Happy birthday to my dad first of all! So, I got about 8 and a half hours of sleep last night. Not too bad, but I wanted to wake up kinda early in order to get ready and get breakfast. So I did just that and as soon as I was finished I went with Alison to the library to do some work. I finished my BSAD homework and continued with my History reading. When she was done, I split and went to Nick's room. I checked out his new bulletin board and then we watched a couple of episodes. Then when it was after 3 we went to Brennan's for a late lunch and early dinner lol. It was pretty good, but I like the burger more. Colin was there so he sat down and ate with us too. We left and went back to the room. Nick wants a long board now, so we went downtown to look for some, but didn't have very good luck. We walked around and it was nice, but we walked back up. Then we watched more tv, LA Ink and I left around 8. I got back and Miriam and I went to the Marche for a nice snack. Came back and Meghan came over to watch Desperate Housewives. That was good and now I'm worried about my fish. The tank is cloudy. Already. So since I'm the worried parent, I'm thinking about changing some of the water. 10:30PM

My new fish: video. As you can see with the previous link, I have a new fish. So let me start up on what happened yesterday. I got up and got ready. I went to Stat class and we heard the some nearby buildings, five of them actually, had a gas leak and were closed off, but were reopened by the end of the hour. I was just worried about my business building lol, I love that building! Maybe, I'm bias lol. So then I had Bio and that class seemed to go by faster than usual, which was wonderful. We got lunch at Cook as every Friday we seem to do so. Then what. Oh, we played Guitar Hero for a while and then went to my dorm. I dropped off my things and got my purse. Then we walked down to Petco a few minutes up the road. Nick bought me a fish for my birthday. :D I took care of a plant last year and now I'm upgrading to a fish! A classic Betta Fish actually. His name is Michael Scott, or just fishy lol. It's magenta and blue ish. Pretty. And we got a tank, and rocks, and plants, and food and all that good stuff! We walked back to my dorm and set up the tank! It's great! Now he's all settled in and looking good if I do say so myself. We left after a while and went back to his dorm. On the way, we got some snacks at the Marche and got to his room. I can't remember what we did. I guess we stopped there briefly and then went downtown. It began to rain on us, but oh well. We went in to Urban Outfitters and I bought myself another Lomography camera, this time with a fish eye lens. So! That'll be with my birthday money that my aunt gave me. Thanks! I'm pretty excited. We ran in to Meghan who was with her sister and her sister's friend. Then Nick and I went to the mall down there and just walked around and stuff. Then we came back up and hung out in his dorm. Played more Guitar Hero, I'm pretty good, yeah, on Medium that is lol. While he goes to Expert. Around 10 we came back to my dorm and I fed my baby. He didn't really go after it, but that's alright. He'll get it. We went to meet up with Colin next and stayed at that location for a few hours. Nick dropped me off at my dorm around 1 and I went to sleep. I woke up today around 10:30 and watched fishy swimming around it's tank for a good 30 minutes lol. Then I got ready and tried to get the day going. I was very lazy. I got some fresh half and half at the Marche for my tea. Close to 3 I went over to see Nick. We tried to watch a movie, but the quality wasn't very good. We took a nap and when we woke up it was 15 minutes until closing for the dining places. So we missed dinner. Great. I went back to my dorm to eat and I made some fettucini alfredo. Good stuff! I watched a little tv and talked to people online. Then I got to cleaning the room up a little bit. At least on my side. I had to make room for the tank, so I'm trying to find a new place for the stuff that was in it's place. Not much, but I don't like where it is. I took out the trash and put other things away. I visited Alison a few times, but around 11 her and Meghan came over to give me a birthday present. They were actually going to get me the camera I bought, but instead went with a photo album so I can put the new pictures inside there. But I still need some film, oh well. It was very nice and it made my night. I'll probably go to bed kinda soon, but I feel like cleaning and organizing some more. 11:38PM

It was super hot last night and it's just been soo unbearable in our room. I keep trying to air it out with the door open to circulate the thing. But the roomie usually wants to close it, so when I come back from class it's hotter inside then out. And fans are doing the job either. And poor Nick is even worse over there. It just won't get any better in his either. It's disgusting. Thank goodness this bit of warm weather is done now. Well, we might get some more next week, but thankfully not this hot. It's been awful. So I did my laundry this morning, and pulling things out of the dryer made it worse. We have no air conditioning. Ugh. I went to History and that was good. I was so hungry though. I went to the Marche and got the best looking piece of food I could find. It was a pesto chicken ciabatta sandwich. Actually really pretty good. Once the tomatoes were off. Then I did some homework and finished up my Stats stuff. I went to Astronomy and that class is just soo longgg. Well afterward I went to go see Nick for a while and that was nice. We had dinner and parted ways. He's on duty and I needed to go back to my room and watch tv. I watched Survivor when it finally came on, The Office which was amazing!!! Which means I have to watch Grey's Anatomy online tomorrow, or whenever I can get to it. And this will totally suck, because I love The Office and Grey's very much and it's on at the same time. Grr. Then it was It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia which is funny, but I probably won't make it into a weekly thing. Same with Survivor. I just don't care that much. Um what else. That's pretty much it for today. Hm. So I think I'll just to sleep now. I'm not too tired, but I'll pay for it tomorrow if I don't. If I fall asleep right this second, I could still get almost 9 hours of sleep. Awesome! 11:20PM

