at White House Black Market because I needed one for initiation for the sorority in September. It was hard to find something in my size, they had a bunch of zero's and two's and double zeros. This dress has a little extra room and let's face it, I'm only getting wider and bigger from here on out. lol. We went on to Guess and I got a cute jacket and then we left the area. We did pick up some delicious Olive Garden for myself. It was ready within 8 or so minutes and I ate it at home. I watched a lot of Big Love and watched tv from 8-10. I have a few days left of the goggles that I sleep in. Three more nights. The tape hurts so badly when you rip it off. 10:17PM

I've become boring. I got up, did the paper's sudoku, took a shower. I went to Wal-Mart with mom. We picked up some donuts on the way home. I applied for a job and then I tried a bunch of clothes and decided to get rid of a trash bag size amount. And I still have a lot of clothes lol after all that. I talked to Nick. I had a grilled cheese for lunch and we got out Outback for dinner. I watched a little tv, slapped on my goggles and went to sleep. 10:14PM

I slept in till about 10. Then Nick called me and we talked for a while. I had another tub bath with no washing of the hair. It's gross. I don't need anymore hairspray, the grease keeps my hair down. Hahaha. So nasty. I can't wait to wash it tomorrow. Later dad and I saw Angels and Demons. I needed to test out my eyes and see if they could handle a movie theater. They did, lol. The movie was decent, I think I liked the first better. It wasn't too bad, I enjoyed it. We came home and I watched some Big Love since Nick had gotten ahead of me. We had dinner when mom came home early and now I guess I'll go to bed soonish. I picked out a few things I want to bring back up with me, to ship. Oh and I did laundry and there's something weird on one of my sleeves, no clue where it could have come from. 10:24PM

I did pretty much nothing today. I had a bath and didn't wash my hair, yucky. I watched a lot of StormChasers online, what I mean is watching them by GPS. It's really cool I can see all the vehicles in the US going after storms and yesterday there was a crazy line of storms. I also finished season 2 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I talked to Nick too, probably. I rested my eyes. Put in a lot of eye drops and that was my day. 10:20PM

Now it's time to heal. This involves a big process. I have antibiotic eyedrops that last for 4 days. Steroid eye drops that last for 10. I wore goggles the first whole day and now I must sleep in them for 7 days. I have to take a bath for 3 days. No water activities for a month. No driving for a week. No makeup for 2 weeks. I'm stuck on the nasty oil for 3-4 months. But I am done suffering through that, so I will have what I have here and then finish the, practically, new bottle I have up in Vermont, which should bring me at about 3 months. Continue to drink 2 Liters of water a day for 2 -3 months and tears for about 2 - 3 months. And I bet I'm missing out on some other things as well. Today I got up at 8 and had some breakfast. I then took a bath with the assistance of a towel. Did not wash my hair, because I didn't want to take any chances, and it was surprisingly not that greasy! That never happens. So I then sat around and waited to go to my check up appointment at 12:45. We were finally seen and my flap looks perfect and I can see pretty well! I don't know if it's 20/20, but sure must be close. Again, I'm still overwhelmed by it. It just feels like I'm back in permanent contacts. I can't believe it that it's just me on my own. Without a doubt, best thing that's happened to me. Things are sharper at a farther distance. I realized I must had been wearing contacts since 2001 and glasses before that since ... 1997? 96? Around then. I feel like I deserve this now. Mom and I left and went to get my pants hemmed. My eyes are a little bloody in areas. Looks kinda cool lol. Very minimal swelling, perhaps just around my upper eyelids, but not a big deal at all at all. Then we came home and I got on the computer. Finally I could get my email lol. I had a lot to catch up on lol. I relaxed a lot and then later had dinner and watched The Office and some other shows. 11:10PM

