I figured out a method to make the showers warm up faster this morning. I turned a few on and let it sit for a while as I got my things together for the shower. I came in and it wasn't bad. I turned the other off and got in. It completely heated up right at the end though lol. I went to my Bio lab and it wasn't that exciting. I got out very early though, so I went back to my room to wait for Nick to finish his Stat exam. When he finished up, I went over to give him the Bio book and we each did some reading. I had to go to a Stat project group meeting at 11. At first it seemed like no one would show up, but damn they did. We decided on what we're gonna do and went around measuring people's circumference of heads and their left ear. It was awkward, but we got like 30 measurements. Not enough, but a start. I went back to Nick's for a few minutes before my History class. I had History and at the end we got our exams back. I was nervous. I got an 84, a B! I was very satisfied and I think he was pretty generous with the grading, because no way did the essay portion deserve a 62/70. But this is what I've heard about the professor. I got lunch at Alice's and ate in my room. I finished my History reading and went to Astronomy. I don't like what we're covering in there now. After I came back here and worked on BSAD and got dinner at one point. Now I'm waiting for Nick to get back from Costco with his dad and I'll go over for some bonding and tv time. I was tired today because I got to bed at 1 last night. I was watching the riot outside my window. Well, they didn't destroy anything, but they did go screaming chants and stuff all the way to downtown apparently. A good 1000 people I'd say. I got up this morning and got ready. Stat was alright. My group decided to meet tomorrow after my lab, but it's right when I shower before my next class! Apparently, there was just no other time, so now I'm showering at 6 when the water doesn't warm up enough yet. Blah. I went to Bio and it was the last day for that teacher. I didn't care for her at all, but I don't think it's going to get much better sadly. Nick and I ate at the Davis Center and stopped at his room briefly. Then it was time for BSAD and we had a quiz there, we got them all right. Yay. Had regular class after that and then left. I went to Nick's to hang out for 20 minutes before he had to go to work. It was nice, but too short. So I went back to my room and cleaned the fish tank. I did it quickly and expertly today and soon got started on my work. I did all of Bio which included my rough draft of my lab report that took forever, but it's done for tomorrow. I did all of Stat too and began some History. So a full afternoon of work and I got dinner at the Marche. It was this pasta with chicken and basil sauce stuff. Pretty good. And that's pretty much it. I'm tired and am getting to bed as soon as possible since it's an early start tomorrow. 10:39PM

Ok, a lot to catch up on. Nick was on duty Thursday night so in the mean time we puzzled and when we got off, we puzzled more and nearly finished the thing! Finally after like three weeks now. On Friday I got up and got ready. Stat happened first and it was the usual. Not too bad. Oh, I had another rough night trying to sleep since I kept coughing and stuff. I had Bio and hardly anyone showed up. Not surprising, but it was just so empty. Nick and I went to the Atrium for a change for lunch. It was good and we went back to his room to finish the puzzle. We fought over the last piece to put in and he somehow got it in lol. So I took it out and put it back in, lol. Hm, what did we do next? I don't know. Oh!! After he changed and then we came to my room and I changed. Then we went to the gym and we played tennis! lol! Finally we did. But, we didn't have any balls, so we searched the whole area and found 6 lol. So we played for an hour or so and it was fun. I hadn't played in quite some time though. But it was hot in the place so I came back to my dorm to shower. We met up later and I guess just hung out. Some time later, Max came over to Nick's and Jackie picked us up and we drove down to a house we've gone to before. It was fun, but the weather was awful now. It was pouring hard. Nick and I left around 11:30 and came back to the room. I had a headache and just fell asleep in his bed. He wanted to meet up with Colin, but decided to wait by sleeping too. Of course he stayed in bed haha. We got up the next day, Saturday, around 9 but just relaxed until 11, 11:30. We got finally got ready and went to Cook for breakfast before they stopped serving breakfasty things. I went back to my dorm not much after that and showered and stuff. When that was done I went back to Nick's, but it was still rainy out. Yuck. At 3:40, we left his room to go to the bus stand. Got there and waited for the bus. It came and off we were to the UMall. We first stopped at Small Dog to have a look around and check out the iPod Touch. Then to Barnes and Noble to see if we could get this free drink at the Starbucks, but they won't take them in a Barnes and Noble, damn. I ended up getting this cook book. I had a gift card and used that up, but it's awesome. My first cookbook and it's like classic food and it's sooo awesome! I can't wait to start and maybe will try some in our kitchens here. Then we walked across the street to the mall and walked around. Went in to regular stores and got dinner/snack at McDonalds. It was tasty and we continued our walking and looking at stuff. We wanted to get a new puzzle, but we're trying to glue the finished one now, so we'll just wait until that one is taken care of. Colin called and he picked us up from the mall. Luckily it had stopped raining by now. We went back to Nick's and Colin parked his SUV's front tires on the curb, ahahaha. It was hilarious. So we went into Nick's room and played some Guitar Hero. Jackie and Max came over and then did Justin. Colin left and I changed into my costume. The remaining of us went out on the streets. Jackie was a witch with these neon tights, Max was without a costume, Nick was a golfer, I was a cowgirl, and Justin was a "questioning gender Santa Claus." So he had a santa outfit and beard and stuff, but had like Daisy Duke shorts on, ahaha. It was great. We went to Max's friends house where we've gone previously and hung out there. This girl was trying to fix a ping pong ball and it caught on fire and it fell onto a chair that caught a little on fire. But we put it out with air and water. But that was crazy. It wasn't that bad, but still. Could have been worse. Nick, Justin, and myself left around 1 I guess to go to some other party Justin knew of. It was interesting to see all these costumed people out there, but it was in the 40s. We finally found the place but Nick and I didn't want to stay. We left and ordered a pizza, it arrived as soon as we got back to his dorm. We ate it and watched some boring tv and then went to sleep after 2, maybe 3. Got up this morning around 11 and I left. I had cereal and showered. I did some of my lab report, a rough draft I can turn into my TA. After I went to Nick's and we walked downtown. We walked around and were hungry so we decided to eat at this Italian place called Bove's, but it wasn't open today. So we went to Ken's Pub, and our waitress messed up and gave us somebody else's appetizer when we thought it was just a thing they do. Apparently not. But it was a good dinner and he paid! It was really awesome! Then we went to Brooks, or now, Rite Aid and it looked completely different in there. We browsed for forever and I finally got a few things. We went to Starbucks and got the free drink and walked back up. It was a nice afternoon. We watched The Two Towers and then the World Series. The Red Sox won and now the campus under a big watch because lots of damage happened last time they won. Right now people are outside screaming, but lots of cops are patrolling. Ok, now I'm going to bed. 11:59PM