Well, it was an eventful birthday! As I was over with Nick's he caught his big toe under the door to his room. And his toe nail came off. Like 99% of it and he freaked out over the sight and thought of it and got all fainty and wanted to go to the emergency room. We were literally 100 feet away from it. Across the parking lot. So we go outside and he stumbles to the ground and I tell him to sit because I can't carry him and I can't really get anyone, so I need him to relax for just a minute. He gets up and falls down again in the parking lot road. There was a Domino's guy in a car and he drove around us probably thinking Nick was drunk or something! Great! He gets up again and falls down further on. It was freaking me out. He lifts his feet above his body and that helps him a lot. He gives it one finally push and makes it to the ER. He goes to triage immediately and they take his vitals and things like that. And then let him lay down since he was really pale and clammy and had low blood pressure. That did the trick and he was doing much better. Good!! But they wheel him off to this curtained area and he asked on the way if George Clooney was in that night. Nope, was the reply, but Dr. House is. Hahaha and we had just watched that premiere! So we waited and talked and the guy next to us would listen and throw in a comment every now and again. He left before us, but he was the unknown friendly nice guy. lol, it was like a tv show. Finally someone came in and they wanted to do an xray, but noo we're not paying for that so they give us the information on what's going to happen and we get some tape and gauze and things like that. And socks lol. We check out a little over an hour since we got in there and go back to the room. It was past midnight, so I got my birthday kiss in the hospital ahaha. But at least that's it. I go back home and get to sleep. I had Stat today and it was okay. I wish I could get my seat back, but everyone keeps taking it from me. Grr. Went to Bio and that class just seems to go on forever and ever. We got lunch at the Davis Center and poor Nick can't walk as fast now lol. We went to BSAD and that was good and I went back to the dorm. I got busy because I wanted to have some fun tonight. I did my big History reading and at 6:10 I rounded up Miriam, Alison, and Meghan and we got in Alison's car. Drove over to Nick's and waited for him to finish his meeting. Then we went downtown, parked and ate at the Three Tomatoes. It was good good. We came back because some needed to do work. We all had some cake and it was tasty tasty! About a quarter is left now. Nick and I watched Kid Nation and then when that was over we went over to his room so I could get my awesome card. It was cute hehe. I stayed for a bit, but now I'm back here and going to bed now. I am tired! Oh and I even took a nap today. But all in all, a pretty good day. Oh, and I'm 20 now. Wow! 11:45PM

I tried to get to bed early. I may be in bed, but I can't fall asleep. It took quite some time and I am tired now. I had lab early in the morning. We were the last group to finish, but whatever, we did it right lol. Then I got breakfast and came back to shower. Did just that and finished reading my stuff for History. Then I went to History and took some awesome notes. I got lunch at the Marche and came back to my room. I did more homework, like Astronomy and BSAD and then went to my Astronomy class. We had a quiz in there today. I think I did well. I then stopped at Nick's to get my Stat books from him and I left the dorm forgetting them lol, so I went back in and got them. I came back to my room and then was rushed out to eat with Alison and Meghan. Now I'm back and I finished my BSAD reading along with all that I can do for Astronomy and as well as Stat. I'll get to it all later, but what needs to be done is done. I'll be heading over to Nick's for a bit, so that's why I'm typing this now. Today is the last day I get to be a teenager. Wowie! 7:37PM

I got up and showered today and got ready. Went to Stat and that was fine. It's kinda an uneventful class at times, but it goes by fairly quickly too. I went to Bio and she was having problems with the projector. Class didn't start until maybe 20 minutes late and the thing still wasn't working. So she just gave her lecture, but she was certainly hindered without that power point presentation. It's a huge class too, so it wasn't easy. Nick and I had lunch at the Davis Center and went back to his room briefly and ran off to BSAD. That was a nice class and then I was out. I went back to my room and did a lot of Bio homework. Soon I walked back to Central and went to an Astronomy tutoring session to get help with the homework. Afterwards I went to Nick's to drop off a book and then we went to eat dinner. We checked out the newly open tunnel and then we each went our ways. I came back and finished the remaining bit of Bio and did Astronomy. I began reading for History but Alison and I went to a floor meeting and then we kinda just goofed off after that. We got some food at the Marche and then realized I was 20 minutes late for the Heroes premiere, even though I was thinking about it all day. I was very sad. But I'll just catch it online tomorrow or whenever it goes up. I did more reading and now I'm going to call it an early night. Two days till my birthday! 10:37PM