Today was the big day, LASIK. I got up for 8, took a shower, put on no deodorant, had no makeup, no moisturizer, no hair spray, no nothing that had any hint of a smell. I was ready pretty quickly lol. I made cinnamon rolls, I had 5 of 8 of them. Then mom and I went to the eye doctor and I took 10mg of Valium and sadly, it was not strong enough to calm me down. I was brought to the back, got told of some things and got my little sanitary hat on. Then I waited, felt calm and collected. Then they brought back to the room. I laid down and they gave me a LSU tiger to squeeze. (I was considering bringing a stuffed animal myself, I'm serious.) They got my right eye ready to be sucked up and set for the Interlase, (no blades, just a laser, very cool) but it was so so so so uncomfortable and alien to me that I started to panic and cry. lol. I was a mess and I could not control myself. I got scared because it was just so weird, and I was going to commit, but my emotions were just out of control. So the cutting of the first eye went fine but I needed a minute before the second eye. I got semi under control, enough, and they cut the other eye, again very strange feeling when they cup it with a ring or whatever. Ok, not a big deal. Ripping the tape off my face hurt the most. I just couldn't get myself under control. Now it's time for the "light show". The real procedure. They tape up my upper eyelid and get ready. Either they turned off the light or it was all black around me, I'm not sure but I saw red and green and tried hard to focus on the light. No pain. I smelled my eyeball though burning. It's interesting. So the dot suddenly grows into a ring and the lights turn on and omg, I can clearly/sharply see the instruments. I can see. Again, I started crying because this time I was just so shocked, amazed, overcome with emotion that I can see. I really didn't think I'd ever be in this position again. Having no contacts or glasses to aide me to see. So again I had to calm down, but I was so thrilled. I was prepared for the second eye, the left and again omg I could see. Just seeing that ring expand and when the lights up come up everything is clear is. At the end of each eye they sponge down the flap and I have to say, it's kind of therapeutic. Well. I was a gigantic pain for them. I didn't move really, I just cried and sniffled, because 1 it was a lot of foreign objects directly on my face and then the astonishment I felt when I could first see totally overwhelmed me. It was over. I went back to the first original room and had my goggles taped onto my face, again ouch the tape hurts the worst when they peal it off. I get some cool sunglasses and we are out the door, again I'm still kinda of speechless and full of tears I can't believe it. I can see. We drove home, I had an omelet and then my eyes began to burn. I could barely keep them open, they were just running with tears or something, I don't know. I put in tears, took my sleeping pill and went to sleep for about 5 hours. I got up around 4, maybe 5. I felt much better. I waited around for dinner and rested my eyes. We ate some jambalaya and at 10 I took another sleeping pill and fell back to sleep for the night. Another profound moment, I was able to see my clock, that's not more than a foot / foot and a half away from me, clearly. 11:01PM

I tried sleeping in today, but little puppy began to bark and woke me up. I showered and had some breakfast and then I watched some Curb Your Enthusiasm. Then mom and I went to the eye doctor so that I could get some tests done on my eyes. It went well and I get to get the LASIK! Which is such a relief because I have had that nasty oil for such a long time. Afterwards, mom and I went to eat at La Madeleine's for some lunch and then we went on to Wal-Mart to get a few things. Then at last we were home. Dinner was made and nothing was on tv so I watched even more Curb. 10:39PM

It was nice to sleep in and catch up on some sleep. I did absolutely nothing today and it was nice. I've worked a lot so this was great. I did go through some paperwork I brought home and other things. I finished reading my magazine and I learned how to make an omelet properly since Nick and I failed at it another time lol. And I had dinner and watched House and other shows. Tomorrow will be a long day though. 10:17PM

I woke up at 4:20 and got ready, no shower. Nick drove me to the airport at 5 and I checked in. We said bye. :( for 20 days. :( And I went through security and waited at the gate. We took off for Atlanta at 7 and landed safely. I went to the next gate and it's always the same one that has practically no seating. Annoying, cause I want to sit down! We finally left around 10:50 and I landed in Baton Rouge at 11:00ish. I got my baggage and then rode home with mom. Oh and we got some yummy doughnuts from Jay's. I haven't had any of those in a while. I showered and unpacked. Then mom and I went to Wal-Mart for a while. We had dinner later and that was pretty much it. I watched Amazing Race and went to sleep early. 10:13PM

We slept in till around 9 or 10. We had some breakfast and cleaned up. Then we decided what to do for the day. Nick and I went out to Best Buy to kill a little time but then we went to the movies to see Star Trek. It was really really good. It was raining but ran over to Quizno's to get some food. We brought it home and discovered his dad was going to make dinner. Ahh! So we hid the food and ate it quickly. It started raining again and he couldn't make the steak so we got pizza instead. Phew! We were hoping for that anyway lol. We had dinner and then watched a lot of Big Love. We got to sleep again around 11 ish. 10:07PM