Had a hard time sleeping last night because whenever I would lay down, I'd start coughing. Which is difficult because you lay down to sleep. But I was somehow not very tired today! For once! I did my laundry and got dressed to start off. I went to History and it was alright. I was coming back to my dorm, sometimes Nick and I cross paths but after I reach a certain point, I know I won't see him. But all of a sudden he passes me and doesn't notice lol, so I catch up to him and that was a nice minute to see each other. I continued on my way back in order to get lunch, but the fire alarm was going off inside the place so I missed out on lunch today. I had Astronomy and that was typical. I stopped by Nick's and did a little puzzle and we went to dinner. The moon looked huge as it was heading up into the sky! I came back just now and I'll continue with the BSAD things I've been working on all day. I'll head back over to Nick's and either do the puzzle or more BSAD. Big tv tonight and Miriam is taking over mine (ugh!!) for the World Series. 7:28PM

It was raining still last night by the time I had left for Nick's. I wasn't soaked like from last Friday night. We watched Heroes and then House and some other tv and worked more on the puzzle. It was nice. This morning I did the usual and went to Stat. After a long class of anxious waiting to receive our exams back, we got them. I got a 212 out of 250, and the cut off point for an A is at 195. So I am awesome! I'm very happy about this. I went to Bio and sat through another round of powerpoints and note taking. I went to the Davis Center for a fruity smoothie to get some vitamins in me and then met Nick at his room. We puzzled a bit before BSAD and when it was time, went to class. It was a usual class there. I came back to my room and began my History reading. I read for an hour and then wanted a nap. It was suppose to be only 30 minutes, but I ended up making it an hour. I feel much better and continued with my reading. I got dinner at 5 and finally finished just now. I'm heading over to Nick's again to watch Kid Nation and some of the World Series. It's going to be crazy tonight since it's a big Red Sox territory up here. I'm indifferent about that. lol. 7:36PM