I got through 5 of 12 numbers on my little art project. It's finally coming together and it makes me very excited lol. I ended up seeing Nick for an hour I'd say after he got off duty. It was nice and I was tired and still counting on sleeping on my own in my empty room for the night, so he walked me back. On the way over I was cold so I changed my ring over to another finger, but as soon as I stepped inside, my fingers swelled up to regular size and now I couldn't get the ring off. Uh oh. We tried ice with no luck. Even on the walk back over I couldn't get it off. Uh oh. So my RA Nadine and I tried working at it, but also couldn't get it off. Now I was worried. The last thing I wanted to do was cut this wonderful ring off. So I just went to bed hoping to manage to get it off when it got colder the next night. I woke up after having many dreams about taking it off. Other then that, I slept really well. I took a shower. A cold one at first to see if I could shrink my fingers, nope. I continued to just get ready and I got some breakfast. I read online that I should watch the sodium intake and drink water. I got a Liter of water and had a yogurt for breakfast. Then I saw online that you can put windex on your finger and it'll slide off. I called the place where the ring was from and asked what to do. I was told the same thing and worst comes to worst, I could go see them before 4. But I still wouldn't cut it off. I went over to Nicks around noon to help him with Stat since he changed classes and now his first class will be a test over chapters 1-5 and worth 25% of his grade lol. Yeah, so quite a start needed from him. I helped him through some homework and it was a good review for me as well. I don't have that exam for another 2 weeks, but it helped me. I got lunch at the library at one point, a sandwich, and a muffin. Then when we finished, we worked on my finger. He had an ice cube tray filled up so we took two cubes and put it in a glass of water. I put my hand/fingers in there for a good 5 minutes. It was super super cold and it hurt, but whatever, I wanted to get this ring off and I really didn't think it was going to work since it was barely moving around now. So then I raised my hand in the air to drain out more blood, and the first was to get the swelling down. Then we went to a sink and put Dawn dish cleaning liquid on my finger and I began to twist it. I got over the knuckle and it came off!!! I never though it would be possible! I practically cried haha. I was getting soo worried I'd have to cut it. I cleaned it up and put it on the correct finger lol. Never again. I came back to my room and worked on my lab report. Then I had dinner with Nick at Brennan's. This place in the Davis Center. It was really pretty good, but extremely expensive. It cost 8.15 for a cheeseburger, drink, and a side of texas toast. But I greatly enjoyed it. We parted and I came back to finish my lab report. But not before helping Alison bring her stuff up to her room. She went shopping lol. I finished my lab and methods paper and now here I am. Yay. I'm going to look at the moon and then I'll be heading off to bed. 10:46PM

Wow, I'm not sure I got that much behind. So let me see. On Thursday I woke up around 9 and did my laundry. I went to History when it was time and some girl took my seat. Grr. I came back from class and when it was time, went to Astronomy. That class just seems to last forever some days. I came back and did some work, can't remember what exactly, but around 6:30 I met up with Nick at the Davis Center. We got dinner and then went to a Stat - Minitab session. We finished quickly and went back to his dorm. He did some reading and I relaxed and tried to take a nap, but failed. I ordered those pizza strips from Pizza Hut. They were very very tasty. Yum! And that was pretty much it for that day. On Friday I got up and got ready. Stat was the normal class that it is and we were soon out and I was off to Bio. I was restless by this class and wanted nothing more then just to get out of class. At last we were free and we went to eat at Cook. I got some tasty food and went back to my dorm. I tried to do some work, but it was not very successful. I said by to Alison and after a while Meghan and I planned on going to a beach. Not a beach exactly, more like a man made one on Lake Champlain, but who cares! Nick came with us, along with Meghan's friend Matt. We walked down to a bus stop and rode nearly all the way to the spot. It was time to walk the rest of the way and I thought we were lost, but Nick got us there somehow lol. We picked a spot, it wasn't very busy at all. Like maybe 8 groups of people lol. We tried out the waters, kinda cold. We didn't go in more then our mid shin/knee area. I played with some clay, Nick put it on my face. We all walked around and tried to skip stones. Or at least I tried, everyone else could lol. Nick and I went on a hunt for some sea glass. I liked that a lot. We found a lot too. And some really neat pieces! It was time to catch the bus for the way back, but it was running like 30 minutes late. We left and began to walk. Oh well. We actually got lucky and it caught up to us at the perfect moment and we got on. Made it to Church Street and Nick and I hiked the rest of the way up to the dorms and the other two would take the bus. I showered at my dorm and sat down waiting for something to happen. I watched Forest Gump and the last part of Something's Gotta Give. I was just getting started on some Sex and the City when Colin and his friend came to my room. We went to Colin's and hung out there for a bit. Then went outside and Jay came over when he got off duty. Then Nick joined us after 1 and we went back in to Colin's room. I was feeling tired and we all just left around that point, 2ish I guess. I woke up today around 11. It's Miriam's birthday so some of her family is here for the weekend. Her sister and brother-in-law. She spent the day with them and I did homework. It was nice. Nick and I met up at the bus station to go to the UMall on the quest of getting some fast food. Well, that was my idea lol. We got dinner there and I also bought a Paint By Numbers board to do for the night. Pretty much everyone I knew stayed in tonight, and then Nick was on duty so we had to get back for that. But we had a good time at the mall. I came back here and began painting. It's this skier going down a mountain in a lovely landscape-y scene. It'll go in Nick's room since he's collecting art from people to decorate with. It's coming along pretty well. I've done 5 of 12 colors and I'm stopping for the night. At one point Meghan came over and Miriam stopped by to get her things, but it's just me and now I'm looking forward to getting a good night's of sleep. Oh yes. It's going to be awesome. I really haven't for weeks actually. I have to check out the moon first to do a question on my Astronomy homework and it's a clear night. What luck! 11:12PM