Time to pack! I got up just after 8 and showered so then I could put my towels in the laundry. But I went down and they were full! So I waited and finally I got in. I had breakfast and watched a little Desperate Housewives and then I began to pack up my room. So sad, last day in the dorm, but I am gladly moving on. It was a hot day too. Nick had an exam and once he was out we did a car load to his house, but I still had a lot of work to do. He dropped me off at the Marche so I could get lunch, I was very hungry. I bought what little items were left to finish up my points at the Marche. I walked back and began to pack again. Nick's dad showed up to help us move things to their house faster. He and Nick did two cars loads home and I stayed there to pack up the rest of my things. They finally got back and I was ready for them. We packed up the two cars again and I turned in my key. On the way home I remembered I left the wood under my mattress. Crap. Oh well! We unloaded the cars and then we had to move some things into the garage that were in Nick's bed. At last we relaxed. We had a few snacks and later went to Roque's for dinner. I ate a nice amount, because I sure was hungry! We came home and watched a little tv, but went to sleep at a decent time. 10:02PM

Today was accounting judgment day. It was tough. And it took the three full hours to take this test. Geez. Beforehand though I found out my grade in 173. I had that exam last Friday and I thought that went horrible too. But apparently he only curved it 3 points, and I got a B in the class! And according to my other grades, that means I also got like a B on the final. I never expected that. Very surprising finals week that's for sure. Once I was out I got unch with Nick but didn't see anythign good so I waited and got a cheeseburger at Alice's. I then relaxed for like a few hours and then started some laundry and then began to pack up my room. I did my kitcheny things and some clothes. Two bins are full, and I have two left. Another big day of accounting studying. I met Nick for lunch at the Atrium and it was yummy, some grilled chicken. I did another 5 chapters for accounting today too. Nick ate without me so I made some macaroni and cheese. I watched Lost and oh I found out my Finance grade. I expected to get an A- or B+, I go a C+. And so did Nick. And so did my other friend Sarah. Very interesting if you ask me. Stephanie found out 80% of us students here either get a D or C in that course. I was still very disappointed though, it was suppose to be a good grade. 11:07PM

I woke up for 6 and got ready and did some last minute studying for Finance. Nick and I went to the test and it was alright. Had some tricky questions, but maybe I pulled through. Again I have some leeway. It was fine though. I walked home and then tried hard to study for Accounting, but I needed a break from all this studying so I was distracted a lot today. I found out I did get an A in my PE class, so a 4.0 so far this semester! haha yes! Nick and I ran some errands to Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and Staples, to get storagey things. We came home and watched House and some other tv shows. Now it's time for bed. 11:08PM

Again, the same type of day as the one before. Got up, had breakfast, and then did finance for even longer today, ugh. In between I did have a sorority meeting to talk about the budget for next year. And once I was done Nick and I had some pizza for dinner. Amazing Race was great tonight and so was the finale to Tough Love, too bad some of those relationships didn't work out. I'm still really stuffed with my nose. And the within the past 3 days, they've mowed the grass twice. And the heaters keep turning on at night. And my right eye has begun to water all day. 11:14PM

I got up again at 8:30 and Nick and I grabbed breakfast at the Marche. Then we came back to the dorms and I studied for finance for a very long time. Around 5 we made dinner, spaghetti, but the sauce tasted weird, very vinegary. We stayed in and watched a lot a lot of tvs, Curb your Enthusiasm and we've been watching Big Love too, not lately though thanks to exams. 11:12PM

I'm getting my days confused. Yesterday, something big also happened. I was contacted to maybe have one of my pictures used in a magazine, that is featuring a vacation spot. So I'm pretty excited about that. I really hope I hear back from this guy, it's the weekend so that's why I feel like I haven't, but we shall see. It's a pretty good magazine, with subscribers, so stay tuned! Anyway, Friday. I slept in till 8:30, showered, and studied more for 173. I got lunch with Nick and then we walked together to our separate exams. Mine is hard. I've been doing well in that class all year, and then this test just came out of nowhere. It was awful. And my friends in there felt the same way, so hopefully he curves that thing. I walked home and applied for another job. Then Nick and I brought a load of his stuff to his house. Then we ate at McDonalds for dinner since the line at Simpson Store was way long. We also went to the banks and then off to see his friend Steve. I wasn't feeling so well since my nose is stopped up. It's not swine flu, but I think allergies. That's the only thing that's bothering me. I just hope it clears up quickly. We came home at a reasonable time and that was it. 11:10PM