I didn't sleep much better last night either. It just took me a while to fall asleep and then I kept waking up. Not cool. And I had my Lab this morning at 8. It was a pretty good lab, that was easy and didn't take the entire time. I set up two pots so that we can grow some plants. Hopefully they'll grow right lol. After Lab I had came back and showered. I went to History and it was just terrible weather outside. It's windy and rainy. Awful. I was very wet upon arriving to class. And some girl was in my seat, grr. Oh before hand I was trying to figure out what classes I want to take next semester. Sadly I don't have much to do, besides electives and I don't want to burning up credits that way. Because I can't take core business classes until my Junior year, so right now I only have 4 classes decided, I'd like to have a few more just in case some don't work out. After History I came back for a hot dog from Alice's. I called home and then studied for Astronomy some more. I went to Astronomy, again getting soaking wet and had class. I drank too much today so I was dying to get out of there and we had a quiz at the very end so I just wanted it to come. I took it and ran out. Close one. It was even nastier outside and some parts of the sidewalk were really flooded. I came back and changed out of the wet pants and socks and got to some homework. I've finished all of my Stat now and just have some History and BSAD I can get to another tomorrow. I had dinner and now I'm waiting to hear from Nick that it's safe to come over. It was hard to sleep last night. I just couldn't breathe through my nose. I hate being sick. I got up this morning and showered and stuff, the usual. I had Stat and it sucked. We picked groups for the group project, but I'm with this girl who doesn't live on campus and has to be driven to campus. And another girl who is from France and doesn't really understand what's going on. Great. I'm totally screwed and this is why I hate group projects. Next was Bio and that was ok. I had a smoothie at Ben and Jerry's for lunch and we went to Nick's room briefly before going to BSAD. He has this "community bike" that he found abandoned and he just drops it on the ground or props it up on the kickstand, without locking it lol. He also has this short long board now and he was trying to show my skateboard tricks on it. Not an easy task and it was hilarious! He nearly fell though a few times, but still funny. As we was going to work, he came with me to the convenience store thing there and I got some cereal, a frappuccino, and some medicine. I went back to my room and began my homework. Or no, that's not true. I cleaned the fish tank and then did some homework. I went to Astronomy help session for my homework and then saw Nick for a bit as he finished up the Bio reading and I wrote a nicer version of my Astronomy homework. I left when he finished and got some dinner. I wanted New World Tortillia, but it had a huge! line. So I just got some food at the Marche. I ate in my room and continued with the homework. I did Bio and did some Stat. I've got to study for Astronomy for a bit and then I'm going to bed. 10:27PM

First off: I'm sick. Again, for the second time! It's the worst part about living in a dorm/on campus. So after Nick got back from dinner I walked over. It was pouring down rain. It was so awful out! I got completely soaked and no wonder no one else was outside. I put my things in the dryer and we hung out and did some puzzling. It's looking really good! I was feeling really tired so he went downtown for a bit and I went to sleep after more puzzling. He came back an hour or so later. I got up at 9 yesterday and finally got going around 11. I got some breakfast while passing the Marche and then got ready. I watched some tv in the meantime and did some homework as well. Nick picked me up close to 2 and we drove to his house. I met his grandparents, it was lovely. We went to the apple orchard and got some cider, very good, and doughnuts and I picked my first apple! I ate it today lol. We went back to the house and had dinner: Good Times, a pizza place. Nick's favorite place and I liked it. Then they took a few family pictures and then I went with Nick and his dad to Costco. I got a 24 pack of Pepsi and was falling asleep in the car lol. He drove us to his dorm and we dropped off the things. Then he drove us to the UMall. Nick and I went into the VT Toy and Hobby to get a cheap puzzle and some glue. We want to glue the 2000 piece masterpiece we have going on already. So we're going to test it out on some cheap one. So I got this 30 piece golden retriever puppy one lol. It's cute. We walked back up the hill but we were late leaving since he wanted to try out the Guitar Hero 3 game. He's suppose to be on duty too! We rushed up as fast as possible and he was only like 5-10 minutes late, but not too bad. I did some puzzle and decided to open my Pepsi box. I used his knife and accidently stabbed a can! So now it's going everywhere. I try to drink it up and clean it up. I made such a mess, but it's not sticky and that's what counts lol. I got really tired around 10 and had a headache so I just went to sleep. He came in when he was off duty and we watched some tv for a little bit. Again, nothing much was happening because people were out of town for Pumpkin Fest, in New Hampshire. Today I woke up around 11 and came back to my dorm. I showered and had breakfast. I read History stuff and made my Astronomy study guide for my quiz on Tuesday. So it was 6 now and I confronted the roomie about our living situation. It's pretty dirty on her side. I didn't exactly get a good response, so oh well. I'd try again later. I went to Brennan's and picked up dinner for myself and went to Nick's. I ate and we watched the Fellowship of the Ring. Oh yeah! LOTR. Oh brings back memories. I left sometime after and came back here. I walk into the room and it looks totally unrecognizable. She cleaned it up a lot a lot! I was impressed and it looks really good now. I hope it stays for a while. So yes, I'm sick and my mom was just commenting on me not being sick again. Ugh. Time for bed! 11:23PM