Erm hmm. I don't know what to talk about. I had the usual Stat and Bio. But in Bio I had my exam in there today. I think it went ok, but there were only 40 questions and so if you miss 5, you get a B. So we'll just see how that turns out. We got out early, so Nick and I ate lunch at the Davis Center. Then went back to his room before BSAD. Finally time for BSAD and we had a quiz in there too. He tried to keep us over the time because he thought class ended 10 minutes later then it really does. lol, and people were packing up and people are out in the halls and he's like what's going on? lol. So then I went back to my room to drop off my stuff. I changed out of my pants since it's super hot outside. 75 degrees. I went downtown and picked up my ring. Yay! It's been a long two weeks without it. Then I went to the bank and cashed my tiny check. Then off to Homeport and I got something for Miriam, since her birthday is coming up this weekend. Then to City Market to buy some yogurt. I got 6, 2/3 of their stock lol. I walked back, sweating, but I made it back to my dorm. I did some work and had dinner and watched tv. I am bored, but I don't want to do anymore work. I just have a lab report and my Astronomy homework. I can't even do all of that one. So I'm just bored. 9:51PM

At last, a breakthrough with my cold. I am less stuffy today. I'm not sure why, but who cares. If this is the fastest cold ever, then so be it. I got up super early for Bio Lab and decided to try something. I'd take a shower after I got back from that class, because the water is never warm at 6 in the morning. So I just went to class. My lab partner and I were stupid with the work, so we had to ask soo many questions and were the last ones to finish. Yay for being a business and history major in a Bio Lab! lol. But we got it right, so there. I came back to my room, but first stopped at Alice's for a buttered bagel. I didn't say I wanted it toasted, but the guy just shoved it through the machine. ... Oh well, I did like how warm it was, but half of it was burnt black. Sad. I took my warm shower with success and then when it was time I went to my History class. I was tired, but I stayed awake. I got some snacks and lunch at the Marche and came back to my room. I did more Stat homework I started earlier and studied for my BSAD quiz tomorrow. Then it was time for Astronomy. That was alright. I got a B+ on my quiz and only missed one on the homework. I'll take it! lol. We got out early and so I came back. I finished my Stat work and then studied for my Bio exam. Scary scary! I decided, again, not to go to my Stat session. I really don't have to, I was just going to be a good student. But instead I studied for Bio more, which is more important. I finished with that, had some dinner and then at 8, went over to see Nick. We watched Big Brother, he played Guitar Hero 2, it was good fun. I left around 10:30 and came back and talked to my ladies and snacked and studied some more for Bio. Now it is time for bed. Wish me luck, my first exam already! 11:16PM

Ugh, I feel even worse today! I woke up to get ready for class. Luckily Stat went pretty quickly today so my concentrating on not having my nose drip snot everywhere was pretty much my main concern. I went to Bio and had the same experience. It's embarrassing to blow your nose in class so I was waiting for a loud moment, but instead we just got out early there. I always think it's nasty when other people blow their noses really loudly. So I keep that in mind. We ate at the Davis Center and went to his room so Nick could write some emails. Then it was time for BSAD. I managed to blow my nose twice in there, both at the right times lol. Then we went back to the Davis Center to buy some medicine. Apparently I got Nick sick. Hmm.... lol. I was trying to avoid it though. Then I came back to my room and did some homework, but I got really tired so I took an hour nap. Oh and I called my mom and we talked for a while. Did more work, ate, and went to this Bio study session. Before I stopped at Nick's room to hand over his repaired glasses that I worked on, but not fully repaired lol. Then the Bio deal and huge turnout, but I'm not sure if it helped me at all. Maybe a little, but eh I don't know. I decided to not go to my Stat session because I was late and I was hungry. I'll go tomorrow instead. So I came back and ate some dinner. I dragged Alison off to Condoms and Cupcakes, but we were just 2 minutes late and like everything was gone. Got a sticker and a leftover cupcake, lol. Oh well. We came back and I did more work and now I'm waiting for a quiz to be available online before I can take it. Going to bed pretty soon though. Since I'm sick and have to wake up early for lab tomorrow. 10:22PM

