I've been updating and now it appears that I've lost about 15 days worth of updates. I worked on them over a couple of days, and now it's somehow reset. I'm pissed so I don't know when I'll update again.

Went out for lunch and finally got my caesar salad. Later, I at last decided on Chili's for dinner. I left full and with some leftovers again. I came home and watched the finales to The Office and Parks and Rec. I'm starting to stay up a little past my bedtime to do some work around the apartment. 10:39PM

After work tonight I went to Friendly's. There food is dependable, but the service wasn't so wonderful. They took forever forever forever. I had hoped for a quick meal, but that was anything but one. I later came home and tried to catch up on some DVRed tv. 9:38PM

After work I went out to get some fuel. It had been two months since I'd last gotten some. I then went to Hannaford's and picked up a few items. Then I drove over to Junior's and got a pizza for dinner. It was good, but I also brought home a ton of leftovers. I watched some tv and then called it a night. 9:36PM

Well I got up around 10 and eventually went out to get some groceries. I got a few things and came home. It's been raining for a whole day already and it's suppose to keep going all week. Looks like the Lake will go back up and keep flooding everybody. I came home, gamed a little, watched some tv, read a magazine. Not too much excitement, but that's just fine too. 9:45PM

Nick and I were trying to figure out what to do today. We couldn't really come up with anything though. Instead, I did laundry and Nick cleaned out the basement. We figured out the bins we would use to move our stuff in, but it didn't seem like quite enough. So we went to his dad's house and took some there. We left and got a quick bite to eat at McDonalds. I took a nap for an hour and then we drove back over to his dad's house to go out to dinner. We drove to Waterbury and were going to eat at the Alchemist, but it was an hour and a half wait. No thanks. So we went over to some other place and had a good dinner there. We later came home and tried to get some sleep. But we had some issues throughout the night dealing with other people. We didn't get much sleep. 10:42PM

I had a pretty busy/active day at work. Apparently downtown lost their power today and a bunch of businesses on Church Street were complaining. I went to Boloco to get a wrap and they certainly were complaining. I came home and played some of my Lego Clone Wars game. I ended staying up kinda late. Well later than normal. Normally I get too tired and fall asleep early on a Friday night. 11:38PM

Had an interesting day today. As we were out on to lunch, the bench I was sitting on started vibrating. I figured it was something from the road causing it to do that. I came home from work and as we were cooking dinner the windows began to vibrate. So Nick thought it was a slight earthquake. He had me freaked out because I was like nahh that's crazy. But the windows have never done this. It did this on and off for 10 minutes. There wasn't a constant stream of cars going by. No one was upstairs. We looked everywhere to see if we weren't the only ones. There were a few other coincidences, but not much. In the end, nothing was ever announced. 10:33PM

Nick and I went out to dinner tonight for fun. We went to Junior's and had a fancy Italian dinner. We got an appetizer, and then the regular entrees, oh and fancy drinks, and then coffee for dessert! We couldn't eat anymore, but we could fit some coffee in! It was a lovely dinner. We came back home all before it was dark out. By the way it gets dark at 8:30ish now. It's very wonderful having more light. We relaxed for the rest of the night since we were very full. 9:58PM

The shoes are working out nicely, I just hope they hold up for a while, but then again I suppose they don't need to last too long and it'll be time to switch back to something warmer. It's also been sunny these past few days, which gives the lake the opportunity to go down. That's always good, because some places are really getting hit hard. When I got home, we ate chicken and salad. We've had it weekly for a long time. I wonder when we'll get sick of it? It's a light summertime dinner. 9:56PM

Monday Monday. Back to work. I sporting some new shoes that I got over the weekend at Kohl's. Wanted to cheapish decent work shoes. Since I was sick I've been wearing jeans with sneakers. It's fine, but normally I dress it up a bit with some dress pants. During the winter I wore nice boots, but it's too warm for them now. The shoes I wore in the fall and summer last year have become extremely beaten. I tried wearing them one day but it was awful. So I needed new summery shoes. Everyone noticed the change too lol. When I got home, Nick was out helping someone move because they have a broken arm. He was being fed pizza as payment. I was sad so I went out and god Boloco for dinner. It was so yummy. He came back and we watched some Monday shows. 9:54PM

Happy Mother's Day!! We first went to the grocery store in the morning and then we dropped it all off at home. We made plans with Nick's mom to see her downtown for lunch. We met up with her on Church Street and walked back down to the waterfront - she wanted to see the water too. We first ate lunch at Burlington Bay, which was where I got my ice cream yesterday. This time we all got cheeseburgers and they were delicious. It was a little chilly with the wind, but otherwise a nice day. We walked around looking at the water and took a few pictures. When we were done we say goodbye and we came back home. We decided to go to Nick's dad house to pick some things up and drop some things off. We talked with his dad for a little bit, but then left to come home. We made dinner later and watched Sunday night shows. It was a very nice weekend. 10:04PM

We got up and got ready for the day. We drove around doing some errands. I missed out on going into the post office to get a form because they were closed. So now I'll have to wait until Monday. We came back home and then went for a walk downtown. We went to the waterfront again to see the flooding. It's definitely higher than last weekend. As we were leaving, I decided to get some soft serve ice cream on a cone, or a cremee as they say up here. It was very yummy and hit the spot. We came back home and watched some movies for the rest of the day. I also did some laundry. I was surprised to find that it wasn't flooded down there, since our own basement took on some water with all the rain. I made a pizza and that was good too. 11:00PM

After work I came home and Nick and I hung around the house. We eventually decided on what to do for dinner and we began our walk down to KKD. I saw some sorority girls, so I said hello to them. We got to KKD and ordered our sandwiches. We brought them back home and ate them up. I watched a tiny bit of tv, but wasn't really interested in sitting in front of the tv. Eventually I just called it a night when my eyes couldn't stay open any longer. 11:00PM

The rain was finally beginning to let up today. We went out to eat for lunch and I missed out on the caesar salad again. Work was good though. I came home and we made dinner. Since our road isn't paved, it's become pot hole city out there. Some really big ones have opened up and we keep hearing the cars hit them. It sure is something. Still raining, it just doesn't seem to quit. I heard it takes 20 days for the lake to go down a foot in flooding, and it's 3 feet above flood stage, so it's really going to take a while - perhaps all summer because that guess is if it doesn't rain anymore, and well that won't happen. 10:03PM

Raining raining. Not like we need anymore with all the flooding going on around us. I got out of work a little late tonight, but Nick had already cooked some chicken to go on top of our salads. He waited for me, that was very nice of him. 10:02PM

Back to work again. Had a good day. Definitely feeling better, or almost totally normal. Not a 100%, but close to it. I came home and I think it had just started to rain. Nick made dinner and that really about it. 10:01PM

Well we got up and got ready to get our groceries for the week. We picked them up and they were very very busy compared to last week. We came home and unloaded everything. Then we walked over to Rite Aid and I got a card for mom for Mother's Day. Then we stopped at Ben & Jerry's to get some milkshakes as a treat. They were yummy yummy. We came back home and stayed in for the rest of the day. We relaxed, watched movies and before we knew it the day was practically over. We made some dinner and then watched our Sunday shows. Nick and I were going to watch the President's statement, but they kept pushing it back and it kept getting later and we each just fell asleep with the tv on. 9:59PM