It's so nice to not be studying a ton anymore. So I finally got more sleep then I have these past 4 nights or so. It was wonderful. I got ready and had Stat. It wasn't a very full class. And then Bio wasn't either. It must be a Friday. We ate at the Atrium and went to Nick's room. I worked on the puzzle since I hadn't this entire week. I missed it. He had an interview for a job so I left to go back to my room for a while. I got my things together and when it was time I met back up with him and we went downtown. It was hot today. Like 76 outside. Well, when it's been in the 50s during the day and 30s at night. We stopped at the banks and at City Market. I stocked up on yogurts and then it was time to go to Perrywinkle's. I got my ring cleaned since I can get it done 3 times a year thanks to Nick's insurance-y coverage thing, or whatever paid for. Free, so why not! Then we went back up the hill and worked on the puzzle some more. I made great progress on it. Then he was to have dinner with his dad and grandparents so as he left, I did too. I got a slice of pizza at the Marche and went to my room. I ate and showered because I was so nasty from earlier. I watched Heroes and now I'm waiting for Nick to get back. He said they were leaving soon, so that's nice. Then I'll go over. It's raining so much might not be going on, or I don't feel like trudging through the rain tonight. Got the essay finished last night and my stomach was killing me. It was like I had eaten too many fried foods again. But I definitely hadn't yesterday, but then again, I wasn't eating healthy. I fixed that today though. So I got to bed around 1 and woke up at 7. I showered and dressed and did my laundry as usual, but this time super early. I then studied for the full remaining 3 hours for History. At last it was time to take the test. Ahh! I was a little nervous, but I was so done with this class I wanted it to be over with immediately. So we sit down and begin. I know the 6 ID terms (he gave us 45 to learn) and mentioned like 95% of what I had come up with on the study guide. Then time for the essay, he gave us 5 with a possible one. Anndd... it was the one I didn't know very well. How to answer it I mean. But I wrote it out as best as I could, so we'll see what will happen with it. I'm happy I said what I needed to say anyway. I ran in to Colin and Alec on the way back, and declined their offer to go to lunch because I had my eye on a pesto chicken ciabatta sandwich at the Marche this entire week lol. I got it and went to my room to eat. I called mom when I had finished and we talked for a long time. Not much after I went to Astronomy. I always get real tired in that class and we were talking about relativity, blah. I came back to my room and did some Astronomy homework. Now I'm thinking about what to do for dinner. I might wait and just get New World Tortillia and time it so I get it and head right over to Nick's. I haven't seen him much because of all my studying and now that I'm done, I'm spending lots of time with him tonight. But the longer I wait on the food, the longer the line will get at New World. 5:46PM

So I got to sleep just before 1 last night. I was so wiped from working on that stuff. I just couldn't do anymore, and in good time. I woke up today at 8 and felt pretty good too. I went to Stat and we went over some things because that final was later in the night. Bio was as usual. Starting new stuff, so far so good. We had lunch at the Davis Center, as usual. It's a nice routine lol. Oh but they didn't have anything I wanted, ah well. Had BSAD and that was good. I started not feeling so well in that class though. No idea why, but it passed near the end of it. I stayed with Nick for maybe 20 minutes before he had to go to work. So I came back and began more History studying. I finished the terms and started the essays. I made myself some dinner without burning a finger off. Yay! I walked across campus for my Stat exam at 7. I expected to finish quickly, but that was not the case. It was easy and I knew like 95% of it, but it was open notes and book so of course I was checking up on it. And that made it take very long. So I finished at 8:45 and was like the 5th person done out of 120 or so. Yeah. I stopped by Nick's since his dorm was on the way back. Stayed there for 30 minutes and he walked back with me in order to get something from my room. I got back to work on my essays and now I have one more left. I'm not feeling as stressed as I was last night. Very little had been done and now I'm almost done. Now I just need to review it a few times and hopefully it'll all pull together. Didn't get too much sleep last night. I had the early Bio lab this morning. I spilled some crucial pigments, but we were okay lol. I came back to shower and eat breakfast. I did some work and then went to History. We reviewed in there, but I don't know how much it helped me. I got lunch at the Marche and worked some more in my room. I began to study for my Stat exam. It was time for Astronomy so I walked on over to it. We got a quiz back in there, I got an A, yay. And a 100% on the homework. Yeah. After I went to go see Nick for 45 minutes because I wouldn't be able to come over like I normally do. We read some Colbert and looked at things online. I stopped to get dinner at the Marche, aka studying foods: pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks. Only the best thing for me lol. I finished up my studying for Stat. Basically I wrote out all the important details on a piece of paper so I can refer back to it during the exam. It's open notes and book. I feel good about this one. I've taken in high school and I'm doing really well in class and the stuff is still fresh. Then it became time for History. Oh History. I am deathly scared of your midterm test on Thursday. I've been working on it for quite some time, but I'm worried I won't be prepared enough or finish in time. I've got 37 more hours to go. If I could, I wouldn't sleep. But that's not possible for me lol. 11:03PM