--Could have easily blogged yesterday, but I just didn't get to it I guess. On Saturday, I woke up around 11 and called my mom up. Then Nick and I went for some breakfast at Cook and that was so delicious! I came back here and showered and stuff. I finished my History reading and continued working on my Bio lab questions/intro. And that was pretty much it for my day. I ordered a pizza because I didn't have anything filling in my room and it was too late for food around campus. I ate half and watched the end of the Yankee-Red Sox game, how horrible that was. I then watched Me, Myself, and Irene. Nick didn't have anything to do, so I lured him over by saying he could eat some leftover pizza. It worked, but we watched tv and then he just fell asleep since he climbed up a mountain earlier. I went to bed too. Today we got up around 10. He left and I got ready for the day. I still feel sick. My throat is better after two days of feeling funny. But now it's in my nose. It's getting progressively fuller. lol. Not good. I did more Bio Lab stuff and had my breakfast. Then at 1 I went to Nick's room and we walked downtown for a bit. I got Season 4 of Reno 911 since I have the first 3. I pretty much was obligated to get it lol. But they didn't deactivate it so I was beeping at every single store we went in to. Finally at Border's they fixed it for us lol. Oh and we had lunch at some mexican place on Church Street which was pretty good. I got nachos which were tasty, but I won't get it again. It was a nice little walk in and eat and go place. We also went to Rite-Aid because I wanted to get more eye drops and I made the mistake of buying one pack instead of two. Oh well. And I got two more packs of tissues, lotion of course. We took the bus back up. I came back to my room. I met up with Alison and Meghan. At 4, the floor and some other girls floors were going to tie dye! Earlier, those two went to Wal-Mart and bought a pack of shirts for us. We went down and outside and began. I was very afraid I wouldn't do it right because I really hadn't done it before. Only once in girl scouts a super long time ago, maybe when I was 9 or something lol. But this was a lot of fun and I wish I had more I could have tie dyed. Once you start, you want to keep going lol. There was a big turn out, so that's great! My colors are orange, red, and purple. And I'll take a picture and link it for you guys. I'm so proud of it! Poor Alison left a gap between her two colors and so the middle looks really white, but otherwise pretty. Meghan used three colors and it looks cool and she went down to do some shorts too. I wanted to do more, but I couldn't find any other clothes I wanted to sacrifice lol. After that I ate again lol and finished my Bio Lab stuff. Yay! Now I'm having tea and I'll get that link soon. Then I'll go see Nick and we'll watch Big Brother, even though it's not that exciting anymore, and some Reno 911. Then hopefully an early bedtime for me. 6:27PM

I woke up today and was not feeling very fantastic. So I think I might be getting sick. I don't exactly have a sore throat but it does feel like irritated and larger. So we'll see what happens with that. I went to classes. Stat was alright and so was Bio. I love getting out at noon. Nick and I then went to Cook for lunch. I went healthy and unhealthy, a chicken caesar wrap and a slice of pizza lol. Afterwards Nick pulled some moves on Guitar Hero. Him and everyone are anxiously awaiting for the newer version to come out later. I always hear about it in Stat. Really, every episode. I then went back to my room and did some work. But I was feeling pretty bad and wanted to take a nap. Oh well. At 3:30 Alison and I went downstairs and outside to wait for her friend Jen. We were to pick up her car today. The window would be fixed! Yay. There was this poor kid who was trying to longboard and go around curves and he kept falling off it and hurting himself! We felt soo bad for the poor guy. Soon her friend picked us up and we were off to get the car. She dropped us off and Alison worked on the insurance paying for it. It was taking so long and I had to pee, luckily they had a place. We marveled at the lovely new window and then drove downtown. We stopped at City Market and I got some bananas, plums, and yogurt. An entire healthy purchase! Then we went to Rite Aid, formerly Brooks, and I got some Coke, laundry detergent and shampoo lol. We got back in the car and came back. Brought all of our heavy things upstairs. I got dinner and soon Nick came over. Now we're just waiting for something to happen. 7:24PM

I slept in to the very late 8:52am. I had loads of time so I got up and did my laundry. I planned to anyway. I got ready and did the laundry and when it was finally time I went to History. I was much more awake today which is very good. We watched a film and that was nice. I bought some lunch and it was a frozen item and when I got back to my room, you have to cook it in an oven. So that was wonderful, so much for my lunch. Instead I had a yogurt and chips. lol. Then before I knew it, it was time for Astronomy. What a long long class. This boy introduced himself to me, but he looks super young and I have a gut feeling he might live on Nick's floor hahaha. I came back here and did some work. Alison and I were craving lattes yet again so we walked to the library for one. I got a bagel too. For dinner lol. While walking back Nick crossed our path. He was clearly on a mission for some food and was wearing headphones lol. I don't even know. He totally missed us too! But we got a great laugh out of it. So we came back and I did more homework and watched Big Brother and also went to see Meghan and Alison. Good stuff. Now I'm going to go to sleep. 11:11PM

I woke up today and got some breakfast. I got ready and then had my breakfast. I got a thing of cereal and some milk. I was not satisfied with it even though it is my favorite type of cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I think it was the milk's fault. Not what I'm used to. Anywho, I went to Stat and that was fine. I got back my previous homework of printing out the homepage of his website and writing our names and class on it. I got a 250/250. Yep, you read that right. I'll most certainly take it lol. Then Biology. I paid super attention today because I have my first exam in it next week and I am very scared for it. It's just like a lot of info and on chemistry. We haven't gotten into Bio things yet. Nick had to go do something, so I got a snack at the Atrium and just went to my BSAD class to wait. That was a fine class too. I went to Nick's room where we cut my finger nails and lotioned some of my face hahaha. I went back to my room and began my homework. I completed my BSAD finally! And I am very excited about that. I wrote some notes for BSAD and Bio and now I'm working on my Bio lab questions. We had a floor meeting tonight that was pretty short and afterwards I went to dinner with Meghan and Alison at the Davis Center. I waited for a long time and paid a lot for food that I didn't even care for. So I got some ice cream too to feel better lol. At another point in the night Alison and I went to Starbucks because she wanted some, and well since they don't deliver... Oh and we went to Staples earlier in the evening too. I got some candy, but I didn't see the pens I was looking for. So now I'm going to keep working on my questions until 10:30 and then I will go to sleep. I'll sleep in a bit tomorrow, but then up for some laundry before class. Yay! 10:06PM


September 11, 2007
Alright, so I woke up really early this morning. I had the full intention on shaving, but becaus it was 6:30 and I was the first on my floor to get in the shower, the water never warmed up and it hurts to shave over goosebumps. That made me sad but I continued to get ready. I went to my 8 o'clock lab. It was much better then the first one. I was so bored last time, but this was good. We were actually doing something scientific. We got out around 10 and I went to Alice's on the way back for a bagel. I made tea in my room and did some reading. I finished the rest of my History and started the remainder of my Stat. I later finished that in the evening. I went to History and wow was I tired. I took fine enough notes, but it was hard to stay awake. Then I went immediately to an Astronomy help session with this girl I knew through Emily last year. It was good and I got my homework worked out. I came back and had some lunch, I think. Hm. I don't remember. lol. Actually, I don't think I did. I sat down and redid the Astronomy so it was neat and then studied for my quiz. I went to class and was once again tired and on top of that I had to pee sooo badly. I couldn't get up and go, and then I had a quiz to take. So I finished it and ran out of there. I went to Cook, the closest one I could think of and felt much better lol. I came back, but along the way I had a huge contact problem. I thought it just randomly broke in my eye and after many people looking at it, Meghan and Alison, I just took it out and I think it's ok. But it felt like something flew in and I thought it was a bug. Very different feeling this time. I got dinner with Alison and did more work. Did half of my BSAD, or at least what's due for tomorrow. I might be going to see Nick soon so that's why this is early. Oh and get this, so my RA put up these signs a week or so back that say "If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down." For those who don't get that, it's for your pee and poop lol, in a toilet. So. Noww, a bunch of girls just don't flush after the yellow! And it's gross. Because apparently with each flush you waste 2 gallons of water or whatever. And I was raised to flush the toilet. Gross. 8:00PM