So Nick and I had a lovely day yesterday. It was just really nice. I woke up and got ready. I walked over to Nick's for 10:30. We walked a mile over to Winooski and got breakfast at Sneaker's. It wasn't a bad walk at all really. We waited to be seated and ate. It was so good! Afterwards we walked back up the hill. Again, surprisingly not that bad of a walk. We made it back to the room and worked on the puzzle a little more. Oh, I gave him a gift, Stephen Colbert's new book. He loves it! We walked down to the movie theater to see Across the Universe. Hm. I guess it was ok. Not good and not bad. We hadn't been to the movies for maybe more than 6 months. We walked back up and did more puzzle and more reading. We studied Bio too. Watched some Reno 911 and ordered a pizza for dinner. That was tasty. We did more tv watching and stuff. It was just a really nice day. After all that walked we passed out just after 10 lol. So I got up today and got ready for classes. Stat was first. Not an exciting class today, but that's alright. Bio was next. Our exam. I really did know it very well and the practice test she put up was a hundred times easier then what I took today. It wasn't even fair. I despise that class and I don't know how the exam went. Because I knew the material, but this was nothing like we covered and I felt like multiple choices were correct. Ugh. So we'll see what happens. I got lunch at the Davis Center and we ate in his room. Next was BSAD. As it turns out, he decided to give us 10 more percentage points to our exam. Which means I got an 86. Yeahh. I am very happy! After class I came back here and did homework and prepared for more exams. I stopped by Nick's one more time to drop off a gift that came late in the mail. He loved it again! :D I did more homework and got dinner at the Marche. It was very tasty. Now I'm playing Scrabble online with Alison and soon I'll be going to bed. 11:08PM


October 13, 2007
Starting with the 11th, a Thursday. I got up for 8:30 and did my laundry. Miriam slept through her class again and I missed my prized alone time in the morning. I was not happy at all about that. So I got ready and did some work and at 11 I went to a Biology SI session. It helped a lot with what we've been covering and I got some worksheets to do. I then left a little early and headed over for History. As it turns out, I get to miss my review sessions for that class because I'll be in my Stat exam. I can't believe it. We watched a documentary and got our study guide. I went to Alice's for some lunch, but they didn't have what I wanted. I settled for something at the Marche. Ate in my room and when it was time, I went to Astronomy. The exciting moment in that class today was when a FedEx man came into our class and tried to get the professor to sign for a pack of RedBulls. Hmm. Weird. The person to sign wasn't in the class, so he was told to go somewhere else. The guy came back 30 minutes later and the professor signed for it, haha. I went back to my room and worked on my History study guide for a while. I went over to see Nick for a while before he had some RA stuff. I walked back to my room while he did his thing and when it was time, walked back over so we could do some tv time. TV was good and at one point walked to Redstone to see some people. It was getting really loud in the room and rounds were coming up, so I wanted to leave. We did and went back to the room and watched some more tv before going to bed. Friday, the 12th. So I got up and got ready. Stat was pretty fine. I'm doing well in that class and the exam will be open book and notes, so that's nice. Bio was next and we got out early. Got some lunch at the Davis Center and went back to Nick's room. We played Guitar Hero and I went back to my room to get some more food. Came back in order to watch the lasted episode of Grey's Anatomy. Then we went downtown for I don't know the reason why we did. But we ate our dinner and we bought a 2000 piece puzzle to work on, haha. That's right. We like them, and it'll give us something fun to do. Ahaha. And it's being place on Nick's floor. It's a little over 3 feet by 2 feet. We came back up and began on the puzzle. I went to my room again. There are these bunnies outside in this courtyard area every night. They are so cute and I want to pet them, but will not let me. There's two, and I want to name them. Went back to Nick's and Max came over. We rode around with him for a while and just ended up at L/L. Got his girlfriend and some of her friends and walked down to this house. It was fun, but around 12:30 I guess, we jumped a fence and went to another house. Haha really. And I was falling asleep in my chair as Nick and two other people were arguing about Russia. It was weird. We eventually left around 2 I guess and walked back up. And it was time for bed. Finally today the 13th! I had some breakfast around 1, lol. I showered and had talked to my mom too. I finally got started on studying Bio, but I feel much much better about it now. I used those worksheets I got recently and that's what really helped me out. Around 5:30 I went to see Nick briefly and we got dinner and worked more on the puzzle. The border is finally complete! What great satisfaction that brought us lol. I came back and continued my studying for a few more hours. Well, he's on duty so it was just me sitting here, but the roommate is back now. I think the rooms a little hot because I turned on our heater, I heard it fill up with water, very strange. So I would go back to do more puzzle but I'm tired of all this walking and my leg muscles hurt a lot. So I'll just finish my paint by numbers. Tomorrow it's me and Nick's year anniversary. Wow wow wow. So we've got some fun tomorrow. And probably with some puzzles, lol, and more. 9:30PM