Alright, I'm going to cover the past four days in this post so I can keep up with it all. Friday, September 7, 2007. I woke up at the usual time and got ready. I walked to Stat and it was not an exciting lecture. He was lecturing about Minitab, but I had already gone over all that information so I didn't have much to do. Next was Biology and that was the typical class. Afterwards, Nick and I dropped our stuff off at his dorm and went over to Cook for lunch. Cook is not what it use to be. It's now a dining hall and is paid for by 'blocks'. You can't run in anymore and get your food to go, you have to sit down and eat. It really sucks and many people are upset about this new change. I like the new food selections, but it's a hassle too. I had a cheeseburger and pizza and a soda. It was good lol. After Nick and I hung out for a little bit, but then I came back to my dorm in order to do some homework before we all did something later that night. I can't remember what I did. I want to say Astronomy and maybe some BSAD, but oh well. I met up with Nick around 5 and we walked downtown, oh and took the bus too, to his dads art studio. This weekend was the South End Art Hop and it's this big walk around and see art festival thing. I missed out on it last year because I couldn't find it lol. But this time I made it! We got a free sample of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and made it to his dads place. We looked around at his and the other people's work and then left after 30 minutes or so. We looked around some more, but got a call from Max and went back to campus. Stopped at Nick's to get my things and we went to my dorm. It was me and Nick and soon Meghan and Alison came over. We stayed there until maybe ... hm 11 I guess. 11:30 and then me, Alison, and Nick went to meet up with Nick's friend Max and Max's friends in Living/Learning. lol, confusing yeah. We stayed there for a short while and Nick went somewhere with Max and so Alison and I went over to Redstone Apartments to find Colin at a birthday party for a friend of ours. We stayed there for the rest of the night, or at least until 1:45 ish. We had a good time. I went to sleep a little after 2.
Saturday, September 8, 2007.I woke up at 7 and got into the shower. It took me forever to get ready and pack since I accidentally let it for the morning. At 9:30, Nick came over and the two of us, and Alison brought our things to her car. We loaded up and left for a Starbucks. She and I got something and then we were off to Montreal, around 10:15. We had to make a bathroom break, but made it around 12:30. We parked and tried to find a box office, but it was just some random music store. Not good. Got back in the car and just drove to Alison's friend's apartment. Her name is Annabel. It was a really cool place and she has the best room there. We brought our things up and it was a goregous day outside. I put on sunscreen and soon Nick and I were off. We exchanged some money at our favorite convenient store and got on the Metro. We were a little slow at it in the beginning, but now I know how to pay and get the ticket and what not. It cost 2.75 each way. Yikes. Oh well. We got on different colors and finally made it to the Osheaga festival. Got our tickets and decided to check the place out. The setup was great and we listened to a few random bands before the group I wanted to see came out. When it was time, we got close to the stage for the Editors, a band I like. They put on a great show. The music and sound was perfect and they were totally having a lot of fun. That lasted from 3 till 3:45. The highlight of the day would be at 9:30 when the Smashing Pumpkins came on. We were at the same stage and decided to just wait it out for 6 hours. Yeah, it was brutal as it sounds. At 6 my next band of choice came on in front of us. And we were now in the front row, oh yeah!! It was Stars and I enjoyed that too. In the meantime we were listening to bands on the stage next door, Xavier Cafeine, Patrick Watson, Feist, and Damien Rice. Blonde Redhea was at ours and that was kinda boring. The girl was sitting down in a dress at a keyboard and well, she was wearing a thong. Then Dumas came out and that was pretty entertaining even though it was in French. Finally, finally!!! The Smashing Pumpkins were due to come out and it was sooo incredibly packed. I was squished from hip to hip. I knew it would be bad, but I never expected it to be soo intense. They came out and it was soo amazing. There was a mosh pit up at the front and we got shoved to like the 2 through 5th row of people. It was a sweaty mess and rough, but when it was under control it was soo much fun. Nick and I managed to stay together, and that was not easy in that mass of people. It was dirt on the ground and so it kicked up and we were covered in it. On our lips and up the nose and in the ears. At 11 we got back on the metro wanting to find food and maybe get a drink. It had been 7 hours since we had a water. The girls were slow, but we met up with Annabel and Alison who were spending the day together, along with two other guys, Walter and Parker? I don't know. I was focused on food. Nick decided to leave and meet up with his friend Kasey and I followed the others. We went to a place that had food and drinks, but the kitchen was closed. I was upset and just got a water. We left for my poor belly and I got a sandwich at an open Subway. Us three girls then went back to the apartment. I ate my sandwich on the way lol. It was good! Soon Nick showed up and we got ready for bed. Annabel wasn't going to stay with us, so Alison and I had the bed and Nick, the patch of carpet, lol. I brought pillows and blankets and a towel, cause I was told to. Therefore, I had my large, obnoxious suitcase with me. But whatever, I had what I needed. The other two had backpacks. So we went to sleep around 1:30 I'd say.
Sunday, September 9, 2007. We woke up and got ready for today. Alison and I would be going to the music festival, and Annabel would be coming along too. We packed up our things and walked to the car. I was going down the street with my large suitcase lol. We got there and poor Alison had a parking ticket from the lot she was in. And she got one the day before because it was parked in a no parking section. Well, we renewed the 15 hour parking stamp and Nick went off to see Kasey. Our stuff was in the car and the girls went to a coffee place for breakfast. I got something tasty and when we were done we stopped one more time at the car at 11:30. We got on the Metro, but Alison got the ticket thing wrong and the lady started yelling at her. Aww. We luckily made it and they got their tickets. We went in and sat down on the hill waiting for Voxtrot to start. We got in like the 2nd row or so for that and I was very pleased. Another band I wanted to see! Soon after was We Are Scientists at 2:15. It was great! I love them so much. Alison was at the concert to see Arctic Monkeys so we ran over to their stage and wait it out there from 3:00 until 6:00. It was boring at times, but we got all the way up to the 2nd row. At least, if there was moshing you wouldn't be squished up against the rail, and it'd just be body on body which is softer lol. So Paola Nutini was dull and we listened to Pascale Picardo and Sam Roberts. We saw Martha Wainwright, but she ran late and messed up the times for everybody else. They decided to push us away so they could wet the ground and when the water turned off, we got wet. Oh, and Annabel ended up leaving around 4 to go back home. After the water incident, it got packed and I was not up for another round of being squished. But they came out and it happened. It wasn't as rough as the Smashing Pumpkins, but we were still tight. lol, you'd jump in the air and the crowd would carry you over like half a foot haha. It was good and Alison took a lot of pictures. At 6:45 ish we got in line for some water. I saw I had two texts from Nick, weird. Two. Hm. So I read them. ... Alison's rear passenger window was broken and Nick's and Alison's backpack was gone. Nick happened to walk by the car and saw it at 5:30. We left right then and there to meet with him in order to go file a police report. Not surprisingly she was very upset and we got back as fast as possible. We saw the damage took pictures and Nick drove us to the place. We filed it and left for home. Nick cleaned up the seat and window so it was only cold for the ride home. We got across the border and made it back to the dorms. So Alison lost her passport and Nick his birth certificate. Yeah, really bad. But we got a call from Annabel later saying some man showed up at her door with Alison's passport. Inside the passport were the directions to her apartment. That's how that worked out. I bet it was the person who took the bag, why else would they return it? Besides those important documents they got a bunch of dirty clothes and school books. And an ipod. But they also put down the visors in attempt to find a spare key to steal the car. I didn't lose a thing because my huge suitcase was locked up in the trunk, so that paid off. I ordered a pizza for them and Nick and I ended up eating it. I went to sleep around 11:30.
Monday, September 10, 2007. And finally on the current day! I woke up for Stat and it was a good class. We are finally getting to some real stats and learning things now. Biology was alright. It's just such a huge class that I can't really say anything more about it. Nick and I went for lunch at the Atrium and went to our BSAD class. Yay Accounting! We took a group quiz and we got a 100, oh yeah! I went back to my dorm afterwards to do my homework. I did Biology for the entire week and my History reading due for tomorrow. Nick came over to read the Biology since he doesn't have the book. We went to dinner when he finished, at the Davis Center. I got a milkshake and I came back to the dorm. I finished History and studied for my Astronomy quiz. I took a break and watched last night's episode of Big Brother. I took my quiz online for Bio also. Then I read a chapter of Stats and now here I am typing this mammoth thing. We had a fire drill tonight. It sucked and is super loud, but it's necessary so whatever. Now I'm off for bed! I still have a lot of work to do, but I've got it all under control and it's just stuff that I'm trying to get done ahead of time. 11:59PM