Had a bad dream last night that I was running out of money in my checking account. It was very scary. So I got up, showered and had Stat. See, this year I like Stat. I think it's the teacher, he's just so unique and then I know what I'm doing this time certainly makes up for a lot of it. I then had Bio. I feel the opposite for Bio. And we have such a huge! book, and I can see in the later chapters, we just aren't getting to the stuff I like. I'm doing really well in labs, and wish they were more connected with the class. Oh well, half way through. I got my sandwich at the Davis Center and we ate in his room. We went to BSAD and got our exams back. I got a 76, but compared to others, I did really well. And I beat Nick, which is equally as important lol. There was one A, and it was a 96, who really messed up the curve. And so 11 Bs. 9 Cs. and then 14 Ds and 14 Fs. Crazy! The lowest was a 36!! Some guy commented that he wanted the grades doubled, haha. We got out of class a little early so then I went to stay with Nick before he had to go to work. He eventually did and I did some BSAD homework, and that's all I had so I decided to do some more painting by numbers. The artwork looks really good and I've got 2 numbers left. Very exciting! I ordered a pizza for dinner and went to see Nick for Kid Nation and more tv and Guitar Hero. So I'm back now and going to go to bed pretty soon. 11:17PM

I woke up early for my Bio Lab. My group was the 3rd to finish, oo yeah. I hate it when we're last. I went to Alice's for some breakfast and went back to my room. I showered and waited for the next class to start. I watched Grey's Anatomy, pretty good. I had History and I'm a little worried about the exam because it's going to cover so much information, but I've heard good things about his exams, so we'll see when the time comes. I stopped by the Astronomy help session to verify my homework answers. Walked back to the room and studied for the Astronomy quiz and soon walked back to take that quiz, in class. I stopped by Nick's afterwards to drop off some books. He got my some fruity snacks that I love from Costco so I brought those back to my dorm. The burnt finger looks all healed, now I'm just waiting for this nasty rugburn to clear up lol. I got that like Saturday or so. It's going to be a nasty rainy night tonight and I'm not looking forward to that, because I've still got to get dinner and go see Nick. Well, at least I'll be prepared with my rain coat, which is working very well. Now that I can use it, especially. And I have no homework tonight since I did it all yesterday! Yay. 5:40PM

Oh I did not want to wake up this morning. It was a cloudy day and so it was pretty dark this morning. Of course I comment on the fact that we haven't had much rain this year, but now in the forecast is the typical misty rain that I had last year. That sucks. I went to Stat in the nasty weather, but it was a fine class. Bio was average. Nick and I went to the Davis Center and I got a sandwich to go since Nick wanted to eat something he had in his room. Then it was off to BSAD for our exam. I think it went pretty well, up until the end at least. It just got hard, so we'll how it'll turn out. I went back to my dorm and cleaned out the fish tank. It looks so much nicer and clearer. It wasn't that dirty, but going from that to fresh. It looks nice. But I think he sees his reflection in the bubbles? Or the part where it's coming out of the filter, because he rams in to it every so often. I've tried block the area, but he still gets to it now. That can't be good. I did a lot of homework today, Bio, Stat, Astron, and working on some BSAD now. I went with Alison for dinner and watched Heroes when that came on. I've been watching the Yankee game on my computer, or the stat page of it, which is really neat feature and seems to always be updated every time I use it. I don't plan staying up too much later, but I'd like to get more BSAD done. And the burn on my finger is better. There's a tiny mark, but I'm glad it doesn't feel like it did last night. 10:13PM

Let me see. Okay, so, yesterday, I got up and got dressed around 10ish. I went out to the Marche to get some breakfast, but I didn't see what I wanted so I just some biscuit, egg, and cheese sandwich thing. Not very good, so I had some of my own breakfast. I did some homework and was waiting for Nick to wake up. He got up and I went over around 1 something. It was absolutely ugly outside. It was raining and soo nasty. It's the most rain I've seen all year! And it's parents/Homecoming Weekend, so that sucks for the people that have parents here. ...Unlike myself. But that's ok. So I met up with Nick, a little wet. We were going to go downtown, but as soon as we stepped out, it was pouring. Unlike Vermont too. And it was soo nice last year for this weekend. We went back inside and waited for it to stop raining. But we were hungry so we went to the Davis Center for some lunch. But get this, it's open for Parents Weekend so they come in and see all this great stuff. When reality is, it's never open on the weekend and we have hardly anything to choose from. Not fair. Anyway, so we ate and waited for the bus to go downtown. Thirty minutes or more later, the bus still hasn't shown up when it should have. So we give up and go to my room. I get in to my raincoat and grab the umbrella. We walk downtown and get my film. Grab a different bus and ride back up. We relaxed in Nick's room for a while. I got some snacks and we watched 3 episodes or Reno 911. When it was time we went to my room. I changed into shorts, even though it was pretty cold outside. We were going to go to a concert, Guster. We walked in and checked out the booths they had set up. Got some free samples of things and waited for the show to start. The opening act came on. It was Bret Dennan? I don't know. He was alright. Soon it was time for Guster and so we squeezed as far up as possible. It was fun, but I've seen better acts. Ah well. We got out and it was freezing! And it was a little rainy. I changed back in to pants at my room and I gathered up some things and Nick and I went back to his room. We ended up just hanging out and chatting and watching the latest Fantastic Four movie. It was alright too, the movie. We went to sleep and I left some time this morning. After noon. I showered, definitely needed it after the concert. It was so hot in the gym. I had breakfast and did more homework. I studied for my Business test and had lunch. I was making my fettucini alfredo dish I always make. It gets so hot that it sometimes melts my plastic spoon after placing it in it. So, I was pulling it out of the microwave and I somehow tipped the bowl, cause it to splash on to my fingers. Oh my gosh, did it hurt. I put it under water, but it felt like it was burning for many hours after that. It was so painful. Currently, the skin is a different color and is a little raised, which is typical and there really isn't anything I can do. I went to see Nick at one point in the evening and he game me some ice. That made it stop hurting, but it looks a little funny. So I'm going to do a little bit more reading only. There's only 6 pages left, and then I'll go to bed. 11:04PM