I got to sleep in today. I probably should have woken up earlier to do more work, but the sleep was needed too. I got ready and had some breakfast in the room. I'm in to tea and some fruit in the morning now. I know, weird. lol. I did some History reading and then went to that class. It was good. I take some pretty awesome notes in that class which makes me excited. I then walked back and didn't see anything tasty at the Marche so I just made some lunch in my room. It was soon time for Astronomy. I went to class and ugh that class just lasts forever and some girl had bad BO today. Yuck! After I came back and finished my History reading that should have been done a bit earlier and then finished my last chapter of Stat homework. At 6 we had a floor dinner outside. We got food and met up. That was nice, but I went back in to do more work. I have 2 problems left of Astronomy, but I don't feel like doing anymore tonight. This stuff is all due over time, so it isn't too serious. I'm just getting it done ahead of time. So our blinds in our room are severly annoying. The wind blows and they bounce around all over the place. I've tried to muffle it and tape it, but it's not really working and it's just driving me crazy. If we close the windows, it gets too hot in the room. 11:59PM

Wow I am so unbelievably behind on blogging. I meant to start back up on September 1st, but the days kept passing by. Right now I don't have the time to go over things, so I'll just talk about today. It's a fine start. So Miriam overslept her 8am class, which woke me up 30 minutes earlier then usual. I got up and got ready for class and went to Statistics. I couldn't wake up in that class, but it went fine. We haven't exactly learned anything in there, except look at graphs and things like that. I know all about that already, so it's good for me. I then went to Biology. A typical class there and Nick and I went to go eat at the Davis Center. A new, over the top building on campus, that also doesn't have a good food selection. He got a pizza and I got some grapes. I would eat later. Then it was time for BSAD, or Financial Accounting, which I love and only have 2 times a week. It's kind of an awkward time so we have 25 minutes to kill between my 2nd and 3rd class. That class was good, I'll update my notes later. After I got lunch at the Marche and ate it in Alison's room while we talked for a bit. I called mom and then walked downtown. First to stop at the bookstore to return a book and then downtown to deposit a check and go to Perrywinkle's to get my ring from Nick resized. Sadly, it's going to take 2-3 weeks. I miss it so much already. I walked back up and got a smoothie since I was so hot, even though it was 72 degrees outside. I came to the room and did my Bio homework. I read and took a quiz online. After 3 tries I got the 100 and went to drop my book off at Nick's so he can do his stuff. I came back and set to work on Stat. Around 6:30, Alison and Meghan and myself went to the Marche for dinner and then to the Davis Center for a little Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Mmm mmm. Came back and it was more stat homework for me. But crisis! I needed a protractor and soon, so Alison and I made an emergency trip to Staples and got my protractor. Back to Stat and now I have finally finished my reading and 5 problems. Took forever!! I was going to read a chapter of Minitab for Stat also, but it's 40 pages and I just don't feel like it. I'll just leave it for tomorrow afternoon or something. The goal is to finish my work through the weekend because I'm going up to Montreal with (right now) Nick and Alison for the Osheaga music festival. It's going to be absolutely awesome. I know so many bands there. 11:26PM