This weekend is Homecoming Weekend, where all the youngin's parents come to visit. For the 2nd year in a row, I am alone :( Oh it's so sad. I cry. Well, it's not so bad. Nah, it's not so bad, but a nice treat to get a free meal lol. Oh, so we ended up going to Nick's friend's Max, and Max's friends house for a few hours. It was fun and then we stopped at KKD for a sandwich. I ate off of Nick's. We went to sleep and I came back to get ready for classes. Stat was good. I really like the professor, he can be pretty random at times. He was teaching and then broke off and showed us a picture of his daughter at the previous Star Trek convention, dressed up and everything. lol, it was really funny. And then he got back at it. Then it was time for Bio, and sadly nothing exciting like that happens in that class. After we dropped Nick's things off at his room. After a while we went to the Marche for some lunch. Then I dropped off my things. We walked back to his room and he changed shoes. Soon we went downtown to look at more long boards. Got some good info and went to Ben and Jerry's because I wanted some. We took the bus back up. I went back to my dorm because I was really tired. I took a nap and slept real hard. When I was waking up I was so confused. I thought it was already another day. Alison and I went downtown to City Market and we got a bunch of groceries. Which is really good, because I needed to badly. We came back and barely made it up the stairs, we had soo much stuff. Or at least I did. I wanted to get a small pumpkin so I could decorate for Halloween, but she talked me out of it. Which is probably good because I didn't need to spend that much, but I still kinda want it lol. We went to dinner and there was some gala going on at the Davis Center. All these adults were dressed up in black and tuxedos and stuff. There was a red carpet and when we walked on it to get to the eating spot, they didn't say hi to us and looked down on us. Bitches. So we made sure to walk the same way back lol. I was alone so I watched the movie Superbad. It was really good, and very funny. I walked over to Nick's dorm and dropped off some food since he's on RA duty. I came back and finished my movie. Now I'm waiting for Alison to finish her tv watching and I'll go see her for a while. And then I don't know what. I'm kinda impartial for doing something tonight. It'd be fun, but I'm still tired and have a twinge of a headache. 9:53PM

Woke up at 9 for some laundry time. I forgot my towels to I had to make another trip, and I live on the 3rd floor and the laundry room is in the basement. I was not pleased. I showered and went to move my stuff over and some girl was moving my stuff out, literally like 30 seconds after it had finished. She's like, oh is that yours? I'm like yeah bitch I'll take it from here. I didn't say bitch, but you get the point. lol. I wasn't happy. Even though I do that sometimes. But I wait a few minutes. So I did the dryer and continued to get ready. Nick came over after his first class and did some Stat homework and I got my laundry. We got lunch and waited in his room for classes to start. I went to History and that was good. I came back to the room and went with Meghan and Alison to Starbucks. Tasty tasty. We stopped at Staples and then we were back at the dorms. I got ready and when it was time, went to Astronomy. Another long class for that one, but we got out like 5 minutes early. Came back to the room again and worked on my astronomy study guide for the quiz on Tuesday. At 6:30, Alison and I went to dinner and I ate back in the room. I continued on my study guide with the tv on the baseball game. I've repainted my toe nails and now I'm going to get ready to see Nick. We'll be watching Survivor, The Office (which I thought only the premiere was going to be an hour, but this episode is too! I'm not complaining), and probably It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Ok yesterday first. I got up super early for my Bio lab. It was a pretty fun lab today and me and my partner had the best chromatography paper around. Yeah. Certainly did. Everybody had groups of three's and we did it with only two. lol. But we still somehow managed to be the 2nd to last done lol. Oh well. I came back and hopped into the shower. I got ready and went to History. Pretty good class there. We always take soo much notes. I came back and Miriam was watching tv and I was trying to read. Normally, it's not so bad, but this voice on the tv was so annoying. Thankfully it was time for Astronomy. Not a very thrilling class, but it went by kinda quickly. I got some candy afterwards and stopped by Nick's. I dropped off the book and left to do a little more homework. The tv was still on. Arg, but oh well. I did some more homework until 6 and left to meet Nick at the Davis Center for dinner. What's weird, is that they covered up the name on the building, and will unveil it for Homecoming Weekend, yeah, that's stupid. Dinner was good and we went back to his dorm. But he's borrowed Max's long board so we ended up playing on that for a good 30 minutes. I'm not very good, but I haven't fallen lol. That's a good sign. Then I sat in on the central campus CAB meeting. We went around introducing ourselves, saying where we live on central (I lived there last year, but certainly not this year), so I was scared when it got to me. I said I'm Marielle, I lived here last year and I missed out on CAB, so I'm here tonight to catch up on it. Haha, well they let me stay. At the end we were rewarded with ice cream. Mmm. Then Nick and I watched House and were careful not to break any toenails off one another or on ourselves. It was only a week ago that Nick lost his. haha yuck. This morning I came back to my dorm and got ready for classes. Had Stat and we didn't really cover anything new, so I wrote out a schedule for myself. For today, and the next, and the next. In super small print too lol. I then went to Bio and I'm just not a fan of it. It's not what I had hoped Bio would be. But I'll still see it through, because I can't drop it, and I need a lab science. I just wish we covered different topics. There's so much book material and not enough time. Nick and I got lunch at the Davis Center and I got a nasty sandwich. Oh well. I just can't find food there. It sucks. Unless I want pizza all the time. Nope. We went to BSAD and that was good. After I said bye to Nick and went to wait for the office hours of my TA in Bio. I needed to ask her a question for the lab report. So I waited and ended up figuring my question out, but I'd still stop by to verify. I was very scared though, because she was in the medical building, aka, I have no business being there and people look and treat you that way. Very scary, but I found the room and found her. Got my problem worked out and we talked, it all went down in 10 minutes. Then I had to get out of there, scary again, but I made it and was free. I walked back to the dorm and got to work on Bio. I pumped out the data information, the results and discussion page in a few hours. Yay. Fastest I've ever finished! Then I set to work on my BSAD homework that I have to get done by next Monday. I ordered a pizza and Nick came over. We looked at the BSAD stuff and watched tv. Like, Kid Nation. He left afterwards and I just kinda hung around. I finally watched Grey's Anatomy. I don't know why people are giving it a hard time, I enjoyed it. It made me tear up as per usual. Now here I am. I'm going to listen to some music until 11 and then hit the sack. 10:46PM

And now it's October. Crazy stuff! This year is already going by so quickly. October means midterms though, ahh. But none yet. Let me see. So I never did anything with the tank last night, but I decided I would get some supplies today after class. So I went to Stat and helped out the "cool kids" who sit next to me, on some problems. They are usually pretty entertaining too. Then it was Bio and this class was actually pretty good. I liked what we were talking about, the changing of the leaves, biologically, chemically, all that. Which is something I've never been taught since I've never had that season before lol. Nick and I ate at the Davis Center. I got a nasty meal and he got a nasty drink. It was just not our day. We stopped at his room for a second and then on to BSAD. I totally called what would happen in that class because it is that predictable, but it was a good class. We had a quiz and I got them all right. Well, our group did. After I went my way back to my dorm. I dropped my things off and walked down to Petco. It's just a 5 minute walk away. That's pretty good! Closer than downtown. I bought a net to catch the fish in and thermometer to measure the water temp. It sticks to the outside and it's pretty neat. I walked back up and decided to clean the water. I somehow got the fish into it's original bowl and then dumped out the water in an unused shower. I decided it's unused because I know I wouldn't want to use that shower when we have 4 very new and updated ones. So I must be right, or for the majority of us lol. But I cleaned up after myself, but not like I was messy anyway. I poured in new water, put a tab in it to make it safe and put the fishy back in. I've got the temperature at a correct degree now and he seems pretty happy. I then did homework for the rest of the night. Did all of my Bio and Stat, and now I'm finishing up some History reading. I've got 4 pages left after I finish here. I also watched Heroes which was so amazing. Wow, a really good show that continues to keep me on edge. I also had dinner with Meghan and that was nice, but once again I couldn't find anything decent to eat the Marche. I'm really disappointed with the food this year. It's an ongoing battle to find something good to eat that I'll like. 10:44PM
